I am really impressed with the haircut I just got from the apprentice Garret. He is a stand up dude took his time and really gave attention to detail! To be real I was very nervous about an apprentice shaping up me nap, considering I just moved here from NC and I have not been able to find a good barber until now! I’ll see ya in couple weeks Garret, keep up the the smooth work!

I asked for a LOW taper and I brought numerous photos showing what I was looking for. What I got was a HIGH taper, practically a high and tight. I basically got a crew cut. The hair on the sides is all one length. I went there because I thought they would do the tapering the way I wanted. Instead, without even asking my permission(!), I was assigned a guy who isn’t even a licensed barber yet. I went there for a top notch clipper cut, not to get a student. Basically, I got a decent haircut BUT NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR! Very frustrating. Pictures show what I showed the barber vs what I got. I felt that their assigning me a student without asking my permission was poor judgment and for that reason, I cannot recommend going there.

My son and I went for a bike ride. Stopped in for the first time. Had an appt. with Jake. We both got haircuts and beard trims. We were both happy with our cuts. Jake is a great barber!Thanks, we will be back

Billy saved my gf’s life today. Went to different barber who left a landing strip for a 747 airplane as my hard part. Left lines since they couldn’t fade. Patches of hair. But Billy came in clutch and saved the day. Will not ever go anywhere else. 11/10 recommend this shop! They are the best!

Been coming here for about 8 months now. Chris was amazing while he was there but since has moved on to another shop. My new barber is Jacob and i cant tell you enough good things about him. Hes easy to converse with, hes clean, slick, professional and just all around very talented. The shop is friendly, warm and welcoming. Kinda rustic and i love it. a great barber shop. Happy to call it mine.

I recently photographed a wedding where the groom and his groomsmen spent the morning getting ready at the shop. Everyone at the shop was super accommodating for a large group (plus me running around with a camera) and added to the fun of the day getting to know the guys, asking about the wedding plans, joining in on fun conversations. All the guys had a blast and came out looking super fly for a full day of photographing! Thanks dudes.

Got a beard trim and a straight razor shave. The shave did not go well. Had mazzive stubble o had to shave when I arrive Dat home. My beard was trimmed in a way that sections were super long surrounded by short areas. Had to go home and fix everything myself waste of time and money for a subpar experience.

My son had pretty long & thick hair and was wanting a shorter cut and Joey hooked him up (amazing attention to detail) My son loves his hair and said Joey was so kind and they chatted the whole time . Matt cut my hair and he did a great job I was very happy with it. The guys are all friendly and we had some good conversations about all sorts of stuff. I was afraid it would be a little bro-ey but Im happy to report that was not the case. Ill definitely be back. Prices were fair for the service provided. This isnt a super cuts or great clips they dont push you through like livestock they take their time and do the job right.

Have been going here for years after moving to Spokane. My guy, Ken, is great! Super fun, professional, great barber and person. Ive had other barbers here occasionally too for scheduling reasons, and everyone at this place has been great. Great vibe and personality for the whole place and this is the only place Ill go.

I think this is a great location. My experience was not the best, but Im used to someone with over 30 years of experience anyways as a Barber so I would definitely give it another shot. I will personally choose another barber next time. I was hoping they hOffered shampoo amd conditioner aswrll because I ran out. Looks like they only have products for beards at this location.

I was a walk in yesterday was told good thing and try it out. I went in 4a beard trim, they were booked but sence it was just a beard trim they could fit me in. Chris started and I explained what I wanted done. Keep the length maybe 1 finger shorter at bottom basically just clean it up. Half my beard is gone cut unevenly and my sideburns fadedlended to high up into my hair on the side of my head. Even though I explained where the line was and that one of the reasons I was trying Brickyard barbershop because the last barber went to high with the blend, yesterday ended in same result. Said I only want you to blend it to a certain line and he cut above it.

Recommend making an appointment, as walk-ins getting service within the same 30 minutes of arrival are rare. Great barbershop with great talent, especially for beards. They do all the stuff you would expect at a quality barbershop without glorifying it (straight razor cuts with cream, etc.) Please bring cash for your barber

A great place for a guy to get a haircut. Jefferson was professional and gave a great cut, after doing the haircut they put a hot towel on your neck and give you a straight razor shave to get your lines looking crisp. Best hair cut I have ever had. This will be the only place I go from now on.

In a word, FANTASTIC. The shop is a complete package; a throwback to the old-school barber shop--complete with great people, great cuts, and a great atmosphere. I heard about this place from a recommendation and was told to see Ken. One of the best haircutting experiences I have ever had. I had to drive from 45 minutes away, but it is so worth it. I was instantly greeted and loved the atmosphere of the place. If youre looking for a great barber and a friendly experience I highly recommend Ken and the rest of the staff there. Also if you have a kid who is scared of haircuts their shop dog is really friendly which will help calm them down.

Andrew does an amazing job cutting my sons hair, and is very nice! We are regulars here and my son always walks out of there looking sharp. Its a very masculine, mans man looking place and I am usually the only female in there when taking my son. Everyone is super friendly and I never feel uncomfortable being a woman in a mans world while Im there 😂

This is hands down the best barbershop I’ve ever been to. Forget Spokane, in the WORLD! Billy is my barber and he’s so pleasant and cuts my hair like nobody else could ever dream. I’ll never stop giving Billy and Brickyard my money.

What a fun place for a haircut! Jefferson handed me a beer when I sat down, great music playing from vinyl, and the best haircut and shave Ive had in years.

My husband brought our autistic son in to get his haircut the staff was by far Unprofessional when it came to my sons hair it had a few knots in it and they were laughing and joking and making fun of my sons hair. They made my autistic son feel very sad and put down and he felt worthless when you go in there you’re there to be groomed you’re there or not to be put down by others. My husband has been going to the shop for over a year normally he has a good experience but for some reason the barber that was doing my sons hair decided to be unprofessional and rude and make fun of my sons hair.

I am impressed with my barber, Jefferson, who is not only great at getting my own haircut right every time, but also great about beard trims when needed. Lets provide a rundown of the pros and criticisms of the business:Pros: I think my barber Jefferson does a consistently great job with my hair and beard. The core concern of a barbershop is how well can they do your haircut--and I am completely satisfied with my hair needs here. I came to this place on a whim after my previous barber left town for Seattle a few years ago, and have found this place to be a great atmosphere for men. The music often plays classic rock, metal, and other eclectic tastes of the crew who run this place. The chairs have a nice classic barbershop feel, and individual personality is felt throughout the place. I feel as though all barbers that work at this shop would do a great job for any males haircut. I see boys and men of all ages come in through the shop, so any needs are met. I also appreciate the friendliness and courtesy that I receive here. If on particular days I dont feel like smalltalking through a haircut, I wont be pressed to talk. However, I often enjoy the frivolous conversations shared amongst the professionals and patrons.Criticisms or Concerns you may have: The shop is cash only, which might be a bummer if you dont know that ahead of time. If I were a new customer, personally speaking, Id feel confident walking in on a whim and waiting for the next available barber.I write this review not simply after one haircut, or one good experience, but after having gone to this barbershop for over two years now. After gathering recommendations and reviews from around town, I decided to try Brickyard for my first real beard barber. I’m glad I did! Old school barber shop right on Monroe. Matt gave me a great cut and a ton of no nonsense advice for beard care. Watching the other guys work though, I wouldn’t hesitate to trust my cut to any one of them. Saw a lot of impressive beards come through while I was in the chair. This must be the place! Ton of extra care and all at a great price.

When I first moved into the area I was planning on trying several barbershops to see which I preferred. Luckily for me I tried Brickyard Barbershop first, and I just never got around to trying anywhere else. Everyone is so friendly and talented here, and the building and decor is great.

I basically was in the shop no one said a single word to me they just kind of look at you and I walked out because I felt uncomfortable however I cant give them a one-star because I dont know how they cut hair I have heard good things about there barbers. I would encourage the staff to have more basic customer service skills
