Ryan is the best. Honest, and will do whatever he can to make sure your car has what it needs. His quality of work can’t be overstated. Same guy, same honest expert advice about my cars after 12 years. The thought of taking my Honda’s to anyone else literally makes me cringe. If you’re trying to get ahold of him and it’s not an emergency, have patience. He will get back to you. There are reasons. He is thorough with his work, not to mention a one man show. Worth every penny and then some!

Ryan is currently a one-man show. Good help is hard to find, he said and given this current environment and culture, I believe him.I called and took my vehicle in after I got off work, which is later than his shop officially closes. He stayed open late for me!Not only did he replace my sway bar end links, but he then showed me some tricks on my truck that I was unaware of. And then he fixed another problem that Id just mentioned in passing!I had a concerning oil leak, he told me which gasket was bad, sent me a link so that I could purchase it directly.Now, I have him doing an engine overhaul because we are coordinating schedules because he gave me his cell in order to reach him when not at the shop.Time is money...you have time? Work with him and he WILL save you money. No time? Prepare to spend big at the bigger shops.He cut his teeth working at Downtown Honda before LHM bought it, and now he fixes imports and domestics (but prefers imports).All the broke down cars in the back lot are because he is so busy fixing current customer cars that he doesnt have spare time to try and sell the rest.

My alternator died on our way home from a long trip on a Sunday. I called several shops hoping to get someone who could fix it on Monday morning so we could get back on the road and home. Ryan texted me back within 30 minutes and came in on his day off on Monday to fix it and we were home with our car Monday afternoon. He was super confident and communicative. I wish I lived closer because I would always take my car to him. Great experience!

So after 5 months of calling and going to the business to try and talk to someone I gave up. Seriously tried several times a week to reach this business but know body picks up phone or opens the locked door. This place is a joke. Don’t let the 100 broke down cars there fool you, it’s all for show. And this was all before covid 19 hit. This is a tweaker with a lot!!!

August 2011: Honesty, integrity and hard work that is Ryan. It was great having him work on my car. I like the personalized service he and his staff gave me. Definitely a good alternative to a dealership. I will come back!Update August 2013: I do not live in the Spokane area anymore, but was visiting this summer. I needed several minor but important things done to my car, so I took it to Ryans to make an appointment. Ryan and his staff were busy working on several cars. However, they did everything I needed then and there. The mechanics there understand that superior service combined with there expertise will always keep them in good stead. I have rarely experienced this level of work ethic, knowledge and service. They are good. REALLY GOOD!

We had a brake light on in our car and we had to add brake fluid to the reservoir. We called Ryan and left a message. He called us back at 7PM on the same Saturday and said bring the car in. At 10PM he called us back again and said the car was done. We went over and picked up the car. It was a loose brake line. He repaired it for no charge. We have been bringing our cars to Ryan for 7 years. Hes a stand up guy, great mechanic, and has great prices. I cant recommend him enough.

Ryan is my cars guardian angel. I only wish I had discovered him years ago. I have a high mileage Honda Accord, and things have been wearing out left and right. I have been to a few mechanics, to include a friend of a friend that works out of his garage (Im on a budget and cheaper prices). All I am going to say about that, is you clearly get what you pay for and Ive ended up paying more in the long run and Im still not done. My first experience with Ryan ended up being an electrical problem, and after going two other places, one of which was a Honda dealer (wont mention which one), he knew what the problem was over the phone before he even looked at it. The Honda dealer charged me $100 just tell me what was wrong with it; it ended up they werent even close. Thank goodness I didnt have them fix what wasnt broke and pay another $200.Car broke down last nite, had it towed in today, told him what it was doing, again he and his mechanic, George, knew what was wrong before they even looked at it. They had the part in-house, opened the hood, fixed it and I was on my way within 30 minutes (on a Saturday no less with no appointment). He is fair, knowledgeable, professional, and is obviously passionate about what he does and values his customers. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else, ever again, even if it was out of the way, and highly recommend him to anyone with a Honda. He more than knows his stuff and will bend over backwards to get you back on the road as quickly as possible with a quality result. Thank you Ryan and George!!!

I bought one of those AC recharge bottles to recharge my air conditioning and ended up over filling it. I stopped by Hills Automotive and the guy was a total jerk, he was rude and wanted to charge $350 and wouldnt even take one second to look at it (i was trying to explain to him the noise the compressor was making). So I called Ryans Import and he made time for me to come in the same day and he evacuated my cars A/C compressor and refilled it for me while I waited and only charged me $30! I have always had bad experiences with mechanics but Ryan was courteous and did a fantastic job for me! Was a great experience!

Saved me a ton of money, the dealership was asking $1200 to diagnose an engine vs head issue. Ryan FIXED the issue for much less. As a result, Ive asked him to do a bunch of other work on the car with the money I saved from that one issue. He definitely knows Acuras. Thanks Ryan!

As good as it gets! A very competent staff and someone who will work with you on getting your vehicle serviced and back on the road. They lay out the problem and then give you all the options with any and all issues with your car. I highly recommend Ryans for your automotive repair shop.

Only service place in town I will take my Acura. Honest, explains everything and fair priced. Has solved several difficult car iasues ive had.

Very knowledgeable, trustworthy mechanic. After so many experiences with mechanics overcharging or straight out lying as to what is needed, it is refreshing to find a mechanic that is nothing like that. I wish I found this place allot earlier.

I highly recommended Ryans Honda, they were booked out for about a week and my Honda was having hydraulic issues for the clutch. Ryan spent most of his Saturday night fixing it for me so that I could drive it.

If hes hard to get ahold of, dont let that stop you. By far the most transparent mechanic Ive ever been too! I drive over from Seattle just to go to him. I got a bunch of different quotes for a timing belt change for my Honda from different shops and he was by the far the cheapest. When I brought my car in we discovered that the previous owner (I had just bought this car) had already replaced the timing belt and it didnt need to be done right away, which saved me hundreds. There were some oil leaks though that he found and he clearly showed me where they were coming from. Upon fixing the oil leaks he discovered there was a problem with my V-Tec engine. He fixed all of those leaks, the V-Tec, installed a new lock in my car, installed HID headlights, fixed my Catalytic Converter, changed my O2 sensors and helped me fix my amplifier for around $300. If I would have gone to other shops, this wouldve cost me more than $1000. He took pictures and showed me what he fixed, which exhibits how transparent he likes to keep his shop. Extremely nice guy, I would recommend him to anyone in Washington State. If he doesnt answer his phone, he will get right back to you, hes worth the wait.

Ryan has been working on my car for over a year now. He always talks me through the service and his prices are very reasonable. Havent had any problems with his work and I always refer my friends. Im moving soon and plan on traveling for his work.

Took my Honda Accord in to have front wheel bearings and new rotors installed. Very friendly and professional staff. Would highly recommend anyone with a Honda or Acura to have these guys work on it. You wont find a better Honda trained shop than Ryans!!
