I had to spend 300+ when they towed my car. My car wasnt even at the towing place for that long either. What terrible prices and no sympathy at all for my situation. The employees didnt even wear a mask inside and were in a pandemic for crying out loud. Horrible business.

I ordered a tow with the flat truck. Chad was the operator an did an excellent job. Took his time to make sure my car was loaded without a scratch.

Driver was prompt, friendly and compassionate. Literally no other tow company was willing to help, given the location of my vehicle. Driver even allowed my aspiring 17 year old mechanic shadow him for the duration of our need of service. Will definitely call these guys first, next time I require a tow.

Had front end alignments done here a few times and they did a great job. Asked them to look at a few other things and they were up front and honest about what needed to be done instead of trying to trick me into replacing things that dont need replaced. I will definitely go back again in the future.

I started my truck with my 6 month old inside and accidentally shut and locked the door. I reached out to two tow companies who stated We cant help. I reached out to Nelsons towing and could instantly tell the lady on the phone was concerned and wanted to help. She dispatched a tow truck immediately to come open my truck. They were there in less than 15 minutes after my phone call and quickly opened my door so I could get my newborn. When I attempted to pay I was told I was not being charged. The tow truck driver explained he is just glad that she is ok and happy he was able to help. I have not had an experience with Nelsons towing in the past but can tell you this is the first place I will call next time. A company that really tries to help when someone is in urgent need is a company that has earned my business. Thank you so much!

Nelsons contracted with USAA’s roadside assistance company, Ageron. Nelsons accepted a tow request and I was given an ETA of 120-130 minutes. Kind of ridiculous for a cross town tow at 8 am, but I had time to burn. At 10:10 I called Nelsons who said they’d never accepted the request. After some back and forth with USAA Nelsons updated the request and a driver called to say he was 20 minutes out.Several minutes later, Nelsons canceled the tow entirely with no explanation leaving me stranded. If your roadside assistance assigns you to this place, run don’t walk.

They towed my sisters truck, after I just went to check on it,N tell Carls Jrs that Im still trying to get fast for it. Cause I had a Dr. Appt. That next morning. N that was the closest to my boyfriends Apts. So I didnt have to walk far. I have bad knees N was going to find out when I go,cause I had to find money not just for gas but towing bill. Ive never felt so broke in my life. Plus my sis was very mad at me. That made me feel so _little_ in my life.

I called asking for a quote to tow me about 6 miles. The lady I spoke to told me they charge 45$ to hook and 4$ per mile after that so the total should have came out to 70$ plus tax. After they dropped my vehicle off they told me I owed 102$. They charge an extra 25$ for a dolly. Would have been nice to be aware of that, I could have saved money asking someone else to tow.

My car was towed today from my apartment complex. I parked in the designated area in front of our clubhouse so they could resurface the parking lot in front of my building. The resurfacing had to set, so I left the car in the designated area overnight. Apparently they were planning to resurface the designated area where my car was parked this morning, which I didn’t realize. So they towed it at 11:00 am today, along with 5 other vehicles in the same vicinity. It was an honest mistake on my part to leave the car and I admit that. Nobody is perfect and mistakes happen. But I live there, so I thought the car was safe. I didn’t go to retrieve my car until 5:00 pm today since I work from home and didn’t need it until then. That’s when I realized it had been towed. I asked twice if Nelson’s could work with me on the fees. I was calm and respectful to the guy I spoke with. They flat-out refused to work with me at all, whatsoever. Actually, I was told that they “might” work with me, but I’d have to wait until Monday to talk to someone because it’s now after hours on Friday evening. Sorry, but I’m not leaving my car that I NEED all weekend only on the “possibility” that they “might” work with me, only to “possibly” find out that they “might” charge me even more for holding my car all weekend. They had my car for about 6-7 hours (not overnight), and it cost me over $500 that I don’t have, to get it out of tow. Total highway robbery! In the middle of a pandemic where most people are struggling financially. They showed no class, no common courtesy, no benefit of the doubt. Most small businesses tend to be reasonable with honest, respectful people, but not these guys! Had to put it on my credit card because I didn’t have the cash. Don’t do business with them if you can possibly help it. All they care about is squeezing as much money as they can out of you... even if you don’t have it!

Called these guys for a tow and got a lot more than I expected. The dolly they used to tow my truck malfunctioned and dropped my 2019 Chevy Silverado truck 1 block down the road damaging the front fender area. I wanted to rake it to camp Chevrolet to get fixed but Nelson’s refused to pay for the damages. They insisted on fixing it themselves in their collision center. They fixed the damaged areas but had white overspray paint in the wheel well and the power running board they replaced is still crooked.

I dont know where some of the less satisfied reviews come from, but weve been with Nelsons for YEARS, with four different cars now, weve referred my son and my dad to them, and all of us have enjoyed the courtesy of the desk staff, the friendly attitude of the people who listen to your car problems and try to squeeze you in, and above all, the fast and professional service. Repairs have always been effected either the same day of the appointment, or the next, charges have been reliably low, once or twice even below what we expected, and the aspect I appreciate the most is that you can trust Nelsons not to suggest repairs that are not necessary, or to add frivolous frills and charges. They have gone out of their way over the years to accommodate our schedules, theyve helped us after hours and on weekends, they have been patient and friendly with us over small problems and large, and I cant find a single occasion where we have been less than happy with their service, or the quality of their repairs.

Pretty upset... sold a car a couple years ago and turns out the new owner never registered it in their name. Apparently it got towed and impounded and I was still the legal owner. I called and asked how much it would be to get the car out and was told it was in really bad condition and not worth it and was advised to just leave it there. So I just decided to surrender it and asked if I was all good and I wasn’t going to be responsible for it anymore. They told me all was good and that it would be auctioned off. Now 4 months later I get a call from collections saying I have a $1,400 bill for towing and storing fees.. for a vehicle I offered to pick up for MUCH less than this price. Would have been nice to have been told I would be charged at the time I called. Or at least notify me themselves that I owed this money before sending me to collections for something I didn’t even know about...

Had them replace my flywheel on my truck and it makes the same noise when I start it now like the starter is stripping the teeth on the new flywheel I called three times and was supposed to have a manager or someone call me back and no call so I have gave up. And my truck a 79 Chevy (not a super hard vehicle to work on) was with them almost two months I would not recommend them.

Never knew this place was there. Pleasantly surprised by the place. Not your typical auto repair. It reminds me of those shops on the discovery channel. Clean, bright and staffed with friendly and courteous workers.

I’m really not impressed with Nelson’s. I’ve had to return several different times to have things fixed. First they forgot parts for the front end of my car, secondly they never paid attention to the outlets that had a drink spilled in them during the accident (I called them twice to ensure these were checked), and now the Jeep logo is literally sliding off my car and off center. Of course they need to have me bring my car in and have them look at the issue only for me to return later for it to be actually addressed. I would suggest going elsewhere especially if you have a nicer car. When I was in an accident years ago I went to American Way and never had one issue. I only ended up at Nelson’s because my insurance recommended it. Big Mistake.*UPDATE-6 months later we are still having issues with the repairs we received. I had my car taken to American Way and they found several questionable repairs that definitely affected the safety of my vehicle. Stay away from Nelson’s!

Nelsons is the best place to have your vehicle serviced. It is clean, well kept and its prices cant be beat. I had a blower motor replaced for a little over $200.00. Wendle wanted close to $500.00

I have worked with Nelsons for over 15 years and have had exceptional service every time. I first worked with Marty now its Jon as an inside repair contact. Their prices are fair and they do not try to charge you for repairs that are not needed. I know I can give Jon a noise Ive heard problem and he will be honest about the cause and the cost. I live close but they always offer a ride if I need it and will hold people late to help the customer. As for towing they dont charge if you get the repairs done there and I always call my insurance to let them know I will be using Nelsons. Nelsons is always approved by my insurance. My cars have been a 1972 blazer, 1992 G20 Infinity, 1997 Expedition, 1999 Expedition, 1999 Tahoe, 2000 Hyundai accent, and a 2011 Equinox. Just to let everyone know Im a real person I also use Golden rules brakes on the same block (they are a fair and quick break job) along with Cobra Quick (by hand detailing) for car detailing.

Kinda annoyed, a very simple tow from a shop to my house, with a tow truck it should have taken tops 20 minutes and the whole tow took 2 1/2 hours. And the kid showed up with a mouth full of food. I understand that people need dinner but could it not wait till after the job. 2 1/2 hours for a 4 mile drive.

First problem is they sent us a letter in the mail three days after the car was impound that was printed on it to be sent priority 1st class mail no later than 24hrs. Second thing was the car wasnt even ours anymore. It had been a year and register in Idaho but they swore it was last registered to us therefore it was our responsibility. After we paid the their charge for three days even though we showed up there the day we received the letter we had them open the car to find the title and bill of sale in the glove box for its last owners. Now that the office had closed by the time their tow truck drivers got the door open we had to return the next morning to show the car was not ours and get a refund. I went there the next morning when they opened and was assured they were giving a refund and if we didnt get one come back and they would write a check. Spoke with them the next day with no refund in sight and they talked with their people upstairs about making sure we get a refund. Now two days later they charged us again for the full price! They have now charged us twice instead of refunding us! I begin the fraud claims tomorrow morning if they dont correct the issue when I show up. Very poorly managed business cant get their information correct in the first place or uphold their legal requirements requiring timely notification of the owners of the vehicle.

Called for a quote on repair work for my car that was needed according to the dealership. They were very thorough in details to give me an accurate quote including the price of the parts, how long it should take to repair, and thus the approximate total cost. They were able to finish repairs quickly and were flexible with timing for me to drop off and pick up my vehicle. The price was excellent too, about 1/4 of the dealership repair shop for the same job.

Not Good Neighbors.When I moved into my mobile home I noticed a lot of things that they were getting away with that other businesses dont do. They park their cars on Rosewood with the cars facing the wrong way. A lot of speeding in the morning down the street. They leave their shop garage doors open so everyone can hear the pounding, and drilling for blocks. And they have their intercom on loud for blocks.I sent a letter to have these thing addressed. I told him I use to live next to a body shop on Trent for 18 years that turned their inter com down. But the owner told me I should move and nothing is gonna change. I work swing shift and there is no reason why they need it up that loud. Zips doesnt have theirs up that loud.All he could say is weve been here 42 years so we own the area. They turned it down for two weeks and it was great. My landlord told me that they are having trouble renting mobile homes because of the noise. Imagine a person more concerned about their business than being a good neighbor. What we ask isnt much, in fact all other shops do it. If he treats his neighbors, who all dislike him like that, then he probably treats his customers that way too. Im willing to work with him but he is too prideful to listen. I recommend going somewhere else like American Way Body Shop, where they care and listen. And just read all the bad reviews they have.

My review should be NO stars but Google makes you leave at least one star.Towed my daughters car and cost $300 two hours later to get it back. There was no tow signs from where it was towed and it was only there a few hours. It was also not illegally parked. The sad thing about this whole fiasco is that we were a customers of Nelsons and gave them business just 6 months ago to repair this very car after an accident. I just got a quote to have my Nissan repaired there....Nope, not doing it!Never again will I use this facility nor will I recommend it again. One happy customer tells a few people. One Unhappy customer tells many many more.Update: Challenged this in court and was decided in our favor. Cost me $73 to take it to court but worth it in the end. Dont be bullied by tow companies.

Sat for two in a half hours waiting for them. I called twice checking when they might arrive and the woman I talk to said Im working on getting someone out there. I told her both times its a motorcycle. Then a guy calls me and ask what it is that needs towed I tell him it is a MOTORCYCLE. He says oh ok thats what I needed to know. A couple minutes after that my insurance called and said they had to cancel the tow because the company didnt have the right equipment for towing motorcycles. How stupid can you be.

Being a spokane local, it saddens me that the company needs to tow vehicles in the middle of the night as people park in Perkins planning to eat a good meal after a few drinks with friends and family downtown. DISAPPOINTED to see that Nelson’s had towed my vehicle from Perkins parking lot 20 min prior to me coming and grabbing a bite to eat at Perkins. 400$ for 25 min and 1 mile ride up Division, thanks Nelson’s.

I took my car to Nelsons on a recommendation from my insurance company after we got into an accident. I accidentally locked myself out at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. Nick arrived within a half an hour of being called and got us on our way. He was very pleasant and professional. Thank you Nelsons for having such a great person on hand to help those out who need it.

Wow. Very friendly, straightforward, and honest experience every time. Ive only lived in Spokane for a couple of years, and Im lucky I found a place I can trust so much with my car. Very reasonably priced too. Wouldnt go anywhere else. If Nelsons can fix it, theyre always my first choice!

Quick service and nice staff.

They have done great work and been the most honest with me. I have even got a 2nd opinion from them from another auto place and Nelsons was right on. I trusted that they could get the car running for at least a while longer until I could save money for another car but they said the same as the first auto repair place. All in all, I didnt want to replace the motor on my 2000 Honda CR-V so I let them scrap it for me.

Make sure your final estimate is IN WRITING before any repair is made, at least if it is out of pocket. Quoted one price over the phone for a little additional work and when the final bill came together that additional item had more than doubled, without first calling me as it is something that I could have had done cheaper elsewhere. When I called on it the response was, essentially, too bad.

Courteous, professional and very accommodating. Needed accident repair which was completed on time and extremely well done. I highly recommend and would happily use again if the need should ever arise.

Nelsons Auto body did an amazing job taking care of me and my vehicle after a car accident. They completely replaced my front bumper, fixed my hood, and painted it to match my car exactly. The staff was very friendly and helpful and kept me up-to-date on all of the work, plus they gave me options to choose from. A few days after I got my car back, I had two more engine problems that were not related to the accident. They took my car in right away and fixed the problem quickly. Id recommend their services to anyone!

It is like the 4 start postings are employees, family & the owners friends. They make me want way too long when I had other important business to get to. I called in advance and they knew I would be there. Paid cash and had to wait way too long to get my car. Why is that? Because they dont care, period!!! I wont be back for anything else.

Dont take your autos here! After less then 3 years our car, that was repaired by them, is literally falling apart! And, since we have moved out of state, there is no remedy for us to get them to stand behind their work!

Called to get a quick quote at 4:30, 30 min before they close. The lady who answered the phone rudely just TOLD me I was being put on hold, didnt even wait for me to say Yes, just click. Then when she came back was rude sending me to the right place. He was nice and professional, but I didnt get any type of quote, instead just left me sitting here waiting on the call back.Every time I have called them about getting services or a quote, it Never has turned out well. I figured I would give them ANOTHER chance, then the rude- hold, click- I got pissed, but calmed myself hoping it would be better.....but I was left waiting.Third times a charm- I will NEVER go to you, and I will tell everyone about what happened.

This is one of the worst, most predatory and unethical businesses in Spokane. They illegally tow cars and charge the maximum amount allowable by the state. So a 10 mile tow that should have been $150-$175 tops, was over $450. John is extremely rude and unprofessional.

Fixed a ding in my door quickly and professionally. In and out quickly. Very competitive prices. Id use them again without hesitation.

They were polite and quick for helping me find out about my brakes and the price was low compared to other shops.

I called Nelsons Towing to do a Lock Out at Northtown Mall. They said it would be a 1-1/2 before he could get there. He was there in about one hour. Wayne Adams was very nice and professional. Took a look at what happened. He was in the car in about one minute. Helped us jumped start the car. He told me to have a good night. I will call them again for my Towing and lock Out needs.
