Yes-definitely go to Ray & Roys. I was very pleased the first time I went and this is the second time I went to Ray & Roys for an auto repair issue.They explained in detail what was wrong and what could be wrong with my transmission. They fixed what they could based on codes and asked me to hold off on getting deeper into my transmission because they did not want me to have to pay more money than I needed. Really???? have you ever been to an auto repair place that said lets do this and not spend anymore money than you have to? Up to now-I hadnt either. Wow-how refreshing.I very highly recommend Ray & Roys. I completely trust them-YES-you read that correctly. They do quality work and are very quick. I called this place to get a timing chain replaced and the person who I spoke to decided to pass on the job - now, this may sound like a negative review, but his reasoning was that getting the parts together to fix my car would cost me more in the long run and that it was probably more worth it to go straight to the dealer. That kind of upfront-ness is a rare quality in a business, especially in the field of auto repair. He couldve just taken the extra money and run and me, being completely brainless when it comes to cars, wouldnt have been any wiser. I appreciate the honesty and Ill be back for work thatll hopefully be easier for them to fix.

I recently moved to the area and have had a hard time finding any shop that I can call mine, where I feel a great deal of trust. Thank you Sean for your friendly demeanor, being able to fit me in promptly, and even staying after close because I was running late to pick up my vehicle! I couldn’t be happier with the solution you found, in order to get my alignment completely back to normal. On top of that, you and your professional team had the integrity and willingness to do so without replacing any suspension parts, like I was told by another shop I’d have to have done for a good alignment. Due to your attention to detail, you also found a very critical bolt in my suspension, that was placed backwards by the last shop who replaced my strut. In only one day, I was back on the road and driving all back in alignment, steering straight and more smoothly than it has for over a year. What a relief! I worried about this for months before finding the right shop, and I’ll be sticking with you guys. I highly recommend anyone looking for an honest, trustworthy, professional, and expert service, to bring your vehicles here.

Ray and Roys is one of the finest repair shops in Spokane. Between my parents and I, we have been taking our vehicles there for over 75 years. I dont even consider going somewhere else. I highly recommend them anytime someone asks me where they should take their vehicle.

I had no heat, They changed the heater core and other repairs so that my heater works now. They are amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure that my Ram 1500 has a heater that works. I will use them again when my truck or car needs help. They are really nice as well. They tell you like it is, no BSing and they are true to there word. I like that. You cannot find people or business that tell you the truth any more and they will tell you how it is.

Very friendly, honest, and understanding and took the time to quickly explain in detail what my vehicles problem was. (99 expedition with over 250k miles) Their rate is a pretty penny, but their work is through. MUCH better than a jiffy lube, or any other auto repair chain.

Im from Montana and my work brought me to Spokane Valley. One evening I noticed a nasty rotational growl coming from the front-end of my Silverado. Having been an auto technician and then service advisor in my younger years, I recognized I was nearing a catastrophic failure in my right front wheel bearing. Most shops are a week behind or more due to the industry technician shortage so I was preparing to have to leave the truck and rent a car to get home. Where I live, I have most of my work done at the dealership, but found very mixed internet reviews on the one in Spokane Valley. Looking further, I found many positive reviews about Ray & Roys and noted theyre a second-generation shop so decided to call first thing at 7am the next morning. When hearing my situation, Manager Shawn moved their busy schedule around and invited me to come at once. Fearing I may not make it across the Valley, he had two good towing companies a phone call away if needed. Fortunately, I was able to limp in to the shop., where Shawn offered coffee, gave me their Wi-Fi password and turned the heat up in the waiting area. Their technician quickly confirmed the problem was a wheel bearing failure and Shawn reviewed my options for either an American or Chinese-built hub assembly. I was back in the road in a couple hours and at a fair price! I heartily recommend this business!

Very rude and unprofessional. Was recommended to go here, this was a mistake.The windows in our vehicle would not roll up or down. They kept the car for 9 hours to diagnose the issue with a $75 diagnostic fee which was disclosed upfront. They wanted to charge $340 to replace a motor part on the drivers side only. We wanted to take the vehicle elsewhere for a second opinion, but the windows were rolled down. We asked they assist with rolling the windows back up. We were confronted with a very negative attitude. We also noticed part of the door had a loose panel with loose wiring. We confronted them about this issue, and the result was very rude, unprofessional and hostile behavior. These guys are great as long as you give them money, and we understand theyre trying to run a business. But as soon as you tell them no, watch out. They will not return your vehicle in the condition it was brought to them.Edit to the response: we tried to discuss this with your mechanic in person on site and was greeted with aggressive behavior and slammed office door.When a customer (whose already paying $75 for a diagnostic) decides to not have work done at your shop, at least have the decency to return the vehicle back in the same condition it was brought in.We werent asking you to wash and wax the car, but it wouldve been nice to have it returned the way we left it.The window hasnt been rolling down since October, and your diagnosis is, in our opinion, inaccurate.We brought the car in with an intact door panel and the windows rolled up. We left with a busted door panel, loose wiring and windows rolled down which cant go back up.We dont drive around town with loose wiring in the drivers side door.Yet again, you refuse to accept responsibility for your actions. Glad its out here for the public to see

We are about 10 hrs away from home, my battery light kept coming on, I called and talked to Shawn on the phone. He was great, even though he was booked out for 2 weeks he had me come by the shop so he could run some diagnostics. I ended up needing a new alternator, he was amazing and moved some stuff around to see what he could get done for me. He said he might need my car for a couple of days to get it done, because my alternator is in a real pain in the butt area! He had it in and out the same day!!I was very impressed with Shawn, he was very personable, knowledgeable, and gets the job done! I would definitely recommend this shop. If Im ever back in Spokane and need a mechanic shop this is the one! Thank you Ray & Roys Repair, and thanks to Shawn, everything you did to help us was greatly appreciated!

Their prices are reasonable and they are quickly done with the work and complete the task that I agreed about with them. They also clean up any mess, if they even made one so when I take possession of my truck I realize it is cleaner than when I gave it to them.

I was in an extremely tight spot in life and when things got worse my car broke down.It started with the tow truck guy who recommended me to Ray & Roys and the instant I walked in the door they seemed so caring and willing to help. Because they understand. They have been there and they know what you are feeling. Ive never seen that in a business or even often in people. They had my car fixed in a day and assisted me in other ways I cant begin to describe. We took our Pacifica to Ray and Roys for a Check Engine light that correlated with our gas tank and gauge somehow. They hadnt seen this problem before and took the time to assess and problem solve. They kept us in the loop during the process and charged us only the suggested rate - not the total hours they had invested in finding and fixing the problem. We have complete trust in this auto repair shop. Always courteous and upfront. We HIGHLY recommend Ray and Roys! Over and over again!

I went to the shop for repairs on my ac system and to have a leaking/noisy water pump replaced. The work was completed and everything works as expected. Staff was polite and helpful, the shop was clean, although all the work bays were in use. I will continue to bring my vehicles to this shop.

DO NOT GO HERE! Asked for estimate, got car returned leaking fluids, dead battery, pieces of the interior were ripped off and left off, stereo turned up to max, dipsticks pulled out on motor. Overall better to go anywhere else except here. The manager shawn is a young inexperianced moron. Waiting to see what damage they caused and sue them. They most likely have only people they know go there. Anyone new will get ripped off. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS RIPOFF

I came in 30 minutes before they closed. All their bays were full and they had a line. Even though they were extremely busy a tech came outside, scanned my vehicle and even pointed out which cylinder was misfiring. I couldnt believe how helpful they were. I know where I will be taking my vehicle when I need repairs.

My in-laws had me and my wife take our car to this place to have a thermostat issue looked at they took care of that everything was fine for a while then when it was time for a tune-up they had us go in again and have it taken care of they did the tune up found out there was supposedly other things wrong like a broken motor mount so they supposedly fix that but now we have other issues that we didnt have before we took it back in to have them fix it they said they fixed it and were still having this problem this is screwing us over we need two vehicles not one this place is a joke do not ever go to this place they will say they fix an issue the issue comes back just so you can go back in and they can charge you more places like this are a big fat joke
