I brought my car in to be repaired after it developed a noticeable knocking noise when decelerating. They were able to reproduce the noise and quickly discovered the issue - the other shop I used for brake work didnt tighten my lug nuts down securely and they were coming loose on one wheel. They easily fixed that at minimal cost (new lug nut as one was missing). They were honest, warm, and welcoming. They earned my business going forward based upon this experience as well as the positive reviews from other family members who have used them. Highly recommend.

Lloyds was extremely professional, friendly, and prompt. They even provided transport for me back to my home and picked me up when my car was ready. They finished the work in 4 hours. It was much cheaper and less hassle than taking my car to the dealer for servicing.

I suspected I needed a new Thermostat. They diagnosed my problem, identified other small issues accurately and had it fixed quickly. Very professional and they did a very good job explaining everything to me. The price was reasonable for the amount of wok I had done on my cooling system. I had a very good experience with them and highly recommend them!

My wife and I have had bad luck with our cars over the last couple of months. For each repair, we have taken our car into Lloyds on the South Hill and couldnt be happier with our experience. I thought it was great! Although I do feel like the wait time for an oil change was a little long. I waited 2 hours (although I was 15 minutes early). Their waiting room was good though! Comfy place to wait while they do work on your car.

I had a heater problem, took my 2007 GMC pickup to them. They were not able to make the truck not heat. It is working fine, I guess they scared it. Was charged for the techs time, minimum charge. We will probably change repair companies. Theyre great 👍

I’ve been in a few times over the past few months and every time I’ve called, they’ve answered quickly and with a friendly and professional attitude and were happy to answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend Lloyds to anyone who owns a vehicle and wants to feel like the person fixing their car is going to to it right and fast at a good price. $115.14 unadvertised diagnostic fee. Drove my car 25 miles to tell me that they couldnt recreate the problem. The mechanics seemed like nice guys. Absolutely predatory diagnostic price--steer clear if you can (or moreover cant) afford it!One star for not charging me this fee after I complained to the front of house, making this a two star business.

I’ve only been here 2 times and both times I didn’t even need to go in. I had a question with my engine and asked them if they could do it and they were honest and said it’s pretty easy to do by yourself and you’ll save some money and they told me what I needed and I did it by myself pretty easy. Another time I asked them, just recently, about my ABS light coming on in the winter. It wouldn’t go off then it finally did right when I got there and my manual said to still get it checked and I was going to do that. Told them everything that happened and they said “well it looks like the system reset itself. I would hate to have you waste $50-$60 just for us to find nothing.” I believe they are a genuine company that I can go to and they will have the best interest for me.

I went into Lloyd’s on the South Hill this morning and just recently picked my car up. To start, I had scheduled an appointment the day prior and had to cancel, which they were more than understanding about. I then rescheduled for this morning and was able to get in on time for a simple brake inspection. Going in, I knew there may be a lot of things wrong with my car and I was right. Throughout my time in the lobby I asked multiple questions that Matt, the manager, answered and had no problem doing so. More questions then arose when my cars problems were apparent in the shop and having little knowledge on cars, both Matt and Will brought me into the shop and physically showed me exactly what was wrong and said it in a way that I could understand. I decided to have my car stay in the shop the entire day to get worked on and they were more than happy to offer me a ride to my home. Throughout the day Matt called me and updated me on the car and the amount it would cost to fix it. Lastly, when I went to pick up my car they still answered my questions. I highly appreciated their kindness, great service, and honesty. I will continue to go to them, will recommend them to my friends and family, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a local shop with great service, thank you.

My brake line broke Friday afternoon after work. I was concerned that I wouldnt be able to drive anywhere safely and didnt want to leave my car at work overnight. A quick search online and I found Lloyds Automotive was still open. I immediately drove over (I still had enough brake fluid to drive safely), got my car evaluated and checked in. Later that evening I received a call to let me know what they had found (rubber lines were broken down and should be replaced, brake pads were worn out and also needed to be replaced). Maria gave me several options and discussed the risks of each option and an estimate of what it would cost. Monday Maria called me to let me know my car was repaired and ready for pickup. When I arrived Maria let me know how to drive my car and what to expect until the new brakes were broken in. Im so glad that Lloyds was nearby and available. Ive finally found a mechanic that I can trust!

Be careful, these guys make money on parts. I called to get a quote on labor with my own parts(obviously no warranty) on their invoice for diagnosis it days 2 times they accept customer supplied parts but there will be no warranty. I just suggest to do some price checking- also dont tell them what other quotes were as I made the mistake and at first 1200 then quote went up to 1500. I dont know overall they are nice I would just say be cautious.

The crew were awesome! I was traveling through from Colorado when my truck starting making a horrible noise. This was on a Sunday evening. I stayed the night and needed a repair. Monday morning, even though they were booked, they squeezed me in, diagnosed the issue as a bad wheel bearing, informed me and had it fixed in about 4 hours total! I cant thank Matt and the gang enough. Highly recommended repair shop.

Best place I have ever had the pleasure of working with regarding my vehicle. Sure theyre a little more expensive but they get it right the first time so its worth it. They have never tried to take advantage of me in the 3 years Ive been going there. Lloyds will have my business as long as I live in the Spokane area.

The priceses where reasonable, they let us know everything before they went and fixed it, they were timely, and they seemed like all around trustworthy and nice guys. They are definitely our go to mechanic shop.

We had a very pleasant experience at the south hill location. I had come after hours to drop off my truck for the next morning and as I was getting into my other car to leave one of the staff came running out to help!! They put my truck in the back right then and there and got me all signed in for tomorrow.I have an older vehicle and before they started the work they suggested making sure that would fix the problem. This impressed us greatly because most places would take our money and be happy to send us on our way. They went above and beyond to take care of us and our truck. I will be going back to this Lloyds automotive with any car repairs in the future and I will recommend them to anyone in need of honest repair! Thank you Lloyds for being awesome!!

Loyds on the South Hill did some work on my car and I was very satisfied with the work that was done. Josh was very kind and helpful explaining what was wrong with my car. I will be using Loyds again the next time I need work done.

A bit pricey but fast service!

They told me that my car needed front struts and rear shocks replaced for a total of about $1500.I called another mechanic for a 2nd opinion, they ordered those parts just in case I did need them, plus it would have cost me $750 for the same parts and service.Upon inspection of my car, they told me that my struts and shocks were in perfect condition and not anywhere close to needing replacement.They had seen others who were told by Lloyds that they needed struts and shocks replaced, but could find no evidence of wear on those parts.I will never take my car to Lloyds again.

They were pretty friendly and had good customer service but their prices were way too high. I could have saved quite a bit of money going elsewhere!

Charged my buddy 50 bucks and didnt even get the window up.. I seriously wish I had charged him 25 and just kept trying, because gobs of my time and gas was wasted during the ordeal and nothing was done!!!!

Ive had several things done at Lloyds. The people are nice enough, but they are expensive and shoddy. Had a clutch replaced and they had to redo it twice, and its still not right. Really glad I found another shop thats good, honest and say cheaper.

Did shoddy job on my BMW x5, charged way to much for such a sloppy job. They left screw out of parts they replaced and did not fix it properly. I cant say I get what I paid for because they would false since I was charged like they were BMW certified mechanic s but from here on out I will take it to a REAL BMW certified mechanic who not only take pride in their work but care about the consumers safety and the safety of others when that vehicle leaves their shop.

Good costumer service and good work but for their prices, I might as well had gotten the service done at a dealership. So if you want to save money, you should probably look somewhere else first, I know I will.

I will never go there again. They charged me $117 just for a diagnostic. They saw me coming. They wanted to charge me $750.00 to replace a valve gasket. I said no way!

I brought my truck in to fix my hood, and they did so much more for me and the price was just right.

I had an alternator fail in my car. I was ready to go to the dealership and pay $$ for a new one. I was at ORileys and they told me that they had a rebuilt alternator with a lifetime warranty and that Lloyds would install it. I called Lloyds, on the day before Thanksgiving, and they were awesome to work with. Shop rate was 90 an hour, they charged me book time, they were willing to use the refurb part that i wanted, and they put a 3 year warranty on their labor. All in all it was half the price of the dealership, and they got it all done immediately when they were booked to wednesday because they had time to fit it in between jobs. Not a whole lot more you can ask for. 90 shop rate is reasonable but on the spendy side, so 4 stars there, but reliable, fast, and easy to work with. I tecommend them.

My tire was making an awful thumping noise. Turns out the place that put him on didnt tighten my lug nuts all the way. 1 was almost off, Lloyds tighten them for me and sent me on my way with no charge.... highly recommend Lloyds Automotive
