I called the day of and they told me they were full up but would put me on a waitlist in case anyone canceled. I got a call less than an hour later asking me to come in right away. I really appreciated this cause I live an hour away and it would have been difficult for me to come in another day. They did a fabulous job! Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

This place was the worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon. We were passing through and I wanted to get new Acrylic nails, a manicure and pedicure since we were meeting friends. I convinced my husband to get a pedicure because his feet are horrible. He has never had one and didn’t want one at all . But after lots of pressure he gave in. I was hoping it would have been a great experience and he would do it again. The complete opposite. The sat him in the chair and didn’t explain the message feature and the lady assigned to him was a complete b—-ch. you could tell she didn’t want to be there. She did a hurry up job. You could tell he wasn’t happy and was looking at me (I was in the chair next to him) like “what’s the big deal about this”. He was generous in giving her any tip at all.The girl I had did my nails, but the manicure was hardly a manicure . It took her about ten minutes. The pedicure was the same as my husbands. Not good at all. I still had rough spots and my feet didn’t feel soft at all. Two days later two of my nails came off. I call the business on a Friday to have them replaced. They couldn’t get me in till Monday. Monday they call and said the two girls that do nails aren’t in. I asked about Tuesday morning ( we were leaving on Tuesday) The manager/owner stated they wouldn’t be in them either. Their prices were the same as any nail salon, but the service is way below par. Stay away.

Absolutely love K Nails & Beauty Bar. They always do an amazing job! Much better than other places Ive been! Ive been a consistent customer since they opened and have no plans of going anywhere else. Locally (Spearfish) owned small business!

This place gives a very nice pedicure BUT its pricey for the works ... but its great! 4 of us had reservations and we were all done within minutes of each other. You can even get a complementary glass of wine.

They offer a complimentary drink including wine with their services. They also offer extended massage for their pedicure including reflexology techniques. There are also varying degrees of pedicures available with added features depending on what you want to experience. The environment is very clean and sterile. They go out of their way to provide you with a friendly, family like experience. They also appreciate the fact that you chose them to provide you with an experience that will make you want to come back to see them again.

Nails were done very poorly and were also very overpriced. customer service was also bad. would not recommend. none of the nail technicians knew what they were doing. absolutely unacceptable. all my nails are different shapes and sizes, as well for the color being inaccurate. if i could give negative stars, i would with no hesitation.

Review for myHorrible a nightmare!I would give it less than one start if i could!!! The worst nail experienced. First of all, the guy kept calling me like 5 times late hours. Had my service done, it was horrible * bumpy and loft sided over booked and wait more than 30 mins, wasted my time. Plus the jet wasnt sanitized and cleaned plus they reused it after each customer and the callus remover the foot file. Over all the shop is dirty, they yelled or talk loud in vietnamese, not sure if they trash talks about customers or what but sure sound like it.Someone need to report them to S.D Cosmetology.

I would not recommend there is one girl there who does amazing acrylics but other than that its a big no from me. Pedicure was the worst experience I have had at a nail salon. It was clear they were over booked we had like 4 different people ask us all the questions and then they got confused and we had to repeat ourselves multiple times. I was charged for a higher package without being asked if I wanted the higher package. The color on my big toe is uneven and you can tell it didnt get gone over thoroughly. My other big toe is all bumpy because its clear they painted over some type of particle. I still have chunks of cuticle that they didnt remove fully hanging from the side of my nails.The dude my friend had also put her in a higher package and then was upset when she said she wanted the smallest package because he had already added a foot bomb and then was very rude to her the rest of the visit. We normally go to mimosa but decided to try them out since they had done such a great job with our acrylics I definitely will not ever go back for a pedicure again. Very uncomfortable and not a relaxing experience at all which sucks being I spent $100 for it.

They always treat you like you are special. I have always had a wonderful experience with my pedicures.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary, to enjoy a pedicure and manicure together. Once inside the establishment, I was impressed with the professional, friendly environment, and greetings by the staff.We also found the experience top notch, in every way possible. Pedicures, and manicures were very professional, and relaxing. The technicians were very friendly, and provided both a pleasing and memorable experience.It is also worth mentioning that K Nails & Beauty Bar offers a very wide range of services, and different care packages, depending on what you might have in mind.Next year we will definitely be coming back to enjoy more of their quality work, and friendly staff.

The first time I went was a pretty good experience. I did feel a bit pushed to upgrade to higher cost service, but i though what the hell Ill go for it. Had a good technician and overall a good experience. The second time I went....not good. Had to wait 20 minutes to be served, insisted I wanted the traditional pedicure and was over pushed to choose the signature delux summer pedicure (which was like $100) and the shelac only lasted a week. Poor quality of service, didnt get my neck wrap till over halfway through, and was not comfortable. Overpriced, felt like I was pushed into doing things I didnt really want so they could make more money, and ended up having to get it redone a week and a half later elsewhere for less than half the price and that one lasted 7 weeks! I will not be returning to K Nails.

I started going to K Nails about a year ago. It is such a clean and wonderful atmosphere. I finally found my girl who does the best job with gel manicures, her name is Rachel. They always offer water or some other drink choice. Their prices are a little higher than other places in town, but for the amazing job and the hospitality it is worth it!

This review is for my boss PorscheThis was my second visit to K Nails. The first time was not the best, but figured it was an off day or something so I tried it again. IT WAS SO MUCH WORSE! My mother and I had appointments scheduled for manicures. They called me and asked if wed like to come in 30 minutes earlier because they had some time, so we gladly agreed and hopped in the car right away to get there. We sat in their waiting corner for over 50 minutes!They asked us to pick our colors while we waited and showed us their very unorganized and cluttered basket of gel nail colors we could choose from. With all the spare time we had waiting, we looked through all of them and chose coordinating colors with each other! When they finally called us to the table in a rush, we each showed them our choices and they said oh no, thats a dip, not a gel. My moms choice they snatched from her and said that that type of polish isnt really working well right now, and rushed both of us to quickly pick out new colors. I set our 2 choices at the front desk and said since they arent actually available options we would keep them out of their basket so someone else didnt make the same mistake. They laughed and put them back in the basket.The color thing isnt the end of the world, so didnt let it faze me at first. It got so much worse.The place is FILTHY! Im not a clean freak by any stretch of the imagination. In fact its usually the last thing I notice, and Ive never in my life left a review of a place that even mentioned the level of cleanliness. But this was like... Report it the board level dirty. The hand towel that my person was using on me was stiff from so many uses and had MOLD on it, I had to ask him to use a new one. There are half empty old boxes of things all over the store, trash spilled everywhere. Nail tips and clippings that you walk on with every step. Piles of dirty towels, empty bottles of lotion, open food piled all around (to the point that it made it difficult to squeeze into our little table area).The whole place was so hot, too.Extension cords running all over with 5 and more items plugged into them in huge jumbled messes of cords and wires, sitting right on the manicure tables.The water they used to soak our hands (for 10 seconds) was freezing cold and was sitting there already when we sat down. It was the most rushed and uncomfortable manicure experience ever. It was also very painful as my guy was rough with the file and cuticle clippers, and even when he slapped some greasy slimy lotion on my hands, his own hands were so rough that they scratched my arms!He and my moms person kept talking over us (literally) and around us to each other in Vietnamese, the entire time.The nail job itself was also mediocre, at best.Everything in there felt too dirty to touch, unfriendly employees, and the prices were outrageous for the quality of service.My mother and I travel all over the place, have had Manis and pedis in so many types of locations with different experiences, and we always just disregard the few negative experiences weve had since the most important part is us spending time together and doing a special thing. This is the first time both of us have felt inclined to leave a negative review - ever!!! We came from Denver and we dont even pay as much as for premium level Manis in DENVER, as what they charged us in here, in Spearfish.We will absolutely be taking our business elsewhere, and we both plan on reporting them to the BBB and health board, as well.I felt stressed and dirty walking out of there, and will make it a point to tell everyone that I know here to stay far away from this place

They were so disrespectful towards my party and I. None the less we were all quite displeased with outcome of our nails, they were not clean at all. The owner was incredibly rude to me when I had tried to get them redone (due to the fact that they were not done the right way). Vulgar tones were the most untasteful part of the whole thing.

Ive searched all over Spearfish trying to find a spot to be my regular nail salon, and this place is by far the winner. Everyone is so friendly, the prices are fair, and they always work with my schedule. Im only sad that I didnt go here sooner! Definutely recommend to anyone in the area.

I like going here. They are friendly and do a great job on polish/gel. A few things I wish were better: they are always overbooking. Sometimes, I end up waiting well over my appointment time. I make an appointment because I only have a limited amount of time. Last time I waited 40 minutes past my appointment. They answer the phone and help walkins in the middle of my service. Constantly. They would benefit from a receptionist and the clients would be better served. It could use a good cleaning everyday. Sneeze guards were really dirty at 9am, lots of clutter all over stations. I dont like the tag team: one time 3 different people did my pedicure! Why?I like them, they are good people, the prices arent bad ... but I had hoped for a more personal experience. Ive been 6 times, each time is like this.

When I can to get my nails done for acrylic nails, my technician said somethings that bothered me. You could tell she was just done with doing nails for the day... but I broke a nail and she was trying to fix it. Ripped it off then started doing the nails. She was kinda rude at the end and said “ don’t break your nails okay “ and I told her that things happened and I can’t prevent a nail from breaking. I’m happy with m nails. I do think she could have put more work into making my nails straighter and all around more better and having more customer service. People have bad days I get it. But you should leave it out the door.

Took 3 hours to do my nails. The shapes of the acylic on the nail is terrible, overly priced. I came in with a photo of what I wanted and didnt tell me then a few nails would cost more, they waited till they already started the nails.

Horrible place, will never go back... the guy was nice but the person who did my nails was awful I’ve never had in my 7/8 years of getting my nails done have seen anyone do it like that and have it be that painful. not to mention the 4 hours it took.

My bridal party of 8 had manis and pedis done September 4th, 2020 at K nails & beauty bar. Overall we had a good experience. We were warmly welcomed and offered complimentary drinks. I had a gel manicure done and it was the BEST manicure I have ever had. My nails were perfect and the lady who did my nails listened exactly to how I wanted my nails shaped. I did end up with a little blemish on one nail and she immediately took care of the issue with no problems. Another bridesmaid felt her gel manicure done by a different lady wasnt thick enough and when she brought up her concern it was kindly taken care of. One issue we had was one of my ladies was mid-pedicure when her person had to leave urgently from the salon which left her waiting for a while to get her nails done. This place was clean and beautiful but the prices were a little on the more expensive side.

These people are the best. They took their time and really made me feel like they cared. It was a wonderful experience and the best pedicure and foot massage Ive ever had.

This is my new favorite nail salon in the area because of the calm and relaxing spa environment and friendly technicians that are highly skilled in dip powder. I get pedicures done here too. There are several organic packages and you can enjoy mimosas and wine! K Nails & Beauty Bar will not disappoint.

Paid over $110 for a gel pedi and mani on natural nails and both services were terrible. Polish lasted maybe a week because the gel was on my skin. Staff were not wearing masks (which is preference, but just a heads up). The guy who did my pedicure was hitting on me the whole time.. even after I made it clear to stop and clearly had headphones in 🙄 (not relaxing). Very disappointed and will not be going back.

I made a appointment and was 15 mins early, they over booked, and now I’m 64 mins past my appointment! The interior is beautiful inside it seems clean, however they way over book and then when you wait an hour they want to give you 20% off to stay, which equals about $8 off maybe. Will not recommend if your time is valuable and don’t wanna sit all day!
