We went to breakfast there when we came to Reno for Hot August nights. My omelet was delicious and I was enjoying it until I found a wad of hair in it. My waiter was devastated a immediately took it straight to the manager who immediately grabbed my plate and took it in the back. She came back a few minutes later trying to tell me it was just a leaf from my mushrooms. For those that might not know mushrooms dont have leaves and then she tried to make it better by offering me more food. I will never go back there again.

Edited 8/8 -- 12 Sat/Sun... Aka freeplay night... System goes, service desk closed, nobody can print a card... Seems like this happens a lot... Why is it they can keep staff at night ... or just close the whole place...but then, where would i go to have people ask me for cigarettes and money - and thats just the slot techs and cocktail waitresses. Per Greg, Casino Manager, they are too busy to worry about customers and they are changing fees for card reprints soo.

Had a great time in Baldinis. The people are nice and the place is very clean. The best server on your staff is Carlos. He is very friendly and pleasant to be around . Knows his stuff .He is definitely management material.

Came here to eat and they refused service because we had a 16 year old with us. Said no one can even eat in the restaurant unless they are 21 because we were going to leave our kid in there while we would gamble. Place was low rent anyways. Just lured us in with a cheap steak and shrimp dinner. I even called ahead to ask about the restaurant and not one person said anything about no children. Guess they are not hurting for the business. Never again. BTW. 12 people in our party.

We spent the night in our motorhome in their packing lot. Nice and quiet. You need a permit for one night. It is free when you get 500 points on your players card. You must have one or they will ask you to leave about 10pm. Very pleasant people and great prime rib for $13.99, 11oz.

Get the players card, once a week when you spend $1 you get $10 of free play. I went to the restaurant and got a burger basket and soda for only $3.01! The food here is good and has really cheap prices! Everybody is nice and clean. No shady characters hanging around.

Baldinis has the best priced Burger and fries basket. It is very affordable and delicious. remember to tip the cooks. they work hard behind the line and in full view of the public. Baldinis one of my favorite places to be!

Came in to eat with the kids and they refused to serve us because we brought the kids with us. Said they wouldnt serve us with the kids because they thought we had the intention of leaving the kids in the restaurant and going to gamble. NOT family friendly and low rent establishment!! I love how they give back to the locals more than any other casino in the Reno and Sparks area. They can be a little better with there customer service when in regards to security and how they deal with things being stolen from there. My bike was on the rack right up front and locked up. It was stolen off the rack and when I told security about it they told me that they dont have cameras there because it was too dark and didnt even take an incident report or document anything at all. They simply replied we can call the police.for.you and thats all we can do. Well wouldnt you need an incident report from the casino to collaborate with this police report I need to make for a $1500 bike stolen off your property. I mean they dont even patrol outside on the premisses. Thats why I am only Rating 3 Stars. I feel that the Customer needs to feel safe as well as their comfort level needs to be satisfied to know that while we are spending money in your establishment, you have our best interests in mind. And safety and security is a huge one for me. And I know I can speak for at least 100 other members. Thank you for your time. When I see a change Ill change my review as well.

This place USED to be a hit and my family has been customers forever until recently they decided to become an Adult Only Club. Restaurant refused to service us because we had our 2yr old son. This casino is a joke and probably the worst in Reno.

Definitely visit their Empire Cafe. Delicious food for bargain prices. The employees are the friendliest in town and treat you like family.

Just found out they dont allow anyone under 21yrs old in the entire casino even restaurants. They said they changed it about 3 months ago. Why would they do that? With COVID restrictions wouldnt you think they need that extra money coming in. Its their choice obviously but as a long time resident here, I dont get it. Good luck with that change. Security guy with long white beard was very nice and kind though.

Went to take my son out to dinner because he’s always loved their steaks in the restaurant. Got inside and they asked if my 16 yr old was over 21. They no longer allow anyone to EAT at their establishment if you’re under 21. I think that’s total bull and ridiculous

Smallest desserts ever. Paid $5.00 each for two desserts. Both were smaller than a players club card. Thought it was a gag at first. Joke was on us... That was the size. (After this post I was contacted by the GM of the casino. He was very nice and informed me the product was not up to their standards, and he would be replacing them immediately. They lost a forever customer! This is my favorite place to eat however after waiting 30 minutes when they told me it would be a 20 minute wait they informed me children are not allowed in the casino or restaurant. WHY couldnt they tell me when I 1st put my name on the waiting list. I come visit Reno with my children but if they not allowed in the restaurant then this restaurant will no longer be getting my money and Ive told a lot of people about this place and how amazing their food & service is THEY LOST A LOT OF BUSINESS I will be telling EVERYONE my horrible experience hopefully they will be able to survive this pandemic

Speaking as one of your senior cliental, Im glade that you still have some of our older favorite gaming machines. The tendency to move to the newer video games by a lot of the small casinos is not looking out for there senior customers. We have visited your location ever since the Shy Clown was the name there and it is because you continue to use older games, it is why we keep coming there. The newer games are fun to play but, honestly, even though it shows one cent play, it is really a dollar game if you play max coins.Now to the reason for only three stars. Your restaurant and coffee shop has in my opinion gone down hill. We know that The Empire Restaurant isnt a steakhouse but, we feel that putting more money in to quality food and more efficient help, would be better spent. Instead, there seems to be a microbrewery in the works. I hope that it will have the food and service that the Empire used to have.

Baldinis is a small but decent casino has most games and some old school one you cant find anymore. Most ppl are friendly but there are some that will either forget you and our acknowledge you ( the 3 star rating ).. Foods good and have really good prices.they also have daily and weekly giveaways

We like coming in to enjoy a burger. Food is always good. Today, as we went to sit down to enjoy our meal, EVERY table was dirty, incl the seats and under/around the tables. We were shocked due to the covid and sanitizing crisis we are all having to deal with right now. We wiped our table with a handi wipe before sitting down. My working at another casino myself, our tables, seats, and such are sanitized constantly after guests leave the tables and or slot games.

Empire Diner is good and very inexpensive. The food is typical diner cuisine and mostly made from prepackaged products. Having stated that, nothing tasted bad, on the contrary, everything but the side of veggies was darn good. The veggies were mushy.

They dont allow families with minors into the casino even if trying to dine at empire Cafe...

Ive never had a good experience at Baldinis. Today, both cocktail waitresses were snotty and refused to give me a bottle of water, even though they were right by the bar. I know the bar cant serve drinks because of Covid-19, but neither cocktail waitress was behind the bar. Also, my friend asked the staff at the players club counter to make an announcement about a dog that was locked inside a minivan that was directly parked in sunlight, with only one window down halfway. They said they would. We waited fifteen minutes and no announcement was made so we went back up and talked to Silver Fox, the guy that does all of the drawings, and explained to him what happened and asked if he would make an announcement. His response was less than acceptable. He said, I will make an announcement...AFTER the drawing. Maybe hes not familiar with death or how being locked in a car when its 93° outside can kill you, but it seems like he didnt care. So, in conclusion, this casino is not customer centric, nor do they care about the welfare of living creatures that cannot help themselves. Theyre too worried about making money.August 30, 2020 EDIT: I just left Baldinis and once again, I am not only disappointed and frustrated with the lack of courtesy and manners, but actually concerned. Ive never left a casino feeling so vulnerable and unsafe. My boyfriend and I entered the casino through the doors opposite the cashier cage. When I went to trade in my coins for a dollar, the cashier man made the transaction SO uncomfortable. And when he went to give me the dollar, he decided to set it down on the counter in front of the register to his right....and then proceeded to just stare at me when I said thank you. If that hadnt been weird enough, fifteen minutes later, my boyfriend comes to me and tells me that when he went to get a players card printed out, the cashier decided to lecture him about the hours in which a players card can be printed. He explained that it was not his job and that my friend had to wait until six. Then, he told my boyfriend this; you tell your little friend that if he wants a players card, he has to wait until six. Im not sure how he even knew we were there together, considering we never walked by him together....a few minutes later, my boyfriend stopped and asked another employee about printing a players card. This employee looked like he had been heavily sedated, as his response was barely audible and his eyes were barely open. I dont know what is going on at the casino, but I feel like because I left a negative review last time, Im now know there...

I use to gamble there but not anymore. One of your cooks at the brickyard yelled at me for watching him make my food. I didnt even do anything and he started becoming very rude to me. Customer service is not a thing at the brickyard.

Since the corona shutdown prices have gone up in the roundabout. The food has always been worth it for the price. Buy a burger or two and drink a couple beers. Now there’s no real reason to come around. It’s a shame I’ve been coming here for 11 years- since I was a teen sneaking in to buy food. Guess that’s America. Prices increase, wages stagnate.Edit, also the fries are even more undercooked now. I didn’t think that was possible without microwaving.

Baldinis has always been a very warm, welcoming, ACTIVE casino. The employees are always beyond friendly, helpful, and most times damn fun to chat with for a few every now and then.Now, if those slots they have would be as friendly as the employees arena, this lady would want for nothing.... Well another cpl ice cold Coronas, yep thatll do the trick...

Stay away from Baldinis until they get back in the flow. Card readers arent working, employees including managers are frustrated and not very responsive. Their opening day was the worst gambling experience I have ever had in Reno. Im going to give them some time and try again 😂. When they are on point its at the top of my list of places to eat drink and gamble in Reno.

I am a long time player at Baldinis and I like to play there. I spend alot of money there. There are definitely some things they need to fix. Was playing the other night and had reached the 1000 points needed to swipe my card for rewards. But when I slid my card all my points were gone because it was 12:04, but I had been playing for hours. And I cant remember the last time my name was called for a drawing or a hot seat. Over a year ago.

Although the casino floor is not very big, it has a great selection of games to choose from! The bartenders and waitresses are fast and friendly and for the most part I have better luck here then most of the other casinos I visit!

I understand this covid bs Baldinis is one Casino that takes initiative to keep there place pretty well clean unlike one of the other local places in town they make sure you have your mask on as required by the state. They dont show the pick and choose stand that one place in particular shows. All and all they try there best to stay ontop of cleaning and wiping down there machine. I will return there rather then most the other local casino. Dont go downtown give Baldinis a try.

I had the most unpleasant time here today. My brother came down for a visit and we decided to come here to eat at the restaurant. Big mistake. First off, NOT A FAMILY place. Dont bring your kids here to eat unless you want to fight security for trying to grab your kids. This is the experience I had. I took the kids to sit down at the table while everyone else ordered their food. About 15 minutes later, this stupid, arrogant security guard walked up and grabbed the kids by their arm and told me they were not allowed in there. Mind you, I have been bringing in my little one every week when I cash my check, to eat and I have never been told this. So I snatched them back and nutted up on him. The kids never left my side, they werent being obnoxious or anything like that. Just sitting with me and asking about the lights on the machines. So, after telling him what he did was wrong, I told him my phone was recording, he turned and backed off immediately. Overall it was just totally unacceptable. All he had to do was tell me that the kids couldnt be there and all would have been good. You dont put your hands on nobody. Kid or not. I will definitely not be coming back here. Nor will my family.

We have been eating at this restaurant inside of Baldinis for over 20 years. It has the very best service and the best food in Reno, Nevada. They have an excellent senior menu for only $4.00 each meal, and they have wonderful full course dinners for under $12.00. The area is clean, neat and very well presented. The only bad thing is you have to walk through a lot of cigarette smoke to get to the restaurant unless you go through the back doors,, (highly recommended if you are alergic to smoke like I am). But the employees have been at this establishment for many years and this tells me it is an excellent place to work at and for! We go here about once or more a week. The servers are very friendly and dont mind refilling our drinks over and over again. We could eat anywhere in Reno, but we only go to this restaurant. It is by far the BEST PLACE TO EAT IN RENO NEVADA.

Always a good time there no matter if I win or lose. Will have to say its the only place I won $1400+ off $5 freeplay. That was almost a year ago. But two nights ago I won $70 off $7 freeplay. Cocktail waitresses visit you often. Lots of slot techs if you need them. And a good amount of cash out ticket machines.

One of my favorite locals hang outs. The restaurant has consistently good food at a great price. It is nothing fancy, highly recommend the prime rib and breakfast specials. The Brickyard is good for a quick bite, chat up the prep line while you wait, the food seems to get a little better and the helpings more generous. Decent salad bar in the BY too.

Players Rewards are above average. Good variety of games, food is reasonably priced with a decent selection on the menus and a few venues for dining.

When in for a quick bite to eat. Service was very good, meal served quickly. Excellent value for the money, would go back again. Would also recommend. Did not spend any time in casino just ate.

We went with a group of people for breakfast. Everyone ordered different items and they all complained about at least one thing. For myself, I ordered a Belgian waffle with fruit and whip cream. I must say this was the most underwhelming waffle Ive had in a while. It was very soggy and pretty bland. The fruit was just canned syrupy strawberries that tasted old, acidic, and overall not pleasant. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of whip cream they added on. Others were complaining about their eggs, pancakes, fruit, etc so I know I wasnt the only one not liking my order. Service was good because they checked up on us frequently, but food wise I wouldnt choose this place. Prices are normal and not too bad, but you can definitely get better quality and more affordable options elsewhere. I would say I expected much better being that it is inside a casino.

Friday out running around, went to Baldinis to pick our T-shirts, We are out, so when will you get them in today? We wont, we are totally out we only ordered 1500. Seriously? You only ordered 1500 T-Shirts to cover 5 days of Buy a breakfast Buffet and get a FREE T-SHIRT?.....Next time people, skip the Free T-Shirt Come On and go to the Atlantis Breakfast Buffet where you get 50 times more choices....FYI...NO PLACE was it stated While Supplies Last..It clearly stated a Free T-Shirt with EVERY Breakfast Buffet purchased.....

I really like this place. Has some older machines, has penny keno at bars, and newer machines available.The food looks and tastes great. Great locals place.The prices are very reasonable to eat here. Also nice sportsbook with good screens. Big board Keno is available here. Reminds me, I have a keno ticket to check.

I take mom to the coffee shop two or three times a week. For a coffee shop its great. There is always someone there to greet you at the door. The wait staff is well trained and attentive. The busboy usually has your drinks on the table a couple of minutes after your seated. Shortly after your waiter has taken your order and five minutes later your eating. I have eaten most things on the menu and the only thing I did not like was the hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict. Otherwise I have enjoyed every meal. FIVE STARS great staff and did I mention the prices may be the best in Reno.

We went to gamble a few hours and in that time we couldnt find a cocktail server a bar tender or a cashier! We asked the security guard if anyone besides him and the slot lady works here he said good luck finding anyone and laughedFinally found the cashier asked her if there was a cocktail server she said yea but I dont know where she is someone else was looking for her tooWas so disappointed

Now for the good stuff. We have been going here for years. The regular staff is always friendly. Our favorite server is part of the reason we go there. (we are sooo spoiled in this respect). The food is always great. Casino side is great as well. I like the older machines when I do gamble. If its a penny machine I have the choice of betting a penny.

I love this place. They have good food at the snack bar and the restaurant. The prices are excellent. And dont forget to have the dollar margarita for a buck its the best in town.

This place was rude casino manager pat. Rolled on his wheel chair to take my players card and not even attempt to resolve my issue. Good machines, good food, it was only our second time to eat in the restaurant.. While sitting at our table the host or supervisor Desirae came over to say hello & she had remembered our names..We were very surprised & Ill admit it made us feel special.. The steak & shrimp were delicious..

We were very happy with our waitress & cant say enough for her. She was on top of everything without making us feel crowded. I noticed she capt an eye out from the other side of the room & responded immediately if beckoned! We enjoyed our food & especially being able to relax. I am not sure of her name I think it might be something like Jennifer. She is the greatest!

Great place to grab bite rite quick

I was invited to their New Years Eve dinner party upstairs in the ballroom. The decor, food, drinks and most of all the service was top notch!! Thank you Baldinis! That was a truly enjoyable time!

Mom, Dad my wife and I have been going to Baldinis for breakfast every Saturday for a long time now. The staff are great. Our favorite waiters, Carlos and Edgar know what all of us order for breakfast by heart. They dont write anything down.

High Sierra Brewing CompanyThe food is typical sports bar fare, the beer selection is decent, and the fries are crazy good (they must batter them in crack!). This is a great place to go for happy hour, as I am not sure the food is quite worth full price and the service isnt stellar. It was only my first trip though so I will give them another shot to bring that service level up.

9/7/15This casino is a small, older building in Sparks, NV. It sits in the flight path of the airport so they dont have a hotel attached, but it is where we ended up spending Saturday night since they will let you park your trailer/RV in their lot.Service between 2 and 3 a.m. was friendly, especially given the hour. The cashier happily called the bartender over to offer drinks to my husband, a friend, and me. He even came back later and offered us another round (which we declined).The womens restroom was really clean which was amazing since I hadnt washed my face thoroughly in over a week after leaving an event in Black Rock City, NV. I had soup for my dinner at their little Brickyard Bar & Grill and when I finished eating, my husband had turned $20 into $900. Weve never won big like that so it was super exciting.We spent the night outside and we felt safe in their parking lot; we even had the door of our van open for part of the morning while we slept once the Sun started shining. We hit the Rib Festival at the Nugget nearby before heading home. This casino was in the perfect location for everything we wanted to do.

Im very disappointed with Baldinis! I asked multiple of their employees before ordering at their grill if our kids were allowed to eat their and all of them said yes. We proceeded to order and got our food and began to find a place to eat. At the this time we were now told we could not eat there since it was 21+ (again, I made sure to ask first!) Although I was upset we went to their restaurant and asked if we could sit and eat there so my family could finish our meal and were told we could not! My family was forced to go eat in the parking lot. This is downright ridiculous. Not only was it embarrassing to a paying customer but does this business not have respect for children and or families? I understand its a casino which is why I made sure to ask first. I will never give establishment my business and will be telling many others of my upsetting experience!

Love the cheap food at the Empire diner. Let me rephrase, great food with cheap prices. Service is very homey feeling. Lots of comfort food

Can never find a cocktail waitress.. so the service in my opinion sucks.. the supervisor had to verify I lost over a hundred fifty bucks first before he would bring me a bottle of water.. and they act like theres a sense of entitlement when it comes to tip.. and if you dont tip the waitress you wont get another drink thats how they make you feel and Ive noticed they suck up to people who have a bunch of money on their machine or the big tippers in the industry and will have a whole conversation with this person and ignore everyone else.. and make you feel less important..or that if you dont tip.. they wont stop..

Had a pretty good breakfast at the Empire Diner. The meals are reasonably priced and couldnt bet the price

So Baldinis is a little out of the way and the graveyard staff doesnt go out of the way for the guest. I normally enjoy playing here except when it is early morning or late night. My last experience was a poor one to say the least. It started off with me needing to get a replacement players card which every casino I have ever played at will do at any time of the day. I followed the directions at the closed players club desk and went to the cage where the manager on duty was leaning on the customer side of the counter having a personal conversation with one of the security guards. I asked the cashier if anyone could help me. He notified the manager so proceeded to the players club. The manager never showed up. He had walked away as soon as I turned around. So as I waited, a female supervisor informed me, in the rudest most irritated way that the players club opened at 6am, 25 minutes away. Although I had replacement cards printed previously in the middle of the night, I was refused service. Time can close for them to open I noticed the same supervisor and manager having yet another personal conversation and laughing sitting at machine nearby without any concern or care for the guests including the two gentleman behind me. Once the employee came to open up the Players Club she came in with a terrible attitude and began throwing items around on the desk as she started up her computer. Including a few Choice words does she have to throw in there as you did so. When she was finally finished getting the computer running she turned to me and said what do you want. So definitely disappointed with the service

Mom and I visit every week for breakfast and games. People are always friendly.
