10/5 stars for Leroy at Classics barbershop! Just got a fade and beard trim, and omg is it great. Never going anywhere else. Bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Cash only, classic feel, straight razors, everything. Definitely will be going back

In my opinion, the best barber in Northern Nevada. The owner, Leroy is very personable. He is available from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to around 4:30. He takes Saturday, Sunday and most holidays off (Nevada Day included). Prices are reasonable but expect hazzard prices during Covid 19.

Smallest sign ever that says cash only I wasted 20 minutes for this guy to move over before I saw it. What a waste of time.

Leroy’s shop is great. It literally is a “classic” barbershop. On that note, Leroy only takes cash and until COVID it was first come first serve, no appointments. His cuts are the best I’ve had in Reno/Sparks, and if you don’t mind waiting your turn or getting there before the place opens to be first then this is the place for you.

Literally have been looking for a professional like this for 6 yrs!! Classics Barber Shop is the best in Reno! Like the name, this shop is a step back in time, especially where service and customer satisfaction is involved. A good barber is hard to find...a great barber is even more rare. Leroy does a fantastic job and has a terrific chair-side manner! Take a book or charge your cell, the wait can be long, but well worth it!

I am very impressed and pleased with Leroy. Everytime I come in Leroy is friendly, pleasant and professional. I love the atmosphere that he has created in his shop and the name is spot on. From the moment you walk in you feel the classic barbershop nostalgia. It is apparent that Leroy takes pride in his work and his skills are top notch. Im deeply loyal to my Barber, before Leroy I had the same Barber throughout my entire life. He cut my fathers hair, he cut my hair and he cut my sons hair. So when I say I was apprehensive about finding a new Barber when I moved to Nevada you can understand what I mean. Being a classic Barber Leroy understood my trepidation and made my transition painless. And even though its only been 14 months I truly feel like Ive been coming to Leroy for years. Im proud to say Ive found my new Barber!!!

This place and the barber (Leroy) is great! This place is a first come first serve and you have to stay in (or just outside) the shop to keep your spot. He takes his lunch as close to 12 as possible, so you have to anticipate for that. The price is great for the quality of the cut. Leroy does haircuts, shaves, beard trims, goat tees, fades, and hard parts. (Prices vary)

Leroy, Im glad that your in Reno Sparks area first place I went to that does not mess up a fade. Be prepared to wait for a haircut. Classics does not take appointments. Strictly first come first serve but worth every dollar. I hope that eventually the owner finds another barber with his set of skills to help out with the high demand for a haircut. Ive been to a few barbers in the area. Hands down the best in the business in Reno/Sparks.

Leroy has a great shop and is by far the best barber in town. I have been going to him for a few years now and never have i had a bad cut. He has got to be one of the nicest guys i have ever met. I have been to many barbers in town and once i started going to him i have never gone anywhere else. You will have to wait but only because the guy knows his stuff. THANKS LEROY!!

Truly the best place in Sparks for a haircut. I drive an hour and a half, maybe more, for a haircut from this place. The barbers are funny, great people with very talented skill. They just dont cut hair, they get to know you. A barbershop worth getting attention. A Classic.

Best barber shop I have found in my travels. My only complaint is that they dont do head shaves with the straight razor. These guys are awesome and do amazing work though.

I got a haircut from Leroy, and when I got my cut, he called Crazy 80’s with me and the men from Union 305. He called in and got the winning answer, because a guy said the song was That’s Heaven. I was receiving and requesting a combover haircut for about 1 n half month until one day I was forced to receive a fresh cut from someone else, who is actually up to date with the new generation haircut style. That day Drew asked who and where I cut my hair. His response is that he doesnt know how to cut a comb over reason why is because he messed up my natural line up for my hard part so everything else is unaligned... After 2 haircut from Drew my co workers asked me where I got my fresh cut.... Ive always asked for the same style since day 1!!!

Leroy is hands down the best barber I have ever been to. Excellent customer service and very friendly. Not to mention the inside of his shop is badass.

When googling Reno Barber shops Classic barber shop should be the first one to show up because theyre literally the best. I have been to many other shops Reno, but Leroy is the only one that cuts my hair right. I have been going to him now for 2 years and I havent been disappointed once. The best part is the price, other places in town charge almost double what Leroy charges but half the quality. Leroy never asks his customers to post a review, the 50 reviews you see are all done willingly by satisfied customers! I promise you wont be disappointed. The wait can be long sometimes and he doesnt take reservations, but thats because he doesnt need to make appointments-he always has business. If youre lacking on time, give him a call he always answers and tells you ahead of time the appoximate wait time.

I really hate to give Classics Barber Shop, and Leroy a three star review, the quality of his haircuts deserve 5 stars, but.....I have been going to Leroy for close to three years, almost every two to three weeks. Leroy is in my opinion the best barber around hands down, 5 stars. I have tried many different barbers in and around Reno. Leroy is the best. The shop is really cool and Leroy is an all-around nice guy, and gives the best haircuts.I have had no problem waiting two hours for Leroy to cut my hair; I have waited a couple of hours many times. The problem with Classics Barber Shop is the fact that I can no longer get in to get a haircut from Leroy. For the past three to four months I get off work at 3:30, I race over to Classics Barber Shop hoping that the barber pole is still outside. If the barber pole is not outside, then he is either closed or has enough clients to last him until 5:30. Now days, at 3:30 the barber pole is always put away.So on Wednesday the 7th, I was going to another barber down the street from Classics with the hopes of maybe seeing the barber pole outside, to my great surprise it was! I quickly pulled in, excited to get a great haircut from Leroy. I walked in, looked around and saw three people waiting; I sat down and awaited my turn. I did not care one bit that I would be waiting two hours. I said to Leroy “what’s up Leroy” he just looked at me and said “sorry I’m closed; I already turned 4 other people away”! I was kind of shocked, I had been going to Leroy for three years, and all he could say is “sorry I’m closed”. The barber pole was outside, and anyone that has gone there for a while knows that means his is open. He could have been a little more cordial to someone who has patronized his shop for three years.I am sad to say that I will no longer go to Classics Barber Shop; I will use the barber shop right down the street. Once that guy retires I will find another barber, but unfortunately it won’t be Leroy.If you can get in to see Leroy you will not be disappointed with your haircut, you will get a five star haircut for sure. If you can get in.
