I experienced and unexpected exhaust system issue. I went to one repair shop and they didnt do the work to the extent I needed. They recommended Midas at 10 Mile and Telegraph in Southfield. I called and Rico, Service Mgr, was so polite, professional and friendly. I explained my issue and he said come on in. Got there, was greeted warmly and professionally and was able to get in and get it looked at. Not only did the come back and tell me the problem, they had a picture/diagram to give me a visual of what the issue was. Even without an appointment they were timely, even after finding another issue. I was also happy to see young men of color managing and doing the work. Vehicle was repaired, price was within reason, they test drove it and recommended a future service need, which I already am aware of, and actually quoted a price for the service, again within reason. I am thoroughly pleased with my visit and will return for future work as needed. It was a pleasure doing business in a pleasant atmosphere, not feeling hassled and feeling like you are being robbed. Thanks Rico and guys for taking care of me as gentlemen and not shady crooks. Hats off to you. You will be recommended to others.

This Midas location on Telegraph at 10 Mile Rd. is the best!The Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.Rico, youre really nice & you have a great staff!I came to this location last year to get an exhaust system on my car, it was at a great price.I received great customer service,I told the manager if I ever needed my vehicle repaired again Im definitely coming back.Well a few days ago I heard a rattling noise coming from my car, took it to Midas, they checked it out at no cost & also checked my struts, shock absorbers they were in tract & not the reason my car was rattling....it was a magnet extra key holder left in the wheel well by the previous owner.Who wouldve thunk it? Wow!Anywho, this is exactly why I trust this Midas location, theyre, nice, honest & very reasonable.This will be the only place Ill ever take my car to be repaired.Plus its literally a hop, skip & a jump away from me.Im referring family, friends, anyone I talk to...to patronize this establishment for great car care & wonderful customer service.Thanks to the wonderful staff @Midas! :-)

They repaired a punctured tire in under 30 minutes, despite being very busy on a Saturday morning. The charge for this service, including exchanging the spare was extremely reasonable at $20!

II received great customer service. The staff was courtesy friendly and professional and addressed my car issue thoroughly.

Great Shop! Got my brakes done here and I am coming back for everything from now on. The price for my new brakes was significantly lower than the dealer, and they were not trying to sell me on services that were not needed. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The job took a little longer than expected, but due to the price difference it didnt bother me at all (and they threw in a free car wash due to the wait).

Midas came through for me where two other shops I will not name failed me. The other shops made the issue seem bigger than it was and kept charging me for work that didnt last more than 3 days. But Midas not only found the problem but was reasonably priced at that!! They fixed it with flying colors. I purposely waited a week to do this review just to make sure my air wouldnt run out in 3 days. It is safe to say that they deserve all 5 stars!

I took my car there at 8 AM TO MAKE SURE IT GOT CHECKED OUT THAT DAY AND I WOULD HAVE INFO ON THE ISSUE BY MY LUNCH BREAK. I called at 1 PM because I hadn’t heard anything and was informed that I needed all new breaks and rotors front and rear. (I already knew I needed the front but not the back.) They quoted me $703. I told them I wouldn’t be getting it done today but I’ll take the write up of the estimate and come back another day. I wanted to pick my car up on my next break BC I knew they would be closed by the time I got off and I had plans that evening.They call me back a couple hours later and asked again what I wanted to do with my car. Again I stated I didn’t want the work done at this time and I would be on my way shortly to pick it up. Their reply was the same “okay we will have it parked out front.” Long story short I get there at 4:30 PM and my car is up in the air with wheels off. I asked why they said oh we’re getting it down now. I ended up being 15 minutes late even though I thought I timed everything perfectly.Then try I drove to a friend’s house a couple hours after I made it home taking the streets. Less than a mile in with my niece in the car it starts wobbling and making noises I never heard before. I was concerned one of the tires wasn’t secured so I go off and safely made it to a relatives house near by. I realized I was missing 2 lug nuts, none of them were tightened and my car is driving much worse than when I brought it to them. So basically myself and my niece could have been seriously injured due to their negligence. I trusted the good reviews and I’m not saying you shouldn’t but just know you go at your own risk of the safety of yourself and those you love.

They do not call back. They wont relay requests to talk to owner. Corporate does not respond either. They used to be my prime automotive repair. They have gone down hill. Stay away. I used to trust them and always go there. No more.

I am a return Midas customer because good brakes are very important to me. Nowadays with so many lower quality aftermarket options I need to find a brake company that is not playing the bait-n-switch game with my brakes. As usual Midas did a good job.

Had to bring truck back 2x after a brake job. They did not bleed right, then they rotated tires and did not inflate them. Brakes are still too soft, but who has time to go back and forth. Plus they didnt offer any discount for our having to bring it back so many times. Obviously we ended up putting air in our own tires.

Google says they open at 7:30am but its really 8am. Rico opened up at 7:45 and took my vehicle. Called after they inspected it and gave me a very good price. Car was ready in a few hours. I drive a Mercedes and they did as good if not better than the dealer. Highly recommend.

I needed a new catalytic converter welded into my Volvo. Due to the odd design of the converter, 4 shops in the area didnt want to work on the car. I stopped into midas on a whim, and they were able to order a converter the next day, and had the car done in a couple of hours. Couldnt be happier with the work and price.

I had a break light installed and parking light or running light bulb installed. The running light bulb was not yellow light the other bulb but I guess I will have to live with it. They were very professional and job done in a timely manner. I will do business again with Midas.

I see these guys maybe once a month because I drive so much and they are so nice. They always greet you with a smile and always keep you updated on the small things. Even though I have moved 20 miles from them I will always choose this midas to get my oil changed

They sent my vehicle with the starting wheel shaking like crazy so in my mind they didnt do a good job at all I kept telling them that it was doing that they were telling me that they were looking for the truck to be shake it if I said the will how can it be a truck

Rico, the manager was very nice, very conscientious, knew his product well, and provided great customer service. The rest of the staff there are friendly, in particular the young man who loaded the tires in the truck for us.A well run shop with nice people. I am glad I looked online to find this tire brand because I didnt know this shop sold tires. They are a GoodYear dealer.

Went in to change my Radiator and the service from Roy and Midas was phenomenal. Definitely would reccomend visiting for any auto work needed on your car.

I took my car in for an exhaust leak; I could smell exhaust and hear that my car was louder than usual. The technician said there is no problem with my exhaust system. Almost one week to the day, my trunk catches fire! Why? Theres a leak that has grown to the size of a golf ball in my muffler; it burned completely through the heat shield and set my trunk on fire! I spent two days in a hotel room ( I was going out of town, which why I asked for an inspection) waiting for parts and nearly spent $1000 on repairs and hotel expenses.The other muffler had small holes and rust and had to be replaced as well.Im waiting to hear back from them. I took pictures of the old mufflers and the tech still claimed he inspected my exhaust!??!You be the judge.

Rico went over & beyond in searching for the part needed. He impressed me as an efficient & caring person. Midas is lucky to have him.

As they called and said my breaks were complete but they for got to tighten all my lugs on my tires. That couldve been a major problem for me.

My car wouldnt start so I needed to get my car towed... They provided me with a number to a tow service that was cheaper than the one I thought was the cheapest!It took a while... But they finally found out what was wrong after I had a few things replaced previously in effort to cut the cost. Wrong move on my behalf.They had me up and running first thing the next day... It was the grounding wire to my starter. Not a lot of money and I was grateful!!Ryan or Rico someone that started with an R...checked on my later the next week to see if all was good. Great customer service 😁 I recommend them for women especially... Because I always have anxiety when I need my car repaired. For fear the mechanic will take advantage of my lack of knowledge. They took care of me.

I had the best experience why going to Midas about my girls car. The technician was very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately my girls car was in pretty bad condition. Instead of them trying to take our money. They told us the car was not worth fixing it had too many problems. Anyone else would have said fix this and fix this and your car will be all right. I really appreciate them and I will be back. I give it 4 stars of because they were honest with me. Thank you for being so honest.

Great place! warning light was flickering, but was just a bit of sticky parking brake. They were able to get to me quickly while I waited and found nothing really wrong so no charge and no pressure to do other work. Ive had great service at this place previously as well.

Made an appointment, explained that I needed to wait with the car. When I showed up they told me they would call me later implying that they wouldnt even have the time to look at the car for a few hours. I was finally able to get them to put it up on a hoist to give me a quote and they priced themselves so far out of the market that I chose to leave. They staff was real friendly on the phone but when I arrived for the work I think they were just too busy to help so they over-priced the job, essentially motivating me to go somewhere else.

This was hands down the best treatment I have received at any oil change place. The three gentlemen who serviced my truck were very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, kind, funny and made my experience pure joy. I will definitely be returning and referring friends and family.

Im done with this midas. Your oil change shop employees are rude, ignorant and down right unprofessional. I spent over $4000 at this location and called to get a price on a particular service but was talked to as if I was interrupting someone on their lunch.. Ill build a relationship with another shop. Im done with these unpleasant fools.

Brought my car here on the recommendation of a friend who said they were awesome. Larry took great care of me, I was afraid something was very wrong but it turned out to be a simple and cheap air filter fixed the problem. Was in and out in 20 min and around $20. Awesome! Excellent job

Went to have my rear passenger wheel bearings replaced. While I sat there i decided to go look in the bay to see if they’d started the repair. To my surprise my hood was open. They brought me out to tell me of another “problem” they detected. My intake manifold “suddenly” has a leak. Never had a leak before going to them. After leaving my truck has started running very rough. I will be going back tomorrow to discuss and will pursue in court if not taken care of. Why they had went under my hood is unknown but I believe they’re up to something. I went in for a bearing repair and came out with a $1400 estimate to fix and replace my intake manifold. I service my truck every 3000 miles and also had it scanned at a shop one day before to see which rear bearings needed replacing and I’m SURE if they didn’t see anything come up on a scan then there was nothing wrong. NO reason they should have been under my hood AT ALL!!!
