If I could give 0 stars I would. There today for two hours. I was led to believe that once I send my income in in a pdf file as a door dasher there wouldn’t be any issues. THERE WAS!!!!!! Even before arrival I mentioned everything. I’m a door dasher. I have a down payment etc, bankruptcy is discharged months ago etc. same person I spoke with met me there. TWO hours later after test driving, running my credit 4 times no less. Then he says I need a co-signer. Makes NO SENSE. this is a company that claim that they specialize in folks in my position. It’s unreal to walk in there with a 630 credit score, down payment, proof of money and a down payment and then the MANAGER literally told me I needed to work harder. In short, you need help with a loan for a car. Go to a REAL dealership!!!!!!!!!!

Please dont ever purchase a car here, my friend purchased a 2011 BMW X6 and the dam engine is bad in the truck. And to top it off he only had the truck for two weeks two weeks and fresh start refuse to get the truck fixed. Shame on Fresh Start dealership you need to be in the hall of shame. So if you guys really read these reviews please pay close attention to this one. Real life episode please dont buy a windshield wiper from these ungodly Folk.

After being turned down at multiple places for not having enough cash to put down, we finally got a yes.There was no pressure to buy anything, let alone a vehicle that we didnt want or couldnt afford. We went in and crunched some numbers with our sales guy, Xavier, told him our criteria for a vehicle, and after figuring out what we can afford and what the bank would finance, he told us which vehicles matched our needs. It wasnt us picking out a car then hoping we get approved, we were approved first then given some numbers. Which is much more reassuring.After test driving a vehicle that I fell in love with after seeing it online, we mentioned that the front tires were going bad. They offered to completely replace them before we bought it. We ending up going with a different vehicle in the end because it made more sense for our family. (A 2009 Chrysler Town and Country Touring Edition, fully loaded with lower miles for the year.) But the fact they were willing to fix the issue for something before buying was comforting.They were very up front and honest with us throughout our entire experience and were very tolerant of our two small children. They even took my husbands non-running jalopy that wasnt worth its weight in scrap as a trade in. Two birds, one stone.Ive always owned my cars outright and they made my first car financing experience much easier than I had anticipated. I even have a warranty on my vehicle.We are very pleased and plan on coming back for a second vehicle come tax season.

I visited fresh start Auto yesterday evening to look at a Dodge Challenger but to my dismay when I got there it was already sold but the salesman I was working with Robert found me another challenger but I wasnt sure I was going to get approved for it because Ill be honest I dont have the greatest credit but I also dont have the worst but Todd and finance work this magic got me some good rates and got me set up with a 2014 Dodge Challenger RT so I actually had a better car for a few thousand more dollars half the miles and newer than the one I was going to go look at and a lot more features but the whole buying experience was great they treat you like family youre not just a number or credit score when you go in they talk to you get to know you awesome guys to work with so if youre in need of a vehicle go visit Fresh Start Auto or the Southfield Chrysler Dodge Jeep they will hook you up especially Todd and finance and talk to Robert and sales is really cool guy they did an awesome job I will definitely be doing business here again. A++++++++

My experience was great and seamless. Robert took care of me. I came in, told him what I needed and I what I was dealing with. Lastly, I knew that I had to have some money down, told him how much I had working with and was approved less than 30 minutes.

I walked in with so many doubts that I wouldnt get the car that I wanted and after an hour, Robert got me approved for a 2015 Malibu! I couldnt believe it. Im a very satisfied customer and I will recommend to friends and family!!

I would give them 0 (ZERO) stars if I could. I thought that because I was turned down at other places that this place was a heaven sent, I was wrong. This is the worst company I have ever worked with. I will not go into details but dont come here unless you are want to be scammed.

I wouldnt recommend anyone to this place! They tell you anything until you get the car then its like they dont care. My salesman was Thomas and he gave me the runaround plenty times about an issue I had and was calling to see what exactly my warranty covered. Second time calling I asked to speak to the manager. Once I said Thomas name he put me on hold and transferred my call to him when he was NOT the person I wanted to speak to or even inquiring about my problem as a manager should!! They are very rude! Easy to get a car, but the service there is terrible!!!!

Wonderful service and I got me a new van

This has more to do with one of their salesmen. Thomas James Devereux works for Fresh Start Auto. Recently, I bought a car from him privately. When attempting to test drive it, he informed us that we couldnt really test it out due to speed limits in the area and an expired plate. He assured us that the engine, trans, and everything was good and so we took him at his word and bought the car. Driving it back though, we noiced that the gears didnt shift past first gear and the transmission light came on... we took it to a shop where they told us the transmission needed to be replaced. A 2000 dollar job after we spent 1600 on it. If it was just an ordinary private seller, Id be upset and deal with it but this man works for Fresh Start Autos which means he probably lies to his customers and keeps important information from them. I wouldnt trust him or this company and anyone looking to buy a car should go somewhere else.(Update) They blocked me and deleted their Facebook page after I posted this review on it

I have never felt like I was taken advantage of from any body or company...They made me use my hold loan amount..thats why they ask let me see how much your approved for first before they show u any vehicles...and they are inconsiderate of your feeling as far as if u have a problem with a vehicle, such as if u dont like the way it drives or u didnt check right then to see if it had a third row because of the weather that day...but the most upsetting is telling u cant get the vehicle u wanted in the first place because of the miles on it...then why are u trying to sale it in the first place...Exactly...Poor business...Never Again...wiuld not recommend them to my worst enemy...Period...Every bodys rude as well...
