Ended up here by chance, had an oil change the previous day (from a different shop), and the other shop had failed to put the gasket on the oil filter. This exit is where the oil light came on, so we pulled over and found no oil in the engine. The folks at Garys Auto Tech II were super helpful. They figured out the problem (and documented it so I can prove to the other shop it was their fault), got it fixed and has us on our way! Cant say how happy I am that they were there to save the day. Thank you!

They are always friendly, fair and HONEST!! While they check out your car, they stay in touch every step of the way. They give you OPTIONS, answer all questions very patiently then do the work you authorize. We love them, all of our family, friends and neighbors do as well.

Troy will take his time and explain every detail and will thoroughly give your car a diagnostic and point out and obvious and potentially crucial issues as he did with my 1999 Firebird letting me even know my rotors were put on the wrong wheels despite being paid only for a engine work. Work was well and experience was very appreciated. Justin helpful at the desk too

The absolute best place Ive ever taken my car to. They worked with me as far as pricing, and even found ways to lower the cost AFTER I agreed to a higher price. I have never left with any lingering/new problems. My car feels brand new every time I leave. Plus everyone that works there has always been personable and kind. My experiences have ALWAYS been positive. If one of the technicians notices something that may cause a potential problem, I am notified. Suggestions/recommendations are made without using scare tactics (unlike the dealership) which helps with budget planning. Troy and Dustin have been upfront with me and my family members. These guys did an excellent job getting my car back together with New window relay, rack & pinion with wheel alignment.

I thank God for this place as an answer to prayer. On 696 Monday night, 9 degrees 11:30pm and the heat stopped working and the coolant light came on. Barely made it to the hotel as I am a traveler from North Carolina. Went to Garys first thing Tuesday Morning and Troy was a great help. I was supposed to drive back to NC leaving Wed. at 5am. He committed to look at my car and if possible fix it that day so I could make the trip home. Troy was very courteous and even took me back to the Hotel in his Truck.The repair was involved, an auxiliary water pump located under the intake manifold. He committed to work on my car and have it done by the end of the day, a job taking several hours. He did a great job! I made it back to NC with a balmy temp. of 43 degrees with no problems. Troy was courteous, helpful, informative, and even sacrificial in serving the Customer. I thank God for answered prayer, and for honest, reliable Service form a Mechanic far away from home helping me to get back to my Family. I definitely recommend Garys and I thanked God for Troy Wed. during my 10 hour drive home, in MI., OH, WV, VA and NC!Thank you Troy and Garys.What a blessing!

I had my car towed to Gary’s Tech II the night before. The tow truck driver brought my car and dropped the keys in the key box. I called Gary’s in the morning to explain what was going on with my car. By the afternoon they had my car completed. Very nice team at this 10 Mile Rd location.

Absolutely Love Casey and Troy. Theyre both so honest and friendly. Even when the Chevy Dealer couldnt figure out my electrical concerns after 3 days, Troy was able to figure it out in 1.!! The dealer gave me my car back and said it would cost too much to figure out and these guys not only figured it out they only charged me like $130. They have always fixed exactly what my problem was and never tried to over charge me or charge me for services I didnt need. They even give you a ride home and pick you up. Theyre genuinely good people which is hard to find in a mechanic these days.

Had my 05 BMW serviced here. They were very professional, explained what was going on, and were extremely friendly. Their prices seemed fair and Im confident in saying this place does not exist to rip you off. I would not hesitate to go here again. 5 stars.

I had the dealership and other shops take my money. I was left with a car that still stalled and misfired. Eventually this lead to my jeep not starting at all. Troy and Dustin went above and beyond to make sure that when I got my car back it was reliable, functioning and better than I left it.If you want to avoid the run-around just come here from the start.

I had a issue with Prius, were all kind of lights were up on dash board. I went at Garys auto Tech II. I found the person behind the desk was truly professional and he answers all my questions and asked him for ride back home which he did. He call me next day and told me that they found the issue with it but they do not have expertise on it so they dont wanna take any chance because it was issue with Prius brain.He told me i do have to go to dealer which i did.Surprisingly Garys Auto Tech II they did not even charge me for Diagnostic fee.Just WoW.Where do you find this kind of honest people now days?I truly appreciated and God Bless your Team.Where i went Next day Toyota dealer in Southfield they charged me 140 for to test and estimated for 4000. :(No matter what my next auto stop will be always Garys Auto Tech IIHappy Holidays to your great Team.... :) :)

Good honest service

I went to Garys a few weeks ago. I was having major exhaust issues. I dropped my car off and they gave me a ride to work! They had my car fixed by lunch time. They came and picked me back up! My car is running great. :)

My grandmother started going to this shop first. Which isnt a surprise because she has never let a backyard mechanic work on her Roadmaster. She always gets a warranty and a receipt. I didnt start going there until after my grandmother had fainted in the lobby and the staff took extremely good care of her (even saw her at the hospital). Customer service is everything but these guys are heaven sent. In my experience, if they are going to have my truck all day, they tell me. If I drop my truck off and need a ride home, they take me. If I am unsure of the problem, they dont just fix any and everything to get my money! instead they tell me whats needed immediately and what can wait.repan time.
