I love working at Friedman Communities! Being able to help people find a great place to live is one of the most gratifying things I can do! Additionally, I have a couple friends who live at our communities in the Metro Detroit area and they always let me know how wonderful theyre treated! A great company all around!
I have lived in the Davis Gardens Apts. in Pensacola,Fl. for about 3 yrs. This used to be a nice place. The current management is horrible. I had a huge hole in my tub for 8, count them, 8 months. During this time I heard one lie or excuse after another!! Yet I still paid my rent on time! Usually early. You would think a good resident would be someone you would want to keep happy. Finally got into another apartment and now they are trying to charge me another deposit. At first, it was an error with corporate, just an error that would be corrected. But now they are seriously trying to get me to pay it!! I was never given my original deposit back, therefore it should convey over to the new apartment!! I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THIS IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND!! I am beyond frustrated!!! Heed my words, this is not the place to be!!!I have seen what was supposed to be a response to this review from this company!! They never contacted me and this has not been resolved even though I have called and left several messages!! They have gotten bogus information from the manager of this property. However, be assured, I have all of my paperwork intact and no one is listening!!! AGAIN, PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!
I enjoy working at Friedman Communities! Everyone you meet is always willing to help and the company provides amazing training and educational services. The fast-paced nature of the industry means no two days are the same and I am always challenged to think on my feet!
I contacted you guys because of the issue I was having with one of your properties. I have yet to be contacted back about my issue. I moved to Jackson Mississippi to move into a two bedroom unit scheduled for February 15th and that did not happen. I had all my worldly possessions shipped from Jacksonville Florida to Jackson Mississippi just to arrive with nowhere to live. I stayed in a hotel for a week with no reimbursement by anyone then I contacted you guys and Stacy put me in one of your sister units that someone had just moved out of that was filthy. I want to file a complaint against that regional manager Stacy because she did some shady things and I have her on recording and I also have the office people from the advantages apartments telling me that she is the one that said it. She is also the one that said I would be reimbursed for my hotel fees. Now when the advantages apartments claimed that my unit is ready, it was a whole mess. I took pictures of that unit. Duct tape being used to repair items in the unit like the refrigerator, water damage peeling ceilings, dead roaches on the counters etc. I have pictures. I could not take that unit in the condition it was in and I immediately called your office again and Lisa was supposed to contact me back and she never did. You guys just left me homeless. I will be taking you guys to small claims court to get my moving expenses back, to get my hotel fees back and I am suing you guys for my inconvenience and stress. I gave you guys plenty of opportunity to fix the situation and you guys chose to ignore me. I have pictures and I have recordings of every conversation that Ive had with anybody in your office and the advantages apartments. Its not right to have someone pick up and move all the way from Florida just to be homeless and ignored. people should know how you guys do business and Im going to make sure that they do.
I am a tenant in the Woodland Townhomes property in Biloxi, MS and the property manager Kimberly Pannell is extremely rude and condescending towards the tenants. If you go to the office with a complaint, she belittles everyone and comes up with off the wall excuses that could be grounds for a lawsuit. We just moved into a unit and have found a termite infestation and she told us Are you from the area? Well you should know that we have swarms of termites all the time. We do not have a swarm in our unit, we have an infestation that has been in here for a while because there is numerous soft spots in the floor along with the floor coming apart from the base boards. She completely disregarded our complaints just to push us out the door. I do not appreciate the disrespect from someone who is supposed to help tenants when they have legit issues.
Charge for services you do not use. They unprofessional
I applied for one of their properties, Pebble Creek in Jackson, MS in September and keep getting the run around from the complex manager and the complex accountant, Tim about my money! The $100 administrative fee thats attached to the application fee/process supposed to be returned within 10 business days after denial. Ive called the complex for a month and a half and keep getting told lies. Ive called the accountant Tim the last two days and cant get a response from him due to him screening messages left via voicemail and instant messages via the receptionist. He keeps messaging the complex manager lies about the status and whereabouts of my check! This is very bad business! Hire new staff if the current ones in these positions dont want to work! But my funds need to be sent out ASAP!
My apartment community in Jacksonville Florida is so poorly maintained. When Friedman became our property manager they took away dumpsters and now we have trash and overflowing dumpsters constantly. This has been an issue since the day Friedman started managing this property and our many requests to rectify the problem have been ignored. Emails are never answered but if you are even a day late for rent they will call you immediately. This place disgusts me
I have been with Friedman for almost a year. Recently I had a couple life setbacks and I wouldnt have been able to get through it and save my apartment while fighting an illness if it werent for Laurielle and Ayanna at Hilliard Village. These women are smart, compassionate and professional. I cant imagine my community without these strong women leading the place.Thank you ladies and thank you Hilliard Village!! Im proud to call this place home!!
The office personal was a very thoughtful, genuine, and very helpful.. He answer all the question and made me felt welcome..
