**I am writing this review prior to my move in date, and will be editing this review in the future to update on my experience living here.**Regal Towers was incredibly swift to respond to any questions, comments, or concerns that I had. David is the gentleman thats been working with me, and he has been incredibly helpful, informative, and polite! He has always returned phone calls, has called me to check in and update me on the process, and is just an all around stellar employee. He works hard, and I appreciate his help greatly- finding something that accommodated me wasnt easy, but David was so patient. You all should give this guy a raise, because hes amazing. I like living here. Gas and water is included, its really affordable and theyre willing to work with you on your rent. They also have a pool and even a gym. I also appreciate they have security that actually walks around and doesnt just sit at a desk since I live alone. It looks like theyve been doing some upgrades too

I absolutely hate living in regal towers. Security only cares about the gate I’ve called about the couple fighting next to me they never come. Packages are supposed to be delivered to my door, my packages has to be sent back because I never have access to my packages. The cleaning services never cleans it’s always flys in the hallway. And the door is always open animals come in and out of our building. THE SECURITY IS RUDE I don’t feel safe with my kids here.

* Update, apparently there are bats that get in through the furnace closet. My daughter woke up one night to a fluttering sound in the livingroom. Looked up and saw something black with wings on the wall. Needless to say a bat had gotten in. Dad came over and trapped it under a blanket. There has to be some kind of mesh screen they can put over the point of entry. Will be contacting maintenance again about that. My life flashed before my eyes* Bldg D is nice and clean. The one bedroom is decent for a young single person. The walls and ceiling are white cement. Brown carpet. About 4 closets throughout. Air conditioning is good. One light in the dining room, you might need a livingroom lamp. Will need a bedroom lamp. Security cameras in the hallways. Laundry on each floor and garbage shoot.

Nice apartment community. They have lots of amenities. My friend lives there and loves it.

Super disappointing that the inside of my unit smells like Cannabis 5/7 nights per week despite this complex claiming there is no smoking indoors.Apparently security just has no way at all of combating this, as contacting them gets a “well we’ll look into it” response and then no change. Even the lobby of the main office smells like pot.If you don’t mind your unit and belongings smelling like weed then I’m sure this won’t bother you.

The complex has a lot to offer. The utility I’m responsible for electric that’s it. I love the renovations as well as the no tolerance policy they have for rift raft. I feel comfortable being a single woman living here.

Wonderful place to live, some occasional noise and shouting, other than that just perfect, super secure and various amenities

I lived at Regal Towers in Southfield from December 2019 to December 2020, and have only good things to say about the complex.When inquiring about prices and availability the staff was interested; accurate and helpful. The leasing process was quick and easy and I was definitely made to feel welcome.The apartment itself was quite spacious and the maintenance team was very responsive whenever an issue came up.What impressed me most about Regal Towers was the commitment of the community to its residents, often doing things “they didn’t have to do”, in my opinion.For example; I definitely noticed when they held a drive last summer in which the complex provided essential items and household products to residents in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.Additionally the complex hung Christmas lights and encouraged residents to decorate their windows during the holidays, an excellent way lift the spirits of both children and adults during such a difficult time.I truly appreciated everything Regal Towers offered and would recommend it for both individuals and families.Thank you again to Catalina, Amanda, Charles, and Noel!All the best,CPK

Decent apartment, been living here for a little over a year. Only complaint is that my Amazon packages began consistently disappearing 5 months ago or theyre just trapped in the locked mailroom for all of eternity.Edit: It appears they are not trapped in the mailroom since packages are sometimes scattered outside in front of the mailboxes, unfortunately none of my packages are there.Edit 2: Package issue was addressed for the apartment building I reside in. Still unfortunate that my past packages disappeared but Im glad that action was taken for future deliveries.

Miss Chelsea has been amazing and Miss Janice too, all the staff have been wonderful. This is the first apartment to work with me having weird credit. Too many view this a negative in life, which it kind of is, but whatever, I dont like credit cards. The point is, as a hard-working American with solid employment and positive history, a scary credit score shouldnt keep you from having shelter. Regal Towers will work with you.The cure for scary credit is to slap it with money, which you will have to do in this situation, but they will work with you, unlike the snooty apartments in Farmington Hills, a swamp of undeserved ego.UPDATE: The apartment was pristine when I entered it, clean and well-serviced. The security is oddly tight. Rent is non-negotiable, but this is the habit of every corporate-owned apartment. You have until the fourteenthish before their shills go bloodhound on you. No chill at alllll.Regardless of my run-in with that, I still maintain the five star vision of this cool nook. The apartments are neat, the people are chill (at least mine are), and I cant wait for that sweet basketball court to open up. Im going Rodman on everyone! 💪😷🏀

The apartment is not bad at all but far as getting help due to paying rent with COVID they are no help n quick to send a violation we were interested in staying another year but we can’t even transfer because our rent was late 2 times .

Nice size apartment in a great location at a very reasonable price. Gas & Water are included too. Surprisingly quiet for a building of this size. Lots up upgrades to the buildings in the last few years.

Very pleasant experience with this rental property. The staff were so nice and they made sure my apartment was spotless before moving in! The price is affordable and there’s plenty of parking so you don’t have to worry about you or your guests getting towed. The only issue is that since there are many residents and a senior citizens complex, there tends to be many ambulances that come to the property, sometimes at random times early in the morning. However, that’s not really an issue that the property can control. It’s been great living here and I plan on renewing.

I currently live here and the White Male Security is blatantly racist and rude for no reason. Not sure how he still has a job here. Beside him the place is not that bad it is small but for the price its reasonable. Maintenance request are handled timely.

I love my apartment! Love the staff! One thing I keep having problem that I keep having that hasnt been resolve let is cold air coming from my furnace room I call for this issue 3 times and the issue still hasnt been fix. No Imfrustrated and furious! The air coming out so cold that I have to turn my heat on 85 just to heat up my front roomHopefully this issue gets resolved!

Love the security. That was the priority when I was looking for an apartment for me and my wife. It is a gated community and security patrols the parking lot and buildings. We have a nice apartment at a great price. Located walking distance to restaurants and a convenience store. We just resigned the lease. It is a great place to live.

Nice and clean Place To stay and call home

I’ve been a resident at Regal Towers for 3 years now and i couldn’t have found a better place to call home. All of the office staff are very nice and professional, the maintenance team does a great job keeping up the property and handling the work orders and the security team makes it very safe.My friend is moving to Michigan from Atlanta and he is excited to come and see the property especially with all the new upgrades that’s taking place since i recommended him to move in REGAL TOWERS is a great place to call home

Regal Towers is a great place to live! The amenities are great and its a gated community. They have a WONDERFUL and FRIENDLY staff. I feel safe and comfortable living here and would recommend it to anyone who is looking! Also close to the highways.

I moved in about a year ago mostly because the price was the best for the location. I can say that I am delightfully surprised at how much I like it here. This past year they painted all the hallways in the building and it looks really good. My apartment is cute. I wish the bedroom closet was bigger, but I make it work by using the hallway closets. The apartment is quiet for the most part. The staff is very friendly. I have recommended friends to move in and they are happy here too. It is a great place to live, especially at the price point

I have lived here for quite some time now and absolutely love it. Its quiet, clean and the staff are friendly. I love the fact there is security on site which makes me feel comfortable with my husband working nights.Laundry onsite is awesome being where I use to live I was spending hours at a laundry mat, now I can just walk back to my apartment while it washes!I live in E building which is getting a new lobby! They extended and make it bigger and Im sure it will look amazing when its finished!I love that if I put in a service request and they have came usually no later then next day.I have not had any issues with bugs, they even bring the pest control people around with dogs every few months for preventive to be sure there are no bugs.Overall I would recommend people to live here! I love it!

Affordable, quick response from maintenance, lots of amenities, and safe

The Leasing team is very helpful and friendly. My tour was detailed and informative. I feel comfortable in there beautiful new leasing office. Regal Towers offers a nice variety of features and the Leasing team is great at explaining prices and availability.

My experience with Amanda Russell a collections manager was just all the way off. Luisa was full of it too. I reached out to Lusia first about a one bedroom apartment, Amanda emailed me not even introducing herself but she stated she spoke to Lusia about my application. Asked me to send her personal information and basically told me if I dont pay a deposit I cannot view an apartment. She rubbed me the wrong way because for one there was no professionalism. She then threaten to cancel my application after I told her I didnt want to work with her anymore. I ended up making a compliant on her because your not going to run my credit then threaten me after you tried to pull a fast one on me. Now I see the reviews were not lying, But I dont play I follow up with my complaints and she took it too far. Luisa the property manager insisted they had no apartments available to view so I had a friend come up here to the apartments o told her to go in and ask to see a unit and they let her see one she just needed an ID. They claimed they didn’t have a vacant apartment which was off to me because you advertising availability you really dont have. Luisa stalled me for a month with excuse after excuse after excuse because I’m not willing to just give 1300 to look at an apartment I may not want. I mean damn I get y’all live off commissions but have some common sense. It’s only so long you can use COVID19 as an excuse to finesse people into an apartment. They need to update their ads and Amanda should be replaced she is not professional AT ALL. As you can see I e added pictures of my interactions with these ladies and how they said one and did another. They posted a promo then delete it and Change the terms. I kept this proof n blocked out my personal information.

I have lived at Regal Towers for 2 almost 3 years now. I would have to say I love my apartment. I never have issues with any of their staff from any offices. Everyone is so nice and things get taken care of when requested.I like the fact the apartments have a gate around the apartments, although the system is new, its tough to get used to but we can get used to it!I enjoy the resident activities and things that the property does for the residents. Firework display for 4th of July is always so well put on.Oh, and they bring in dog every few months to check and see if anyone has bed bugs! I love this keeps me with peace of mind! Maintenance any time I call my requests are done at the absolute latest by next day. Overall, I would recommend people to give Regal Towers a try. I did and they did not let me down.

Don’t EVER live here. I had to move because maintenance kept coming in my apartment without my permission damn there everyday .Had to move out of the state to feel safe. Due to the fact no one ever did anything.They don’t know how violated i felt . Horrible experience. Don’t waste your money or time .

I love this apartment place!! Its so wonderful and clean, no bug problems, no loud noise, wonderful staff, not to mention the great amenities! I have been enjoying living here for not too long but am looking forward to the rest of the year, especially the summer barbeques and fun in the pool! Management is so considerate of the residents and even holds small events during holidays. I cant wait to fill my place up with furniture and really make it home!

Looking for new environment

For the price, with the amenities and location, cannot be beat in the area. The leasing office staff is very helpful, the community is gated, and the policies are clear. Parking is amazing.As for the units, theyre just... ok. Nothing special. Nothing bad. Just serviceable. Its a good stretch for your dollar.

Ive been a resident for almost 3 years and love coming home to a peaceful and clean community! Our security is amazing and always on patrol coupled with nice folks in the management office.

The price is great and you cant beat the location. Ive lived here for 9 years and Im very comfortable. The building is cleaned daily, the maintenance team is friendly and efficient. They have security that is constantly driving around giving me a great sense of security.

Im really curious as to why all the good reviews are from google user seems pretty fishy to me but regal towers look like projects not very well kept Ive checked them out a few times over an 10 year span things dont ever seem to change they seem to offer a lot except good service but hey what do I know?Recently called again for leasing info was put on hold for almost 15 min with someone picking up saying hold like 3 times to then be told I need to be transferred to another person for leasing info to then just be hung up on guess I got my answer ... customer service still sucks immensely suppose I will continue my search!

I’ve only lived here for almost a week and I love it. I love my building and unit and I cannot express enough how helpful the leasing office and staff has been. I needed something fixed and they were there the next day while I was at work. Nothing was taken out of my apartment by maintenance. Any questions I’ve had everyone has happily answered! I’ve hardly heard a peep from my neighbors or anyone above me.Edit 8/18/18: Today, I had a question about using the card for the laundry. I don’t know who the lady name who was working but she had a terrible attitude as if I was disrupting her. Isn’t it her job to ensure that residents and potential residents actually want to stay/live here? The next time I have any questions I’ll figure it on my own because that was uncalled for.

I have lived here for 3 years and must say that the property and staff have greatly improved. I recently had an issue and Catalina went above & beyond to make sure it was fixed. Me and my kids love staying here. Its very quiet and and the area stays clean. This is the nicest apartment I ever stayed in.

I have enjoyed it here all year, but one reason I signed my lease was for the swimming pool. It’s June 16th and the pool is still not open. It is suppose to be 96 degrees today and they still have not even given a date when the pool will open. I understand they are doing renovations to the clubhouse but why did they start so late in the year? It’s very upsetting that I could be paying rent somewhere else and actually get to use the pool.

Place is a bit run down. Always a line up trying to get into complex area from road. They really need a gate guard or something in that nature to speed the process up during peak times.

Amanda is the leasing manager at this facility is a joke. All the employees just to name a few James and Noelle. Give you misleading information when you apply here. You get the run around and they take your money without explaining the process. You can call several times leaving voicemail no one returned you call until 48 hours later. They give you an approval but it take you almost 72 hours to talk to someone. Refuse to refund your 100 dollars if decide to cancel. The consumer always get screw over.

I just love everything about Regal Towers love my nice apartment and how close it is from work. Love the maintenance people so willing to take care of anything. Love my leasing agent. Hope to stay for a lot of years to come.

Stills nice

Its a good apartment complex, it has a pool, and convince store (only for emergencies its a rip off) great security but management is completely, unprofessional.

I have lived here for a year and have not had the best experience. We have went several nights without power in the entire building. A couple of nights with no water. I went majority of the summer with no AC in my unit. Currently we do not have hot water and have not had any for several days. It would be nice to wake up and take a hot shower seeing that my rent is paid. I havent had a huge issue with bed bugs or roaches. There is one main person who answers the phone and is rude at times. The management office should hire more people and come up with a plan to provide a more positive experience for the people that live here. I am happy with the way my unit looks, but again, management needs work.

Convenient living. It is a great location with a gym onsite. They have 24hr maintenance, 24hr security and you can pay rent online. I use auto-pay so I never even think about it. This place is way better than my last apartment.

The hallways need repair. They need a ventilation system, its quite stuffy in the halls. The walls look like they have several coats of paint on them. The ceiling I believe is a drop ceiling, that needs a do over. Aa I walked down the hall some of the paintings would not lay flat. And there are areas where the wood floors need to be done over. Im not sure if they were done and went bad or if the carpet was pulled up. The apartment I went into was decent. Nice sized for a senior couple. Also, the entrance, foyer seemed dark.

It’s kind of annoying that I work 10am-7pm and I have sent multiple email inquiries about the property yet no one respond. I got one call and voicemail before Christmas about a special if I move in by 1/30/19 n the voicemail said they got my email injury and to call back (my inquiry is for april, why try to rush n move me in months before when I haven’t even seen the place) yet in the email I stated I worked a lot and that I would be easier to contact via email over general questions. I don’t want to waste my time/gas coming to this unit if I can avoid the hassle by getting a few question answered and having someone directly to work with so I can want to apply and move in but clearly as the reviews show they never respond and the staff all around needs to be replaced with REAL customer service reps because this ghetto voicemail and this ghetto process to get in contact with someone is ridiculous.

I’m currently a resident and recently rented the club house for my daughter 1st birthday party. The employee who they had work the party was extremely unprofessional and argumentative with my guest! When I called the property manager and made her aware of the situation she made me feel like I was a annoying her! I definitely will not be signing another lease and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

This place is absolutely fantastic! Ive heard some goods things, but also some horrible things about regal towers, and was really skeptical. Finally I decided to ignore the rumors and check it out for myself. I was so shocked. They are working extremely hard to give this building a great reputation. They are remodeling units and updating kitchens, they added 24 hr k-9 security as well as a front gate with security to make sure the riff raff stays out. They also have a beautiful gym, pool, and dance studio! The staff and management are so cool and they make you feel like family. Also, all the utilities are included in the rent except for electricity! You wont find better quality for the price, anywhere! I love regal towers!

Right On time for the summer! This place has an Olympic size pool, basketball, tennis, a convenience store and a full service gym. IJS I can cancel that $20 a month membership I barley use and workout right at home. Hands down the best prices and SAFETY in Southfield apartments.

I came to apply for a 2 bedroom a week ago and had a great experience. The place look nice and clean. The pool looks amazing and the leasing girls were nice and helpfulI read bad reviews online and was skeptical but after visiting other apartments in the area, I feel confident this apartments are the best as far as quality of service, amnenities, cleanness and priceMoving in next week and have no doubts this is going to be a great place for meI did my homework, I did research around and personally visited different apartments. This is is by far the nicest for the price and the quality of the service

I have been living at Regal Towers for 3 years so far and I can honestly say the good outweighs the bad. I understand with apartment living things are going to need repair, and problems will surface dealing with so many different people and personalities. I am a mother of two and my children and I feel safe here with the security and guarded entry gate. When things need repair, the staff is prompt and professional when solving the problem. Management has a way of making everyone feel valued and connected by having events and activities for us. Not to mention, in this area I know Regal Towers offers the best price with the most amenities.

I lived here years ago when I was a child with my mother. I moved out went to school, and ended up coming back and getting my own apartment here. I can honestly say I can see a significant difference since their transition in management. The property grounds are more well kept, the leasing staff is amazing and the management staff is efficient and friendly. Its not too often you feel important in a community of so many people. If there is a problem i am experiencing, the office staff works to solve it and you can tell they actually care. I would recommend regal towers to anyone that wants a safe affordable place to live.

A family member resides here. Clean and welcoming. The staff is welcoming and patient with all residents......including the differently abled. Movie night, trips to sport events, card games and other social events.

Coming from someone who’s been here for 8 years... It would be a BIG mistake to move love here. Hot water has gone out 3 times in less than 1 year ( including 2 weeks in the middle of winter! ), elevators are always down or not working, they charge for EVERYTHING, even when THEY’RE wrong! Management staff... ALWAYS RUDE!! They don’t care about the residents!

It’s alright for what you pay for but they need to do much better. Staff has a slow response time. They are bug central. I’ve never had bugs in my home, living here I’ve gotten bed bugs and roaches from other apartments. And the way they treat is by laying traps and say you can’t self treat. Overall okay for price but you can do better.

I have moved back to Regal Towers after being gone for 2 years and I must say I have been happier you all have opened your doors to me and have shown me much love and appreciation I have met life long friends here I would recommend everyone come and be apart of our community we events for the kids adults and also senior living I will always be grateful thanks again

I moved from Canada to Michigan for work, and needed a place to live. I can honestly say I am good tenant. Most of the time I was never there, I was at work a lot, and went home on the weekends.What caught my eye with Regal Towers was the model apartment showing (you do not see your place after you sign the contract, nor have a choice which unit to pick), a lot of parking space, somewhat cleanliness, the gym, and most importantly the security.When I started reviewing the place I was skeptical when I could not find an email address associated with the Regal Towers, but I surpassed it and signed an 8 month lease (which thank god I did not sign a year lease)Half way through my lease I got threatened to get evicted, and had to go out of my way to prove that they had made a mistake. (They did apologize for it)Also last winter was very bad; the parking lot did not get plowed for around a week...actually 2 weeks. I had to tell my job at the time (I had a VISA) that I could not make it to work because I had to embarrassingly tell them I cannot get out of my apartment complex because the parking lot did not get plowed.Did not get any compensation, or discount. Just a shrugWhat bugs me too, was that I had to fill out, and sign a Do NOT renew my lease agreement. Which I think is weird (and somewhat illegal). I had to work around my schedule with their business hours to get an application, fill it out, and have them approve it.Like I said, I am from Canada..what if I was too late and missed the deadline (which is 1-2 months in advance) then later find out that am I tied down to another 8 month, or 1 year lease....?What irritates me the most is when someone screws with me with my money. I put an over $800.00 security deposit. After I moved out, with no explanation they were not going to pay my full security deposit, and only pay me around $500.I called in advance to pick up my security deposit in person (months later when it was available) When I drove all the way from where I live from Canada to Southfield, Michigan the staff at the time told me they had lost it... I drove all the way there for nothingI was never home so I had really had no furniture, did not hang 1 picture, did not put the tiniest hole in the wall, no stains. If anything the place was better after I left, and still got around $300 deducted from my security depositI am going to find a way to submit pictures I took, through a hyperlink, along with my security deposit and audit check before I moved it, and emails requesting to repair the damages before I moved in - and show there is no way they should have deducted $300 from my security deposit let alone $20I would have come back to this place, if they did not screw me with my security deposit. Stuff like this really pushes me away from places like this.If you are willing to lose some money, and sometimes deal with inconveniences to resolve things that Regal Towers did on their end, then .... By all means move into this place

I went in here when I was searching for an apartment. I would never live here. Dirty apartments. Feels like apartments you would find in a crowded NJ/NY area, not in here. Your better off paying the extra few hundred dollars per month and go elsewhere.

Alexis was the most amazing leasing agent ever! She assisted me in all of my needs. Also, Dajiah was amazing in her willingness to stay after hours to help! I recommend Regal Towers.

Ive been living here at Regal Towers for 6yrs. It is a great place to call home. The leasing staff, the maintance staff are wonderful people. I truly enjoy the community here. Its a great place to live.

I have no complaints. Theyre big apartments, the whole place is clean and staff is usually nice. The gym is really nice too.

I just took a tour of the apartments and filled out an application. I love everything they have to offer. The apartment is a little small, but the location and price make it worth it. I cant wait to hear back from them.

There was always something wrong with either the dish washer, the sinks, the refrigerator, the toilet, the cabinets fell off because of the softened the the particle board. The maintenance men were very slow to get to the apartment to fix anything besides one younger man who lived at the apartments with his family. The Hispanic maintenance man never understood what you were saying and many times he just ignore our calls. We had a ceiling leak that was never repaired. When we first moved in the place was a mess, the sills,edges of the bathtub, the bathroom and kitchen cupboards had grime in them. The maintenance man never unclogged the bathroom sink so i had to do it. When I did i found a pound of hair and grime. You can always smell the cooking in all your neighbors apartments which would sound nice but all you really got was the burnt smells from stove and pans. Many people smoked in there apartment so we got to enjoy that as well. When we moved out they falsely charged us a cleaning fee for our stove and our refrigerator. If you know my mother she is a cleaning freak but is a good way for them to keep some of the deposit unless you remember to take pictures while moving your entire life and want to go to court for the next several months.. They overcharged us on the additional days we stayed in our apartment. We moved out in 4 days they charged us 6 days. They charged us a $25 Month to Month fee and didnt explain to us what it was for.Security was a joke, our back door was always open to anyone who wanted to come in. The door was bent so you could easily grab the bottom of the door and pull open.Every time I called the main office for the entire year and 2 months we lived there I never got a returned phone call.I was never late to pay rent and in March we were served a letter from Patricia Wise the collections manager about extra $25 fee that we needed to pay immediately but the letter did not tell us what they were for or why. I called Patricia Wise but she never returned my numerous phone calls.Overall it was a very bad year and 2 months experience. There are many low income people that live there that are easily taken advantage of, like myself, that dont have the money to spend on a lawyer and $200 isnt worth going to fight for as it would cost much more to battle their high paid attorney in court.

I would recommend Regal Towers to anyone. The location is extremely convenient and the staff is friendly. They work hard to make sure the buildings are clean. Great place to live.

Great community, prompt main response. Leasing & Management staff are so nice. K-9 security a huge plus.

Great location, near the expressways, shopping, entertainment and parks. Rent is priced very competitively and security is great.

I have lived here for over 7 years and this place has drastically improved during this time. In addition to all the upgrades, the customer service is now excellent. Today I received a courtesy call just to make sure everything was ok. Great apartments.

Have a problem? Get it fixed in a timely manner. Laundry rooms on every floor. Top notch security. Picnic facilities are great in summer. close to service freeways

Good staff.. Good parking.. Maintenance team is pretty fast.Cons: Roaches.. I use boric acid to keep them out. Havent seen any since. But they are still in the building.

Potential TenantToday is June 24th. I stopped in after being referred to review a one bedroom apartment. Entering the gate I was pleased to be stopped by security. I second noticed K9 Units on site.The exterior of the building not too bad. Some windows could use some updating but I guess that comes with every community.I almost turned around as the website hours and the hours on the door differ and from the outside they looked close and I did not see a leasing office button.However, after getting in I met Dorisa. She was very nice and attentive. She saw that I had my grandkids and offered them snacks and advised us of the park if they wanted to play after the tour.I reviewed the apartment. I thought very nice for a one bedroom. She explained to me about the rent, pet policy, the daycare, the store and even said theyll deliver for $2!She covered everything I needed to know and answered all the questions I had.First impressions are very important and she represented Regal Towers very well.If this is my place of choice I can only hope the rest of the staff has an open outgoing personality and is as nice as Dorisa.Thank you Dorisa for a pleasant experience.
