The seamstress is very easy to contact, professional, and decent work for a decent price. I had her hem a dress, removed cup pads, and stich the front closed some. Some of the edges we rough and threads not trimmed. But overall looked great in my engagement photos and looked great.

I recently had my bridesmaid dress altered with Mya-Ki alterations and she did a fantastic job. My dress was almost 2 sizes to big in the chest and straps, and I brought it home from out of state just 6 weeks before the wedding. She was able to get my dress to fit perfect, without it looking distorted from having to take so much in. It fits like a glove. Great quality work, great price for alteration and super quick turn around time.

I needed my dress hemmed for a wedding that Im attending this weekend, and decided to try Mya-Ki after reading reviews online. Jay is incredibly prompt with responding and scheduled me for an appointment the same day. I was worried the turnaround would be tight, but she finished it within 24 hours! The hem looks perfect and professional. I thought everything was well priced, including the rush fees, and the prices were true to what was listed online. Will definitely return for any tailoring needs in the future!

Jay is absolutely amazing! I called on a Sunday needing my wedding dress to be altered in a week. She fit me into her schedule that day and told me it would be done by Friday. Well she had it done by Wednesday and it was absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t believe how amazing she did in the short amount of time. She helped make my special day perfect!

If I could give fewer stars, I would! I got a couple of new shirts altered to better fit by having the sleeves shortened. As you can see from the pictures, the alteration was little short of a trainwreck with many threads hanging out and showing. The adjustment was not made for the button hole above the cuff either. In the end the alteration needs to looks as if nothing was done to it and it was made that way. That was not the case. If it was my business, I can’t imagine having workmanship like that. I’m not seamstress, but it seems like the difference should have been made in the shoulder and the cuff, not just the cuff.Final result, two ruined shirts and all for the amount of around $40! Terrible!

What a disaster! I needed to get my sons dress pants shortened. Jay had strong reviews and was able to have the job done in a few days. I normally go to another business for alternations but its a 2 week+ wait and I needed them ready for the weekend. I initially picked them up and discovered that Jay overlooked some gathering that occurred. She apologized and offered to have them corrected and ready the next day. The next day, Jay answers the door while talking on the phone and points to the hem on one leg and shuts the door. What?!? I take them to the car and take a closer look. Jay managed to tear the fabric in two places while correcting her initial mistake and doesnt have the integrity to take ownership of the fact that she ruined my sons dress pants. Dont bother supporting this small business. She lacks basic alteration skills and most importantly she doesnt have integrity. She should have refunded me the alteration fee and reimbursed me for the cost of the pants.

I am so impressed with Jay at Mya-ki. I took my wedding dress in for alterations. I was incredibly nervous to take my dress anywhere, but the torso and upper portion of the dress needed to be taken in quite a bit. The first consultation was amazing. She knew what she was talking about and refused to promise more than she could deliver. She gave me advice on what should and shouldnt be altered on my fit-and-flare style dress so that I would be comfortable all night long. Its obvious how important her work is to her. It has heavy beading on the bodice and sleeves, and it is backless, so she had her work cut out for her, but she did a fantastic job. The dress fits beautifully. She even made me a custom petticoat to go with the dress. Her prices are amazing, and I will happily use her services again in the future. I highly recommend her!
