I have to edit my previous review. They really went above and beyond in customer service. Eric was very responsive in the emails and scheduled me in the same week to get my gel extensions fixed. Not to mention they were busy on a Friday, so I definitely appreciate that they made time for me. My new nail technician was super detail oriented and my nails are now perfect. I cannot stop looking at my hands. (see photos). I am super happy and will definitely be back!

Review update : Eric was very helpful and responsive to my concerns. I am thankful he accommodated my sister and I to fix our nails. I will be returning due to their great customer service!It is very clean and everyone was very nice. Unfortunately 4 days later my gel manicure was chipped and peeling.

Gave this place three stars because of how clean and tranquil it was. Tech messed up my nails pretty badly, I was very patient as they tried different techniques to fix it . After sitting there way to long for a gel mani, it still wasn’t fixed I had to go. The owner/manager gave me a $10 gift certificate for next time but I felt I should have gotten the discount right there on the messed up nails. He said he wanted me to come back so he can fix it, but she didn’t even clean my cuticles so I already knew I wasn’t going back. Maybe I’ll give them a chance again in the future but def not any time soon.

It was an okay experience. Felt rushed and pedicure was okay. I had better experience at the luxi across the street. Will most likely stick to that one

Luxi nails is the best. They are quick, efficient, and I have never had a bad experience! They arent the best with crazy designs, but if you are looking for a simple manicure, this is the place to be.

Decent services. Efficient COVID checking procedures. Came with my daughter. Not the best pedicure as it felt rushed, but not the worst.

I have been here once before. Loved their services, but now I prefer the one across the street. Still a wonderful salon! Highly recommend the Luxi family.

I was a customer for a long time until the new owner took over. I would not ever go back. They rush you out like it’s a assembly line. Very happy where I am now. I hope a new salon goes in the new construction next door to them!

Compared to other nail salons that Ive gone to in my immediate area I would say that this is the best. There are two Luxi Nails so this review is for Luxi Nail II. It is a little more expensive than the same Luxi Nail across the street but I dont mind paying the extra money. The place is newer and the spa treatments used are a step up. A manicure pedicure cost $41 and I gladly pay it because the place is always clean (which is important to me) and I can get an appointment just about anytime or I can even just do a walk-in .

Still one of my most favorite places to go! While I like the 441 location, this is still a classic should the other location be too busy. I highly recommend this place!

Excellent service I went with my daughter today the atmosphere is really nice the worker s and the service is great my daughter and I love our nails. Also like the fact that not a lot of people were in the salon.

Sure, the salon can get busy, but thats because they do such a good job that their services are in high demand! Ive been around the block and no other salons compare. By the way Theresa, its very rude and immature to wish bad upon someone and thats exactly what youre doing.I will always be a huge supporter of Luxi!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I like that they are connected with the one near Panera. While I do highly prefer the other place, this will be my secondary place as they are related to the other one. Always love Luxi!

Ive been going here every two weeks for more than a year, and recently, when I picked a color that wasnt sparkly and requested one layer of sparkle on top of it, the manager berated the girl who did my nails for not charging me more. Number one, do NOT speak to your hard-working employees like that in front of a customer. Number two, I come every two weeks and pay your already high prices, and youre going to nickel and dime me over one coat of sparkle? I was shocked and uncomfortable and didnt address it in the moment, but it really turned my whole experience at this place sour. I will not be back.

Only giving this one star because I cant go any lower. THIS IS THE WORST NAIL SALON!! DO NOT GO HERE! I cannot believe this place. I went on Saturday with my mom and I was appalled. We both got a pedicure and manicure. While the nail technician was doing my moms pedicure, my mom asked if she would also be doing her nails. The technician responded, Oh I hope not. If the other nail technicians are not busy then Ill have someone else do them, but if they are, I guess Ill do them. My mom and I were shocked. The same lady ended up doing her nails. My mom had asked for coffin shaped nails and then ended up changing her mind. The nail technician responded, Oh good because I was going to tell you no because that would be more work for me. Her nails came out horrible. They were bubbled up. The technician who did my nails was too worried about being on her phone instead of paying attention to me. She cut me twice. She didnt even take of my nail polish completely before starting a fill. My acrylic came out bumpy. My mom called today to speak to the owner to tell her about what happened, and she hung up on her! What kind of owner does that? Trust me save your money! I suggest A&T nail salon. I will never come here again.

I wish I could say it was a Spa experience but it is not always such. Many of the personnel are great, especially Lourdes, she does and pays attention to the client needs . There are attention few other technicians who are also good. But some are so busy trying to see what the other technicians are doing. Recently I had one work on one hand and forgot to do most of the things she was suppose to do on my other hand, she did what I would call a 1/2:Ass job, I wont be using her again because she was busy watching what everyone else was doing and not me her client. Susan is great and also pleasant and professional. I think they need to retool and make the place an experience to remember not an experience. I have berm coming to this location when they were in Highland Park and Somerset since they opened. Its a convenient location. I hope they improve the quality of their service.

Absolutely LOVE the services and customer service at Luxi V, from the nail techs to Jeff the owner everyone is always pleasant and loves what they do! I’ve been a loyal Luxi customer since the family opened their salon in Highland Park many years ago and Luxi is always my first recommendation to friends or folks new to the area!

I cannot say enough great things about this location and the staff/owners of this location. Jeffrey, the owner, is so professional, mannerable and kind. Maritza and Marleny are top notch! Do yourself a favor and visit this glamorous and unbelievably clean retreat. You will not be disappointed!

Over priced and the woman who did my nails didnt even know what she was doing! She burnt me TWICE while utilizing the filling machine to do my nails and used entirely too much acrylic to fill my nails! Save your money and go to Millennium Nails on Main Street in South Bound Brook and ask for Heather! Shes an authentic Asian woman/ owner who knows how nails should be done! Ps.... Absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE!! You get A+ treatment here and the owner Sue remembers all regular clients BY THEIR FIRST NAME and greets everyone who enters her facilities with a warm welcome! She and her staff are amazing and really cater to their clients!! I always wonder how Sue can remember everyones name without even looking on the appointment list! This place is always packed ! So I recommend you make an appointment or get your nails done in the mornings on and day between Mon-Wed. Otherwise make an appointment. I have been a regular customer since they opened their doors in 2006!! I Highly recommend this place if you are looking for CLASS, CLEANLINESS, FREE MASSAGE and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Was at hand and stone spa by this facility which is phenomenal btw and stopped in here to get money for the person at the spa. I asked because I was curious how much for a full set with gel polish & this rude woman told me $ 90.00....... Aww hell no! Yall robbing people blind! Go to Millennium nails around the corner on main street in South bound brook, youll be glad you did!

My 83 year old grandma has been going here for years. After deciding not to drive anymore, she isnt able to go as frequently. I took her to get her nails done today and when we were at the counter to pay, they told her it would be $5 more than the normal price since she isnt coming every other week. I was absolutely disgusted and will never take here again. It is disgraceful for them to try to take advantage of an elderly woman.

What makes this nail spa different, their management team is on the floor, assisting the staff in small ways. This atmosphere, gives you the sense that they care for the business beyond what is expected from any other nail spa, I have visited.

They do nails well but the atmosphere is tense. Theres a guy that hovers over the ladies and it makes me feel uncomfortable and bad for them. The prices are also kind of expensive. Overall I dont think Ill go back.

Great place to get a much needed mani-pedi at the end of a busy week! Added bonus is the amazing back muscle relaxing massage the end of the visit.

I just left Luxi nails and I was appalled. I have been a client of Luxi nails for years as of today I will no longer patronize this establishment. Apparently the technicians pick and choose whom nails they prefer to work on. I was first to walk in and one of the male technicians walked up and asked me what I was getting done I said a regular manicure another woman of a different ethnicity walked in one minute after me with no appointment said she was getting a regular manicure as well he proceeded to do her nails first. I mentioned I was first and he said absoutely nothing he knew EXACTLY what he was doing. I know a lot of people who patronize this nailsalon as of today they will all know how I was treated and disrespected.

Because you people in that salon treated me, a paying customer and member of Luxi salon services, so badly, you will feel an impact in your sales. Want to know why? All of the customers watched in disbelief as that worker tried to embarrass me because she couldnt do nail art. Do you guys realize how uncomfortable that you made everyone in the salon?!? Then, you sent another worker that could do art, but charged me an additional $40?!? The worker literally itemized every detail! Why? When I showed my Luxi card and asked to speak with Sue, the owner, I was told that she was eating. She wouldnt even acknowledge me, a customer. If you come here, your nails will begin to break within the first to second week. I promise that.

Im usually not one to post reviews but I checked out angry .. walked in for a pedicure and asked how much a GEL pedicure was the owner told me $30 I said ok .. she didnt soak my feet to remove previous gel easily and was filing in opposite direction which was so jaw clenching and irritating. I had to tell technican to peel off the gel. I was so uncomfortable in the chair with my legs up to my stomach in order to put my feet into lights massage was quick and gloves werent neccassary. When leaving to pay its was $55 insane ! I dont even pay that much for my pink fill and gel color. I will not be coming back here. The owner wouldnt even come out to speak to me .. she was eating lunch. Unprofessional!!!!

I had been going to Luxi nails for over 10 years. First in Highland Park and then when they moved to Somerset. I have for the most part always had a great experience which is why I stayed with them for so long. I moved about 4 months ago so Ive been at a different salon ( love them Aree Nails in Holmdel ). I had a meeting in the area so I went in to get a gel manicure... BIG MISTAKE !! I was there for an hour and 15 minutes... Yes you read that right. My nails look horrible, the girl doing them had no idea what she was doing. She kept trying to talk me into a different color and when I wouldnt budge she didnt say another word to me the entire time. So I paid $35 for a gel manicure ( my new nail salon is $25 btw ) and my nails look horrible.
