I went there for a 10:00am massage I listened to the staff call the massage person to say tour 10:am is here. They checked me in to come 15 minutes in to tell me I should come back later. I asked to get the 11am from the same person at 11:45 they tell I can leave and that the manager will contact me at 2 because the person isn’t answering their phone. This after saying the person was in their car and 5 minutes away since 10:25. What’s frustrating is I had to keep asking for a status. The 2 ladies at the front didn’t provide any update if I didn’t ask they just had me sitting in the waiting area for all that time. I got there at 9:50 so that was a waste of 2 full hours. I will never go back. I used my gift card to buy products I don’t even needSave your time and money and go elsewhere. Zero professional etiquette
I have been a member for more than 4 years and have been told on several occasions that I needed to be rescheduled only after driving all the way to my appointment. Today this happened and I strongly suspect that the person did not to provide service to a Black man. When I arrived, The front desk person told me that she checked me in like always and to sit in the waiting room. Five minutes later, a guy walked on and said that my masuse was in the hospital. Wow. How could that be possible so quick. After I had been checked in. This is 2021. I was told a manager would reach out to me, but its obvious folk that it is what it is. All money is green. Be careful folks.
Read reviews about being charged without your knowledge, and unfortunately it happened to me. Pay attention to your bank charges! The person at the front desk told me a product was free (small 7 day samples), and shows free on the receipt. But, next thing I know, a charge appeared on my card that I was not made aware of. I dont mind paying for a product, however, if a mistake was made. I think it is courteous to call the customer, explain and notify the customer BEFORE processing charges- it is that simple. Dont wait for me to inquire and then tell me oh, thats for the product. After going back and forth, the charge was eventually reversed. Had membership for years in the past and definitely would not be using them again.
I went here for my prenatal massage! IT WAS AMAZING! I regret knowing my masseuse name but she was EVERYTHING! She focused on my shoulders and back which have been very very tense and I’m just lost for words it was nothing short of amazing! ❤️🙏🏽 Thank you so much!
Ive had several issues with this location. I think Ive tried almost all of the therapists at this location in hopes of finding someone who was a match. Didnt find one. I even took PTO in the mornings to find someone who may only be available to work in the mornings. Never found someone. Oh, then there was a time a therapist used so much oil on a deep tissue massage that I never felt any deep penetration into the muscle, and she used those hands to massage my scalp. I left with greasy head of hair!I had a facial here to use one of my monthly services, and the facial was AWFUL. Not the type of facial Im used to from other spas. It was basically my morning routine, with a hot towel service added on and a lousy shoulder rub.Finally, Ive had my massages cancelled on short notice several times. Finding a time to reschedule was always difficult since they almost never have someone available.Note: I always tip $20.00 regardless of the services provided. I know it comes down to therapist/customer match, but I just dont think there is a therapist at this location for me.I much prefer the Sugarloaf location. The Sugarloaf location has the best therapist Ive ever had, but I cant find the time to make it over there anymore. I suggest you try SpaStinny across the street in the Kroger shopping center. They have better therapists and more availability.

I have been to other Massage Envys in the past, and this is the place to go! Not only is the front desk staff helpful, everyone is professional. Right now, they are having you wear a mask during your session, but it puts a little ease to mind, with everything going on. They are very helpful and management does everything possible, to keep their clients happy. I am proud to be a client here!

Massage Envy Snellville did a fantastic job!! When I first went in, I was not sure what I was looking for. The workers at the front desk were super helpful in figuring out what I wanted and the manager that I spoke to, Caroline, was SO kind and knew just how to help!! She was very professional in our interactions. The massage was amazing and the massage therapist were very professional as well and for my first massage, I did not feel uncomfortable at all.
Staff and therapist are always wonderful to work with. The clinic manager Caroline is always wonderful to see and speak to when I am there for an appointment.Great service and wonderful staff !Would definitely recommend!
In February 2020 I signed up for a month memberships. In March they closed down because of COVID 19 for an unforeseeable time. In March my account was charged a monthly memberships fee. I called the business canceled the membership multiple times.(5x) left messages ect. Finally I wrote an e mail and called and got a response. They said they could not refund me my money but they offered a free 30 min message (its not free if your not refunding me my money). I specifically asked them to cancel my membership they agreed. In April 14 th 2020 I was sent a form to have my account canceled for 1 month and a free 30 min message. I did not response because my account should have already been canceled, especially not for 1 month. From May 2020 to October 2020 my account has been charged although I specifically call and left messages and e mails asking for my account to be canceled and not charged. Since November 6 till current as of November 9th Ive left messages and asked to talk to a manager concerning my account. Today I was told since I did not fill out the Cancelation forms from April with the 1 (30 days) month Cancelation I can not recop/receive my money back but they will cancle my account in which I had already asked to do in March. Why are they canceling my account now with me verbally asking and getting up set with them when I asked them before verbally to do so as well. They were closed in March and you were not able to physically come in to fill out a Cancelation forms. I even drove to the facility to do so.. This is wrong and they will not get away with steeling my money. Ive served this country for 17 years and this is by far the worst Ive ever been treated a A retired Service member. They have not responded to my calls and they stole my money. Im seeking legal counsel as Im writing this and reporting these incidents to the BBB. Ive already contacted the Message envy corporate office in Arizona as well. Play with me!!!
Weve tried calling this location 6 different times since signing up for their membership to schedule an appointment and did not receive a call back once. When I finally got someone on the phone to cancel our membership they said I must show a doctors note or else they will continue to charge for the membership service. Completely unprofessional and fraudulent business.
I’ve had a few different massage appointments at this location, each with different massage therapist. ALL of them were AMAZING during my experience. Kenny was the BOMB, and I will definitely be back soon! He was very polite, and made sure that I felt comfortable. Perfect amount of pressure, he even asked how much pressure I was comfortable with. He was probably my favorite massage yet! Definitely felt my best when I was leaving!! The girl up front greeted me as soon as I walked through the door and they were super sweet & helpful! I didn’t catch her name, but she made my experience even better!! Super positive attitude!!

I had been a member at this location for a year or so and have seen the quality of service go down. I had the experience of waking up during a massage only to find the male massage therapist exploring my genitalia. I filed a complaint with the manager/owner who I met with on a different occasion. Her approach was to brushed it off as my imagination. And to say that many massage therapist come close but not touch which was not my case. After consulting with an attorney, I elected to not file a law suit but feel that people need to know. BTW this not the only negative thing I have experienced but surely the worse.
Everyone at this location is amazing! Great massages and great customer service! My account accidentally got canceled out, but Natalie and her manager were able to get it fixed and got my session credits added back. LOVE Massage Envy!!

Massage wasnt bad. Could have applied more pressure. Also they want to have a conversation while I try to relax. Less talking more massaging. Definitely not worth $90 for 60 minutes. No greeting upon entry.

Do not waste your time. I had a absolutely horrible experience working here. The pay is not as advertised on indeed ($30-$40 /hr). It’s $10 a hr, the clients rarely tip and there’s not a lot of business. I tried to stay but I wasn’t getting clients.When I quit. The manager, Caroline spikes sent 2 Gwinnett county Sheriffs to my house to question me about someone’s wedding ring that was misplaced. They said I was a suspect because I quit. Really I feel was profiled because I was the only African American working when there the day she lost her ring. But I had no access to her belongings so I was mind blown.I went back up to Massage Envy to ask Caroline if the police were sent out to the other 8 therapist houses that were working with me that day and she said no .I’m tired of being treated unfairly and massage envy left a really bad impression.Hands down 0 starsThe cops immediately left after I showed them the ad that falsely advertised $40 / hr and I was getting paid $10. It still was unnecessary to send them to my residence without good cause or my permission. I feel totally violated.
This was the first time Ive been there and the massage was amazing. The company however was not what I expected. Dont get the extras because they will charge you extra (which was known) AND take away time from your massage (which was not known). Basically an hour and a half massage with some extras will be a 45 minute massage. Unless you want to be ripped off by paying more for less time then go for it. If anything go on separate occasions to get a massage and then the extras. Overall I will not be going back nor will I recommend this place.

Clean facility, nice staff and David was an awesome therapist. Firm pressures and he incorporated several stretches into the 90 minute treatment. He also gave suggestions for stretches I could do in between treatments to help. Im in the area from out of state, wish I was closer...I would definitely come back!
Very poor management at this location. First available weekend appointment was over two weeks out, so scheduled the appointment. After the two week wait, had several missed calls a couple hours before my appointment, called back was informed the therapist called out and they could do a stretch at 1pm instead. However, I didnt order a stretch so this isnt a valid attempt at finding another option. No massage alternatives were provided, no rescheduling was offered. The manager wasnt available to speak to. And when I inquired, no offer to have the manager call me back was made. Ive been to several massage envy locations and have membership, and i can tell you that the management at this particular location has some serious deficiencies. This is not how you treat a customer, how you train your front staff, how you handle scheduling issues and call outs. You get someone to cover your therapists shift on a Saturday. If no one at your staff is available, you call around and see if another location can send someone to cover. If none of that works, you come in on your day off and cover the shift yourself. Or you dont do any of this, and dont even offer to reschedule the customer, and you hope to stay in business based on location and foot traffic, and not review strength. Good luck.
My first visit was absolutely horrible wish I could give zero stars. At first glance I was impressed with the staff. Once called back, you are taken down the dark hallway to your message therapist room where she ask, do you need to use the bathroom before starting. I walked into the half lite bathroom to find a scene from a horror movie. Using the light to my phone, I could see that there was urine all over the floor and on the toilet set. I wasnt using that bathroom! I didnt want something crawling up my kitty uninvited. Having had several messages before by other companies, I had never seen such a dark place. Upon entering my massage therapist dark room, I smelled an old nutty scent. When I asked her what was that smell she said well that is the oil I use during my message. To make matters worst, during the entire message she talked about her bad back and knees. She told me she was part-time. She talked about her children clothing. Making my message more about her than about me. Once the time was up. I could smell that oil coming off my body leaving me with a sick feeling to my stomach. To make matters worst, my message therapist gave a dirty cup of water which I handed back to the receptionist upon leaving. Word to the wise. If you are just looking for someone to rub you down then this is the place. Not clean at all. All hidden under muted light.

I had a 4:15 appointment at this location for a 90min massage. As I walked in the door there were 2 ladies sitting behind the counter. One was on the phone and the other was doing some paperwork. I wasnt greeted immediately but I figured it was because they were busy. I filled out my intake form and specified my desired areas for the massage. Once on the table and the massage started, I was startled immediately! The lotion she was using was super cold and I had already told her that I was sensitive to the cold. I asked if they used oil and she basically told me that it was HER preference!!! Ummmm..... Didnt I pay for MY service? The massage itself was very mediocre.She even left out an entire area!!!Ive had massages at several places but Ive never been so ready for my massage to be over!!!!!
I went to this location for the first time and it was excellent. I was given a gift card as a Xmas present from my children n I finally decided 2 use it with my daughter by my side n Im so glad I did.The staff had such a great attitude.Tamara did a splendid job so I left her a tip 4 her services. Overall, Ive gotten excellent massages by different therapists. Prefer Sylvia over the others due to her techniques and genuine caring attitude. HOWEVER, Got stood up by different therapists on two occasions. Seems to be no procedures in place to make sure Therapists are there. But, been going there for years and all else is well and great.
I enjoyed the experience of going to this location. Cathy did an excellent job in making me feel comfortable during my massage session. I left a tip to show my appreciation for Cathys service. I will definitely go back to this location because the customer service was great!
Used to love this place. They are all just sales people. The person who does facials called my genuine OBAGI products fake just because she was trying to upsell some other product for an inflated price. They are so scared to touch you that your massage feels like you are just getting lotioned. Their front desk person thinks they know all the rules. Ask for a supervisor because Im not sure who put the front desk person in charge
Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Therapist Fran worked so professionally and super well to get the mass of knots/tightness out of my neck, shoulders, and whole back. I have had lots of massages over years for same problems, and she is one of the BEST! Thank you!

Worst massage ever. Could have put on lotion myself. Paid for deep therapy and got rubbed with icy hot and was told that was deep therapy. Could have went to a real spa immediately after. A good massage will make me feel better for days.

This location is the worst Ive ever visited. They have a few good massage people but front desk staff is awful. Today they refused to break a 50 so i could leave a tip! Any other purchase they would take my money but not for the tip? Find any other location or a privately owned practice is my advice.

I visited about 6 weeks ago and had a facial by Christy. I told her I have sensitive skin and she recommended that I purchase Obagi from them. I used it for a few wks and my skin actually got worse. I did not plan on going back to this location because it seemed they didnt know how to deal with sensitive skin but I had a gift card. I went yesterday and Kenzie took care of me and and said by the looks of my skin I was having an allergic reaction to Obagi. She spoke with her manager and they said for me to bring the product in and I could return or exchange it. She asked that I bring it back in today. I go up there today and the Assistant Manager told me she could not help me and I would have to come back. She did not try to help in any way. Kenzie did a great job on my facial and actually helped soothe my very irritated skin but they really need to figure out customer service with their managers. Its not convenient for me to keep going up there to return product that they assured me was good for my skin but actually made it worse.
I am so disappointed! I went for a 60 minute facial at 5pm and was taken back 20 minutes late. By the time she did the intro and left me to get settled my session did not start until 5:30. When she was done and I set up the clock on the wall read 6:06! I am especially upset that I asked at 5:14 if I would get a full hour and was assured that I would. When I checked out I was not offered a discount, but was offered the option of tacking on extra time to my next session....THERE WILL NOT BE A NEXT SESSION HERE!!!!! NEVER EVER get a massage from Massage Envy on Valentines day. The experience was AWFUL. Therapist really didnt want to be there and it showed in her strokes. She talked the entire time about her boyfriend, and how she couldnt celebrate because she had to work. Also, I paid extra to have a sugar foot scrub that was not worth a penny.

Good Afternoon,My name is Carlea Hammond and I had five massage appt scheduled for March 30 at the Scenic Hwy location and we are from out of town but we chose this location because we were celebrating my sisters 21 bday. As we were on the way to this location Saturday I got a call that the person doing one of the parties massage called out and the center was completely booked so they had to cancel his appt. So I advised them that I would give up my slot for him to be able to get the massage that was planned. They did give him 50% off his massage but I received nothing and I find that to be unsatisfactorily. I work with customers every day. I honestly felt no compassion from the young lady on the phone at all. So as the four other parties were nice and relaxed I was sitting in a hot car from 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm.
Tough to get appointments on short notice but staff has been very polite every time Ive gone in.

Just had an awesome massage by Drew! I had begun walking regulary to lose weight and my muscles tighten in my leg. Most people would think that would be a sign to stop walking. Well, Drew worked his magic and massage the tighten muscle until it released. Thanks my leg feels alot better.
We had a very bad customer service experience with Courtney, the owner. My wife was told it was her last massage late last year and she was led to believe her obligation was over. She has made no appointments since 2014 but they have been charging our credit card every month. Didnt notice until today, on April statement. Courtney claims a confirmation email and call was made each month. We have never received any confirmations and blindly assumed we were clear. Be careful, Courtney was not customer oriented on todays phone call.

I have been twice the first time I went with my girlfriend and I was not relaxed at all. The therapist was really rough and I was actually sore leaving. I went the second time thinking it was just that therapist but the second time a different therapist help and I stil felt the same way. I am not going to go back to this place.
My wife bought me a gift card for my birthday worth $50 and I had to cancel my appointment. For my surprise when I wanted to make a second appointment to redeem my gift card there was no more credit left! They said they had to charge the full amount of the service for canceling. .. As you can imagine I am very upset! They have lost a potential customer!

I told 4 people at the Snellville location I was cancelling . I still got charged . Now they are saying I did not submit the paperwork. Of the 4 people NO ONE told me about paperwork. This is a game to continue charging my card.

This place has the worst service ever. They are very racist, rude and they have the worst customer service ever. the front desk staff is disrsepectful to the customers, the manager is ever worst and the one is the worst of them all because she encourages the staff to be disrespectful to the customers. frankly i think she hired all her friends and family as to why all of them are that way. when you complain to the owner about her staffs attitude, she start talking crazy to you the paying customer. I am going to report them to the better business bureau and equal opportunity board. i have on video and audio her and her staff talking rudely to a paying customer. the customer was a black woman. the same scenario happened with a white customer and her reaction was completely different. We have tested this many times and saw how they treated their black customers terrible and treated the whites likes royalty. i have never seen a place with such nasty people inside and out. I am telling all my friends that were thinking of going there to make sure to never step foot in that place or the one in buckhead as well. I will be notifying them to groupon as well. groupon should stop doing business with them.
