Not sure why you would EVER go to European Wax Studio when this GEM of a waxing studio is around the corner. Karen is so warm, kind, inviting, and makes the whole experience seamless from beginning to end. She truly is an expert with years of experience, and the wax/technique she uses is the best Ive ever had (and Ive lived in 6 different states!). This place is a hidden gem! Karen and her staff are incredible. They are so welcoming and kind. Karen is very knowledgeable and was great about educating me about my face and skin care. I work in the hospital so I have been getting bad maskne due to COVID. She was able to clean up my face no problem and my skin feels amazing again. Even before COVID when I went to see her, my face was glowing afterwards. If you are nervous about safety for COVID, I felt very comfortable while I was there. They were taking all the right precautions. I would recommend this place to anyone!! I wish I could give them 10 stars

Karen is back open in Massachusetts after waxing salons were allowed to reopen during COVID-19. Karen and her assistant are extra careful and sanitizing everything in the entire room between clients. Other precautions are being taken to ensure safety. She asks that clients stay outside of the office between clients as well as wear a mask. Facial waxing is still available and Karen wears extra protective gear for those sessions. I just did a wax a few days ago here and felt very safe. Ive been working with Karen for a few years now and its wonderful to hear shes back open again even during these difficult times.

I love Karen!!! I been going to her for years and she has a way to make you forget during the process. Her place is clean and neat. Its easy to schedule an appointment and she will work with you. I refuse to go anywhere else because she has set the bar so high. Keep up the good work Karen!

I have been going to Karen for many years now, and I have never had a better wax experience! Bikini waxes arent pleasant, but Karens personality puts you at ease, and you almost forget that youre lying on a table with your pants off. :) Her eyebrow-wrangling skills are just as impressive. I have had strangers come up to me and compliment my eyebrows; that is an odd experience that never happened before Karen started grooming them. Her business is also located in the center of Coolidge Corner, so its a fun area to hang out in before and after your appointment.

Karen is nothing short of phenomenal. With years of experience, she is incredibly knowledgeable and brilliant at what she does. She makes waxing as pleasant and painless an experience as waxing can be. I am so glad I discovered her boutique spa and will continue to go to her for as long as I live in Boston!

Ive been going to Karen (and now her employee Paige) for over 5 years for waxing services and I can confidently say they are the BEST in Boston. They make waxing as pain free as possible and they are both incredibly nice. Shes raised her prices over the years and a Brazilian wax will cost you a hefty $65, but Id say quality is pretty important for this type of service. So worth the money and you will not regret coming here.
