My first visit to this place and it was very pleasant. My nail technician was professional and one of the best Ive had in quite a while. She was very nice. The place was very clean. The employees that I did talked to were professional. I will be returning to this location.

Great job. 1st visit. I had to make an appointment that morning for the afternoon. They seemed very busy the last time I came.Very precise and listened to what I wanted. Very quiet and peaceful experience. Massage chairs were clean and relaxing.I had the mood change gel and I am very pleased!... after 5 years with my other salon, I may have a new favorite.Update: 2nd visit was more expensive for the same service but not done as well. I guess its hit or miss. The color is pretty. But my nails look nothing like before, where she straightend along the sides and manicured my nail bed more. Both are mood polished pics but in my new shots some nails are angled and uneven. Just 😔 Service was nice... Maybe next month with the provider I had the 1st time.

My experience has always been a pleasant experience each and every time I went but on this visit, she was ticked off about a simple quote about a price. 1st, I never said that she was raising her price on me, I simply quoted that the price was different(joking about it), she lost her cool without listening to what I said. Well anyway, she said that she didn’t like it and walked away after I cashed out. Well I’ll never go back anyway... there’s another one around the corner that gives excellent service with a smile, plus the price is $10 cheaper for the same services. Plus the availability for going in and out is quicker. Good Quantity and Quality.. Good Luck 🍀

Good customer service! But Nail tech just doesnt do well with powder dip! My nail was way too thin! They were breaking the next 2days & thats unacceptable for the price I paid!

They were so lovely! I haven’t been so relaxed in YEARS and they were able to take my stress away with just a pedicure! They did such a great job and were so kind! I definitely recommend!!

When quarantine time, I haven’t gotten any pedicure done and then I now have problem with my big toes nails. The lady has such a kind heart and was so nice to spend time for my pedicure. She did explain why my toe nails got that problem and how to take care of it in very details. I’m so glad to come in here and got a good service. ❤️❤️❤️

I’m new to the area and finding a new salon/nail tech was starting to feel impossible! I went to my previous nail tech for almost 3 years and my dip always lasted weeks. After moving here I tried 4 other salons in the area and the dip never lasted longer then two weeks. I knew it wasn’t the dip itself because I’ve been getting it done for years.I decided to give Nails 1st a try and I’m so grateful I did!! For the first time since moving here my dip lasted!!My is the best! She is so sweet and fantastic at what she does. I just went 4 weeks with my last set. Not only does it last, she styles my nails perfectly and she always helps me pick out the color!I highly recommend My but all the staff seem like they do a great job and they greet everyone like they’re regulars!

Ive been here plenty times for years and have never had an issue till last week when i went for a pedi with my sister. My sister and i had a different tech than normal, first time with this new one but we both had the same tech. And my god was she horrible. I was called over and left alone after the water started long enough for it to overflow. Another tech literally had to turn it off for the new tech. Then she comes back and sees her mistake and goes into the back again for another long time just to come back with like three towels. Which honestly i didnt mind, i liked the water and its not like i was pressed for time nor cleaning the mess but i am mentioning it to show the red flags of how incompetent she was BEFORE she even touched my feet. Then she starts the service and my god i felt like i was being skinned alive. There was blood and her spray burned those cuts. But i am not the type to make a scene so i decided i was simply not going to tip her. And i wasnt even asking for polish like how do you mess that up. She rings us up, but couldnt even do that correctly as i was charged what my sister had tipped her when i put down no tip whatsoever. I go home and thats when the real pain starts. My feet were way too sensitive to touch so much so that i couldnt even sleep without literally wincing in pain every time i wanted to shift my feet. This went one for three more days. So from monday to thursday my feet were in pain from that awful service. So i called today since i was in town to get this resolved because not only was i charged incorrectly but i was also in pain days on. After explaining how bad that tech messed up in everything the lady said they simply cannot refund the service but are able to give me back the tip i didnt intend to pay for. Later the lady texts me saying sorry i didnt recognize you on the phone i remember you and youve always been nice to us etc yet still offered no real solution for how i paid full for a poor service. And whether im a regular or not should not change how you approach clients and provide customer service when stuff goes wrong like this. I wanted a full refund for a reasonable cause and was just given a brick wall to talk to. So i hope when and if you go after reading this you have no issues like i mostly did but if you do have an issue just know you will not be properly compensated for their mess. Theyll claim a service still needs to be paid for despite being explained to like a five year old that the service was literally bloody and painful for days. No one should have to pay for awful service.

This is without a doubt the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Had my nails done 8 days ago and when I returned to have them examined the woman at the front humiliated me and laughed in my face. Including talking to other customers instead of assisting me in a timely manner. These are hard times for everyone and I was looking for a simple fix and she rudely shuffled me off. I would never return here let alone encourage someone waste their time or money.

I had my first experience here and it was absolutely fabulous. I stopped in this afternoon in need of a manicure for a meeting tomorrow. My nails are in rough shape with old gel polish that I did myself and didnt remove properly. I just wanted a quick clean up and some fresh polish. The gentleman running the desk said they were completely booked but ended up being able to accommodate me. The service was wonderful, nail therapist was super nice and detailed plus fun and easy to talk too. The atmosphere is fun and up beat yet relaxing and comfortable at the same time. Very attentive staff that seems to enjoy working together and making operations smooth. Great customer service. All in all a great experience, Im really happy I stopped in and I will definitely be back .

I went in for the first time with an appointment. Everyone was very friendly and gushed a bit over my long natural nails. I liked my nail tech, who was happy to discuss world travel and different cultures with me. She had wonderful attention to detail, while maintaining a reasonable appointment time. The salon is busy and I understand why. My nails look so great and Im extremely pleased. Ill definitely return.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had, rude and inexperienced. My nails look awful - got them done today and already have an appointment elsewhere to get them removed. Extremely overpriced for the bad work they did. Disappointed to say the least.

I will never go there again, and no one should. It was a bad experience and spoke to me like I was a dog. My nail shape was different with every single finger and I felt very awful and didn’t want anyone to see them. Also the color is light and they didn’t put enough coats for it to look professionally made.

Very unprofessional! My daughters went here an Saturday. My daughter showed picture picked colors for dip nails. Lady doing her nails changed the color saying the colors she picked would look better.. After she was done my daughters nails were lumpy on the sides and so crooked. Her grandmother requested they fix them and the nail tech while fixing my daughter nails that were horrible said” maybe she needs to go to school for nails so she will be satisfied” seriously an unneeded comment making my daughter feel super uncomfortable! We will never visit this place again.

They do not have good manners and they did my nails very bad. The color is starting to get eaten from all around and it looks so bad. They made me feel like I wasn’t worthy to be there and I felt very uncomfortable the whole time. Please don’t go there I don’t want anyone to feel like I felt.

Great place to get everything done!!! Very loyal clients, and humble atmosphere. Sometimes very busy due to the walk in clients on some days, but is worth the wait. If you can make an appointment, usually helps too. Staff is wonderful and welcoming attending to your expectations. Been coming here for about 5 years now and great service and wonderful staff. OPEN SUNDAYS!!!!!

I am absolutely in love with Kim and Ben. They have been doing my nails for over a year and Ive never had a complaint. Kim is my go to for eyebrows and shes also a good nail tech. They play the softest music giving you an amazing and calming experience. Beverages are available and they keep the latest nail polish. I cant say one bad thing about this place I will NEVER LET anyone else touch my nails or eyebrows. Before quarantine just walk in everyone here is amazing but now you should schedule your appointment recently because of the covid-19.

Had a wonderful experience. Everyone was super nice and friendly. Typically I dont like speaking to individuals doing my nails because I like to just relax but it was a light conversation and I was still able to relax. Love this salon and will definitely be coming back!

I dont normally go to a nail salon but my wife took me to go with her. I got a signature pedicure and needed it badly. We were greeted and it was quite a pleasurable experience. The people were so nice and took great care of us. My wife says that this is the best place in Smyrna. Pleasant!

What an amazing experience! I called in to see if there would be a wait for a walk-in, and they fit me right in! I got a mirror manicure from Kim, and she did a fabulous job! She made sure I was comfortable and made sure everything was perfect!!!

It was my first time visiting them to get my nails done (unfortunately I didn’t get the name of my person ☹️) but I absolutely loved how my nails were done and the friendly environment! They are very good at what they do and with communicating with you so you can get exactly what you want!

They are the best! So nice and helpful. My nails looked amazing, my feet felt great and so relaxing. 10/10 would recommend!!!

I only came here for my pedicure and waxing but was so wonderful. The music is Christian and not too loud but a nice level that you can hear it and still be comfortable having a conversation or just relaxing. The chairs are a pretty color and comfortable. The technician was very accommodating and nice. Great experience!

Kim is perfect. Had the best pedicure of my life from her, but mainly the way she does my nails! I havent been able to find someone who I was satisfied with in so long, but she gets the shape flawless every single time. My nail anxiety is completely gone with her.

It’s very pleased to come in here. This is the only salon that I will ever go to in the for the rest of my life! I.LOVE.THIS.PLACE!! I have been to other salons in the city, but this is my absolute favorite one. The owner is such a sweetheart. She as well as the rest of the staff are very professional and friendly. They have the best variety of nail colors and options, including my new favorite, the protein dipping powder nail color. My nails are typically brittle and only grow a certain length, but with the protein powder I have seen tremendous length and health restored to my nails. A must try!! I was a gel girl until I was introduced to the protein dipping powder. I cant go back to gel ever again. The powder even lasts up to 4 weeks on my real nails which is 2 week longer than the gel polish.

This place is a scam after quarantine. Guess they are needing their money back from bring closed. Staff was unprofessional. I was charged 90$ for a full set of nails. Because I wanted 2 different colors? Ive been to several different nail shops wanting 2 colors and never was charged more then 60$. They were very rude. As if it was inconvenient to be there. Horrible experience

This is the BEST place in Smyrna! Customer services and atmosphere is wonderful. I just want to come in here after a long day of work. They definitely know what you need. Ask for Kim and she will hook you up! My nails always always looked great with her work.

Nails 1st is my favorite nail place I’ve ever been to. The customer service is great. Everyone there is extremely friendly, especially Ben. My nails turn out perfect every time. I moved over an hour away, but still come back here just to get my nails done. I won’t go anywhere else!

I am very happy with my nail

I was so happy with my dipping nails when I got them done here. My nails were last up to 4 weeks, sometimes I’ve gone for 5 weeks, they were still hold up pretty good and shiny. This is my favorite place forever!

Very patient and clean. All the techs are really great but Ban is my favorite. He always has me laughing and he does my nails to perfection. I love length to my nails and he ALWAYS gets me right!!!! Did I mention they are extremely affordable as well.

I had an extremely experience when I stopped by randomly here Labor Day today. They were super slammed cuz most other places were closed. A gentleman he spent time to do my gel pedicure. He did an awesome job of massage my feet. I’m coming back to see him again in 3 weeks.

Favorite place to have a manicure and pedicure. Highly recommend the dip nail technique because it lasts for weeks and isnt damaging to your nails. No more chips or smears like with regular nail polish.

Very first time was the worst experience ever. I left without nails being finished. Which was charged 15$ because they could not do want I wanted. My niece skin was split open twice. She was charged 85$ for a full set. Ms Kim and the man had the worse possible attitude from the minute we walked through the door. I left because I was unhappy so Ms. Kim thought it would be professional to charge 100$ of unworthy performance. So sad

If I could give 0 stars I would. Kim is HORRID. I visited this location 2 weeks ago and got the EXACT SAME THING and and Kim charged me an extra $15! They nickel & dime for EACH service. Who charges an extra $5 for a nail shape? A nail shop who doesnt get much service. I used to frequent that establishment in 2008 for a few years but quit going. Now I remember why. Im NEVER returning. It would behoove you to do the same; LaBelle Nails around the corner is WAY BETTER and much more reasonably priced.

AWFUL PLACE!!!! Me and my best friend scheduled two manicure gel polish appointments this past Sunday 06/26/2016 for 2:30. We arrived almost 10 minutes early. They took us back late (15 minutes) and we just sat there. They started with me and my friend had to sit there the entire time I got my nails done. When they had me soak my fingers and nails in water the water was cold not warm. Overall very sloppy. The place did not seem very clean. It has only been 5 days and they are already starting to chip. I have had gel polish before and it has lasted way longer (2-3 weeks). DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!

The most unprofessional place first of all my Nails were lumpy and I just ignored it but they needed up getting worse a week later and I don’t do any physical work so nothing could have caused this but them rushing my nails . I went back to express my concerns and try to get them fixed and the owner was so unprofessional

Upon entrance, the tech asked me what kind of service I wanted. I told him pink and whites. He let me wait for over 30 mins before saying they no longer did pink and whites because the smell of the chemicals were too strong.

The location is right next door to Kohl’s and dollar tree plaza. I have been going here for the last 3 years and have received nothing less than perfect service. This place is awesome. The customer service is outstanding, and they have a variety of colors and designs to select from. They do not try to upsell you and assist you based off your needs and that is something I appreciate! The best time time to come in is during the week less of a wait, but the wait is sooooo worth it!! It is not easy to locate a good salon and I finally found a great place. Best Quality nail shop in the Davidson, Rutherford county area. Thank you nails first Smyrna, for all you do!

The slowest, sloppiest nail salon ever. I waited 4 hours to get a pedicure and full set. I had to have my original acrylic soaked off (I already waited 2 hrs at the time for pedicure). Buy instead of soaking them like a professional, the man began to rip them off, which damages your nail bed. I told him several times it hurt and asked if he could soak instead, with an attitude and huge sigh, he said I was gonna have to wait even longer because he had other customer to get to. I was paying for a service just like they were and how can u get mad and tell me I will wait longer. Throughout the process, he got up several times in the middle of doing my nails to work on other ppl without saying a word and I still had to wait. there was also dips and grooves in my acrylic when he was done and the length did not match on both hands.Never going back. This shop needs to hire more technicians to handle customer and make sure they are professional and trained.
