I took my puppy to get a full experience at pet smart. He got a bath, his teeth brushed, and nails cut. When I picked him up and had him in the car, I realized blood on my shirt. I looked at his nails and saw that they clipped his dewclaw nail in half. If you know anything about dog, its hard for this nail to get injured on its own. When I went back and told them Alexis said Yeah I forgot to tell you about that when you picked him up. It was like that when you brought him. I know that his nail was not like this when I brought him because I looked at them the night before.

I went in looking a cheap training collar the lady that helped me went above and beyond to help me didn’t get the cheap one got next collar up. I really appreciate the help..

They didn’t have what I came in for, but the customer service was awesome. Great small location

It’s a very small store very cramped in there and not a huge variety to choose from. I’ve also noticed that their online pricing is different than their in-store pricing and they told me they don’t honor the online pricing in store. So my best opinion that I can offer is to order online ship to store and just pick up.

This location offers great grooming services, I bring my baby’s to them and I always will! They have never let me down and treat my pups like their own ! That’s what people want in a grooming salon. With all the groomers around it is defiantly hard to get good ones . We prefer Alexis for our grooming sence she’s been doing them for YEARS but Natalie is wonderful as well when Alexis is booked up! I would wait months to bring me dogs to them and I appreciate you both ! THANK YOU PETSMART

Every nice employees and had the stuff we needed but there was pee on the floor by the cat area.

Ive never once gone in here and not been treated poorly. The staff needs some race sensitivity training cause Ive only seen the staff service non black customers. At least in my experience Ive only been treated kind by a singular staff member the rest have treated me second class

The employees are friendly and always very helpful. This PetSmart is small and they cant carry everything like the larger PetSmarts. They have impressed me utilizing the space they have. PetSmart is my Go to for my fur babies!

Grooming salon staff are always so helpful ! They always awnser all my questions and address my concerns . I was told to come to Alexis and Natalie from a neighbor who has been using them for her shihtzus for a few years now . They did not disappoint, the cut was awesome and they always grind there nails smooth and short ! Really suggest both girls to anybody who is not sure where to go, my baby boy loves coming here! 😀

The lady that waited on me was very helpful she showed me how to adjust the collar that I was buying for my dog and he recommended the toys that I bought very professional service

Went in today around noon to get supplies for my cat. The associate was polite enough to help me find the drinking fountain for 15.99 and we also ran across a cat tower for 24.99 I asked her several times since she was the one who pointed out the low prices was that correct, she said yes, Only to get me to the register and the fountain was 49.99 and the tower was 94.00, Really pet smart, I may be new to pets but Im not new to spending my money. So I asked could I receive those things for the price that was on the shelf, of course I was told I could not be accommodated, but you admitted one of your associates put them in the wrong place. So No Pet Smart in Smithfield NC will not be getting any of my hard earn money. I will find another place to purchase my pets needs.

Returned home to find my box of 30 crickets had only 4 live ones. Not worth the 40 mile round trip to go back.

I went looking a dog sweater which was out of stock but found a coat for a Siberian husky. I also purchased a treat for all my fur babies. I was impressed by the staff and willingness to help me find what I was looking for.

The adoption process was fast, painless and a furbaby has a forever home.

Ms Alexis was my Suzys groomer and she did a wonderful job. Thank you so much for making Suzy look so beautiful.Suzy tends to get a very bad tear stains under one of her eyes and Alexis was able to clean her off.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. Its a smaller store but, have the basic needs. They also provide grooming. My 2 year old Goldendoodle has only been groomed here. They do an excellent job and my dog loves the staff!!

I like that pets are welcomed here. But it can be a bit chaotic on the weekends with all the pets and their owners.Items are a bit on the pricey side and you can find better bargains at one of the local supercenters.I tend to only go here if looking for something specific that I may not be able to get elsewhere and need right away.

I only go here when I absolutely have to because of my last few experiences at this location. None of the associates act like they care and I constantly get an attitude from just about every employee I’ve encountered at this location. I’m not sure who it was, I believe a manager or assistant manager, but she has got a major staring issue. Even going as far as to type on the keyboard at checkout and not take her eyes off you the entire time. The last few times I was in this store with my dog, I got asked if my dog was a rescue and after I said no, I received an attitude from her that was bias against me for not having a rescue dog.

My China went in a mess and came home with a fresh hair cut, bath, nail done and a bows. My princess was beautiful, so I had to add her picture to Instagram and I did #PetSmart for a job well done!

2 very dirty dogs went in, 2 very cleaned and groomed furbabies came out! We always have great service from the groomers here. Plus our furbabies love going there for the attention and love given to them by the groomers.

This is a much smaller PetSmart but literally had everything I needed. They are well stocked and the staff was friendly and helpful. Used their tag machine with no issues and was asked to donate which we were happy to for the pets for the holidays. Im sure we will be in as we are thinking of a small fish tank for the family.

Always enjoy to petsmart. They always have what Im looking for.

I didnt have an appointment but they took Jade anyway and fit her in. They did a fine job and even give military discounts.

The staff here are very knowledgeable and helpful. They dont have a large selection to choose from though if youre looking for a pet.

We went into pet smart to adopt two kittens. There was two kittens there and they were a bonded set. When we was there the people said we could adopt them. We did the paper work. We was told theyd call us, but they didnt. We called them back, and they told us that there was another family that was already approved to adopt the kittens. That was not true because there wasnt a sign showing the kittens were waiting to be adopted. The people at pet smart lied to us. Dont trust them.

Smithfield PetSmart team members always take time to help with any questions I may have regarding any products. My dogs adore the groomers and are excited to visit. I always feel welcome and like the team cares about my pets wellbeing.

All employees were Great! Manager not so much. Went to exchange dog jacket for bigger size, had my receipt, tags on jacket. Employees were just like go get a bigger one, no problem. When I brought exchange to counter, manager made it to a return, jacket had been on sale, now $11.00 more. So I told her if that was the case, just refund my money and keep the jacket. She did end up exchanging jackets, not happily. Angrily punching her computer keys. Wont go there again

My Daughter and I left Walmart an went down to pet smart for some gold fish and the colors an sizes were great! Loved the quick help and humor of the attendant! Prices ranged from 16 cents to a few dollars. Nice place to shop for all animal needs. Ive got 4 palms and one rottweiler and Ill be going back for some of there needs! First time shopping there and I really liked it!

My pup love the Pig noses. You cant get them just any where. If you have a dog who chews all the time try them and the lambs ears.... they stay focused on them and not your cords..lol

Ringo gets his nails clip by the ladies and he loves them he got his first away from home bath by the girls today and they said he was a good boy but I forgot to tell them he didnt like the dryer. Makes it easier to leave your fur babies when they ❤️their groomers. See you next month.

Awesome store. Both girls got down and loved on my pitbull puppy. Great customer service. Go there to buy roaches. Wish they stayed alive longer. Sometimes 20% or more is dead the next day. But cashiers are nice, and store is clean.

We loved PetSmart!!! Animals are sweet. The people are wonderful!! We even go there just to kick it about 30 or 40 minutes. Makes the day happy!!!

I was given bad advice when it came to caring for my pet. Thank God I am smart enough to know better! I hope others are as well. Fish are poorly maintained and are sick looking with at least one dead every time.

Nice staff. Go adopt a cat. Im sure there happy at Petsmart, but they really need a home. I got me a big fat fellow and he is one of the best cats I have ever had.

I tried calling the grooming salon 5 times, always no answer. After a few tries I finally got booked online with a specific groomer and time. My husband took our dog up there as weve been doing for as long as weve had him. We always had good service. This time he was told the phones werent working properly nor was the computer. So our booking didnt go thru. They took our dog anyway and was going to work him in. Someone in management needs to be held accountable for poor service. The groomers cant even do their job without a computer and a working phone. Very inconvenient for customers. I tried to make an appointment for my sons dog but couldnt get thru to the phone. This is ridiculous!! Get to work people on fixing these problems!!!

Employees are always friendly, store is well stocked, it is always clean. I hate to walk over and see dead fish in the tank, but it isnt a high end fish store and they deal in volume. My biggest complaint is a corporate one with their pricing model and has nothing to do with the individual stores. When you make an in store purchase, always check the online price. It is usually cheaper and they will match it.

The attitudes of the employees in the Smithfield location when my daughter returned merchandise that she ended up not needing was less than impressive. Even with her receipt, she was questioned as if she had stolen the merchandise, and they showed utter disdain for attending to her return needs. I absolutely love the White Oak location, and even though its 20 minutes further from me, Ill go out of my way to go there from now on.
