This salon is amazing. I’ve been coming for over 4 years and it’s always been superb. The stylists pay full attention to you, and have great vision for how your hair will be cut. Very consistent and they use a lot of great techniques to make your hair just the way you want it. Great business.

It’s a family favorite for haircuts and a full service experience. I live in Dallas but make a stop every time I’m in Skokie. The barbers all pay attention to detail and take pride in their work. The haircut starts with a shampoo and it’s only done after a proper lineup.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and they all know how to make their clients happy. They pay attention to every detail and even get your approval on certain adjustments they feel would compliment the cut and style choice. They never disappoint.

Great spot! Haircuts are on point. The barbers are all very friendly and welcoming. They take their time and make sure you get the best service possible. I went in to get my beard trimmed and lined up, and my barber took his time and meticulously made sure it looked clean and straight. This is the only place I trust to get my beard done. I got my eyebrows waxed and threaded as well, and honestly Ive never had anyone else do a better job. All the employees here are hard working and professional. Prices are very cheap, but their hard work and excellent work cant be beat. I recommend this spot to everyone looking for a neighborhood barbershop with a homely feel. I guarantee youll get a better haircut than the big chain barber shops where youll pay more than three times the price. Remember to tip well for the work they put in!

I finally decided it was time to get my hair cut after not having it cut for about 5 years. Elaine was amazing! She listened to everything I wanted including the concern that I didnt want to cut my hair short but I wanted it healthy again, and she did a FANTASTIC job! My hair has never looked so amazing! My Dad likes Eddie, the owner and Mens Stylist. Hes always got time to say hi - busy as he is. Hes worth waiting for though. Hes very good. Unlike some barbers Ive taken my Dad to, Eddie looks at his customer and cuts their hair accordingly. He makes my Dad look 10 years younger. Yeah, Dad is always smiling when he leaves Eddies😊

Today me and my friend stopped by in this place and I want to say nextFist, the costumer revise is so good, ladies what work there really polite and friendlySecond, the work why ladies do really good. I was surprised in good way. Lady what does for me color treatment, haircut and oil treatment she is so professional. My hair looks so goodBut it was 2 negative things... first, I said I what to cut just half inch of my hair, she did 4.... and second, this place doesn’t accept credit cards... really uncomfortable for me...That’s why 3 stars, not 5

I’ve been coming to EDDIES for 7 years. Martin has been my go to guy but when he’s not there, Edmund and Eddie have given me cuts and beard Trims and I’ve happy EVERY single time. I get a Bald fade which isn’t easy to do and I’ve gotten compliments from OTHER hair stylist friends of mine about the work these guys do. These dudes are legit. It’s hard to understand some of the negative comments in the ratings below. Crazy. Small barber shop feel, I love the barber shop conversations. Love coming to this place.

I am in town for a wedding and decided that I wanted a haircut. I read such amazing reviews about Kefah in specific. I wanted to try it out and I won’t regret it. She did a wonderful job. I loved the way she cut my hair. It’s in perfect layers and makes my hair look healthy. Very reasonable prices too! Kefah is super sweet and did it super fast. I would recommend giving her a chance. Staff is super sweet, a clean and friendly environment.

I went to this place today. I waited for over an hour because I asked for Keesfa. She had 2 customers before me. When it was my turn, I asked Keesfa if she cuts dry, she said she cuts dry. I started a conversation, told her normally I go to Zoot Cut, but I liked how she cut my nieces hair. She just said okay. Not too friendly, or Ill give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe too tired. I walked away not too happy about the service. She didnt spend a lot of time on my hair. But still gave her $5 tip for a $25 trim.Definitely not going back to this place again..

I came to Eddies based on the positive reviews on Google and Yelp but found the service to be extremely underwhelming. The only good part is that the wait wasnt too bad, even without an appointment. I was serviced by an older gentleman who I assumed to be Eddie. He did not take the time to really understand what I wanted and seems to have trouble communicating in English. The worst thing is that he cut with extremely poor technique without an ounce of care. My hair came out to be extremely choppy and uneven and it was easily the worst hair cut Ive ever paid for.You get what you pay for, for $10, it was just a cut and it doesnt come with wash or styling. I walked out with a bunch of hair on my face without feeling fresh and satisfied.This is a neighborhood place thats really just for kids and folks that just need a real simple haircut without much styling. But hey, there is already big chained shops and random guy in Chinatown basement that do that and give you a wash for less that $10. If you do insist on trying this place though, at least ask for the younger gentlemen since they seem to give more attention to their clients per my observation.

We go here for great haircuts for my son. Economical and great styling. It has become a tradition for many on my son’s karate team to get haircuts there before competitions. Great staff and even greater haircuts.

This salon does it all! My 16 year old son is very particular about his hair. We had so many failed haircuts! The minute we started going to Eddie everything was right the 1st time and every time since! He actually goes for a haircut now without a fight! Not to mention Eddies also caters to us females as well...My 2 girls and I spoil ourselves there!

Need a fade... look no further Edi and Edmund are great Barbers. Obviously everyone wants to go to Edi, but if you want to skip the wait for Edi which can be up to a few hours at peak time ask for Edmund. Hes really good! My wife always goes to Keefah for her hair anytime she needs coloring, cutting, etc.

I take my 2yr here for haircuts. Although he cries the staff is nice, patient, and gentle. My son gets a lollipop when its dons which makes him happy :)

Please read my review before going to Eddies...I am very disappointed with my services at Eddies salon . I had an appointment with Elaine for a make up and hair style for a wedding last Friday . I showed her a picture of the Look that I wanted, she said there would be no problem . she had me in the make up room for 1 & 1/2 hours.. she was persistent on doing it her way . Not like the picture I showed her .I looked horrible.!!! I immediately removed all the make up and told her to forget it & just start my hair because I am running out of time . The hairstyle was not to my satisfaction but at this point will have to do . I am so upset that she charged me for the make up that was not completed. But I paid it and just left because I had to get somebody to come to my house to redo my make up.!! My husband contact the owner Rifka to let her know of Elaine s nonprofessionalism and he felt she should not have charged me for the make up that was not completed. She was just as unprofessional as Elaine . And said no refund would be given back . This establishment doesnt seem to care about the customers and service that should be given.

I have been waiting for an hour and no one has come up to me for a haircut. Theres no one waiting but me and no barbers around. Very disappointed at this place, heard good things but none were true.
