Every time I have come here I am treated with the utmost respect, given great service, and leave feeling so happy with my new haircut. To be honest I was a bit nervous walking into a barbershop for the first time, seeing as I am a female, but based off of the photos I had seen on their page I knew this place would be the best for the fade I wanted and these guys not only delivered, but also made me feel super welcomed in the space. These guys have always been accommodating and helpful and make sure that I leave with an amazing haircut that I am overwhelmingly happy with. 10/10 would recommend to any male or female presenting person who wants a fade thats crisp and done to perfection. Also pricing is phenomenal.

Took my 2 yo for his first haircut. The barber was amazing with him. Played on his tablet with him, wiped his nose, and was very patient and sweet and the cut is incredible! I cannot say enough good things about this place!

Ashors Fade is amazing, if you’re looking for a haircut with experienced barbers! They do it ALL, from fades, blowouts, perms, low fades, and you name it. This is the place to go, they have a great check in system as soon as you arrive. Ashor the owner greets all his customers and provides advice for new-comers to feel at ease. I recommend this place for everyone that wants a quality haircut.

5 or so years ago a friend recommend Ashur because I needed someone who knew beard styles. I went in and from the very first cut I was pleased. He was very meticulous making sure ever stand of hair was even. I thought maybe he was doing a little extra because it was my first time. I can honestly say he is every bit meticulous 5 years later as he was that first time. Only ashur knows exactly what I want from the bald fade to the faded beard. He’s a really nice person as well.

My son has had his share of bad haircuts. He has multi-textured curly hair. We have tried different barbers for years. I came across Ashor’s Fade after doing a Google search. I must say he received the most amazing haircut ever! My son was so pleased. The entire experience was wonderful. There was no wait time and the price was unbelievably affordable.

This barber shop is absolutely terrible. I told the barber with details how I wanted my haircut but they refused to listen and cut it the way they wanted. They also cut very vigorously without care. I confronted them all about it but they yelled at me in my face. They even came up to me face to face as if covid still isn’t around either. They didn’t show any type of respect. Responding back: actually you didn’t offer a refund or a free haircut. Instead you proceeded to brag about how long you’ve been cutting hair but that’s not what we care about! We care about the respect you should’ve shown us when we were explaining the type of haircut we wanted. All you did was talk down to us as if you’re some big guy that is the best barber and as if you cared in the most disrespectful way. Also I referred this place to my family and cousins multiple times and they didn’t write fake reviews because they actually have come to get their haircut here. These aren’t fake reviews. You need to learn how to show respect to someone even if they’re younger than you. Lastly, why are you lying!! You denied a refund but instead your employee contacted me and offered it. But that’s not what we care about or need we don’t need a refund. All we needed was for you to just listen and cut our hair.

Got a haircut and line up from Joe it was good haircut but terrible line up. Too many cuts and bleeding. I would only go there if I don’t have any options.

I had a great experience with Ashor brother. I went there with my 2 year old son and seriously man! Cutting kids hair requires great patience! very hard! i mean I cant even elaborate.. Ashor did his best as always my son has a perfect hair cut i asked Ashor to do. This place is one of the best spots in the area. I come all the way from Elgin just to get my haircut here by John. Hes super chill always sprays the clippers and also changes the blade. Places by me have an attitude when I ask them to spray, or change the blade. The price for a cut is $13 compared to other places who want an arm and leg for a cut. I hope the prices never raise because I have found my new spot, also I only been coming here for about 2 months now and I dont want to go anywhere else. Ashor also cuts great hair as well try him out as well hes my uncle new barber.

I have been going to Joe at Ashor’s Fade for well over a year now and have never been disappointed. The shop is clean and professional. The barbers are attentive and the prices are extraordinarily reasonable. They operate on a first come, first served basis so there may be a wait, however for the service and value, the wait is worth it!

I spoke with a older gentleman and I can tell you that he doesn’t know how to speak to people. I tried to show him the type of haircut I wanted but he was in a mood to actually look at the picture. He instead showed me attitude to put away my phone. Horrible customer service!!!

This is, by far, the greatest barbershop of all time especially in the village of Skokie. Ive never walked out of Ashers Fade feeling disappointed with their service- I literally feel like Tom Brady walking out of there every time. Haircuts are so fresh. Ashers Fade has made me feel the most confident in myself and Joe is an absolute legend- highly recommend this place for your next cut!

Absolutely garbage service and the hair cut my siblings and I received weren’t as we described what we wanted. They basically cut our hair the way they wanted. Yelled at my face when I complained. These people don’t know how to have a conversation. Greatly disappointed.

Been only going there for about a year since my barber John moved to this shop. All these guys can cut hair from what I’ve seen, but John is the best. The only reason I can’t give this place 5 stars is because of their wait time. I can’t even schedule a private appointment with a barber thats been cutting my hair for years. I stopped going because my drive was about an hour one way and didn’t make sense for me anymore. However, if you live in the area this is the place you should get your cut/lineup.

Went to get a haircut today, and noticed 80% of customers were not wearing masks! Also two of the workers were wearing their masks under the nose. This is a complete disregard for clients safety.

This is the place to go for fades. For 10 bucks, you literally arent going to find better. For 20 you wont find better. Ive been here twice and both times were great and the cut was superb. Triple 0 on the sides and 3 on top, with a high fade. Faded to perfection. 👌

I live in park ridge and travelled about 7 miles to come here. Granted its a Saturday so I expected to wait but some people have been there since 9am. Im pretty sure I was going to get a pretty good fade but I would have been inside this place waiting and probably would have left around 4pm. $10 for a fade cant beat that in skokie. Got there at noon and there were 5 people ahead of me with only 2 barbers cmon really. Get a 3rd in their and raise it prices by $5, people will pay that

Extremely slow. Only 1 person is working. No appointments. This guy is shaving a guy with no hairs in one hour. The haircut is OK, but do you really have a few hours to wait here? I dont. When 5 people waiting in line, Ashor even taking a smoking break and chatting with his friends who are there talking and distracting him whole day.
