Visited Hair Masters of Simpsonville and Melissa the manager was so professional and very knowledgeable she has really brightned up the place since my last visit I now know what I need to use on my hair to take better care of it That place was filthy but she really made it look nice I will be back for a service later on and I will continue to buy my product from Melissa

Love hair masters, the only place I go!

I wanted to like this place it was close to home. After about four hairdos. I will drive farther. But they did have friendly people..

Two people did my hair. The first person felt as if she was rushing pulling my hair a bit too hard while blow drying and the dryer, whenever the air touched my scalp felt hot. The second lady was more gentle on my hair and she did a great job styling. It looked just as i wanted it. My hair lasted all night.

Was told it would be a 15 minute wait to cut my grandsons hair. The stylist finished her customer in about 30 minutes. Then she said she needed a couple of minutes to clean up the hair which she did and then disappeared to the back. We waited 10 minutes and left. She clearly didnt want to work. I just wish she had said she was booked up and not wasted nearly an hour of my time.

The stylist didnt do good with my husbands hair at all. She didnt listen to him and let him leave with obvious lines in his fade. He said he wanted a fade really close to the skin and an inch off the top. The stylist even showed him another person with a close fade and its nothing what he wanted. Being a previous cosmetologist myself I know its not a hard request to get right. Do not recommend in any way!

I got a lot of my hair cut off and Hannah asked if I wanted layers and I specifically said no. I don’t like to have layers in my hair and I have them now 🙄 she told me it was uneven while she was cutting it and made my hair shorter than it was supposed to be because she had already messed it up. She was nice but I wouldn’t trust her to cut my hair again.

I finally found what I was looking for at Hair Masters. The staff is friendly and cares about what they are doing. I had Ali and Tammy do my color, and they did a great job. Ali also cut my hair the way I wanted it. The prices are reasonable too. Im getting highlights next month, cant wait!

I think they need to be stricter on who they hire to cut and color hair. Just because someone has a liscence to cut hair does not mean they should be hired for a business and do it professionally. The employees tend to have inappropriate conversations while working and seem to be more focused on conversating with their coworkers than anything else. One employee in particular will just go off and start putting her own spin on your hair without asking and you end up leaving with something nothing like what you asked for. And they dont know how to properly mix colors to get the desired color you want your hair. Do better hair masters.

They did my haircut without any mistakes, and for a decent price.

My last two trips to this place have both been bad experiences. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt by giving them a second chance but Im done going here. Dont recommend as they botched the hair color I wanted and when I went in to get if fixed they did not want to admit that they messed up. And the fix didnt even stay in my hair. It faded and washed out in 2 days because she was rushing me and didnt leave the color in long enough. They do not behave appropriately in the workplace either and only seem to care about gossip.

Horrible! I have fairly thin hair and without asking she cuts a layer up to my neck and the rest down my shoulders. She cut my bangs way back in my hair line. Needed a simple cut not to be a guinea pig for someone. This particular lady needs her License suspended! It will take a long time to look half way decent again. Very disappointed.

Delightful young ladies I know I just get a cut from time to time and my weekly set but they always treat me with respect for the age group that most of these young women are. Ive never had my hair colored before but I would let Tammy do it if a wild hair struck me. I love these beauties and the atmosphere. Takes me back to when I went as a young woman with my mother to the Beaty shop in the 60s. Tammy doesnt like to tease but she makes an exception for me and she gets it in there so it stays aaaaaaaalllll weeeekkkk!

This is a wonderful place to get your hair braided, the ppl make you feel right at home, and a great vibe!!
