The stylist was very nice and polite but she does not know how to style hair! She left my left side of my head longer than my right after asking for a drop fade. And it is very visible not like she can’t see that I have legit strands of hair on one side and a fade on the other. Will probably be my last time coming to this store after this experience nice people but horrible haircuts. The only persons who has cut my hair good is the tall lady.

Two appointments, said it would be just a minute, one hour and I just left. The second appointment I made over the phone and once again just excuses . I left . No 3rd chance Im done with this disorganized way of doing buisness.

I went there on Saturday to match the ends of my grown out highlights, cool blonde over natural honey blonde, and they dyed all of my hair a brassy red color not like my hair at all and clashed with my pigment. I went back yesterday for them to fix it and she said she would ash it out to cancel the red and then add highlights over and I selected a light blonde highlight of honey tone and they made all of my hair super bleached and light/bright neon orange. I cant go anywhere from embarrassment and I spent $150+tip to have my hair ruined. They will not refund and hungup on me when I asked. She said her God hates me at the end yesterday and I was polite yesterday at the redo. I do not understand their comments. Also, yesterday I had shown a picture and last Saturday they had the ends of my hair to match. They said I could go back next week to add honey tones however they cant get rid of the neon orange/red and Im never going back there.

The hairdresser, whom I got last time(which was also my 1st time, yet surely not my last, LOL)there, simply put, was a DELIGHTFUL lady! Couldnt be happier with the service all around, & looking forward to going back when they reopen, hopefully soon!

Would give zero stars if possible. Horrible haircut my hair was uneven. One side longer than the other, chuncks of hair sticking out from being choppy. Young lady literally rushed and took like 5 min to cut off half of my hair without even measuring to see if it was straight. I even asked her when she was done that it didn’t seem even and she kept insisting it was and to come back if it wasn’t even when i got home so she could fix it. never going back here. Wasn’t able to catch her name but she had long black hair, was fair skinned, & wore glasses i believe

Twice in one year I’ve come in to the Signal Hill Supercuts to get my roots done and both times they didn’t have my color. My hair is brown. It shouldn’t be that difficult to keep normal shades of brown in stock. They told me it happens often so I should call first to make sure they have 6n and 7n in stock. I’d say that keeping insufficient stock of hair color is considered poor management. The stylists were nice and apologetic. Too bad I needed to wait an hour and a half for my ride after finding this out.When I lived in Palm Desert and went to the Desert Crossings Supercuts they always had my color. Now that would be good management. Signal Hill Supercuts has lost my business.

I havent been to salon in awhile, so came here based on yelp reviews. I got a trim with Yesenia. Shes very sweet, personable and takes her time. I was pleased with my haircut. Definitely will go see her again.

I came in to thin out my hair and a little framing around the face. I also asked for a half inch trim. SO, I dont understand how that equates to cutting off 4 inches of hair. She maintains shes layering my hair to appease my vision of framing my face. But it just looks really bad. The layers are choppy and dont blend well throughout. After seeing my disapproval, she then suggested to add texture to my hair so my hair doesnt look and in her words, choppy. Which to me, is just bad damage control. Overall, it looks like I had a child cut my hair.

This location is probably my favorite Supercuts. Their staff gives you the cut you want and if you go on weeknights, there is no wait or if there is, its short. Weekends are really busy though. Lots of convenient parking and its in a safe/clean shopping center. No sketchy customers here. They also keep their store very clean.

I bring my 5 year-old son here for haircuts. The ladies whove cut his care do a great job. They are patient, attentive, and cut his hair in the style he wears (long-ish, surfer style). Ive made the mistake of going to another location mid-week, because I was running errands. Boy, I shouldve waited until the weekend. My son looked like I cut his hair with rusty scissors. I ended up bringing him back to this Supercuts when his hair grew out and they fixed it. Im not going anywhere else. Thank you, ladies :)

WILL GIVE 2 STARS. POOR SERVICE. TRIED ALL OF THEM. ONE OF THE TOP STYLISTS IS GONE. NEVER SAW HER AGAIN. WILL RECOMMEND FOR CHILDREN TO COME HERE. GOING BACK TO MY BARBER. YOU WOULD SPECT MORE FOR $19 MENS HAIR CUT.

Went there with a really simple task on their part to be done. I arrived with wet hair as i had just showered and washed my own hair. I simply requested to have all the dead ends cut from the back of my hair. Then i advised them a couple of months ago i attempted to cut some bangs myself. Although it didnt look to bad, it did need some evening out. And then i wanted long bangs that feathered down the side of my face as though to create a face frame cut is what one of the girls called it. I was pretty satisfied upon leaving Pretty much due to the fact that i hadnt yet put my eyeglasses on. But, I did notice the dead weight lift. Wasnt too sure if it was all cut off or not. But then i got home. Brushed out my hair only to notice my so called bangs were completely uneven. One side looked as though it was missing a chunk. The otherside well it was shorter than the other side. Then after flat ironing the back and having someone take a picture for me i noticed that it was uneven too. No i did not want layers and she was well aware of that. She even repeated it twice to her coworker who had come to try and fix the front giving me a more noticeable trim and layering. Ill be going back in the morning to do one of two things... Have them fix the problem for free. Or getting the money back i spent today/yesterday evening. Very nice people. Just didnt seem to know what they were doing? First thought was... She must be going to school (to cut hair) still. Because i highly doubt she graduated already. Shoot, shouldve went to a beauty college to get my hair done. Wouldve been cheaper for the same service. But at least a teacher or supervisor wouldve been near by and i wouldve pretty much expected the same sloppy work (haircut).

Was not able to get a haircut at this location seemed understaffed..a walk-in appointment seemed like a joke at the time. I will not try to come here ever again. Staff was not the nicest either. Id suggest visiting a Fantastic Sams or a Sports Clips.

Went to get a haircut at this location around 8 PM at night during the week and got seated in a chair right away. The stylist did an excellent job and was very friendly. Will be returning to this location.

What happened?This location was excellent when they opened. Not anymore. Expect a high turnover of inexperienced stylists, 45 minute waits, and a terrible haircut.Do yourself a favor and go to the location by the traffic circle.

Yup. I agree with the previous bad review. Very surprised and disappointed of the service.This was my first visit here. Though most of the personnel is nice and cordial, the extremely long wait of nearly 50 minutes was unbearable.When I walked in, there were 3 others waiting. There were 3 stylist working with clients. I figured this could be a 15 to 20 minute wait, which is normal for a Supercuts.Shortly after I arrived, more people started coming in. At the 25 minute mark, I was told I was next on the list. Then was told there was someone else before me. Not once, but twice. While I waited, a stylist finished with a client, went to lunch, came back from lunch, and went to the restroom. I never saw her come out of the restroom because by then, it was over 45 minutes and I had to leave.Needless to say, I left without a haircut.The other Supercuts in the area, Stearns and Bellflower, and at the Marina Shores are fantastic.
