My husband and I have used Donovans for years now. I was put off by another service provider because I know enough about cars to know they were being dishonest. A friend recommended Donovans and I can tell you, the integrity of their service is first notch, you will never be mislead. The prices are reasonable and their professional, friendly service is very down-to-earth and real. Theres no trying to get you to buy what you dont need, in fact, Ive thought a few times our repair was going to be crazy expensive, only to find out it was something simple and easy to fix. Ive taken my brand new Chevrolet truck to be serviced, a family members car with a fuel issue to be repaired, and my 1997 truck to be checked over before purchased. On each occasion, Donovans provides unequivocal feedback and prompt service. They really are the definition of a local shop that cares about their customers.On my last visit for a routine service, I sat and listened to Pat explain to a customer that a repair on a thrown code was not necessary to improve the function of his particular vehicle and then went on to explain the particulars of why the code was being thrown in the first place and potential solutions to fix the issue. What an example of customer service. Try finding that at your big dealership service departments.Do not let the negative reviews sway you from coming to Donovans. More likely than not, the customer themselves were being rude or had an expectation that they were the only customer of the day that needed a repair. I went for a quick diagnostic test for a vehicle I was planning to purchase. The mechanic was quick but through and provided me great feedback for the dealership. I live about 40 minutes away from Donovans and it was definitely worth the trip. Wonderful place. Will visit again!

I have used Donovans Service a few times and every single time, I have been very happy with the quality, cost and timing of the work. I would highly recommend to this shop!

They are very professional. My cars AC unit stopped working and at first I took my car to the dealership(Robert Brogden Buick GMC) and the dealership charged me $200 for the diagnostic fee but couldnt find the problem and wanted $800 to fix it. I knew it was a cable problem and I took my car to the Donovans and they fix it right away cheaper than the dealerships diagnostic fee.

They fixed my cars wheel bearing very well. Good people. Reasonable price. Pretty busy place so you need to make a reservation first to get your car fixed. If you are renting a car, enterprise is nearby.

Very happy with their diagnostics and their willingness to work on it under a budget constraint. Having an honest mechanic is one of the greatest stress relievers you can have in life. If youve ever felt fear, frustration, or helplessness because of a broken down car you know what Im talking about. I didnt find Donovans until I was near 40. And for the last 20 years all Ive had is peace of mind when it comes to car repairs. I could go on and on tell stories and heap on the praise, but you can get all that just reading some of the other reviews. Then give them call, for your own peace mind.

Donovans was recommended to me by a friend. I took my car in to them to fix an issue with the engine running rough. They were able to fix the main problem by replacing the distributor.Im rating them a 2 for a few reasons:a) price--they are a little expensive as they mark up their part prices by 40%. Because their part prices are so expensive I had to ask them to use a remanufactured part which they agreed to do but only under duress.b) communication--went to pick up the car and there was an extra $50 charge that I wasnt told about. I had asked them to look at a belt noise but wasnt told theyd charge me for looking at it. Plus Id asked them what the total was before I went to get the car and it didnt include the $50 charge. Their explanation was they told me the total for fixing the rough running, not for the belt noise.c) bad diagnosis--besides not telling me about the $50 charge to diagnose the noise their diagnosis was incorrect. They told me it was due to the idler pulleys. I told them to not fix it as it was something I could do. After I got the car back I looked at it and found out what they told me was wrong--it wasnt belts or pulleys but the A/C clutch has an issue and needs to be replaced as it is what is making the noise.d) high idle speed after getting car back--it was idling at 1200 rpm. I called them back about it and they said they didnt notice that and said I could bring it back in and they could look at it. After all of the other issues I decided to not bring it back and to fix it on my own.

Very trustworthy. Tried several shops which told me same part cost over $500. They had another fix ---which worked---for less then half that price. Have been there for several other small things and they are fast and have taken care of the issues.Highly recommended.

Best to plan ahead a bit if you can. Theyre usually pretty busy so I try to call and make appts a week in advance.

If you need auto repair dont even think twice about weather or not to take your vehicle to donovans. They are the most qualified and quite frankly they are just good down to earth honest people. This is my preferred choice for any auto repair. Good, good people. Try them out and see.

They treated me very kindly, gave excellent service, gave me options for repair, and shopped online for the least expensive options. Fantastic shop!! They even offered to give some advice if ever I needed it while performing a diy project on vehicles.

The staff here treated us with extreme disrespect and had no regards for our car problems. They really didnt want to help us or explain the work to he done in detail.Absolutely no kindness what-so-ever or hospitality was shown.We will NOT be visiting Donovans car service again and we do NOT recommend them to anyone.

Went here at a friends recommendation. Had no issues. They gave no BS, did what was requested, found the problem, and called me with the cost. They fixed it in the time they said it would, and I payed the cost they said it would be. No more noisy wheel bearing.Will definitely come back in the future.

I have used Donovans for years. Never have they tried to make repairs that were not needed. Pat (the owner) has been more that willing to explain how to do some repairs myself if I wanted to. Now that is an honest shop.

Trust. I love taking my car to a shop where I can trust what they are telling me. I am a bit of a do-it-yourselfer; but there are times when I have to go to the experts. Pat and his staff have always treated me fairly and with honesty. I also like that they give me options. There was one time where I had a brake problem and Pat said, It just sounds like the caliper, you should be able to do that on your own. And I was able to fix it on my own and save myself some money.
