Fidler on the Tooths team is the absolute best! When I first came to them, I hadnt been to the dentist in 3+ years and had a lot of anxiety around it. They were warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout the whole process from booking my appointment to explaining what they were doing or looking at in my appointment to gently giving advice as to how to take better care of my teeth. Since then, Ive had an emergency situation which they jumped into action to take care of (days before my wedding!) and I knew I was in the best hands. Theres never ben any guilt trips or scolding for forgetting to floss, etc., only gentle reminders. My anxiety around dentist appointments is drastically lower now and I recommend Fidler and her team to everyone I know. I honestly cant say enough positively about this team!

I’ve had dentists in the past that did not explain what they were doing, and their declining of my wishes have given me a fear of dentists. I explained these fears to my hygienist Brittany, and she was very attentive and comforting. She recorded everything I said in my patient file, explained everything she did thoroughly, and helped me know what to expect during treatment. I’m very grateful I came here!

As always todays visit was outstanding. I was there for a cleaning and checkup. Everyone at Fidler on the tooth is excellent. Dr. Fidler and Dr. Wang are outstanding. I received such good care here from Dr . Wang, Vince and Lana and other staff. I first came after moving, and had a problem that the cause wasnt obvious, they spent a lot of time with me to figure it out and relieved my pain. I came back for my cleaning, which is normally a little painful for me, but it was pain free. After that, they installed a crown for me, which Id had a lot of pain in the past, particularly with the temporary but it was pain free. I was amazed. The dental assistants that did my cleaning were very professional and caring. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Gregory Wang at Fidler on the Tooth. After never having a cavity in my life, I went in for my first visit at Fidler on the Tooth and Dr. Fidler informed me that I needed 4 fillings. I am extremely anxious about needles, so I was dreading the filling appointment for weeks. However, Dr. Wang and his team went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and happy for the entire visit. Tameka (one of the hygienists) was extremely friendly and offered me a blanket and pillow for the fillings. Emily (another hygienist) stayed by my side the entire time and made sure that I was relaxed and doing okay. They also offered me nitrous oxide for the appointment which was a huge help, and they also allowed my husband to come in for the appointment and hold my hand. Dr. Wang asked beforehand if I wanted to know what he was doing and when or if I would rather not know. How thoughtful to recognize that some patients (myself included) would be squeamish to hear all the details and might prefer to close their eyes and focus on relaxing! Dr. Wang also accommodated my needle aversion by using extra numbing gel before the injection, and working around having to numb my tongue. Altogether, I couldnt have been more impressed with Dr. Wang. He turned a day I had been dreading for weeks into a really easy and pleasant experience. He is a fantastic dentist, and I am looking forward to seeing him in the future for my regular cleanings.

Its been very difficult for me to find a good dentist in the past, leading to a lot of anxiety and fear of the dentist. With that I have to say Dr. Wang is easily the best dentist Ive ever seen. He made me feel comortable and not afraid to be there. I was kind of a wreck the first couple times I came in and he was easily able to calm me down. I can say the same for some of the dental assistants I saw including Jin and Lana, theyre both great. Brittany is also a great hygienist who does stellar work. Definitely recommend this place, especially if you have a fear of going to the dentist. They helped me go from barely being able to look at my teeth to being obsessive about making sure theyre clean.

I came to Fidler on the tooth with a specific issue. Both Brittany and Dr. Fidler were thorough, gentle, informative and caring. They did not require me to do an entire new patient exam, they were willing to examine and treat just the specific issue I was concerned about. I felt their COVID screening and office protocol were excellent. The office atmosphere is pleasant and patient comfort (physically and emotionally) definitely feels like a priority here. I am very grateful for their flexibility and once my main issue is resolved, I feel I am very likely to continue as a regular patient.

Takes advantage of people, I am sure I am not the only nor the last. I called this dentist before making any appt. as even though I was in a lot of pain I am really anxious about dental work and I had a lot of questions - I called to asked specifically about what they offered and made sure I could get sedation and wanted other confirmations with fees, etc. The gal on the phone was nice and it seemed perfect so I made an emergency appointment for the next morning. Too good to be true though, when I got in they took an X-ray of the one tooth (literally just one area) and then charged me $120 for a referral to go somewhere else for that tooth PLUS get all this extra work that honestly they couldnt even fairly claim I needed since they only bothered to do 1/4 of the X-rays youd need to recommend anything other than what you took an X-ray for in the first place! The wisdom tooth specialist seemed as if he couldnt be bothered to really look in my mouth, he ran the mirror around that side and that was it. I think I was in there for 20 minutes, including extra COVID procedures maybe 5 min. was with the actual dentist and another 5 with someone else trying to print my referral that I ultimately had them just email me. Whatever- So we paid the fee out of pocket for my one area of X-ray and a little paper cup of mouth wash and two weeks later, I am still in pain since nothing got resolved so I called the dentist they referred me to..only to find out that referral was never sent over. I wont go here ever again, I wouldnt trust them in my mouth and I would say be weary of them looking in yours. At the end of the day maybe I wasnt the ideal type of client they wanted, maybe the dentist was having an off day, maybe it was some lunar event- but when youre in pain and you have limited resources no one should have to worry about being taken advantage of just because you can as a business.

Ryan (hygienist) took care of Deep cleaning which requires numbing with shots. He made it virtually painless.!! I also had two crowns done by Dr fidler.... all this in same appointment .....Her two dental assistances were great also (Jin & Diana) helping with the crowns.Of course I chose nitrous oxide to make the appointment way less stressful!I would not hesitate to recommend this practice because theyre all amazing!

My crown came out. Called the next morning and they got me right in. Crowns glued back in. Why the 5 star review? Because from my phone call all the way till the end of my appointment professional, caring service from everyone I encountered.

Ive been going to this dentist since I was a kid. The staff is friendly and they know me. Recently, the office was having difficulty tracking down my insurance. They informed me the out of pocket cost would be due, and rescheduled the appointment because of the confusion. The rescheduled appointment was then cancelled with no advance notice. As a kid, I didnt have much of a choice where I go to the dentist. As an adult, I am disappointed in the lack of concern and care that was expressed.

Lets be honest, I have hated going to the dentist for 48 of my 50 years. However, finding Fidler on the Tooth has made going to the dentist a positive experience! Dr. Fidler and her team are compassionate, professional, and downright fun.

Fidler on the Tooth is taking great care during COVID to keep people safe: pre-screening, hand sanitizer, temperature checks, masks, and sanitizing mouthwash before cleanings and treatments. I feel pretty safe and secure visiting during this pandemic.

Yesterdays appointment is a great example of why I think Dr. Fidlers the best! My schedule changed last minute and my re-schedule mistakenly didnt include my teeth cleaning. No problem; Vicki stepped in and did my cleaning and Jen did my polishing and x-rays so I wouldnt need to come in from Port Townsend for another appointment! Thank you, Vicki and staff!

I’m one of those who has huge fear and anxiety around dentists, and Fidler on the Tooth came highly recommended for this reason. I finally got up the courage to go in, and was immediately at ease. Vince was kind, listened, actually reviewed my paperwork, and talked me through each step of what to expect. He paused to review everything and was always checking in on my comfort. Dr. Wang reviewed my treatment plan clearly and told me what to expect. I just finished up my cleaning with Brittany and she was absolutely AMAZING. She had reviewed my file and anticipated all of my hesitations and questions. She also explained things in a way I could understand, and regularly stopped to check in on how I was feeling. While I unfortunately need to go back several more times, I am feeling much more at ease knowing Fidler on the Tooth will take excellent care of me. I highly recommend this place, especially for those who are anxious about the dentist.

Had to have a lot of work done and had a lot of anxiety about it. They prescribed me anti anxiety medication to take ahead of time and used gas on my during the appointment to help. When I still threw up all over the place they were very kind and cleaned me up and acted very professionally about it.

I don’t usually write review.I recently moved to Seattle and visited Fidler because of the positive reviews. Staffs are very wonderful, but note this place runs minimum dentist, always working on multiple patients at a time, along with an army of staff. I understand the idea of streamlining, reducing bottleneck and delegating, but I see this was taken to a new level.My first visit was for taking care of a cavity and getting a filling. My first day, I get an x-ray followed by a very thorough long list of suggestion of what could be wrong and done to my teeth. After close to an hour of waiting, I was finally evaluated and scheduled to come back.After the second visit, I made a future cleaning appointment (as I usually do at other dental office), but I ended up getting fined for not calling 5 days in advance. This was because it was my second time cancelling, (the first time was when I had a cough). I explained that I had to accommodate a last minute work travel request, and this was 2 days in advance when the office called me for a reminder, and not 5 ... which also did not make sense.

Another great appointment with Dr Fiddler. Hygienist Ryan was exceptional!

Everyone was really nice and they always made sure I was okay throughout the cleaning and checkup.

Buyer be aware. Friendly staff, scheduling accommodation and comfortable setting are customer service/marketing. Whats more important is finding a dentist who is genuinely interested in my health without unnecessary treatment. When Dr Fidler suggests treatments, I recommend asking her about other treatment options, their pros and cons, if and how long would the potential risk cause harm, what percentage of patients actually ended up with the potential problem. I would also research the potential future problem online and get a second opinion from another dentist.

I have been going to Fidler for years, just had my first Covid-era visit for cleaning and was super impressed at the thoughtful safety protocols in place.

Its strange to leave a super positive review for a dentist, but this whole practice is one class act! Dr Fidler is super competent and my hygienist has the best touch of any Ive experienced in my 66+ years. Add the efficient office staff, and those all make this practice great.

Dr Fidler and her dental staff are fantastic. Always friendly and accommodating for routine visits; effective and empathetic when the occasional dreaded dental emergency arises. The desk staff deserve five stars as well for accommodating schedules and always working hard to make sure insurance is lined up correctly. We recently moved to a more distant neighborhood but it’s worth the effort to stay with Dr Fidler.

I had dental anxiety for decades before coming to see Dr. Fidler. Shes an excellent dentist, her team is incredible and its a bonus to be able to watch movies while getting cavities filled. I actually looking forward to my two checkups a year!

I enjoyed my visit yesterday. Everyone who helped me was competent, cheerful, and helpful. As a senior citizen, I especially appreciated their patience in answering my questions and attending to every request I made.

Dr Fidler may have good technology and comfortable setting, but she promotes many more treatments then other dentists. I want to cry when I think about all the unnecessary treatments I underwent because they hurt and costed a lot. I trusted her because I was not sophisticated enough to understand what’s necessary. I happened to talk to another patient recently and he aid that Dr Fidler asked him to do lots of treatment, which were considered unnecessary by other dentists when he sought for a second opinion.I wish I could reverser those treatments!

This is how every dentist office should be! The entire staff has always been warm and welcoming and is always checking in throughout every procedure to make sure you are comfortable. I had a hygiene appointment on November 20th at 1:00. I think i saw Vince, but not sure. I had seen Jessica for a few appointments, but she was on leave. My visit with Vince? was disheartening in some respects. The technical cleaning was fine, but he did a gum rating, and I had some 4s. As we neared the end of the appointment, we discussed using the waterpic, new for me. I said that I would be willing to try it. He told me a story about how his dad would not use floss, and used the water pic. He then said to me, an older adult I want you to promise me that you will buy one, and use it every day Never having used one, I got no instruction, and I felt condescended to by his demand of a promise. We had no prior relationship to frame this demand. He then said if I did not use it, we would have an extensive cleaning in 2 years. I did not like the manner of this communication, or the kind of or else that was stated. I left feeling discouraged after I felt that I had upped my game with brushing and flossing. My contacts with Jessica have been very professional and supportive. This experience was not that. I do not wish to see him again, and would like to schedule with Jessica in May if possible. The kindness and knowledge of Dr. Fidler and her staff is always a pleasure to deal with, from Alexandra at the front desk to Ally, who is so thoughtful as she does her work, to Dr. Fidler herself, who clearly explains procedures and options for you - and every other staff member who has worked with me. As someone who often found better things to do than going to the dentist, Im glad I found Dr. Fidlers office even though I no longer live in the neighborhood! (If they were only open a bit later, or Saturdays....)

This is THE BEST dentist office I have EVER been to. The staff are genuinely happy to be there and they welcome each patient as though they are happy to see them. I dont know anyone that likes going to the dentist and I dont either; that being said, I dont dread my appointments and I dont fret about going to the dentist. Do yourself and your family a favor and let Dr. Fidler and her staff fiddle on your teeth.

This is a company dedicated to redefining what a visit to the dentist feels like. They do everything possible to make it pleasant, like offering a warm washcloth when youre done. Also, theyre always ready on time--they dont leave me sitting in the waiting room.

Fidler on the Tooth is one of only two positive dental experiences Ive ever had in my life.I have developed a lot of anxiety around dental visits after a great number of poor experiences. On my first visit here, the woman I saw asked lots of questions and listened carefully to all my concerns. She was empathetic about what Id gone through previously and did an excellent job of talking me through all the procedures I would need. They offer many solutions to dental anxiety, and do a wonderful job of treating me like a human being and not just some teeth that need fixing.For the first time in 16 years I have a dentist who Im not stressed out about going to for fear of something going wrong.

After years of serious neglect, I finally starting going to the dentist. A friend recommended Fidler on the Tooth to me and I’m recommending them to you! I don’t love going to the dentist but I truly love Dr Fidler and everyone that works for her. One of the first things that was said to me when I started seeing Dr Fidler was “we can get your mouth back to healthy!” From then forward I had/still have a team of cheerleaders that want me to succeed in my goal of having a healthy smile!Everyone that works there is super knowledgeable and super friendly. They take great care to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. They are very kind people who care about their patients. Five stars!

My husband & I have gone to Dr. Fidlers practice for about 2.5 years & neither of us enjoy dentists (who does?). But weve had such a good experience in all our visits - the staff is wonderful - very helpful & caring & gentle. Dr Fidler is a great dentist but her staff are all well trained - so the whole visit is a positive experience! They cant do enough to make you feel as comfortable as possible!

Let me just start by saying, I dont like going to the dentist. Thankfully, Vicki and her staff are always friendly, and comforting. The ladies at the front desk always greet me with a warm smile, and the assistant along with Vicki have a calming bed side manner that helps me to not be as anxious. Had my first appointment here today and I am generally a nervous patient. The staff all did an EXCELLENT job of explaining what to expect for my visit very clearly in a way that didnt feel terrifying:) Then, at each step of the process, they explained what was happening and what I should be attentive to and then offered many opportunities for me to ask questions. Dr. Fidler has a wonderful staff who really takes care of the details. I recently decided to come here after evaluating word of mouth recommendations of the friendly team, the fee structure, and the practices dedication to the latest in dentistry. Everyone made me feel welcome. The warm towel was a nice way to refresh after my cleaning and exam. A few days after my initial appointment, Dr. Fidler placed two fillings, with a gentle demeanor that helped me relax. Im not overly nervous to see the dentist, yet the small touches and personal attention made my visits pleasant.

My wife and I have both loved sugary snacks, and hated brushing our teeth since we were kids. As a result weve ended up spending a fair amount of time with Dr. Fidler and her staff over the last few years. But, they are a very friendly and caring group, and they almost make us look forward to having to go to the dentist... almost. I wish we could see them under nicer circumstances sometimes, such as a Sunday picnic or a Richard Sherman softball game ;) Anyway, were facing the consequences of our bad habits now, but Dr. Fidler and her crew are making it easier, and as painless as possible for us. We highly recommend them, especially if you have some fear of going to the dentist.

Dr. Fidler and her team were outstanding. The entirety of my treatment they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the way my teeth turned out, and accommodated any changes that needed to be done along the way! The invisalign braces were extremely helpful, and easy to use. My teeth look great, and I never had any problems along the way. Thanks again Dr. Fidler!

My two daughters, 2 and 4, had their checkups here and the staff was amazing. From the front desk receptionist to everyone in the back. Very helpful and were very good with my girls. My girls loved thier experience and continue to ask to go back! Now thats a good dentist worth going back to!

Horrible place. Horrible people. Do not recommend it in anyway.Told me I had 7 cavities. There was a sense on urgency to filling these...I was suspicious since it was 6 months since my last appointment at my home dentist.I saw my home dentist about a month after coming here. He told me I had one cavity (The whole reason I came in in the first place).This was a few years ago, I see another dentist in Seattle now and she’s great. Since then I have only had two cavities (including the original).It may be a few years ago, but it’s still relevant as the original 7 cavities they told me I have still don’t exist.Horrible people for being willing to drill into someone’s teeth for money. They wanted to charge me $1800, only partially covered by insurance.Obviously I never came back here. I suggest you be cautious with these immoral people.

The level of care at Fidler is out of this world. I went, cautiously, after avoiding dental care for about a decade. My only experiences before that were fairly traumatic and caused a very high level of anxiety that prevented me from seeking the care that my teeth were demanding.From the moment I emailed them with my timid inquiry until last week when I had my second deep cleaning appointment, the entire staff has been actively engaged in making this an emotionally and physically painless process.My hygienist, Ally, was beyond patient with my questions. She explained every step of her work and routinely checked on my comfort levels. I mentioned during my first appointment that ONE of the numbing shots was painful (maybe 3/10 pain at most). Well, the next time I came in she mentioned that one painful shot and said she had learned a new technique that should prevent it from hurting- and it didn’t! An entire round of numbing shots and not one pinch of pain. The fact that she not only remembered my feedback but she actively sought out new information for the benefit of her patient(s) made me feel overwhelmed with gratitude.The staff at Fidler truly respect their patients. They will welcome you with open arms and change the way you see dentistry.

My experience with Dr. Fidler and her entire staff has been nothing but positive. On my first visit my hygienist explained every step of what she was doing and what was going on with my teeth. The intake was very thorough, and I felt like for the first time someone was actually looking at my mouth and teeth function holistically and without judgement. The function, and more importantly to me, the cost of each procedure was explained beforehand, and I felt confident that not only was I getting good care, but that I wouldnt get any surprises when it came to the bill. I appreciated being offered a neck pillow and other comforts while in the dental chair. One final small positive: the bathroom was amazing! It was clean, smelled good, and had high quality toilet paper and hand soap This might sound crazy, but its these small things that made the office as a whole feel welcoming and anxiety-reducing.

Been going here my life. Dr. Fidler and the entire staff are very friendly and take great care of you while be completely honest with you. Highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for a dentist in the greater Seattle area

Worst experience with a dentist. I have always been most comfortable seeing a female dentist. This is definitely NOT the case with Dr. Fidler. She was extremely short with me and cold. I felt JUDGED and critiqued by her rather than cared for. Overcharged me as well from what they originally quoted for the work I needed done. Awful and uncomfortable place.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Fidler since having some pretty complicated dental issues in 2001. No one else could do anything about them until I saw Dr. Fidler. She is VERY skilled. She fixed all of my dental problems and saved my smile. I’m from Japan, and back in 2001 my English was not so great, but they were very patient with me. I like that she always takes the time to explain what’s expected to happen and what options I have. I also like that they have kept up with the latest technology; they work very well with the lab to make beautiful crowns. Their office is always clean and neat, and the people who work there are always friendly and helpful. They are all beautiful as well :-) They make the patients feel very comfortable and welcome there. I like that they hardly make mistakes on billing, either – that saves a lot of time! There is one Dental Assistant there that I feel is like a “life saver” to me, and I love seeing her every time I go there. They are the best if you have rather serious and complicated dental issues and you care about your smile. I no longer live in Seattle, but it’s worth the commute to see this wonderful doctor and her team! THANK YOU!!

This place is pretty awesome. The dentists are for everyone and are very careful with everything they do. Whether its cleaning your teeth or taking a cavity out. You will always feel safe and they do a fantastic job.

I love Dr. Fidler and the staff, they are always so nice and engaging whenever I come into the office. They have the latest technology so things are quick and painless which is great in a dentist 🙂 Highly recommend the office and Dr. Fidler.

Let me start by saying I generally dont like going to the dentist and my last 3 have been disappointing - everything from overselling, not listening to me and some very inappropriate conversation. I wanted to wait to write this review until I had been there a few times, ya know, just to make sure the first great visit wasnt some purple unicorn or something. I have now been in twice for two cleanings and a filling and I am impressed. Everyone in the office is genuinely nice and happy, from Tameka in the front to everyone in the back! I have had personal interactions with Vince who is a very gentle and kind person. I had my teeth cleaned twice by Jessica who comes off as a very detailed person and seemed to be pretty in tune to my needs while the cleaning was taking place (thank you). I met with Dr. Fidler both times and she spent as much time as I needed explaining my dental needs. They take pictures of all of your teeth and show you what they are seeing which I think is super cool and dont oversell their recommendations. Overall, I couldnt be happier with the entire process and I would recommend Fidler on the Tooth to anyone, including my wife and our two kids who are now also patients. Thank you for taking care of my teeth!10/16/19 Update:I still love this place and everything about it! I cant recommend it enough!!7/13/21Totally different experience unfortunately. Bedside manner was absent from hygienist. Her information was very preachy and therefore not well received. Overall it felt much different than times of past - almost robotic or corporate and missed the friendly vibe from prior visits. Covid has changed a lot of businesses and Im hoping my favorite dentists isnt one of them. Less preaching and more friendliness please :)

After who know how many years of not seeing a dentist due to a pretty heavy phobia probably induced by very bad childhood dentists, my wife persuaded me to see Dr. Fidler.She and her staff were incredibly kind and patient with me during my initial visits. Fidler on the Tooth is an awesome dental clinic. My cousin told me that this clinic is equipped with the current technology to diagnose early stages of tooth decay. Well I guess most of the clinics nowadays can do that..Really skeptical huh? =) Their staff and the lady dentistare really professional and very accommodating. After a particularly bad experience, I avoided going to dentist for far too many years. Dr. Fidler and her team could not have been better for someone who dreaded the dentist. Not only did they not judge me for years of dental neglect, they provided excellent care while doing everything possible to make me comfortable (allaying fears and minimizing pain).

Fidler on the Tooth takes such fantastic care of me (and my teeth!).Prior to going to Fidler, I had not been to the dentist in several years and was concerned about getting a lectured accordingly. This was not my experience at all! Dr. Fidler and her staff have focused instead on getting me the care that I needed without an pressure for additional un-necessary treatments. Since I have started going to Dr. Fidler I have seen a great improvement in my oral health. Her and her staff also give great advice on good oral hygenine which mitigate issues going forward.Overall, a great experience. Im so happy I go there.

I had never been to a dental office that cared so much about my comfort during both regular cleanings and tooth restructuring. It was so easy to relax and feel comfortable with the staff. Fidler On the Tooth will be my dental office of choice for a long long time!

Free coffee, chocolate, or tea and snack bars and a variety of magazines to read while briefly waiting to be seen. I came for a teeth cleaning. Plenty of parking in the lot nearby and if you are brave, you can use the Burke Gilman Bike Trail 25 feet away from the building.

Ive been coming here since 2014 and have always enjoyed my visits. Super friendly staff and very thorough check-ups!

Vicki Fidler is a wonderful. sensitive dentist and she hires people who have these same qualities.people.Going to the dentist is actually a pleasure.
