Great, thorough yet quick first time visit. Dentist explained all my questions and was very pleasant. I did notice after the fact, didnt get a new toothbrush, however got a couple lying around so will def be switching my current one out. Wonderful, on time practice! Look forward to my next cleaning

Im relatively new to the Ballard area and recently became a patient. Ive been here for general cleanings and fillings and always have a pleasant experience with all of the staff. Dr. Kwong + the team made me feel safe & heard all of my concerns. One of the hygienists, Rachel, even went above and beyond when I needed to remove earrings for a panoramic x-ray by helping me remove my earring(!) and offered to place them in a cleaning agent. Highly recommend.

Ive been going to Ballard Dentistry for a while. I live nearby where the office is located. I had a teeth cleaning today and Hilary was very thorough and professional. They have great staff who work the front desk. Play awesome upbeat music. Very clean area and lounge is modern. Very pleased with the staff at Ballard Dentistry. I highly recommend.

This was my first visit to Ballard Dentistry and I had a fabulous experience. It is state of the art, top notch Dr and staff, state-of-the-art equipment and very personal care. Cant say enough about my dentist! Because of the pandemic I was putting off my dental visits ...but then had an emergency with a failed crown. Not wanting to go back to my old dentist, I walked into Ballard Dentistry as a new patient. They had safety precautions in place that reassured me. My hygienist was awesome- gentle, personable and informative. Dr. Streiff was excellent- explained what was happening with my teeth and made a plan. I had big fears during the crown repair but Dr. Streiff and team kept me calm and comfortable, and the work was well done. On top of this, Ballard D worked out a payment plan for me so that I could spread out the remaining costs that my insurance didnt cover. Are you looking for a gentle, skilled, empathetic team of happy people to take care of your teeth? This is the place to go :)

Great experience. Staff was professional and friendly. Office was super clean and very safe. Michaela the Hygienist was super gentle and very attentive, and communicated clearly. Great all around, from the front desk to the hygienist to the doctor. No complaints about my own appointment. The doctor was really great with my baby for his first cleaning (although he hated it!). This office accommodates families by block scheduling for parents and children, which makes going to the dentist just one trip. I definitely recommend Ballard Dentistry!

As usual, my dental experience was excellent. All necessary procedures are performed throughout the year and my teeth are dong well for being 82 years old.

Dr. Streiff and her staff were friendly and professional and the office is extremely clean- especially in light of the Covid Pandemic I felt safe with their strict adherance to safety protocols. They were able too see me on few hours notice for my dental emergency. The diagnosis and treatment happened soon after and the next day included a pleasantly surprising follow up message asking how I was doing from Dr. Streiff. I look forward to future visits to help with any more dental issues

I genuinely had a good time at my appointment. The staff is fun and kind, and explained everything better than Ive ever gotten. My teeth are sparkling and I laughed a lot, what more can you ask.

Multiple exams charged with no work done. Dentists are unable to preform operations in office, will refer most services out. Avoid at all costs, and call around before committing to any work with this dentist or any exams. Make sure work can be preformed at that office same day as the exam.Reply: thank you for the reply. After getting pricing quotes from four other local dentists, the same procedure came in at 25-40% cheaper without waiting or referral when reviewing the same treatment plan. Ballard density was the only one to advise a specialist, including the periodontist referred to by Ballard dentistry. I advise patients simply to explore all options and costs before making any commitments.

I recently had dental work done at this office. I have to write this review, because my dental experiences have typically been less than desirable. Until now !I had the best experience at this office. My Dentist was not only incredible at her ability to do my whole process almost pain free. She was also an incredible artist in how she created a great smile for me. It looks and feels incredible ! Great Job !I will be back to get a couple more teeth taken care of by this office. I had an implant placed and the crown made by Dr Kyle. It is amazing how good it feels and looks. I have had 2 other implants done in another state and the one Dr. Kyle is by far the best. It was a great experience. He and his assistant are a great team

I do not trust this dentist. I got a mouth guard here which was so poorly designed it put all the pressure on my front two teeth. Fast forward 6 months and my front teeth were misaligning. I informed Dr Su and my concerns were dismissed. I visited another dentist who confirmed the mouth guard was garbage. I was out $500 and needed a new mouth guard to correct the issue. There was no way I was getting the replacement from Ballard Dentistry.A new mouth guard and another year later my teeth are finally back to normal. Either this dentist is incompetent or intentionally creating problems to make more money down the road. My advice is stay far away.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Streiff last week and she was both personable and knowledgable - a difficult combination to find. She took time to explain all of her findings and a surveillance plan moving forward. My husband is now switching to this practice because I had such a great experience! The receptionist and dental hygienist were also very kind. Highly recommend! Bonus - they are also offering new patient deals - I think the practice may have been newly acquired. Regardless of the deal, I am glad I met Dr. Streiff!

The entire staff is very professional and mindful of your comfort from start to finish. My hygienist, Radley, is always extremely pleasant and he communicates throughout each procedure. The waiting room ambience is pleasant and the front desk works efficiently.

Ive been going here for years! As a college kid I had issues with cavities, but under the guidance of the staff here I avoided a ton of costly procedures. Dr. Su is incredibly knowledgable and is practical in how he approaches your dental care. Hell give you a variety of options, which I like. Growing up in California I dont think Ive had dentists do that sort of thing. The office is super clean, but its still warm and inviting, doesnt have a sterile feel that gives me anxiety! Definitely check out their dental care, theyll take care of you.

I was a victim to predatory practice. My old filling fell out and I went here today to check what is needed to fix it. A person Ive assumed was Dr Su (later Ive learnt this was his assistant) came in and started saying my tooth is weak, there is a crack and cavity and I will need to get a crown or I will loose my tooth. Ive asked what about a filling and was told there is no point - it will fall out in 3 months. As I wasnt convinced by his explanation and asking more and more questions he went away and couple minutes later Dr Su showed up.Dr Su gave me a very different opinion. I just need a filling and there is no crack and no cavity. My tooth isnt weak and I dont need a crown. I started ask questions about the different opinion his colleague gave me just moments ago. Apparently that was his assistant and he was trying his best to tell me what might need to be done to fix my tooth.To me this looks like trying to scam a new patient into getting a crown though fear mongering techniques. I assume had I accepted the crown they would happily charge me for it and harm to my tooth just to make more money out of me.

Dr. Su is By far the most impersonal dentist I or my daughter have ever experienced. He even, after 5 shots!, charged her for extra pain killer. She had to go get the filling he did replaced because it was loose. 12 weeks and still in pain we went to a new dentist, who instead of 5 shots and never really numbing her like at Ballard Family Dentistry, he was able to numb her completely in one shot and replace the flawed filling. I would not only not recommend Dr. Su as a dentist, but I would actively warn others to avoid him as a dentist.The support staff was friendly and helpful.

I have been seeing Dr. Su and his staff for years. I have some gum issues that require me to go for cleanings 4 times a year and I would not go anywhere else. The entire staff is always professional and respectful. I love the option of having text reminders for appointments. Even if I am only getting a cleaning not actually scheduled for a dental checkup Dr. Su always stops by to say, Hello, and ask about any issues.I strongly recommend Ballard Family Dentistry.

I had to take my 3 y/o with me, and they were all very friendly to both of us. My chipped tooth was fixed quickly and professionally and they were very open and communicative about further options and pricing.

Dr. Su and his staff really care about your experience. I had a lot of difficulty with a particular procedure and it could have been so nightmare-ish but Dr. Su took the time to find the best option for me. Everyone knows who you are, and I love getting text/email reminders the day before my appointment! My husband and i moved to South Seattle from Ballard but still come back for our appointments!
