Dr Anderson (dental) is single handedly the best, most compassionate and knowledgeable dentist Ive ever been to. She is also informed about what options I have for my insurance and is always happy and friendly.I havent been there for medical or mental health, but if you dont have insurance or the money to pay several thousand for dentistry, this place is perfect for you ππ
Clean, beautiful exterior, friendly representatives and furniture is comfortable. Would recommend
Neighborcare is a nonprofit public health clinic that accepts Molina, Applecare, Medicare/Medicade and other insurance. They can provide on-site mental health counseling (including walk-in), and have a comprehensive dental clinic as well (may be a sugnificant wait). Pharmacy services and case management.
This is a very special place serving the undeserved. The folks that work here believe in something and tend to have ideals. They help alot of people. They provide good care and are professional w much outreach into the community around them. The only critique i would say is that they should engage more telephone reception people because one has to wait a very long time to speak w a person.
The staff are always professional and pleasant. Iβve never had mishaps or a bad experience of any kind. This facility is a jewel π to our community.
I had to come into Neighborcare a total of eight times to receive six fillings (one was a two part process.)There are some very wonderful and caring dentists who I am sure just want to do their jobs well, but scheduling with them is difficult, and other dentists will often fill in for their sessions. The reception staff is very hit or miss, and there seems to be 0 communication between people and departments. My calls to the scheduling center to schedule several appointments (including an appointment to check work I had done at neighborcare) went unanswered or dropped several times, and getting someone to reach out to me to help me was a pain.I had to go in multiple times to receive fillings, which is no issue at all, but there was no communication between the dentists regarding which tooth needed what, and I had to multiple times make clear what was happening myself while in the chair. The lack of communication extended to the dental assistant preparing my mouth to be numbed on the wrong side until I questioned the dentist who came in to do a filling, and he had to check the chart for what seemed like the first time to figure out what was going on. I am happy to stand up for my own needs medically, but Im not a doctor, so I want my doctors who know more than me about dental work to be more up to speed on my needs so I have to explain them (possibly incorrectly) less. Before choosing Neighborcare, I read all the reviews I could, because my initial impression based on my contact with an intake receptionist on the phone was incredibly unprofessional. I know that people have bad days, so I didnt let that, or several negative reviews, sway my willingness to give Neighborcare a chance, but I am left wondering if I made the best decision.Edit (12/22): I was able to make a followup appointment after being contacted by someone at Neighborcare, and she did put me at ease regarding my problems being heard and listened to. I think your experience here depends on who youre able to reach and who you are assigned to. Neighborcare is a great low income and accessible option for care, and there are plenty of good people here, but if you need extensive personalized work, you may be better off going somewhere able to provide a little more consistency.
Honestly, most of the providers Ive seen arent great. They see so many patients they never really remember who you are and what your treatment plan is, and Ive had multiple doctors straight up not take any notes in my medical file to the point that entire appointments were missing and I couldnt get multiple maintenance meds on multiple occasions because they didnt take notes or send in refills. The support team is 50/50, with medical support staff being the best, and pharmacy and especially the dentist side, being awful. The dentist schedule person argued with me over trying to get tooth pain looked at and wouldnt let me schedule past a week out, and instead suggested I schedule a cleaning 2+ weeks out and then schedule the tooth pain exam then? Because is makes total sense I cant schedule past the first week of school as a teacher right now where my work also requires 2-weeks notice, but I can come back in a month to schedule it then??Their psych policies and people are rather awful as well, esp their psych person who told me I dont really have my diagnoses that were diagnosed recently by specialists that disorder and even if I did, it doesnt matter anyway bc my symptoms arent that bad? Theyre also not willing to work with patients regarding medications bc I guess everyone is drug-seeking, even with all the proper paperwork and no actual indicators of substance abuse?Pricing is amazing though.....but also, for a reason. Literally the only reason I still go here is the pharmacy prices for my main medication: even with insurance, its $399+ a month at any other pharmacy, but only $60 here, and I have to see one of their providers to use their pharmacy. So kind of worth it? But not really when I ended up in the hospital for a few days because my doctor wouldnt refill maintenance meds bc he was confused by his own lack of notes and now I have to pay $3k in hospital bills. So yeah, if youre without insurance or struggling financially, this place is an amazing resource to get your health needs met and can absolutely be worth the headaches. But a smaller practice thats more focused on their patients would be a far better option if that is available to you.
This place is courteous and clean. They are helpful.
For anyone terrified of going to the Dentist (I certainly was) this might be a good read.Ive had two appointments with them so far. An emergency check up for Tooth pain and an extraction for said tooth. Both times the staff were nice, and professional. For the first visit, I didnt feel any judgment (even though arguably the state my teeth were in would warrant it) And they did a solid job of informing me about what was going on and what my options were. The tooth extraction while not fun, (One of the roots was hooked into the bone, so it ended up being a 10/10 on the Difficulty scale according to the Dentist.) Left me under the impression that they know what to do. During the entire long procedure the staff was sure to stay in communication with me (I opted for Local anesthetic only), and provided breaks, (and additional anesthetic) as needed. For aftercare they provided instructions both verbal and written, along with pain medicine and instructions and warnings for that as well. The only complaint I have is that they could have provided a few more wads of Gauze, though in all fairness the amount provided was sufficient and I was told Wet teabags could also be used.So to make it clear for anyone worried, Despite coming in for an emergency appointment, soaking wet (Forgot my umbrella), while dressed like a homeless bum (Good clothes were dirty), and having an absolutely neglected mouth, I was met with nothing but kindness and professionalism. And despite having a 10/10 One of the hardest Molars the dentist ever pulled, Tooth extractions, It still didnt match anything close to my worse fears. Though I do have a good pain tolerance. So yeah, if youre avoiding the Dentist, take my word for it, just make an appointment. Theyre nice, Itll be fine.Side-note: Both visits were with different Dentists and Nurses, so my testimony covers four of the employees, which seems a decent sample size to me.
Poor service, you have to give your entire address, and phone number multiple times in front of a line of people. Then your doctor doesnt listen or she is just padding your bill. Because she doesnt listen you are given medication that isnt effective, and you are to see a specialist for a problem you never had and yourebilledfor the imaginarypriblem. You pick up your medication at the pharmacy where they toss things at you. You report it to their administration now, you have a nasty note on your file. You cant get an appointment under 30 days, you are forced to see a nurse who laughs at everything and tries to convince you the inaccuracies in your file is because you had an allergic reaction so now you have a heart disease problem when you dont.
Im a new patient but so far so good. Ive received outstanding customer service from their representatives, had a thorough phone session with Dr. Miller, and now have scheduled my first vaccination.
The front desk staff are great: kind, professional, many speak Spanish. The lab technician I had recently, dropped my blood draw equipment on the ground and after touching the ground, touched more kits, then came at me with the same ground-dirty gloves to draw my blood. I told her to stop, and she did! However, she didnt understand what the problem (what her error) was.
Great place to go.Takes all kinds of insurance.
I absolutely love this place! Its a one stop shop for every thing you need to stay healthy. It has doctor dentist and mental health all in one place. You cant beat that!
The nicest people work there and they really do care. Im going back!
Excellent staff, welcoming environment. Dr. DuBois is hands down the best dentist Ive ever had in my life! I have bad anxiety and he was very gentle/calm about the whole procedure. Barely experienced any pain, very thankful for the people who work here.
Been going here for quite some time. Excellent service
The dental clinic is really impressive. I was delightfully surprised at how beautiful it is inside the building and impressed with the staff in the dental clinic. Wonderful caring professionals.
Had a horrible experience at this clinic. My appointment was at 3:15pm so I showed up at 2:55. I waited until 4pm without being acknowledged and then asked when I was going to get seen. They said they had forgot that I was there.I usually have great experiences at the Neighborhood Care Clinics but this one is not a good place to go.
I have 2 broken wisdom teeth in my mouth that I have been waiting for a referral so I can have these teeth pulled. Painful. Only appts available 1 month out & by that time I have had takem to many bottles of motrin. Not only the pain But its nasty. Should serve emergency appts. Had a receptionist tell me that its bad to have that so close to ur brain.. and tell me the only appt they can squeeze me into is in 4 1/2 wks π€¨. This place is no good and neither is state insurance bc there is only a select # of dr. Offices that accept WAapple health & theres even less dentist.. π€π§
$27 + tip for a six minute haircut with cutter having an attitude. Had to come home and clean up the sideburns and the top of my head.
Good people who really care
Awful menu that tries its best to lock you out of talking to a real human being. Theyve rigged it so that pressing 0 just repeats the menu. You either are on hold for an ungodly long time or you leave a message where no one calls you back. Its so frustrating and cruel. The actual doctors when you go in for an appointment are fine.
Love this clinic! Iβve been a patient at Neighborcare for my entire pregnancy and now my daughter is a patient. The midwives at this clinic are fantastic. Itβs like talking to a friend or second mother; very comfortable and friendly. Absolutely love Anna and Leslie who have cared for me the majority of my pregnancy and post-pregnancy as well as the other midwives that donβt often work at this location. The nurse or medical assistant Henry is always so kind and whenever he assists me, itβs like family. The receptionists are lovely and overall, everyone here feels like one big family to me. Sometimes they donβt always get you into your appointment on time and sometimes a routine appointment can be long if a doctor or nurse is booked with many patients, but overall I love my experience here. If I plan on a second child, I would definitely want them as part of my health care team and no one else.
They are not really interested in helping the person involved with care but put up a good front
I take my newborn here and they always get us in super quick to avoid any potential exposure waiting in the waiting area its extremely thoughtful and considerate to his tiny immune system other than that this place is always spotless I always see at least one person cleaning and they check you in/out as quickly as possible
Very nice and polite
I love it there its medical dental and
This is the best dental clinic. Dr park and Stacy made my day today! I totally forgot that this was a dentist appointment. Thanks a lot guys! You re the BEST!
My rating of five stars for Neighborcare is informed and well considered as they have been my primary health services provider since March 2015. To begin with they actually have compassionate doctors. Often I have heard people cynically use this term because they believe truely caring doctors do not exist however the staff at Neighborcare are the real thing. As to medical skills Neighborcare has provided me with excellent attention for many problems ranging from post radiation therapy complications to sore throats and even an ingrown toenail. Where any treatment has required attention beyond the scope of their services Neighborcare has provided me with referrals for correct diagnostics and treatments. It is important also to note that my experiences with Nurse Practitioners at Neighborcare inspired every bit as much confidence in their knowledge and abilities as physicians. I could easily go on with more positive details but my review has certainly made its point. Just one final observation: During the coronavirus pandemic it has been my experience that many institutions, whether it be hospitals or stock brokerages, etc, etc, etc have apologized for their services being compromised and referred the user to their websites for better and faster service. (This inevitably turns out to be very frustrating, bad guidance). On the otherhand Neighborcare has truely made efforts to augment their systems rather than make excuses for shortcomings. It is now easier to speak with a nurse if you have a health complaint and you will receive call-backs when promised or if you were not able to reach someone when you first called. They will then take required time to assist. I have experienced that even the operators are willing to expend additional effort to provide useful information. Another final note: Of course for Neighborcare reception I imagine things must be in many ways business as usual. That would involve efficiently and courteously assisting many people from every walk of life, from every point on the globe, speaking many different languages.
Rather go without healthcare than go back here again. Building is nice, but business is bad. Poor excuse for health personnel. Hard to explain, but if you go there, youll see what I mean. The front desk people are great though. They earned one of the stars I gave and everyone upstairs with the WIC team earned the other. Angel and everyone up there are fantastic β€οΈ but the healthcare is awful.
I stopped today to inquire about shingle shot #2. I am not a client but the medical check-in staff were very nice, over-accommodating, made every attempt to assist me, a senior citizen. All of them helping clients were upbeat, welcoming and showed concern. Kudos to their team!
I love this new location. It feels very comfortable and they make sure you have a wonderful experience here. Friendly staff!! π
Evertime I go there I waited for a long time and that sucks
Best Public Health center in all of Seattle. I love my doctor. I love my dentist. I love my therapist. I love the care and kindness and deeply held belief that ALL people deserve care, and they serve it up with a smile and competence that warms your heart. Thank you! β€οΈ
Hello People, I have a very bad health conditions many of them critical and my regular doctor said I need to have an specialist to see me, and to be able to prescribe my regular medications that Iβve been given in the past to be able to be stable and in a good health conditions, and after 30 days of waiting for an βapptβ with no sleep and having very bad anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. Just not to mention all others symptoms, I explained my symptoms and described my day to day routine. The doctor was able to diagnosed my situations and prescribe me one of those meds that have been prescribed in my past treatment. I finally felt that I was heard and I was very happy to be able to received help with at least one problem but I truly felt that I was blessed that I would be able to sleep and tried to carry on my day to day life. I received a call 20min after and the dr said I cannot give you the medication that will help you with your sleep and stress because my supervisor said βI cannot give you the meds until I see you in personβ, in the meantime make another appt but the wait time is long. I have never heard that in the past, and drβs donβt offer personβs appt due to the pandemic. the apptβs are offered on phone appt only. I truly feel like that descition wasnβt the dr. I feel like it was an outside descition on my health. Iβm very disappointed and I believed it is not legal or ethical on their medicine oath of helping humans. Also the same dr diagnosed was the same as others in the past, the medications that were in his list were medications that he tries not to give but in certain cases he makes an exemptions even do the clinic doesnβt like their doctors to treat patients with certain meds But he knows that those are the only medications that are proved to be a good way of treatment. But now Iβm on another 30days waiting time to re do my initial visit. This is very frustrating and I cannot believe Iβm left with nothing again, and as is today I have slept 2 to 3hrs per day, and have panic attacks, anxiety, depression. I had to take some other things in order to be able to sleep, and to reduced anxiety, but it doesnβt work. I really having health issues. Iβve been calling almost daily for anyone that have cancelled so I can run over there be get seeing. I had to go to the βERβ and got charged 4K for a panic attack and anxiety symptoms, and they told me to see my reg doctor. Iβm suffering a lot.
I waited in the switching pediatricians didnt get seen until an hour after my set appointment terrible experience there we will not be going back again one of the worst places Ive been to in Seattle
Need your teeth. Go here bottom line.
Been going here for 4 years,Sally at the front desk t.y for all your help and support you have given me π
The drive here is worth it to get an appointment and see my PCP or any medical staff for help. There is no lack of apathy. They try to understand the needs of the patients and develop plans of care that are patient specific. The follow through is wonderful as well. The only complaint is the lab work, takes time to process, but I do not think the medical facility may be at fault here if they use an outside source to process their labs.
Kinda slow start
I went in for a financial review to see if I would qualify for a sliding scale. I was told to be there half an hour early, which I was, but was called in for my appointment late. Didnt qualify, if they would have put out that I needed to be within 200% above the poverty line, I would have known that I didnt qualify. Btw, the poverty line for one person in this country is $12,490! I dont know why the poverty line would be so low, to be at or below this line, youd either be dependent on others or homeless. If you make Seattle minimum wage you cant afford a place on your own in the city, but you make too much money for a sliding scale?
Remodeled and very nice inside and out. The people here are friendly and helpful. Low stress environment where you can get the help you need.
I love my doctor and RN.
My Doctor has been with me for ten years. Dr. Jaffe is respectful, caring, supportive and honest. I am lucky to have him as my primary care physician.
Awesome staff, non-judgemental and helpful dentists and doctors. Myself and all my children have been coming here for years. We love it.
Dental department best dentist I have ever had, considerate and very good at what they do
Well laid out. Everyone was exceedingly helpful. Doctor was easy to talk to and very informative.
I adore my doctor and each of the assistants that I have spoken to. Up front they keep things moving at a quick pace without ever being rude to their clients. Over all I am extremely satisfied with this place.
I went for a simple cleaning and cavity filling and had an amazing experience! Dr. Lee took good care of my fillings and Aisha was probably the best hygienists ive ever had!
They did more procedures than scheduled
I just left the clinic... the 2 ladies sitting at the front office are useless bad attitude the Spanish ladies and the other one is skinny with a glasses both seating next to each other . I was just asking them to explain something... the next thing I see is ignorance... I just spoke with the supervisor and left will never go there again
The place is fine, but the parking is behind and one should turn on 105th street after the office going south or before the building going north..Google map doesnt tell you that.
A nice clinic in general. I really like the providers including Moana Wiggins, but Neighborcare front desk staff/patient services and medical assistants can be challenging to interact with- as their patient service skills are mixed bag of new employee, poor systems, friendly/not friendly...
Have been trying to get an appointment for a week and no one answers or calls back when I leave a number. It is so aggravating and disrespectful!
Our family biggest problem is that you never see the same doctor
Great employees
Fantastic community clinic. Medical and Dental, adults and children. With Valley Cities (Citys?) Psychiatric clinic in the same building
Excellent for health care!!!
I cant get them to pick up the phone.
Ive never had a bad visit. If I wasnt scheduled to be seen on that day, the staff would squeeze me in.
They help you with certain things. The wait time is long and sometimes the session seems rushed .
Went in because I thought I had a UTI, they tested me and said it was normal no sign of infection so I asked them to do STD test because I know my body and I know some thing was wrong. They did the test and called me 2 days later with results all negative. So I was thinking maybe its in my head. Over the next its getting worse and I wake up at 5sm on a Sunday and my lower back to the right side was in so much pain do I Google clinics open on Sundays and found IMMEDIATE CARE clinic in lake City called And was the first patient of the day got in super fast did the same test turns out I have a severe UTI and kidney infection. Merced the kidney infection was due to waiting so long to get treated for the UTI then she asked me why I waited so long then I had to explain to her how the first doctor missed it. The nurse had explained to me even when people come in for a UTI even if the test comes up negative they still get antibiotics just in case because sometimes its untraceable when its in his early stage but to be safe they get sent home with antibiotics just to be safe. The first doctor didnt offer me nothing and sent me on my way. POOR PRACTICE ILL NEVER GO BACK. UTI IS SO COMMON, IT MAKES ME WONDER WHAT ELSE HE MISSES AND MISDIAGNOSED AND SENDS PEOPLE ON THEIR WAY WITHOUT TREATMENT. SMHπ·π·π€§π€§
Always very helpful very efficient
If i could give a zero i would i made an appointment today for my 10 month old child who had a fever and my 2 year old son who was coughing, i was 6 mins late and they refused to see my daughter and wanted me to reschedule. Im never bringing my children here again what kind of human refuses to see an ill child. Do not bring your children here obviously there not gonna care for your children also.
Worst experienced that I ever had!!! I was there in Emergency for the tooth check up. The receptionist told me to pay total amount of $ 85.000 before the check up and paid on the spot. After the check up the dentist told me they will call me for the follow up check but they never called me. Rather sending me unwanted billing due amounts.Which I already paid on the same day that I visited. This medical institute is here to rob money instead of providing good medical services to the patients. I would suggest not visit this institute if you live in budget life.
They helped in so many ways that saved my life. They helped through my transition and I hold them dearly in my heart.
Good people, good healthcare. Nurses are awesome and always willing to listen!
Great place and fast
Very friendly staff, I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Totally recommend
Very relaxing and quick considering I was emergency walk in... only complaint is Ive been waiting for call back because I needed approval from my Dr for further care. Its been 2 weeks.
Love this place. Very awesome place for care and dentist
They are very friendly and the doctors are good.
Doctor made a mistake. I dread coming. They forced me to sign papers. I hate them.
Great Dental! Great staff!! Pleasant waiting areas.
These people actually care about your health and well-being. Theyre not motivated by a bottom line, theyre simply interested in keeping you healthy.
Quality Care!
Good Clinic & good people & staff
Waited too long but otherwise quite efficient
Nice, professional and conscientious staff. Itβs been my primary clinic for more than 8 years.
Thank you for seeing me as a drop in after arriving 5 mins late in a cab to UW Sports Medicine across the street.Your people really put patients first.
This is the worst place iβve been to. every time we come my mother is tired and we come on time and we check in and we have to wait for hours for the doctor to check us in. even when the doctor takes us in, they donβt even have the vaccinations ready and we have to wait another hour. this is so disrespectful and unmindful of peopleβs time. when i schedule an appointment at 3:30 i want to be in there by 3:30 period. if i could give zero i would.
This place is great, the stuff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Very good dental care
Great dental crew and front desk staff
Very clean and friendly people
Excellent knowledgeable staff and of course herbal care.
Incredible staff and a clean, beautiful building with tons of services and community resources.
They played Steely Dan and Fleetwood Mac while we waited. How cool is that?
Scheduled appointment, came in for TWO issues during appointment that seemed serious to me. Was told they only had time for one and to pick which to be seen for that day. Are you serious? Take your time and care for your health somewhere else.
This place is a nightmareDoctors are overstaffed, administratively its a disaster, and the service is garbageI came for both medical and mental and got neither. I was set up for multiple appointments I had to bus thru town to get to, only to be told when I get there Im not even on file. No one has any idea whats going on and theres no one you can hold accountable for. I cant recommend avoiding this place enough
Very nice clΓnic.
Front desk (Tasha) is the worst I have ever seen; she is disrespectful and not willing to answer yes or no question. I am sorry, she doesnt deserve to be there.
Good for those on a tight budget.
There is an idiot at front desk with glasses he doesnβt know anything and I donβt know how they put him as a helper over here needs to be checked out who should be working!.. I have been waiting over 2 hours!...
Dont go to dr WongReally not gentle at allCocky and sarcasticI was scared out of my wits and I asked him how long he would be drilling and he was telling me five years or five months I thought that was very inappropriateWill never come back to this dentist but will use anotherHis assistant was awesome, nice friendly and 10 thumbs up for her, too bad she wasnt the dentist.
If your opponent is at 5 youre most likely to get in at 6
Exceptionally unorganized.
This place is criminal in how they handle their billing. Avoid them at all costs. They will tell you that you owe nothing every time you ask when leaving, and never mail you a bill. But they will send you to collections!
