I cant express how happy I was availing health services from Neighborcare Health at Rainier Beach. I highly recommend this health care, theyre professional & hospitable willing to assist your health needs. Kudos!

Every single time I call I’m on hold for at least 30 minutes or more until a receptionist picks up the phone or sometimes I never get through. Every receptionist is rude and they seem so eager to hang up on you. When I am there waiting in the waiting room, I hear phones ringing and none of the staff picks up the phone they just let it ring while they’re hanging out and chatting with coworkers. The only part of this clinic that I give 5 stars to is the pharmacists working downstairs, excellent customer service. Dental is horrible, the dentist or dental assistant was numbing me up, and struck a nerve so I was stuck with lock jaw for 3 months and they didn’t even take accountability when I almost had to get surgery to get my jaw fixed.

Neighborcare Health has taken amazing care of me. Its been a long time since I have had a primary physician, and its been even longer sense Ive had one who always takes me seriously, takes their time to answer my questions, and sincerely cares about the outcome of my visit.Wait times to connect with them on the phone can be pretty long, but I get it— everyone’s struggling with COVID-19 right now. I really appreciate how quick they were to adapt to phone visits.Megan Murray is a great doctor! I highly recommend this doctors office and their pharmacy.

This is a very busy, very caring place that still manages to get the patients seen quickly and efficiently. Pharmacy on site is excellent. Lots of parking. Wonderful people.

Dental care I needed was not provided but took me in for an immediate emergency intake. I was grateful for the intake but they are limited to doing little if you are not a patient.

Customer service is very poor! They sound very bored on the phone and not happy about their job. They dont have welcoming voice and want to get rid of you as soon as they can. They almost want to hang up on you. It is sad that the business world serves you better than the medical place like this one.

Normally I would give this clinic 5 stars Ive been going there for years doctor Ashby is the best. To day I ran into a situation where a new receptionist one Ive never talked to was the rudest nastiest piece of work ever. I hope Someone at the clinic is paying attention to this ....

I had a very bad experience. I took my son to the Clinic and gave them my insurance card. The lady that was working at the time did not submit the insurance I gave her and did not update my information on their system. Instead of billing my new address (Like I told them to ) they have been billing my old address that I lived in 5 years ago. It has been 6 months since I have been pleading to update and change my information. I call them often to ask if they have changed it and every time they tell me they’re going to do it but never have. Because of their lack and mistake this whole time my bill has been going to the collection agency. The mistake they made has been bringing me a lot of trouble. All I ask for is a little effort to submit my information to my the insurance company and to bill my new address. I feel like I am not asking for a lot.

My wife had a pregnancy complications, she had appointment and they would not see her, we had to go to the emergency. We will never go there again. Very very unprofessional people.

This had One of the greatest dentists office I have been to and really enjoy going there. I recommend the dental office. I have not used the pharmacy or medical clinic there.

Was trying to schedule an appointment for a required Immunization vaccine, and waited over 40 minutes on hold to talk to a receptionist. When I finally got into a call, I had asked if the immunization was covered for youth. Had my question answered rudely with little explanation, and when I was in the middle of asking for further elaboration, the receptionist hung up the phone. Seeing the reviews with others dealing with a rude receptionist, I hope to see action taken against her.

One of the worst clinics I’ve ever been, precisely the dental. Even if I call their billing department, there’s one lady who’s hardly understands English, hangs up the phone before finishing everything.. very rude.

Cant get over how much I love this place

Appointments are ok, not much they can do but prescribe medicine and the lady who does blood draws always seem have no idea what she’s doing and just sticking the needle in and out and up and down. I nearly fainted and was sick for 2-3 days because apparently I didn’t “drink enough water” which isn’t the case because when someone else does it for me, there’s no problem at all. And other people who gets their blood drawn before me by the same girl, I hear that they feel lightheaded. Get someone else please! I don’t feel safe getting my blood drawn there! Don’t be mad at me for sharing a real experience. That’s absolutely not okay.

Parking is horrible. Literally no one can park in between the lines. Lines to check in are LONG and they seem to not know what they were doing and have no communication within their clinic. They need more fast check in people and save the small talk. Also please keep track of those who didn’t even wait in line. Doesn’t help that they have a “new system”

Best doctor’s office I’ve been to for me and my two kids. The team is efficient, friendly and helpful. The doctor’s are super thorough, show concern and compassion, and take their time with you. Referrals have been seemless. Very lucky the office accepts TriCare!

At first I didnt like the clinic. But then I decided to invest a little time and effort getting to know the front desk staff and the people answering the phones. Theyre all like family now.I do think they could benefit by adopting a culture where the staff uniformly initiates that relationship building with all the patients. Especially because doctors visits are never what we would choose to be doing with our time, and some people are truly anxious about being there. Incorporating a culture that is focused on creating a clinic that exudes the warmth and comfort similar to what one might feel if the clinic doctor was their family member or close family friend would make also any patient feel better about their visits.I believe their clinicians are competent but lack some tenure. My primary care physician made a couple of mistakes. But the reason its called the practice of medicine is because its not perfect. No clinician is. So like with any good doctor would tell you to do, prepare a list of questions to ask them during your visit.

A super organization that is providing much needed health and dental care on a decent sliding scale cost. If your in the lower mean income category, set aside your pride and get down there, especially if your teeth are screaming at you to get them fixed! Come on now!

They took me in when I had a major tooth ache but instead of giving me relief they made it worse by tapping on the infected tooth I understand that is the way to find out what tooth is bad but atleast give some pain relief! Not cool

The front desk staff, women mostly gossip and talk about things unrelated to the job. When you call you cant get a nurse or doctor to call back. The front desk tries to be nurses or doctors then get offended when you are not comfortable telling them your personal issue. Since when do you call for help and dont get it. Being the front desk gossip Im sure they will share my personal condition with each other and people in the lobby listen. One new front desk was so rude we went back and forth the newest front desk said shes the one as if I wasnt going to pick up on what she was referring too as I was checking in for appointment. She looked up at me & quickly looked down. The same unprofessional receptionist almost hit me with her blue van in the parking lot. She saw me walking across the parking lot and she speed up inches from hitting me just to park since she had a problem with our conversation. Now in that moment I was going to clown but I decided to let it be. The front staff changes so much why would I feel comfortable giving details of my concern. I share enough info to pass to my doctor. I am comfortable telling my doctor the details. I called for the same concern twice and waited 2 weeks no call back and Im pregnant. My condition has worsened. I should not have to be treated as if my concerns are not important. Receptionist should not act like nurses or doctor. I have a right to speak to my primary doctor. Im tired of the unprofessional place and inconsiderate staff. Every year is worse. Highly disappointed. Once I was left in the room almost an hour because the staff didnt communicate where they left me. The worse service ever.

Every part of my emergency dental walk-in visit went smoothly, thanks to the great staff — the kind receptionists, Dr. Kao, and Dental Assistant Frank. I arrived in a lot of pain, and Dr. Kao patiently explained every step of her process so I understood my condition and my options. Frank was very friendly and helped put me at ease. Thanks, NHRB!

Had to see another medical provider to get proper treatment for a respiratory condition.

They dont communicate and act unprofessional at times. I have to change clinics because they never get it right with me. Or schedule my appt wrong. I feel like they dont care about my health just there for a paycheck. There are some good doctors there. But my last experience over the last 6 months was not good.

Staff in this clinic is very unprofessional. Their level is equal to some 3rd world country medical facility. They dont care about patients, they dont communicate with patients much ( about canceled appointment etc) . I scheduled appointment 3 weeks ahead to have 30 min. visit with doctor. Doctor gets sick and canceled appointment. Nobody called me that appointment is canceled. When I got to the clinic I was surprised that appointment was canceled. They told me they tried to call me and left voice message (of course I did not received any VM). When I asked them why they didnt try other way to contact me (like patient portal messaging to which they sign me up to ), they said they not allowed to use portal (except doctors). Really? Why did you have this online portal at first place? Rude person at reception also started to argue with me. I just drove there for nothing. This happened not just 1 time. I dont recommend this clinic!

Its just ok I guess my Dr. Wrote me a perception and didnt tell me were she sent it so I had to go back in line and wait then go back to there pharmacy which is were it was @ I didnt tell my Dr. To send it there so I waited again for them to tell me I had to wait bc I was a new client. Well I ended up not waiting nor did I never get my meds.

I have been coming here since before I had dental insurance. I do like the service here as far as my teeth are concerned. I never been here for my health needs.

Very unprofessional staff, got my name (both last and first) misspelled. Did not even ask me to check if they got it correctly . Doctor (Powers) seems knowledgeable but does not care much . I had a pain in my leg (may be early thrombophlebitis ). They said I had only 15 min for visit. He did not even examine my leg, just prescribed pain killer. I wasted my time. Parking is very tight.

I got my blood drawn there, and I can say it was one of the worst levels of phlebotomy skill I have experinced . The woman was raking the needle around in my arm pulling it in and pushing it out. One time I passed out during her blood draw. Really painful experience overall and I dont feel it needed to be. She pushed too deep into my tissues almost every time she attempted to find a vein.

People were nice. Sometimes long wait. Did their job very well

They also have dentists on the main floor also accepting sliding scale, which means the fee is based on your income if you dont have insurance and it is very affordable, so dont wait any longer !

I have to give Neighborcare Health at Rainier Beach and the people who work there 6 stars out of five. At first when we moved to Seattle from San Diego, CA we didnt have any coverage or any knowledge of how the system worked in Washington. Someone met with us and gave us guidance and we wound up as their patients Medical and Dental. They are mostly staffed with Physicans Assistants not too many MDs around, most of the PAs are young some its hard to understand their English but you can be sure that you will be treated with respect and kindness. We did get one doctor, I believe he was Vietnamese who would not look at us in the eye nor respond to our questions and when he spoke we had a hard time understanding him. He was probably the only one in that place we felt uncomfortable around. I also worked there as an interpreter, I went there many times to interpret for patients who only speak Spanish. They are very good at having interpreters provided for these patients and most of the care I saw in that place was either totally government subsidized or on a sliding scale. They help their patients qualify for the most affordable insurance possible. Its also worth mentioning that its a beautiful clinic with very cool art. I took a picture of one wall that I really loved. There is a place for the little ones to play. We are very grateful for the help we received there when we first moved to Seattle.

To make appointment is really hard on the phone. When I called, agent did not listen to me at all. He behaved me like I’m so stupid and he repeated the same things twice although my concern was something else and in the end, he made my appointment next month instead of next week. To connect to an agent is taking very long time whenever I call.

The receptionist was rude. The dental assistant was really rough shoving an X-ray camera into my mouth. Even after it was placed, it was painful. I will not be going back even though it’s close to my house.
