Been going to him for years now. He is an Etiopian man who knows how to cut hair(especially black people hair). A haircut is $20 and its always money well spent.

Good haircut, very friendly staff, super accommodating, offered free drinks while waiting and had baseball on in the sitting area. Felt really welcome. And they do trims for free if you get your hair cut there.

After ten years of cutting my own hair, I decided to get it cut for this first time recently. I found this little shop after reading so many reviews of people following this particular barber, Chris Nguyen from his old establishment.First off, dont be disappointed with the lack of parking, you could park across the street near the church. Second, it doesnt look like much on the outside but when you walk in it is definitely a legit barber shop.Im really glad I came to this barber shop. I met Chris Nguyen and asked if I could get a haircut, luckily he had availability and I was able to get a haircut right away. Loved the fact that they were playing Sportscenter on the TV and its a honestly a pretty decent barbershop inside. I asked for his opinion on haircuts and we were able to lock it down within a few minutes of looking through a book and asking his opinion. He is really easy to talk to and hes very effective and efficient (hes had his license since 1996!). I asked if he can make some adjustments to my hair after finishing and he was happy to oblige. He truly takes his time to make sure everything is perfect. I even got a neck/head massage at the end! I will definitely get my haircut from him again. Fantastic barber!

Nice guys, comfortable spot. They were able to fit me in even though I didnt make an appointment. The price cant be beat, and the haircut wasnt bad either. I might make this my new go to barbershop.

I got a fantastic haircut. I have very thick difficult hair that stands nearly straight out, and needs to be sculpted more than trimmed lol. Chris did an excellent job, expertly translated some of my clumsy instructions into what I was looking for. Biggest thing I noticed is attention to detail - clean lines, immaculate symmetry at all the edges, and really nice work at the temples and behind the ears.Chris could easily charge twice as much for a haircut here (certainly all the others shops do!), but he barely charges beer money for a great service. I will be back!

B does a great job on my hair every time and always squeezes me in. The schedule is packed so Ive never been there and seen a customer not leaving or coming in.

Barber (Chris) was very nice but the haircut was not, worst haircut Ive had. The polite manner of barber deserves a star but the cut 1/2 star.

I am an out of towner from Michigan, and am in WA for my sisters wedding on Saturday. Friday, (today) I had been looking for places to get my hair cut but got no call backs for an appointment. This place was not one I had contacted. I decided I needed to buy clippers and do it myself.On my way to buy some, I stumbled across this barbershop. It is 7:27pm, the barber (Bahalo*) had a customer he was finishing with in the chair. I told him my story and asked if he could take one more. Reluctantly at first, he agreed. After his other guy left he apologized and said it had been a long day and he was just about to close. I expressed my deepest gratitude for getting me in the chair. He did EXCELLENT work, saved me a lot of time, and money. I tipped him well for the inconvenience.Bahalo was pleasant, professional and did a superb job. Cannot thank him enough. The next time I need my haircut in Seattle this will be the place I go, and will highly recommend to others! I work for an airline, and know many people who visit Seattle regularly. THANK YOU!
