I have been a client with Kylie for many years and so it has been such a treat to see her and Ryan create their own salon. While a bit tricky to find on the first visit, this location off of Fremont Ave is fantastic. The salon is well decorated and always clean. Kylie is a knowledgeable stylist, always responsive if I have questions, and has never failed me on a hair cut or color service. Granted, I tend to listen to her advice on what to do with my hair. Highly recommend Kylie or Ryan for all your hair needs.

Kylie is such a hair wizard! I had never dyed my hair before and I came in with some vague dreams of purple hair with some hints of another bright color. Kylie instinctually knew what look I would love. My hair came out better than I could have imagined- its so multidimensional and the blending is seamless. On top of Kylies skills, Timothy & James are being really careful and conscientious with pandemic precautions.

I’ve been going to Kylie for my hair for 3 years now. I have never had a bad experience. She always makes me feel so comfortable and I know I’m being heard when I tell her what I want done with my hair. I’ve changed my hair from pink to red and green and blues. Anytime I want a change she’s ready to help me make all my hair dreams come true!! Honestly the nicest, professional person and I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else.

When I first moved to Seattle, I tried many different hair salons (including very expensive ones in downtown). I think I went to about 4 places and got 4 terrible haircuts. By chance I came across Kylie’s Instagram, and the rest is history. She listens to what I want, let’s me know what’s possible while keeping my hair healthy, is respectful, and ultimately blows me away with the results. Numerous compliments later, and I’m a forever client. I also met Ryan, who is a phenomenal barber! He’s very easy going and does AMAZING undercuts. It’s very clear he knows his stuff. I’m lucky I finally found two talented people that I can trust with my hair!

Ryan is awesome. I tried a few different places looking for a good mix of style in my haircut, and also wanting easy-going communication. Ryan was both. I followed him from his previous shop to current place, and commute for his haircuts. Recommend highly!

I started seeing Kylie YEARS ago when she was down in Portland. She is so good, I make the 6 hour round trip drive to see her when I need something more than a trim. Some people just cut hair for a living.... Kylies skills and creative mastery goes beyond that. I have never had a cut or color from her that I didn’t like. Her cuts are perfect every time, and no one can color like she does!

I found Ryan through my wife who saw Kylie. I really liked him and he gives a solid and probably the best haircut I have ever had. Unfortunately, I cannot give him past 2 stars because he has no sense of loyalty to his customers.After going to him for over two years, arriving early for every appointment and having good communication, I was called to work on an emergency. Because of this it slipped my mind to give him a call during this period. When I attempted to book another appointment he canceled it and stated because of my poor communication he will not see me again. Instead of coming to an understanding and letting me pay for my missed appointment (so he didnt lose any money) he just cut me off.Two stars because he is disloyal to his customers even though he gives a great haircut.

I can’t say enough great things about Kylie’s work! She has made my hair dreams come to life. She gave me my first transformative hair cut and color a few years back and I’ve been going to her ever since. Her and her husband are so kind and hard working. I love that their online booking is so easy and she always answers any questions I have.

I have been seeing Kylie for 4 or 5 years now after she fixed my hair after a terrible lightening experience at Gene Juarez. She always comes up with an amazing plan for my hair while keeping the health and integrity of it at the forefront. She always tells me when I have a bad idea (and I have had many that would have ruined my hair if she went along with them) and helps me find a good compromise. She is also just amazing to be around! I look forward to our appointments and spending time talking with her about all the happenings going on in both of our lives. I am a die hard Kylie customer and probably will never allow anyone else to touch my hair for as long as I live if I can help it (if you are reading this Kylie YOU CAN NEVER MOVE)

The space is nice and welcoming. Its very clean throughout the whole space. Ryan is amazing and always gives great haircuts. He always shapes the cut exactly how I want even if I dont explain it very well. And in these covid times they are over the top with cleaning and sanitizing everything.

Ryan is awesome. I have been going to Ryan for over a year now and hes always consistent and gives great cuts each time. He will give you suggestions and help you try new things or just stick with the regular depending on what you want. He is also a super nice guy and easy to talk to.

Ive been going to Ryan for about two years. What makes him a great barber is the combination of skill and service mindset he brings to his work. He asks questions, checks in throughout the cut and always asks if theres anything else he can do. After two years he still checks in! Its also super easy to make an appointment with him online, and he is great at letting you know by text when hes ahead or behind on schedule.

Ryan is everything youd ever want in a barber! He has an extremely high attention to detail with super clean lines, blends and fades. In the beginning he discusses what youre looking for in your haircut and will help you determine what works best for your individual needs. He also had an ability to just kind of understand what you need and the direction that might suit your head the best. Hes super helpful with suggestions and little tricks to make at home maintenance even easier. Ive never received such a clean and close straight blade shave on my beard and necklines that Ryan achieves with ease and confidence. He works out of the Fox Guild space in Phinney Ridge which is newer and comfortable. If you want a full service barber with attention to detail and is super personable, Ryan Potter is your man. 5 Stars, no doubt!

Ryan is a great, thorough barber who listens to what you want and pays close attention to detail. The beard trims are always precise and neatly done. He’s a great dude and definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for someone in the area for a solid cut.

Id highly recommend Ryan. He provides a really nice haircut for a good price, and is very good about talking and thinking over your options. Down to earth and pleasant to talk with as well. A really solid barber.

It only took one cut from Ryan for me to realize I had found my guy. Fast forward 3 years and the perfection hasnt changed. Ive gotten a haircut from Ryan every 2 weeks for the last 3 years and I actually have anxiety thinking about another barber cutting my hair.Its not only the quality and care that Ryan shows with his work, but its also his friendliness and dedication to his clients that keeps me coming back.Before Ryan, it was my mom and Great Clips. Both were terrible...As long as Ryan is around, I will drive whatever distance. 10/10, 100%, Absolutely no doubt - I would recommended Ryan to anyone looking for a quality haircut.
