My haircutter was Morgan, she is terrific ! I really like the haircut, I mean she is a real pro, and attractive and super nice to talk to .Its a cool shop, the folks are great.

The owner cut my hair and was very friendly, and the place has a great atmosphere with a cool wall art, so I feel bad leaving a negative review. But the haircut took 50 minutes, and I paid $30 (before tip) for a haircut I couldve gotten for $10-15 at a cheap barber shop in less than half the time. She opted to cut my hair dry, which let little bits of hair settle all over my face and neck, and left my bangs strangely long compared to the top of my head. She didnt conceal a scar on the back of my head at all after I asked her to, and spent a long time cutting and re-cutting each part of my hair. It looks like other customers have had a better experience with different hair cutters there. After making some adjustments at home its not a bad cut, but certainly wasnt worth the time and price.

Unfussy place to get an unfussy haircut. I like that its inexpensive and I can usually walk in without an appointment. I have really short hair right now, so I dont need anything fancy. They dont try to upsell me on anything.

Always nice people working here and they do a great trim.

I had a wonderful experience with Rachel getting a cut and color for my hair. She listened to me and gave me exactly what i had envisioned for my hair. I was also very impressed with the cut as she cut my hair along the breaks of my curls, so the kooky cowlick isnt flopping around like an extra appendage and the rest of my hair is smooth and laying properly. It also looks fuller and thicker. Rachel also took extra steps to make sure my hair suffered no damage from the double process.If youre ready for a walk with color, Rachel is the woman to see.

My teenage son decided he wanted a haircut while we were shopping in the Wallingford area. We noticed Lucky 7 down the street from us and fortunately they were able to take Jacob as a walk in for a faded summer haircut. The lady TR who cut my sons hair was very friendly and great at teenage conversation. The cut was well executed and reasonably priced for the detailed work. We will be back!

I moved here from the east coast about 3 months ago and every single time I have went to this barbershop they have provided excellent service and the haircuts are amazing. Dave cut my hair recently and shaved my beard. Both were done exceptional and he was very friendly. First time doing a hot towel shave and I wasnt disappointed. I would recommend going to this shop.

I take my 13 year old boy there for haircuts. Great place for kids this age! The staff is all so friendly and interact with my son in such an age-appropriate way. They also understand a kids idea of style, they know how to advise him on the haircut, take their time doing a great job, and he walks out looking fabulous! Their prices are really good, too.

For Rachels Hair service- in back room of Lucky-7: My cut & color was a very good experience. Rachels spot is a small no frills spot. I decided to try something new, save a few pennies when her Groupon popped up so I went for it. My hair has wave and my usual Aveda place wasnt getting color light enough. Rachels prices are reasonable; she is super cool. She took care to listen & she delivered. I recommend her service highly. Spot is tiny; the reason prices can be reasonable I suspect. Ill be going back. Bang trim $5. If you dont need all the extra frills, just quality, reasonable prices, and a nice person to do your hair, I highly recommend Rachel.

Moved here from the east coast and in desperate need of haircut for my job interview. Not only did I get an excellent precision haircut but a micro beer to boot! Was awesome and totally took the stress off thinking about my next interview. The staff and owner super friendly, laid back with cool art work. They also had a football playing on TV which I enjoyed. Totally recommend this place!

My two boys and I were hanging out in front of Molly Moons and noticed Lucky 7 right next door. I wasnt planning to get a haircut but decided to walk in and check it out. The chill environment and cool music made me feel relaxed, soI decided to jump into a barber chair. I asked for a tight fade and got exactly what I wanted. Then my older son wanted a similar cut, and he was really happy too!

I write this review with a heavy heart.The hair dresser who cut my hair was a lovely woman and a very nice person. She also cut my hair with no mistakes.However, she was very old and her hands were shaking. The clippers and comb/scissors were shaking all the time. And she was extremely slow.This was causing me a lot of anxiety and I have never in my life had to bear that. Out of professionalism, she should not be a hair dresser, as although it’s unfortunate for an experienced professional to suffer from age, it cannot come at the expense of a customer. And that’s not considering my cut took nearly an hour.This anxiety during and after the cut and the long duration should not be there in any haircut let alone a $28 one.Edit: Lucky 7 first commented asking me to take the review down and trying to make me feel guilty for this review. They removed that comment and now made their language softer. I did feel guilty writing this, but that is because of poor decision making from lucky 7. Anxiety is a serious and not a joke. The review isn’t about my haircut.

Walked in for a last minute appointment, and Stephanie was able to see me immediately. Super cool stylist, knowledgeable in the craft, & really easy to chat with. I booked my three week appointment and left happy!

My 13 year old daughter wanted a fashion color, spur of the moment of course after school. So we chose Lucky 7 Barber Salon since they are close to our house. Elaine did a great job!!! Thanks for getting us in !

She said she knew how to do a fade but she really didn’t know how too. Don’t go to this place. I spent $25 for the worst haircut ever. I could have done a better job cutting my own hair...

The owner is super helpful and friendly. The staff is seasoned and knowledgeable. I came in with a code red self cut and they turned it into my dream haircut. Amazing.

Just moved to the city and checked this place out based on the reviews on Yelp. Mark gave me one of the best haircuts Ive ever gotten! Lucky-7 Barber-Salon will definitely be the only spot I go to for haircuts in the city. Thanks guys!

Was looking for a new place as my fave barber at Bishops left :(I was fortunate to find Lucky 7 driving through Wallingford. The haircut was great, the people were nice, and it was in a great convenient location. My new go to place has been discovered. :-)

Great place, chill vibe, and tons of stuff to look at.

Says walk-ins welcome on the door. But even though no one was waiting, and with hours until closing, I was turned away. So its really more of an appointment-based salon than a barber. I didnt feel welcome at all.

Update: I never went back in there nor did I say I removed this review. They are being dishonest.Ive gotten 6 haircuts here. One was the best haircut Ive ever had. 2 were ok. I went back out of convenience and of hope for another great one. The last one will be My last here. The price went up 10 bucks (35 now). I got a mohawk and when I got home My roommate spotted a bunch of hairs that got missed around my ears and on the back of My neck. The mohawk is crooked. She made Me part my own hair. If I would have gotten a decent haircut I wouldnt be writing this. I wont even go back to get it fixed. Im pissed! Dont go here. Also if You are a girl and want a foil or something they will try and talk You out of it. I saw it myself.

It was alright the first time. The second time, the lady liked my current haircut and didnt like what I asked her to change it to. So she gave me a half-assed in between and now I need it cut again already.

Love Lucky-7 where I get my hair cut and colored, for over 8 years! Its laid back, unique artful atmosphere and friendly staff.

Absolutely horrible shop was treated poorly i showed up no one greated me some lady tosca or something was absolutely rude to me when i tried asking for service. would not recommend this place to anyone.

Loretta (LaRhetta? I cant quite make out the spelling on the card - sorry!) did an awesome cut for me this morning. Its been a very long time since Ive had a cut done the way Ive asked, but she nailed it. Good conversation, decent prices, and I didnt have to wait much at all as a walk-in. Highly recommended - they have a rockstar service to match the rockstar vibe in the place.
