I cant recommend this place enough! I am always happy to make the trip down to South Park for the atmosphere, talent, and accessible prices at The HeadShed. Ive received multiple bob haircuts from Kelsey as well as a recent pixie cut from John - both of them are extremely talented, easygoing people, and they really listen to what youre looking for. I walk out of the salon happy every time and get so many compliments on my hair (like, strangers stopping me in the street to ask where I get my hair done). Thankful that businesses like The HeadShed exist!

I am so HAPPY I found this place. I was searching for a hair salon near me and came across this one. I was originally looking for someone who could cut curly hair for my daughter who had multicultural hair. I had read some awesome reviews about Kelsey and decided to give her a try. She did an amazing job on my daughters hair. I then went back to see her for myself and had an great experience myself. First with a cut and then a balayage. She brought to life exactly what I was looking for!! I would highly recommend this place!!

I had an awesome Curly Cut with Kelsey recently and for the first time, not only was I happy with the cut, but the little shop/salon was really sweet. However, you should note that you dont want to get there too early, it is pretty small so if they are already with clients, the space is a little tight and you dont want to get in the way when someone is trying to checkout. To avoid in awkward/cramped moments, wait in your car and/or show up right on time.Ok - back to the haircut, I was surprised by some of the techniques that she used to cut my fine, curly hair but it resulted in a haircut that I have wanted for YEARS and have never been able to achieve. I have explained they style and shape when working with multiple stylists over the years, but they could never get it quite right. I didnt even explain the cut to Kelsey because I had given up on every getting it or having it work for my hair and her magic little hands just made it happen. I didnt realize how great the cut was until the next day, when I washed and styled it at home (people with curly hair understand, you never know how/if a cut will really work until you do your own curl routine at home), but I have fallen in love with it. So low maintenance and easy to care for... I LOVE IT!!! :DOn top of the great cut, her and her husband were really easy to talk to and laugh with, great sense of humor and love of food! I will be back for sure!

This guys have been taking care of my hair for almost a year now and I couldnt even think about going to anyone else to get my hair cut.Yesterday I got a straight razor shave (first one ever) and damn was that enjoyable! Not only do the sides of my head feel amazing, John also took care of my split ends.Highly recommend either of them for your services, they are the most welcoming and kind, and both of them are great stylists, so if for some reason one of them isnt available to give you a service the other one will take care of you! They are a great team!

LOVE The Headshed! I absolutely love my haircut - I gave Kelsey very little direction on how I wanted my hair and she did not disappoint. Its like she knew what to do with my hair better than I. Theyve won me over and Ill be a regular. She also did my eyebrows and Im super happy about that as well. The space is clean, tidy and it feels very comfortable. I hit up The Head Shed on short notice mainly because theyre a new local business and I was in dire need of a cut. I got much more than I bargained for. John was able to get me in pretty quickly...so off I went. The address takes you to a house, the actual shop is around the corner...obviously where the mannequin head is located. John and Kelsey are super nice, the atmosphere is super laid back. In fact so laid back that the resident stray cat, that may or may not be pregnant, was fighting sleep as well. I got a great cut. Every cut comes with a paraffin hand dip and shampoo and style...YEP...Im in. Done, done, and almost fell asleep during the hot towel on my face and the straight razor lineup. Ill be back...thanks again John!PS: They have a number of specials right now and in the coming months, dont forget to ask!

Being a local small business with a perfect 5 star rating, I decided to call up the Headshed. John scheduled me an appointment for the following evening, and when I arrived for said appointment John did not disappoint. He was personable, highly attentive to detail, and provided me with exactly what I was looking for an extremely reasonable price. Definitely where Ill be heading for trims going forward.

I love coming to The HeadShed! I travel an hour and a half every month just to have my hair cut by John. His consistent skill and attention to detail always has me walking out of the shop with the confidence of Kanye West serenading himself in a public mirror.
