I’ve tried most of the highest rated barbers in the seattle area in the under $50 haircut range and I can easily say Kevin is the absolute finest. His attention to detail is impeccable. He includes a razor lineup with his cuts which most “barbers” don’t anymore. And to top it off he is super friendly and a good person. I hate to encourage more people to go to him because I’d love to keep him to myself but I promise you won’t regret changing barbers to Kevin or someone from his team.

I was curious on the frown for the small tip so googled and seems also a big tip on an exceptional tip is expected. Sorry getting used to American customs :(. Hope the review makes up for it .

I’ve been looking for 2 years for a solid barber that knows how to actually properly fade hair. After 6 barbers attempting to give me a solid fade I finally found a barber that’s legit! Jeremy is an extremely talented barber that I will be going to on a weekly basis! Great convo and best haircut I’ve had since I moved here! He will not let you down!

Super great barber. Wed had trouble finding an appointment at Rudys after a last minute cancelation, and so I started looking at other businesses. This place was near us, and essentially the same price. Very glad we tried it. Our stylist was enjoyable to talk to and very good with the cutting (we are both very happy with our cuts), and the location was clean, well lit, and had easy parking. Were not going to bother going back to Rudys, honestly (though theyll always have a place in our hearts), since this place is easier to book and just as convenient otherwise. Highly recommended.

With only a face the mother of an ogre could love, it is imperative that I have the most stunning of haircuts in all the land. With a beautiful haircut it takes people’s attention away from the monstrosity that is my face.Ok... so maybe I don’t really look like an ogre but if you get a bad haircut you might as well call yourself one for the next 2 months until you can get whatever hack job that you’re wearing fixed.With having such a high need for the perfect haircut there is simply no better option for me other than Dexter Ave Barbers.Kevin is my main barber yet I still have no hesitation with Josh, Justin or Jeremy doing my skin fade. I been coming to Dexter barbershop for about a year and half. I was looking for something close to my apartment and heard about this place from my co worker. I have been a loyal customer ever since. I always schedule a Sunday appointment about once a month, with Kevin the owner and he knocks it out of the ball park every time.

This place is awesome! A great neighborhood barber shop with an awesome staff. Maureen is my barber and she’s the best. I always look forward to a fresh cut and conversation with her when I go in. Then afterwards you can walk across the street for some weed at the Pot Shop, and a drink at the Toledo. It’s a great way to spend a day off.

Kev is one of the best barbers in Seattle. I cant recommend this place highly enough. I used to try local chains like Scotch and Pine, Capellis, Rudys etc and never got a consistent cut... In steps Dexter Ave Barbers. Kev ran an Acme Barbershop in Cap Hill for years and finally broke out on his own and man has it been working for him. He only hires the best and perfection is what you should expect here. Try this place one time and youll never go back to another barber.

I’m fairly particular with my hair/choice of barber. Being new to the Westlake area i gave this barber shop a shot. And they didn’t disappoint. Jeremy took care of me and gave me a really great cut. He was attentive to what i was asking for and took all my requests seriously. No BS just a solid haircut. Thanks man, I’ll definitely be back.

I have tried a bunch of other barbershops around town and this is my favorite place by far. My barber Nick is one of the owners and he really knows how to cut hair. Awesome guy and really makes you feel like youre taken care of.I usually get a fade and its always clean and tight . Nick takes his time and makes sure youre happy with how it looks.The inside is a clean, modern take on a classic barbershop. They also offer straight razor shaves. The online system makes it really easy to book an appointment. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Jeremy is the fix to my quarantine hair, kudos to him! Maybe its me who havent got a clean hairstyle for too long, but I feel like the tapering technique of this shop is the best.

Haircut and a hot towel shave with Maureen was very professional and relaxing. Great atmosphere that is clean and comfortable. I have short hair and my neck hair in between cuts is a pet peeve of mine. She suggested waxing my neck hair and I agreed. Was well worth the little pain because my clean smooth neck is still hair free 2 weeks later. Best haircut I have had in a very long time. I will be back to have Maureen take care of my grooming needs.
