I have been coming to Nathans barbershop for all my haircuts for the last 8 years. He has never disappointed! Even though I no longer live in Seattle, a visit to his shop is a must whenever i am in town. I can always trust him for a perfect haircut. I highly recommend to anyone to come here, as seeing Nathan always makes my day.

Nathans barber shop is one of the best barber shops i have been to. Nathan was recommended by a colleague and one of the things i appreciate is that he always takes time to get to know the client. Nathan is literally the best barber Ive ever had. Ive followed him through different shops over his career. Best guy you can imagine and outstanding barber. If I moved out of state, Id come back just for his haircuts.

I have been getting my haircut with Nathan for years. First when he was at the Laurelhurst location and now on University. He has always done an excellent job. I love sitting down and Nathan asks, “the usual?” Just how it should be at a barbershop. And now with COVID19, Nathan makes sure to keep you safe by wiping down the chair every time with a Clorox Wipe, using a special clip to keep your mask on so he can give you a great cut and he even installed a special air filter for the shop. Nathan really cares, not only about your hair but also about you.

Nathan and his associates have been cutting my hair for about a decade. He works with his clients to make sure they get the cut that works best for them. Quality work, great attention to detail. I always leave happy.

First of all, I got the best haircut of my life at 75 percent of what I am used to paying, so theres 5 stars right there.Secondly, Nathan himself cut my hair, he is an extremely personable dude who runs a tight shop with good atmosphere. Premier league soccer on the TV while I waited, people laughing and cracking jokes, it was a good time. He doesnt mess around, is an excellent barber, and treats his customers with respect.I will 100 percent be coming back- would recommend to anyone.

Such an awesome experience despite the price, it was worth it! I thought a haircut in COVID times would be much harder and riskier to get but these guys are not only friendly but taking a lot of care of you, with an air filtration machine and wearing masks during your appointment!! Highly recommended and did an awesome job on me even with my specific guidelines!

Its got that neighborhood barbershop quality, for sure. Barbers are friendly and conversational, and do a good job on your hair. Definitely paying a premium for a cut here, though, and you would think youd get a hot towel or something at the end, maybe some talc or something. But, overall, great shop.

I have to keep my hair short for work, so I get a cut every two weeks. I have been to many different barber shops, and Nathans is easily the best. All the barbers are experts and full of knowledge. The prices are incredibly reasonable. Ive been going here for the past year and there hasnt been a single time Ive left with a subpar haircut. Every time I walk out, my hair looks great. If Im in another town or state, Ill put off cutting my hair until Im home and can get to Nathans.The level of detail that these guys put into your cut will make you want to come back again and again.The moment you walk in the door, youre treated like an old friend.Of all the times Ive been here, Ive never seen someone leave with a haircut theyre not proud of.

Nice place! No wait on a sunday morning, had the game playing, nice conversation! He was a little rough on my neck and I got some razor burn but he was really thorough and made sure to blend my beard into the new cut. Felt like a new man! Will absolutely be back.

Paid $30 for one of the worst high and tights Ive ever seen, had to pay half of that at an actual barber across the street to fix it. I am embarrassed for them.

Ive gotten my haircut by both Nathan and the younger guy. I get a zero fade with scissor cut up top. Im picky with my fade but both did great. Great atmosphere as well.

We love Nathans! My husband has been going to Nathan for years, and followed him when he moved locations. Now we take our 2 year old son to Nathans as well. Our son hated haircuts before we went to Nathans, even at the kid theamed places with airplane seats and cartoons etc hed cry through the whole haircut. His first time at Nathans there were no tears and now he asks to get haircuts!

Go here about once a month for a haircut. Always has good service but the wait times can be killer. If you got a day off and need a buzz this is the place.

I needed a haircut bad. My best friend told me about this barber that he would see and would always get excited talking about his experience seeing, Nathan.I’m very old school and love the whole “Barbershop” experience. Where men can go and get a straight razor shave, a good cut, get groomed and feel so good that when you leave all those little stresses just seem to disappear.I was craving that feeling.I used to be a Rudys customer until I stopped feeling that “Feel Good” feel, after leaving.I told my friend about possibly going to “Roosters” he told me it was the same as Rudys. Just a barbershop for an overpriced haircut and you don’t feel that “Feel good feel”So after all this bickering. Yes I was talking to my best friend whose more like a brother, about where I’m gonna get my haircut as a man to feel like I’m in a place where I can let whatever is on my mind out on the table and there’s no judgement and we discuss and joke around and feel comfortable. A place to escape from the real world for a little while to breathe. While looking and feeling good when I leave.I decided alright I’ll go see your barber.We showed up when they opened and we walked in when one of his barbers was working and my friend asked if Nathan was going to work today. His barber said yes he’ll be in soon. Having walking into this barbershop right on the street front I could feel a vibe like no other, like I could breathe. I hadn’t even sat in the chair yet.We left and came back when Nathan was in. I walked in my friend and Nathan hugged and smiled and was happy to see each other.I didn’t have to wait to hear to “Be seated, take a seat, I’ll see you now”I just sat down in Nathan’s chair, he introduced himself and i got the most welcoming experience of going into a barbershop for the first time.He wanted to know what the look was I was going for and he listened. Not only listened but he went above and beyond my expectations. Even telling him how I wanted my hair cut in ways I didn’t know how to explain (I didn’t ask for anything super crazy, I just didn’t know the correct terms to tell him how to do a cut I always liked)I came to this barbershop to just get my haircut, and feel good.It came time to pay and I opened my wallet after given the most time to check my hair if I was completely satisfied. Realized I did NOT HAVE MY DEBIT CARD.I joked with him saying I’ll pay him next time I see him. I went out to my friends car to look for my debit card. I was not stressed to the slightest. I was feeling good I look good I’m happy. I had no care in the world I had such a great one on one experience conversing with Nathan.I had such an amazing experience that I had to review this place by my experience, for the first time ever doing business here.I was unsure, I was nervous and in the end I lost my debit card. (My friend spotted me the money cause I couldn’t find my debit card)But I’m a going to be a customer for as long as he’s in business.I more than HIGHLY suggest going to this place for a haircut. Ive cheated on him a handful of times just to see whats good, and Ive always returned to my trusty bestie barber. Legit skin fades to tapers, along with his handy dandy scissor skills, regardless your age or hair style, Nathan can take care of you.This location, with the sweets and big screen tv, is by far the cleanest most relaxing barbershop Ive been to. Nathan may even sing for you upon request, and it aint half bad.Highly recommend this place to anyone in or out of the area. Well worth the drive.
