Did great with our kids haircut. Great deal, great location. Theres usually parking on the upper level.

Fast and easy. I got around 19 inches of hair cut and it took the lady all of 30 minutes to get me a new hair style. Made me feel very comfortable and loved the hair was, scalp massage and hot face towel.

There were 2 employees that entered the store without masks. Super unsafe, comfortable, and disappointing. Will not be returning.

Im a licensed hairstylist and have been cutting my husbands hair for the last 15 years! Since moving to Seattle and no longer actively doing hair, I was getting tired of cutting his hair every 2-3 weeks. The thought of someone else cutting his hair gave me extreme anxiety, but I knew that I didnt want to really do it anymore. To say that I am particular might be an understatement. Some would even say that Im a perfectionist. When I saw what the MVP service consisted of (and at such a reasonable price), I thought it was time we give it a go. My husband deserves a little pampering, and since he loves sports, this seemed like the perfect place for him. This was my first time ever being in a Sports Clips and I was super impressed. Tri was AMAZING! He listened to the instructions I gave him for what I normally do, and executed it accurately and efficiently. My husband enjoyed the experience, so we will definitely be back. I have been to this location twice and the experience has been very good so far. I usually go with Claire because she is an experienced professional cosmetologist who is very friendly and knows the style that I prefer. She was also able to cut my hair based on a picture I showed her (which is difficult for a lot of hairdressers).

Vicky always cuts my hair well and asks questions Im thinking to ask BEFORE creating an issue. My 5th or 6th visit and I intend to continue

Haircuts are good and I haven’t had any issues with the quality. One issue is that they almost always accidentally charge extra and I have to make sure they charge the right price.

Great staff, reasonable prices! I have been going here pretty much forever, they always nail it in regards to mens cuts. No complaints, also use the website to check in to make sure you arent going to have to wait 30 minutes or something.

My go to place for a consistently good haircut at a reasonable price! It can definitely get crowded during the weekend but on a weekday the wait is very easy. There is also a new app to sign up on online and minimize your wait! There are usually promos for discounts on the MVP (including a discount for students during the week).

Used to be a regular then moved. Just came back to the area so started going again, I got my hair cut there 4x and half of them have been bad. Today was too much, I spent a month and a half growing my hair back out from the first bad hair cut. Told they stylist not to cut my hair short. I don’t think he understood English and gave me a buzz cut. I haven’t worn my hair this short since I was in the military for a reason. It doesn’t look good. Now I am looking at months of growth just to get back to where it was. So mad and disappointed, but I guess I am the one who looks stupid for using this place. Never going back. My recommendation is not hire people straight out of hair school and at least make sure they speak English enough to understand what I am asking for with my haircut. Can’t take directions if you don’t understand, and taking directions is important in a stylist.

Edit: Adding the text back to the review. It only grabbed my stars, though I suppose thats better than nothing! Heres what I had tried to say before, basically:This is a great place to get a good haircut, in my experience. Ive been coming here now for at least 4 or 5 years and have brought my kids in as well. Not only have I never gotten a bad haircut but theres never been a time when the staff was anything but friendly and helpful.I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Thus, I have!

Scheduling here is poor. Signed up for a specific stylist, wait time for 20 minutes so I showed up 5 minutes before my time. Someone was up for first available already but not there, so a stylist comes up and calls his name. No answer, so she moves on. My stylist comes up next, Ive been waiting and then the someone shows up. So my stylist takes him back, and tells me I have to wait another 25 minutes. Sorry, but the guy that misses his appointment time should wait. What a waste of time.

I could have done a better job with garden shears. Length on the top varied by half and inch in random areas and multiple divots on the sides from clippers. Youd think theyd know how to cut hair but I guess not. Wont be going back there.

Ive had many great experiences here and the manager is a really sweet and super talented stylist! I would recommend going to her for all your hair cutting / styling needs.I would give this location a 5 star if the prices were the same as the sports clips in phx, Seattle is a bit pricy :(Get the shampoo and massage, it will change your day and keep you coming back :)

If you dont like to read sports themed magazines, bring your own. Get the MVP after a hard days work. The double scalp shampoo, vibrating chair against your back, and hot towel on your face will invigorate you. There is free parking above Whole Paycheck or on the west side of 12th Ave NE.

Most of the stylists are great at what they do. Place used to be great until the change in ownership. Poor and shady business practices make this place avoidable.

40$ for a hair cut for someone who is mostly bald....ridiculous.

They close at 8. I arrived at 7:15 and was told that they are closing soon and I should come back in the morning. I looked at the board on the wall and saw 2 people waiting. There were 3 stylist working. I can understand wanting to close on time, but you cannot work in this type if industry and expect that. I just moved nearby and based on this experience will not be coming here. Make sure you arrive and hour or more before closing if you want service.

Friendly customer service and great hair cuts. Expect to pay $25 for a hair cut plus $5 tip. It has the feeling of a franchise and doesnt have the feeling of a local Seattle company as compared to the Roosevelt barbershop, a block away.

If youre a guy, this is the closest to a spa day youll get. Get the MVP when youre feeling stressed out. The combination of the massage, vibrating chair, hot towel, and dim room along with the scent of that tea tree shampoo comes together for a feeling like no other. Treat yourself. I love getting my hair washed with super hot water. Nothing more relaxing. Ask for Cheryl, shell take care of you! Ask yourself- do you want to waste your time at the Hair Cuttery getting your hair hacjed off your hair in a NORMAL, NONVIBRATING CHAIR? OR, would you rather watch some sports, get a massage, and leave with a fly cut from Sports Clips?

Doesnt matter what time you get here, there is always a looooong wait. Either people in this neighborhood have no jobs or theyre always understaffed. Im thinking its the latter.

This was one of the WORST places i could have gone. 1st of all it looked like a mens haircut place so i decided to ask and they lied saying it was both when it was clearly a mens place. Second i asked them to cut my hair a specific way and the person decided to style my hair completely differently in a way i hate right now. AND then when i asked them to do layers on my hair she decided to do they layers she likes which ended up for me to have poofy hair and then thought it was ok that she could put some gel on it to try and make it better. I could do better with garden shears. Overall this was one of the worst haircut places i have ever gone.

She did such a bad job that Im sick about it. I spent so long growing my hair out. I asked for an inch off and she cut off almost 3. Its uneven everywhere and I could have had a toddler do a better job. She cutmy hair like shes never cut hair before. I shouldnt have paid for this.
