They were able to fit me in before I headed out of town on a long road trip to replace my windshield wipers, which I appreciated. It’s a simple service but they were great at communicating with me even though I left an appointment request on a Friday and they’re closed on the weekends.They didn’t have time to fix my other windshield issues before I had to leave, but they took the time to explain to me what was going on with part of it so I know what needs to be done when I get home.It’s been years since I lived in Seattle and last went to Repair Revolution but when I got my car serviced here 4ish years ago they were great too, thanks Repair Revolution!

After having several car shops treat me like I dont know anything about cars and cant learn, I found Repair Revolution and Im not changing as long as Im in town. All of the mechanics are friendly and will patiently explain what theyre doing or need to do to your car, why, and they also give you honest opinions on whether you can afford to put things off or not. They use a website that has animations of everything theyre doing, if youre curious, and it also keeps a comprehensive medical history of your car, what was done during last service, what needs doing, etc. Theyll also email periodically to remind you about the todos, which is helpful if you forget easily. Their waiting area is inviting and inclusive. Ive never felt patronized and I really appreciate it so much.

I enjoyed my experience here! This was probably my most positive experience in regard to anything automotive. I typically dread bringing my car in for anything, even if it is just to be looked over. However the staff here is transparent, friendly and honest. I highly recommend Repair Revolution to anyone looking for a car place you can trust and who only want what is best for their customers.

I have long considered finding honest mechanics to be a blessing. I went to a Diversity fair at Cal Anderson Park a couple years ago, and met with these folks. And they did not disappoint. I have long enjoyed supporting the community- locally owned, minority owned, small businesses. I have never before had a mechanic give me such a detailed report of issues and recommendations, like the one they provided. ... if you are thinking of buying, or own, a used car, consider having them check it over with their detailed diagnostics program. I am back driving my old comfy car, knowing what to watch closely.

Only reason I did not use their services was simply due to the fact that they are super busy. Which after speaking with Eli, I understand why. He was so helpful and gave me a quote knowing I was most likely going to need service elsewhere. My car is essentially dead so I need work sooner than later. BUT, I will definitely be back when my car does need a regular service with no time constraints. Honestly no wonder this team has such great reviews!

Ive been a Repair Revolution customer for several years, and love them! Its always a pain to have to take your car in for service. They are clearly knowledgeable, totally honest and reliable, and really, really nice people. Theyd love to explain what they will do (or what they did) and show you anything and everything on your car. And they are tenacious. when my check engine light just wouldnt quit, they wouldnt either. I have used the services of many mechanics and automotive repair shops in my 32 years of driving and owning vehicles, and never in my life have I felt as comfortable and confident in the services of a shop as I have at Repair Revolution. They provide thorough and easy-to-understand explanations and details, whether your have no mechanical knowledge or plenty. If youve ever experienced a mechanic responding to you in a defensive or abrupt way as you try to learn more about your options, you will be shocked at how transparent and patient the Repair Revolution staff is. As a woman, even when I actually knew quite a lot about my vehicles diagnosis, every mechanic in my past has spoken to the man standing to me; be it my husband, my brother, or my dad. It is just an automatic bias that I had come to accept. However, the first time I went to Repair Revolution they spoke directly to me! I was even taken into the shop to view the issues with my vehicle as it was up on the lift. On top of all of that they are experts and do excellent work at a fair price. I have even had them quickly diagnose and repair an issue with one of my specialty vehicles that two different vehicle-specific, high-end specialty mechanics had misdiagnosed. Now that I have a teen daughter driving, I cannot wait until the vehicle that she drives needs servicing so that we can go to Repair Revolution. She will never have to experience being talked down to and ignored by mechanics. Repair Revolution is amazing and once you go there, you will never want to take your vehicle anywhere else.

They take photos of all the parts of your car and then email you a multi-page report to keep for your records. They go over each section with you personally so that you understand how your car works and what to expect in the future. They keep the photos on file so that they can be compared over time. Im a cisgender straight woman that worked in the petroleum industry for eight years so I know misogyny but I taught myself how to do some basic maintenance on my cars so I dont typically present as the helpless damsel PLUS Ive been lucky enough to be referred to some pretty reliable small shops. Ive still been wanting to take my car to RR for a very long while. I knew I was going to be driving my new 2010 car across the state and wanted to make sure I felt safe to do so - I wasnt disappointed. From start to finish they were professional and cool.I booked my appointment way in advance to be safe and they suggested a comprehensive service that was exactly what I needed for a reasonable price. They asked me if I preferred text or email, pronouns, etc. and I got a really helpful reminder text a few days before.I dropped my car off that morning before work with their drop box option (my lyft was late and I happened to see how thoroughly they disinfected my car and the box before they got in.) I had just dropped my entire set of keys and they immediately texted me to see if I needed the set to my house, just in case. Thoughtful much?From start to finish they recorded EVERYTHING electronically and with photographs and I got my full report really quickly. Two of the most urgent needs for my car were engine and cabin air filters (they sounded almost stoked when I told them would be able to do this myself?!) and the third was an oil change and a build up of carbon (I suppose that can happen when you have less than 60k miles on a ten year old car.) The BG engine performance oil change wasnt a cheap service but it was extensive and has a lifetime protection plan so I felt that it was well worth the peace of mind.Ultimately, I was able to pick it up in the afternoon after work (again, they cleaned everything they may have touched.)I am 100% all about their mission (cant wait for a maintenance class some day) and will look forward to taking my girl Blue there when/if necessary in the future. I had my oil changed. The service was good and thorough, and there were snacks and coloring books and toys to keep my kiddo occupied while we waited a little over an hour. It was a bit chilly in the waiting area unless you were right by the fireplace, so dress accordingly, or just enjoy the coffee or tea.

Eli, Nell, and Carmin were clear, patient, and helpful. I feel like I know what is going on with my car now and I have never been more at ease about paying for services and repairs. I 100% trust these mechanics to have my best interest in mind even if that means spending less money today and learning how to do some of the work myself. Repair Revolution is run by women and queer people, the most frequently ripped off demographics, and I know Im not being taken advantage of.

I never feel Im being tricked into getting service I dont need. They tell me what they recommend without pushing anything. I am clueless about cars and always am treated patiently and with respect. I never feel Im being rushed when talking to them. Detailed inspections are very helpful and informative and the online system they use to relay information is easy to use and understand.

Trustworthy. First and foremost I trust the staff at Repair Revolution implicitly. They provide a multiple point complimentary inspection and always leave it to the car owner to pursue any repairs. They communicated with me throughout, let me know when things went sideways because they had to get another part, even offered to have me rent a car (since the repair took longer than anticipated.) Thanks to the recommendation of a friend, I have been taking our 2013 Hyundai Elantra in for regular maintenance at Repair Revolution for the the past few years and have found the customer experience far exceeds the local competition. Go to a doctor, spend maybe 10 minutes face to face with them, leave confused, with pills. Go to a naturopath or therapist, spend at least an hour with each and leave with a better understanding of how your body works, why it might not be working AND how to take steps to improve its functioning.Amazing customer service/car service—THEY KNOW THEIR STUFF...you will be treated with empathy and honesty, and you’ll learn about how your car works along the way too.

The folks at Repair Revolution are friendly, competent and thorough. Appointments are easy to schedule. When youre getting your car serviced, they email you a full inspection report that tells you (and shows you with photos) everything thats going on with your vehicle, and what needs service now or will need to be worked on later. Prices are reasonable. Excellent location right by the Sodo light rail station; I just drop off my car and ride to work downtown. If youre unfamiliar, make sure to poke around their website and read up on their great backstory, especially youve ever felt mistreated at an auto shop because of your gender or identity.

Wow. So I hardly ever write reviews, but Im impressed. I had left a 5 star rating, but Repair Revolution responded with such a kind message that I felt like I had to write about my experience.I called around for quotes on a routine inspection and oil change, and these folks came in at half the price of my other top choice. I hung out in their (surprisingly awesome) waiting room while they worked, and they had my car back to me in about an hour. They did a great job, provided a detailed PDF of everything they did that I can keep for my records, and were super kind and communicative throughout the process.Ive never felt attached to a repair shop, but I already trust them implicitly after one visit and cant imagine taking my car anywhere else.

Repair Revolutions is by far the best auto repair shop I have ever worked with. Their process and service level goes far and above anywhere I have ever gone in the past. I will use them as my auto repair specialist going forward for any car I have. They have been so honest and understanding of my situation with my 2001 BMW coupe and have helped me by diagnosing a highly complex issue with the car and were very straightforward about the cost/benefit of repairing the car vs getting a new one. - Transparent pricing + pathways upfront. When I told Nell I heard screeching noises every time I hit the brakes for several months and was finally going to do something about it, she explained to me all of the possibilities (rotor/pad/caliper) and best guesses for what needed replacing (rotors & pads) and why (screeching instead of grinding noises). Then she gave me separate quotes for the front and rear, as well as telling me that having it serviced same day would waive the inspection fee. These arent cheap replacements, so it was good to know ahead of time to prepare myself mostly mentally about the expenses.- Non-mechanic friendly understanding of diagnosis + repairs + why its being recommended- Great follow up w/ receipts and pictures of everything inspected, all of the tests they did, the fluids checked (got my oil changed at the same time). Informed me about near future services I should be doing for the health of my car!- Alternative for ease of dropping off and picking up car off hours. I wasnt sure if I was going to be at work when they finished, and I ended up being able to pick it up when they were open, but it was just nice that that was an accommodation.

My 97 Ranger was in need for a timing belt replacement at the recommended 100k miles. I selected Repair Revolution based on their spotless reviews. I am satisfied with the service I received and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic in the area. My experience is detailed below.I called to get an estimate, which was quite reasonable for the work that needed to be performed. I decided to make an appointment and they were able to schedule mine within a couple of weeks. I dropped my truck off in the morning the day of the appointment, and it was ready the next day well before end of business. The invoice was for the same amount as the quote. The shop invoice also pointed out other issues that would need to be addressed in the future. I felt confident that the work was performed thoroughly.

Eli and his team provide friendly and thorough service - one time I noticed some burning smells while driving away from the shop, and Eli drove to where I was parked to inspect my car - theyd thought it was just oil that got on the parts they were working on but wanted to make sure. it turned out, that was just that and the smell burned off quickly after that. I dont know if anyone else wouldve taken such good care of me so Id be safe driving home. LOVE them!

This business is the best. I recently took my 2002 Subaru Outback to them with a front end noise. They took the time to diagnose my vehicle, then took the time to explain what was wrong and actually needed to be done. It was explained in terms I could easily understand. No mansplaining! And in the end, they recommended that we dont do any work right now, as there was no safety issue. Saved me some money!They are impeccably honest, extremely competent, and accepting of all people. Finally I found a trustworthy mechanic. I bought a lemon that needed major repair and I worked close to RR and decided to take it in. They gave me the breakdown on what was needed to get it up and running again. I wanted a second opinion so I took it to a different shop that I previously had good service with. They recommended a whole new engine and 5k more in expenses. I decided to have RR repair the vehicle and its been running great since! They did the recommended repair for a lot cheaper.I like the folks so much that I decided to take my other vehicles here and each time left feeling confident the work was done correctly. I love love this auto repair shop.The inspection report for my car was the most comprehensive I have ever received & include photos. They diagnose the problem correctly instead if just started replacing parts. They also noticed that the repairs I had done in previously at a local Chevy dealership has been done substandard . They wrote a nice report for me to show the dealership in hope that they will correct the deficiencies they uncovered. My long time mechanic threw in the shop towel last year & this will be my go to.place for all my automotive repairs needs. Super impressed & super happy. Eli and his technicians are very knowledgeable and excellent problem solvers. They have solved several of my automotive issues. I have to say that their professionalism and customer service are amazing but the thing I value the most is Eli’s honesty. He and his technicians will never over charge or do an unnecessary service. That’s why I go back.

Repair Revolution was an accidental discovery and better than finding gold...! An auto parts dealer suggested them to install a trickle charger and i am now a confirmed fan. There are very few places where I feel like I can trust the mechanics recommendations implicitly and they actually care about your vehicle and you beyond what they can make off of you. Repair Revolution is thus far my best auto service and repair experience. The work they did was completed in a reasonable amount of time, and the quality was great. I especially appreciated how they held to the appointment time we had made and provided an unusually relaxing and enjoyable waiting room with some snacks, beverages, and very, very clean and cute decor.What impresses me most with this shop is the lengths they will go to when informing customers, whether thats in explicitly showing the customer how to do the repair or just telling the customer about their car. For the first time, I left a shop feeling like I better understood my rights as a customer in auto shops, not to mention exactly what was going on with my car and what expenses I could expect over the next year. I was given several options for how I could plan for upcoming maintenance. I feel like I know my car better than I did before, and especially how to best plan for its expenses. Thanks, RR! :)

Great service. Full car inspection E-mailed to me while the car was serviced, great guidance on what tune-ups were needed AND which were not (saved me money by advising to wait on a few non-essentials). Known for a great, inclusive work culture. Never taking my car anywhere else.

This is where I take my car for everything. The staff is super respectful and takes extra care to use the name and gender pronouns I go by. I trust these folks a lot because they always inform me exactly what my car’s problem is, without trying to charge me for any unnecessary work or parts. And they offer classes!

I took my truck here to get my brakes and 4wd looked at in November/December. I had a severe wobble when braking and a lot of play in my 4wd lever as well as a flickering 4wd light on the dash. I was extremely happy that they took me on relatively short notice, were willing to look at and older truck that most mechanics did not want to, and were extremely transparent with me throughout the process.However, I am very much underwhelmed by the quality of the work and especially for the price I ended up paying. Long story short, my brakes needed an entire overhaul ($3000) and I was told my 4wd was not an issue, but they could adjust a sensor for me (despite my insisting that even though I have manual locking hubs, the lever at the end of the day does play a roll in how the system fully engages).In the weeks following my repair, I started experiencing grinding in the front end and worsening 4wd symptoms. I took it to my local mechanic back home that I trusted who quickly identified the 4wd problem as worn/breaking gates in the transfer case and the grinding in the front end turned out to be rattling brake pads because it was missing clips from the installation ($12 part) that would prevent them from rattling. So at the end of the day I am left with MORE brake work that should have been completed in the overhaul and I need to rebuild of my transfer case.I think Repair Revolution is doing something that you dont see very often and thats total transparency throughout the whole process. The level of communication regarding the repair and its progress is second to none. But when it comes down to the quality of the repair and my own customer experience, I am more than disappointed. Maybe I failed to communicate the problem well, who knows? But my job requires me to use 4wd on an almost daily basis, I am familiar with all forms of 4wd systems, I would like to think Id be able to spot a problem and I did. Unfortunately what I got in return was an almost finished brake job and my 4wd issue (which was an actual issue) was written off.As far as I can tell, they have the ability to do great work, but they definitely missed the mark for me.

The place is clean and organized when you walk in. The people there are friendly and smile. The prices are more than fair and the work is honest. Theres no getting bullied or pressured into anything. The services and folks at repair revolution are a very rare find. Honest, Consistently going out of their way to make the situation work, again honest and great problem solvers. Truly treating the costumers repair problems like their own. Reasonably priced and very helpful. Have had multiple vehicles worked on over the last couple years by them and referred friends.
