The apartments are fantastic, right across the street from Trader Joes. In walking distance to all shops and restaurants.
Thank you, Purcell! You were so quick to help us get another fridge when ours started dying over the heatwave! If I could give 6 stars, I would - you were efficient and friendly! Thank you so much :)
Lived here for about 18 months through both lock downs during the pandemic. Great place to live due to convenience of location and everything nearby. Management and staff were very responsive throughout my time here and made me feel very welcomed. I had some issues with the valet trash people every once in a while but the situation resolved itself. Other than that, I had no real issues with anything else. Rent was very reasonable and affordable. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to move within or to West Seattle.
Love the building, great neighbors and amenities. Close to so many stores all walking distance and rifht on major bus lines.. Staff is friendly and the maintenance staff are awesome, they didnt make me feel bad when I got glass stuck in the sink, thanks P!
Purcell is the man! Any maintenance request from our community, hes able to figure it out and get things back to new. He always has a smile on his face and weather he is coming into your unit to repair something, if you see him in the mail room, or in the lobby, Purcell is always a pleasure to be around. Thank you link for bringing him to the community :)
I have lived in apartments in many states, cities and other Countries. And I find the staff from the management to the Maintance to be top notch. They are extremely caring about any issues that may arise. And the square footage of the apartments are incredible and affordable. The whole team . Especially the maintenance I have dealt 99 percent of the time with maintenance man names Persher. He is top flight And he has fixed everything right away.and he’s very nice and professional. I feel very comfortable living here. There are nice shopping areas and night spots to chill at in the area.
I recently took a tour of this property and Brandon was so incredibly thorough and kind!! He was sure to explain ALL of our options and the great amenities and perks of Link. Brandon’s outstanding professionalism, customer service, and hospitality were much appreciated through the long process of apartment hunting that my Boyfriend and I went through.
Quiet, spacious, clean, secure apartment and the building itself. Ask for Sara to help with the tour and getting you set up, she was extremely helpful. I also love the location, Trader Joes and Whole Food along with many shops and restaurants with in walking distance. Very happy thus far with my decision to move here!
Id like to thank Purcell for helping me this morning and for being friendly as well.
I came to see these apartments with my girlfriend and we received a great tour from Brandon!
The maintenance guy, I think his name is Purcel, he’s very helpful! I’ve needed to borrow tools here and there and he’s always been happy enough to lend me them!
For those taking buses, it is a good location as the bus stop is right next to the apartment. However, the noise is unbearable with constant siren wailing of fire engines trucks from the fire station across the street and homeless taking a shelter at the bus stop.
I had a great experience living here. Everyone has been really nice to me and I have not run into any problems. Ive lived here for over 2 years and besides the fire department being super loud at night I have not had any problems.
My husband and I love it here! We are literally 5 minutes away from everything. Work. Gym. Store. Restaurants! We wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!
The location of this building at the moment is it’s largest downfall. With the bridge out for a number of years you will encounter traffic jams just trying to get to I5. I lived on the east side before moving here and my commute was faster living out there. The noise is terrible and is periodic though the day and night. At first you’ll think some explosion has occurred then you realize it keeps happening over and over again. What this noise is are the trains coupling. I can not express this enough how incredibly loud this is, it wakes me up at all hours of the night. I’ve lived in capital hill before and I’d take the noises there vs this sound. While maintenance is nice the initial move in had some issues such as the cabinets were loose but I was able to fix them. I had a new dishwasher installed and they neglected to install the mount that keeps the dishwasher from falling forward, imagine my surprise opening that the first time.If you live facing the alley way be ready for some bright orange lights to be lighting up your places tonight.I gave it an extra star for three reasons: West Seattle is nice if you don’t think about the bridge, the C line bus is practically out front, it has a gym and a rooftop deck. Though arguably they have been closed more or less since I moved in.Overall, look elsewhere at least until the bridge is fixed. I don’t see any solution for the coupling or lighting issues.
Havent lived here longer than two months but Percel the on site maintenance man is amazing and his professional attitude and quick turn around times will make any bad situation better.
My wife and I have lived at the link for six years and we are thrilled to be here. Professional and courteous staff both maintenance and leasing plus facility manager, Farhiyo as well. Through good and bad times Link staff have always been attentive to our needs and listened to any concerns with prompt resolutions. Louis Reed, the maintenance manager recently helped us with a repair and had the issue fixed promptly with great courtesy and professionalism. The location is great for commutes as well as all things needed to enjoy day to day life (restaurants, bars and pubs) We look forward to calling the Link our home for the future and thank all again who keep everything running smoothly!
I lived at Link Apartment for over three years and half. I absolutely love this community. The building is clean, safe, and the staff are awesome! I had so many memories in this place.Their units have big windows with an amazing view in downtown Seattle and its marvellous skyscrapers +views on mountains .Centrally located in downtown West Seattle next to Trader Joe, Whole Foods, QFC, Safeway, YMCA, LA Fitness, and all kind of shops and restaurants ( all of these are within 1-5 mins walk from the apartment)· Building includes a gym, rooftop deck with an amazing 360 view. In addition, the building has a rooftop BBQ area and a guest area to dine, play pool, and watch TV..Easy access from/to Downtown. C Line is literally next to the building and goes directly to downtown SeattleI highly recommend renting here.
We love the apartment! The natural light is great and the location is awesome - right on the C line and close to so many great businesses. Some of the finishings do feel cheaply made, we’ve had issues with closet doors and the bathroom faucet, but it’s not enough to annoy us. We love it and plan on staying. Also, the maintenance staff is amazing!!!
Once I saw the Link Apartments on a tour I was sold that this would be my next home. The location is great and I really enjoy the unit I live in. Vinny did a great job providing my options within my budget and giving both my family and I tour . Briana was incredibly responsive and helpful during the lease signing process and move in. Any questions or clarities I needed, Briana answered within that day.
Enjoying our experience living at the Link! The staff is extremely friendly and we have come to know them personally so it truly feels like a home. They have always responded quickly to repairs. They offer dog treats AND doggie poop bags for the residents. The property is always immaculate! There is community gardening and a wonderful view upstairs. Very beautiful art work on each floor. We dont regret living here for a second! Thanks Link staff for all you do :-)
*Pros: The rooftop area was nice, the staff is friendly, and the maintenance staff was very quick to respond to all issues. The apartments are small for the money, but theres a surprising amount of storage space packed in. They have a really nice finish - its the little things, like soft-closing hinges. The apartments are good noise-wise - you can hear above when people step heavily, and thats it. We were treated fairly when we moved out - but then, we did leave the place in perfect shape.*Cons: The greatest con was the heat. We chose one of the less expensive places, but they have two tiny little windows by the floor (you know, where the heat isnt). We had to buy fans in the winter, and then hook up a clunky A/C (no window units) in the summer. Get a unit with the large windows, or dont move in.The price was pretty high, but we knew that. I was also slightly annoyed by having to park a few minutes away (but we rarely drive) and the infrequent replacement of wipes/water in the fitness center.Eventually, we found a 2 bedroom nearby for far less than the 1 bedroom. For great parking/pricing, look elsewhere, but if you dont drive a lot and can afford the nicer units, Id say go for it.
Havent moved yet but got approved for the lease. Mike has been really helpful and nice. He responds on time and quick. Will be happy to see him in person.
I applied for a 1 bedroom unit at the LINK apartments that looked good and had a good price. I paid the $300 deposit and $45 application fee to reserve the unit. The next day, I got a phone call saying the unit I applied for was income restricted, and that I was not eligible. There was no mention of this fact when I applied for the unit. While this was disappointing, I told them I understood and requested a refund of the deposit and application fee. This was three weeks ago, and I have yet to receive the refund. Ive called and emailed multiple times, speaking to Lindsay and Mike. They were both apologetic and helpful, and told me the check was in the mail last Friday, but I have not received it.At this point, I cant help but feel this is standard operating procedure for LINK and Greystar. Be forewarned--this is a dishonest company. They will take your money under false pretenses.
My boyfriend and I were interested in renting, but we were treated very disrespectfully. Went in at 2:30 today. Mike from the leasing office said he wasnt available at that time; we made an appointment to come back at 3:45, and gave Mike our phone number, asking him to notify us if 3:45 wouldnt work. We arrived at 3:45. Mike showed up at 4:23--he had been hiding in the back room of the leasing office the whole time while we sat for 40 minutes waiting. We asked him what happened to our 3:45 appointment, and why he didnt call to let us know 3:45 wouldnt work. He said, I was eating lunch, I got distracted. You dont have to be an a**hole about it. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. No idea how the leasing office rents any units while treating potential customers this way. We will look elsewhere.
Leasing office staff very friendly! Lindsey and Mike are Great! 😊
I love living here. Im not sure why others say its loud LOL I cant hear any of my neighbors. It doesnt smell like dog either, but is very dog friendly! They keep the halls and amenity areas insanely clean. I love the 24hr gym. The rooftop is amazing. You can see the whole city from up there, use the grills to show off your chef skills, reserve the lounge to have guests over :) Management is fantastic. Mike, Lindsey, Jose... the whole staff is so friendly and welcoming! Its close to the signature LA Fitness. Trader Joes is literally across the street for your grocery needs. Theres a 24 hr Safeway for late night munchies and QFC. The Alaska Junction nearby is a great food and bar area. This is honestly one of the best areas Ive lived in.Seattle is a pricey area to live in. If that is your complaint about Link Apartments, move to Yakima.
Great location, nice community, and solid management are all found at the Link apartments.
My husband and I lived at Link Apartments for over two years and only moved out when we bought a condo. The location is great, the building is well kept up, and the staff is always prompt and friendly! We really liked that the walls were thick because our dog can get a little barky sometimes. The balcony is a real treat during 4th of July and New Years celebrations! You can see fireworks in Downtown Seattle and all the way to Bellevue.
Its almost been a year and over all the experience has been pleasant for apartment living. The staff is nice and always helpful. Lindsy is upbeat and happy. She can always found with a smile. I had to report multiple issues with my upstairs neighbors. She responded quickly and made every attempt to mediate. Even after she was subjected to my vicious dogs (not at all, theyre just little loud mouths) I was still greeted with that smile.Evalina is inquisitive and excited to ask about your day. She is also easily distracted by topics, which provides entertaining conversations. 😊 She is so uplifting and shes excited by any great news you may offer to share.Katie is so kind and inviting. She is genuinely excited about... Well it seems everything. She got me out of my shell to try Pirates for the first time. It was a fun (hot) experience at the attached yoga studio.Maintenence is super fast and friendly. Jose knows his trade and hes amazing at getting to and exceeding expectations on time lines. Professional and down to earth. A great value to the complex. The complex is well kept, clean and comfortable. The club house is great to hang out in and watch events. The roof top is a great retreat with BBQs and even offers gardens. We watched the fireworks from the roof for new years and it was beautiful. The gym is sufficient and is a cooled/heated room so you can tailor it to your comfort. Stocked with towels and water. They offer pedal bikes and kayak rentals as well.Link always has something going on. Whether promotions from surrounding businesses or hosted events... Theres something to do. Its the little things. Really. Even if you dont take advantage of every detail theyre nice options.Just a short novel while I was thinking about it... Ill conclude my post upon moving out and wrap up my experience as a whole. Stay tuned. 😆
There is no better place to live than Link, where you are steps away from coffee shops, fitness studios and Trader Joes.
Great location
