Derek, the owner, spent a long time with me on the phone explaining the bees habits and how the removal process would work. I decided to spend the money for his services because I love gardening and respect our Arizona creatures. In other words I thought it best to put my money where my beliefs are. Jon, the bee keeper, arrived in a most timely fashion, and I cannot praise him highly enough. My neighbor and I watched the whole fascinating process and Jon was great about answering our questions. Our queen bee and the worker bees left to live happily in Gilbert. Bees are friends of our earth. We need them to pollinate our food plants and support every aspect of the ecosystem. Please don’t kill bees. Use Abello Bees to support the most important insects to humans on earth.

Our renter called to tell us there were many bees around & it wasn’t normal. We contacted Abello Bees after viewing their site and then a referral from a friend. Lara thoroughly explained the process and that the bees would be moved to their apiary. She got us on the schedule quickly. Pictures of the work were provided. We were impressed and asked them to do the repair work required to ensure that “new bees” wouldn’t try to build a new home in the spot. Derek did a great job. Derek is the best bee removal service you can find in the valley. He’s very professional, informative, helpful, and overall just a great guy. We used him twice in two years. We had a swarm of bees start to build a hive in our backyard and he quickly and safely removed them. He’s a no-kill specialist, which is great for the environment. You can tell he really cares about the bees and keeping people protected. If you need Bee help, you need to hire Derek. I won’t ever consider another company, he’s the best in the business.

We had what I thought was a beehive hanging from the tree. However I called out A Bee expert. It turns out we had a swarm Of nasty African killer bees. I called a few places before to get prices before calling one out. Im glad I did, because many were priced out of my league for bee removal. Aaron, the bee expert, came within an hour. The thing I thought was a hive was actually a swarm of killer bees. I have kids,dogs and chickens and that swarm was in my back yard. Aaron was great,we talked thru the process, he was fast and efficient. He got rid of the bees and explained that the queen was dead so any of the remaining stragglers would go away in 24 hours. In my humble opinion his service was fast reasonable and honest. He said if there was still an issue in the next week he would take care of right away and gave us a 90 day warranty. I believe him, as this company has been upfront and honest from start to finish. Aaron was very polite and easy to do business with. I highly recommend this business.

The staff was knowledgeable and talked me through each step of the bee removal and relocation process. I got same day service and the beekeepers kept me posted on their actual arrival time. They were quick at diagnosing the actual hive location. I thought the price was reasonable for the amount of work completed. I would use Abello Bees again in the future.

Just had a beehive removed from the insulation space beneath my roof. The beekeeper (John/Jon?) was friendly, quick, thorough, and very helpful, particularly with our concerns about other animals getting into the airing-out gaps (weve had a lot of small animal problems). We had wire mesh on hand, so he stapled that right up to let straggler bees come and go while keeping out birds and rodents. The beehive surprised me with its size, and the beekeeper said it had a lot of brood in it, so Im glad it can be moved to somewhere better instead of exterminated. Its great to know theres a high-quality non-extermination bee removal service nearby.

I called Abello Bees after seeing that they relocate the bees instead of just kill them. I dont want the bees dead, theyre just doing bee things and thats no crime.Lara on the phone had a lot of good info for me, and Jon was out the very next morning, right on time. He had a bit of a job in front of him, but managed to get the bees out safe and sound a few hours later. Super nice, very professional, completely thorough.I cant recommend Abello Bees enough. I had an incident with a bee infestation in my basement. I called the first 24 hour bee removal company I found on google - they never answered and never returned my call. Called the second 24 hour bee removal and that was Abello Bees. Derek answered right away and asked me questions about the issue - he had a beekeeper out at my house by 7am the next morning and had the issue resolved. He then called and followed up with things to do to prevent this from happening again. I was really pleased with their prompt service and they will be my go-to company to call if I ever have a bee issue again.

This company is AWESOME! They are polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable about bees, more so than any pest control company. Derek answered all of my questions and listened intently to my concerns. Levi was the beekeeper than removed the hives and I cant say enough what a nice young man he is! Derek removed bees from underneath the floor of a shed and relocated them about 100 feet due north. He knows his stuff and I will certainly contact him in the future should I need help with the bees. Derek is absolutely awesome.

The beekeeping part of Derek Abellos service is worthy of 5 stars. I discovered bees on an upper corner of my covered patio in a house I recently purchased and into which I just moved. I wanted the bees removed without exterminating them. Derek responded quickly and had a beekeeper to my house the next morning. The young beekeeper who did the bee and hive removal was polite, thorough, explained what he was doing, showed me the bees and hive he collected and explained that he takes them back to his bee farm. He described that he removed an old hive that was left there after previous homeowners had bees exterminated - leaving the hive only attracts more bees. The price I paid of $360 for this service was well worth the value received and the saving of our much needed bees! I am in gratitude to Derek and this young beekeeper for providing this service.The second part of the service however, the patching up, insulating, and caulking of the opening in the stucco and wood overhang was overpriced. Derek quoted me by phone $841 for this second part of the service. (The first part of the bee and hive removal was a separate fee of $360.)I cannot give the two repairmen Derek contracted out a very high rating - 1 star for them. The two people are trained by Derek specifically to treat and close the area so no more bees will get into that area of my home. I watched them and asked questions only to find that I was really misquoted by them and Derek. They said Derek had told them the steps for such a repair. One of the two men did nothing but stand around.They came without a ladder which I had to provide. (Really? NO ladder when you know the job you are doing requires one??) I had told Derek beforehand that I had all the matching paint so that part of his quote was not necessary. What Derek said would be a two day job took only 3 1/2 hour max. The men did nothing special. They put in the insulation, put the stucco and wood pieces (saved by the beekeeper who cut them out) back in place, caulked, took a long lunch break while the caulk dried, and then painted the small area with the paint I provided.Really? $841 for that??In my opinion, the young beekeeper is more deserving of that kind of price for the work he did and dedication I observed. There should have been a price adjustment and when I asked for one Derek replied that I still owed the $841. My friend and business partner felt very bad because he can do repair work like that and could have done the job himself for the cost of a tube of caulk. Or we could have hired a different handyperson we know for $35/hour and paid only $125. We were led to believe we were buying a specialty service with some special work or application or something to prevent return of bees. This wasnt the case. It was a simple repair job. These men charged $240 per hour based on the time it took for them to complete this second part of the job.Based on my experience, I still highly recommend the bee removal part of Dereks service but NOT the repair part. That part receives 1 star. Definitely hire Derek for safe and sustainable bee removal but find your own repair people, repair it yourself, or at least have a clear itemized list of what the repair people are doing and insist on a fair price.Carol M., Rio Verde, AZ

I had a problem with the bees for some time now and it took me a while to find a company that will relocate them. My friend is actually the one that referred Arbello Bees to me. Once I called them and talked to Mindy I knew they were proffesional and that they will take care of business. Once I hung up with Mindy, she sent me a follow up message to let me know who is coming. Two days prior to the appointment I received another message from Mindy as a reminder. Scott was the guy that took care of bees. He showed up on time, gave me directions what to do while he is working with the bees. When he finished his work, he explained again what needs to be done.Another follow up call from Mindy with the directions what to do and additional info that I might need. There were no hidden charges, it was exactly as I was told the first time. I definitely would recomend Arbello Bees. What an excellent customer service!
