I’ve known Gary at Audio Wizard for years +++ and he has always repaired all of the electronics brought to him that I knew about.He repaired my antique Pioneer Elite receiver in a few weeks. No problem.There are very few wizards like Gary left in this business. Some items may take time to repair but they will be repaired if you can wait. None of the new techies can fix the vintage equipment that Gary repairs.Consider ourselves lucky that Gary is still here for us.

It was a wait. But I knew this ahead of time. I had email a question. Thats when I was informed they were backlogged 3 to 6 months. It was worth the wait. Bang up job and price was reasonable. If youre a patient person I fully recommend audio wizard. If youre not a patient person. Then throw your electronics away and go buy brand new. Im very happy I had my receiver repaired there!

Quality takes time, focus and expertise, all of which makes for the best repair you could ask for. Just dont get in a hurry..

I had a vintage Pioneer receiver that was intermittently cutting in-and-out on one channel and had a case of the crackles on a couple of knobs. I reached out to two high-end audio places asking who they recommended for vintage equipment and they both recommended Audio Wizard.All communication replies over email were quick and communication was good. I brought the receiver in and they had it fixed ahead of time. Everything is as it should be and the price was right, too. Ill definitely bring more equipment here. Recommend.

He has really long wait times because he can fix anything and everyone knows it and brings Gary their equipment. I brought him a record turntable that another place told me was not reparable and five other audio repair places said they did not have the skills to repair it. Gary rebuilt the turntable and works good as new. You might be reading these other reviews saying go somewhere else but he is probably the only guy in AZ that can do what he does. He’s also a nice guy and is very honest.

Took way too long for vintage receiver repair!! OVER 7 MONTHS

How do I get my microwave repaired when they are only opened 9-5. I will take my business somewhere else. With reviews like they have I could order the part and fix it myself and not be insulted.

Excellent service.He is very knowledgeable and eager to help you with your situation of broken equipment. Expect to wait a while to get your equipment back, have patience, its well worth the wait. I wouldnt even try anywhere else but here.

It may not have been as quick as I wouldve liked but everybody is in a hurry when theyre without their tunes. Couldnt be happier with the way things turned out. I would go back I dont care how long it takes, its worth it.

Terrible. Took three months, did not fix anything, claimed he couldnt hear the problem (loud hum in one channel), but still charged $149. For what? Theres still a loud hum in one channel. Youd have to be deaf not to hear it. Maybe he is. He is certainly a crook. Theres a couple decent reviews up here so I imagine he must fix something but I cant see how it would ever be worth the risk. Do yourself a favor and take your gear somewhere else that at least wont charge you if they find the problem is too difficult for them.

Ive used this guy SEVERAL times to fix my old Compaq laptop. Every time he was nice, helpful and it seemed like he always charged me less than he quoted. Great guy to do business with!

Called and tried to get some information and the guy was REALLY RUDE! Customer service is really terrible and the guys just talk you down. I dont understand their business model at all....GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE = CUSTOMER RETENTION = BUSINESS. They have things all backwards. They deferred me to other businesses!!! I WONT be using these guys EVER and I think you shouldnt EITHER!

Had my receiver for 6 months to repair my volume knob. Charged me 200 bucks and guess what. Volume knob still has original problem. Save yourself the grief and go elsewhere.

Unprofessional, rude, and didnt repair my equipment in the time he said.I dropped off my broken subwoofer and he said it would be 3-4 weeks before it would be looked at. When I dropped it off he said it should be less than $175 to repair and that he would call if it was way more than that. This is not how you do business. You dont make repairs before first authorizing the amount. 5 weeks later I called and he said he hadnt gotten to it. He said that he had told me 2-3 MONTHS (he didnt). I picked it up to take it to another place that could get it fixed in a timely manor. He was rude to me when I picked it up and told me to get lost. I would not recommend that ANYONE take any sort of equipment here.

The worker was honest that things would cost more to fix than to replace. However, I felt.he really didnt want to mess with the cheap electronics.
