ATTENTION if you moving in month to month it’s not real here you are paying extra for nothing also when you leave make sure you leave it perfect and shinny ! Because the office will make you sign paper work with out doing exception first the. They will send you to collections with out even calling when I was no even one day late on my rent I even make sure to pay them the 15 days after no living there ON time . They didn’t call me to tell me I was going to be send to collection and they say they send me letters ? At what address if I move out and didn’t gave them my new address . Just make sure if you move you aren’t getting your deposit back .
Thoroughly enjoyed my time living at Villa Montana. Cant beat the price for the area and had relatively no issues while living there. Management was professional and helpful. Overall a great place to call home.
Stayed at this apartment for 1 year. Walls were paper thin. Could hear the man in the next unit yawning. My car was keyed in the parking lot. Also suffered several flat tires which was very suspicious. Grass is over watered.
Great apartment complex! The staff are all very nice and respond very quickly to any maintenance issues. The grounds are kept in great shape with a nice clean pool. Rent price is good for the area and there is shopping centers within walking distance. The only negative I can think of is getting a covered parking spot. Im currently on a waiting list for a covered spot, and once I do get one it costs $25/month. It would be great if they could add more covered parking so everyone apartment has access to one upon move in day. Other than that I would highly recommend Villa Montana!
I lived at Villa Montana for 7 1/2 years. The property is beautifully maintained and the management are amazing. I am actually considering considering moving back to Villa, just because it really was that great! The location is fantastic, the rent is reasonable,(considering that it is in North Scottsdale) and the management and maintenance staff are professional and friendly. Danielle is one of the best apartment managers I have ever had. All around Villa Montana cant be beat. BEST VALUE in all of Scottsdale!
Considering moving back to Arizona and the only place I will consider moving to is Villa Montana. Same amazing staff and the prices can’t be beat. Location is perfect. Villa Montana is amazing!
When I first applied for the apartment, Keshia, the assistant manager walked me through a renovated apartment and told me that it would look like exactly this one. I fell in love with the apartment that she showed me because it had hardwood floors. She also told me that each unit comes with a shaded parking spot. When I signed the lease yesterday and began the to move into the apartment, the unit they assigned me had carpet. I brought this to the manager, and they informed me they dont have hardwood floors but they have linoleum and in order to get a covered space, I would have to pay an additional $25 a month. The management said that corporate would not work with me, but they would refund my deposit. The point is not the deposit, but that I am inconvenienced with having to find a new place on short notice or stay. I would recommend that if you are looking into the apartments, that you get everything in writing. I will not be renewing for next year and this year will not go quick enough.Thank God I moved out this horrible place. However they trying to get me to pay a leasing cancellation fee that they said I signed it electronically. I truly believe that they added these words after I signed the lease. Also they are refusing to rent the unit. I offered them a referral but they don’t want to take my offer. I called the Community legal services and applied services there so they could help me fight this horrible apartment complex/company. I’m also filling a small claim court tomorrow. I hope the judge will teach them a lesson so they don’t take advantage of poor people like myself. Their making their own law and not following Arizona or HUD law. Whoever is reading this please don’t go there. It’s horrible place has horrible staff, and horrible cooperation, you will regret. Also please have all communication with them by email. People please protect yourselves from this horrible apartment that’s call Villa Montana Apartments.
This place was far better than another apartment where I stayed, and the pool was gorgeous
I love living here! We had a horrible experience with our last apartment and since moving here we have been very pleased. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and always helpful. Whenever we have a maintenance issue it gets fixed that same day! The only problem is that we live on the top floor and there are times when we can hear our neighbor below us watching TV at 6:30 in the morning. Other than that everyone is very nice and everything you can imagine from restaurants, a park, grocery stores and shopping are all within walking distance. So happy we finally found an amazing place that we love calling home.
I lived here for 2 years and it was a great experience for my very own first apartment. Manager is nice, friendly residence and neighborhood. Lot of good local stores and restaurants nearby. And I had a beautiful view of the city looking west on the 2nd floor. If your looking for one bedroom, this place was perfect for me.
Seriously the worst apartment I have ever lived in in my life. The staff is beyond rude and condescending. I’m posting anonymously because I don’t want to be removed from my apartment. But it is HORRIBLE and I hope the person reading this believes me. You do not want to live here with the leasing staff and the maintenance staff is just as bad. I have lived at several apartments in Scottsdale and I promise you you don’t want to live here. It looks like a great place to live but it’s all smoke and mirrors. My family owns the largest leasing company in Dallas Texas and when I called my aunt she had never heard of the experiences I have had with this leasing staff. There was a woman so obese she couldn’t even take me on a tour when I first came here. Now they have a 19 year old staff members. Both have NO CLUE what is going on with this complex and if you ask them basic questions about the complex they are unable to answer them. They have zero compassion or understanding of their residents. I’m trying to get my son and I out of here as soon as possible. Never dealt with such inexperienced eneducated people in my life.
The office staff is always helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. They addressed my concerns and made me feel like they wanted me to be a part of the community. The maintenance team is amazing. The maintenance supervisor will answer calls in the middle of the night for just about anything - no complaints. The community is tight knit and feels smaller than it is. I have lived here for 3 years and plan on living here for years to come. Most people live here for more than 3 years - myself included!
Im about to sign my lease for my second year of living here (transferring from a one-bedroom into a two-bedroom apartment), and I’m so happy I am!The office staff is kind and courteous, and maintenance requests are a breeze. The pool is beautiful, clean, and heated. The apartment complex is within walking distance of a Safeway and a Dollar Tree. Theres tons of restaurants around, so youll never go hungry. The one (and only) negative aspect Ive experienced here:The resident population seems to trend towards the elderly, and unfortunately, some of them have nothing better to do than file noise complaints due to the thin walls and floors. A few (of many) examples that happened to me: I accidentally dropped something on the floor at night and received a noise complaint. I was chopping vegetables in the kitchen and received a noise complaint. And last, but not least: I quietly YAWNED at 2 in the morning, and my next-door neighbor pounded on the wall.I’m a very quiet, mid-20s girl, so receiving so many noise complaints for simply living my life as a normal human being was mildly insulting. I could have only been quieter if I were a corpse. The one piece of advice I can offer about moving in here is this: try snagging a first-floor corner apartment so you won’t have to deal with crotchety neighbors that have supersonic hearing.
The apartment complex is great, the maintenance guys are nice, I love calling this place home and I am very sad to be leaving up to Idaho because I have lived here for 6-7 years now, the staff are great, and I will miss this place and the people that work here when I leave. Overall the Complex is five stars!!! ✯✯✯✯✯~Markus A. Russell
Very organized and friendly staff; Cheryl, Logan, and Nick are super helpful! The inside of the complex is really cute.
If you are black, do not go here. The lady who helped us, Barb, has poor customer service skills. Even though our situation was a section 8 case, in which they do take. Barb made us to believe that if you have section 8 you can not pay the difference in price. The packet that we had said otherwise. When she took us to view the apartment, not only was the two bedroom very very small, when we asked her questions about the apartment, she was very short. Also, after we walked around for literally a few minutes, we came back into the living room and she asked us are you done yet? WOW! After that she continued walking and telling us more about the property but was standing at least 10 feet a head of us. My mother is elderly, and I doubt she can hear someone speaking forward, behind them, because I surely cant. It would have been a great place, but the lies and the looks that Barb gave, I will never dock their door nor recommend anyone to ever go there. #JustUgly
I had the pleasure of touring at Villa Montana and Id have to say that is was a complete joy. All of the staff were awesome. Kisha, Barb and Dani.I felt welcomed from the moment I entered, I was treated like family.I read another one in particular I had to disagree with. The first point of contact was a woman of color, the staff is diverse and I felt no bias in any way.In closing I would like to say that I look forward to becoming a part of the Villa Montana Family.
Ive lived here for three years and my boys and I love it!!!!! Danny and barb in the front office are wonderful and have excellent customer skills! The apartments are in a great location, close to shopping centers, gym and ect.. Wonderful place to stay consider if you have children, park is right across way.
Ive lived at Villa Montana for nearly 5 years. I started in a 1-bedroom and even stayed at the complex moving into a 2-bedroom after a few years. The office staff is so friendly, maintenance needs are addressed efficiently, and I feel safe living there being a single woman. I would definitely recommend people to come live here - it is a big complex (but not too big) with a smaller community feel.
Danielle and Keshia are the best! I have managed an apartment complex in the past and it is very apparent that they know what they are doing. The people living here are diverse and respectful. It is a safe area with many stores(Safeway/Albertsons etc.) within walking distance. The public schools are the top of the line. The point is, we love it here!
I called the other day about 2 bed 2 bath apartments and the lady on the phone she did say she had some availability and I go In there today and the “leasing agent” just said “no we don’t have anything” without looking at her computer and proceeds to say “good luck on your search”. And looked at me till I left the office. How rude and unprofessional. So much for the 25 min drive I did for nothing.
I HAVE BEEN A VERY HAPPY CAMPER AT THE VILLA FOR GOING ON 14 YEARS.THE STAFF ARE THE VERY BEST AND GO OUT OF THE WAY FOR ME.MAITANCE IS ALSO AWSOME AND ARE NOW A PERFECT FIT.DANNY IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY ALL DAY LONG AND GREAT MANAGER
Took application money and still never heard back from them 3 months later
