Centerra Apartments have been a joy to live at the past year. I moved from across the country and the Management staff were so helpful! My little casita type apartment is so warm and cozy. Any time I have had maintenance requests (bug spray, paint on shower peeling from me using the incorrect cleaner) Maintenance has been so quick, courteous, and prompt. Highly recommend!
I absolutely love living at these apartments!! I have been here almost a year now and everyone has been so great!! When ever I put in a work order maintenance is quick to respond!! They always go above and beyond to get the job done!! The ladies in the office are amazing and so helpful!! They notify me when I have packages in the office or check the lockers if it is misplaced. They also have been quick to respond to any questions I have about anything. The property itself has changed so much since I moved in and I mean in a great way with all the upgrades they have made to make the property enjoyable for everyone!! All the staff is so friendly even with my kids!! I strongly recommend moving here I couldn’t be happier
The staff in the leasing office, Jessica and Bernadette are fantastic!Always so helpful courteous and always there to assist. The maintenance staff Miquel and Waldo are always pleasant and very helpful and efficient too!
I lived there for 2 years and the staff was always professional, friendly understanding. Alot of upgraded to the property and landscaping while I was there. I enjoyed living there very much.
I have lived at Centerra Apartments for almost 3 years - our family has loved it. The renovation here has been amazing, from the interiors to the landscaping to the gym, the changes have been fantastic. The current management team, led by Jessica and Bernadette with Sterling have exceeded expectations. They are communicative, friendly and empathetic. They get things done in a timely manner - and Its much appreciated. The maintenance staff (Miguel and Crew) is professional, knowledgeable and have a great attention for detail. There are lots of options in the area, but this team separates themselves from the pack.
Ive lived here almost 3 years, have been through 4 different management staff, and hands down, Jessica, Bernadette, along with the maintenance staff are the most professional thus far.No matter where you look online; reviews at hundreds of communities will always have those fake name keyboard warriors that complain, yet never know how to properly communicate to their landlords. No community is 100% perfect. But this team has done more to make Centerra look better inside and out, along with upgraded amenities these past 12 months. The pricing for these 1 & 2 bedrooms are excellent for this zip code. Matter of fact, Im signing on for a 3rd year, and moving poolside, because unlike many other communities Ive lived, its actually quiet. Anytime Ive had an issue, I talk, face to face with the management team, and every single time, its rectified.Like millions of others in this country, I too lost my job due to Covid-19. Jessica and Bernadette had empathy and not only worked with me, but many of my neighbors who were in the same unfortunate predicament. Now, Im back to working, (from home this time) and couldnt be more excited to do my radio show steps from the pool, in between songs Ill take a dip😁, and meet a whole new set of neighbors!Thank you, Jessica & staff. My lil Yorkie and I couldnt be more happier to call Centerra our home for year 3! 💃🐾🏜️
With the recent remodeling and updating of the landscaping Centerra Apts is a great place to live I really appreciate all the help the manager Jessica, Also Miquel and his maintenance team are awesome. I’ve lived here for four years I really appreciate the new positivity and professionalism from Jessica’s team in the office. Enjoy knowing all my neighbors great place to live
I have a love hate but mostly hate.I hope you like thin walls, you can hear any people above you just WALKING. So imagine if they do anything else. Maintenance DOESNT like doing maintenance. Your vents will have poor air flow and will have rusted/painted over metal as well. They don’t replace appliances in between residents, so you’ll have a nasty washer and dryer to which they will give you the middle finger when you asked to be replaced. I wouldn’t move here the model you see it drastically different from what you get.
I moved here from Prescott and from the get-go had a great feeling about this place ... and my gut was right! Bernadette and Jessica were so helpful in helping me navigate a very stressful move here and making sure everything was perfect for my arrival. If there are any issues, Miguel is there within the day to fix it and with a smile on his face. They are constantly looking for ways to improve and make people feel valued. This is truly a home and I would recommend Centerra to anyone!
I love living here! Since moving in we’ve had various upgrades such as a new air conditioning system, new paint, new bathroom appliances, and it’s been pretty great. My only complaint is that the walls and ceiling are very thin so you hear everything from upstairs and next door. But management is very responsive and quick to address any needs, and I’m glad I made the choice to stay here.
I just wrapped up some gifts for my mom and dad at the wrapping station in the office. Oh. My. Gosh! They gave me a candy cane and hot cocoa and the girls were so nice and festive! It was a really good experience. I like how they are trying to do something for us while still social distancing. Happy holidays all!
Lived here for two years. Were on our third complex management company. The latest company is doing their best to remodel and make improvements but they are overwhelmed. We were going to get into the pool today to cool off but pool was completely green. I used to work as an Aquatic Facility Operator and I know a pool has to be way below acceptable chlorine levels to get green algae. Filthy pools. We are on Phoenix in late June, completeley unacceptable.
Management is polite, but don’t get anything important done. They would rather throw events for tenants, instead of dealing with ongoing issues and complaints. The remodeled apartments are okay, but we have had to do most of the little repairs ourself. Internet is a big problem since so many people are home now and needing to use internet, and they haven’t done anything for that either. People are leaving dog feces on peoples porches and all they did was send out an email saying to not do that. The dog park is in shambles. Always flooded, feces everywhere. And people from different complexes bring their dogs to use the park here too. Not to mention we have had police here multiple times due to the amount of people that just wander in from the streets because the complex isn’t gated.
Centerra is a wonderful place to live. Quiet surroundings, 2 amazing swimming pools with a hot tub, brand new appliances, covered parking, great neighborhood. Everything you need around you. And Jessica, the manager, is so helpful!
Great layouts and awesome location. Staff is helpful and nice. Apartment was very clean and newly remodeled. Good things.
Moved here about 10 months ago and it has been a great experience. Friendly neighbors and convenient location with restaurants and grocery store nearby. I Had to request service twice and the maintenance team responded quickly. Office team is always helpful.
Im sad to be leaving from here, have lived 2 years at this apartment complex we enjoyed our stay here staff was always helpful the area was very well kept the landscaping outside was always well maintained and cleaned. we will miss living here sadly we are moving out of state other wise we would of continued to live here keep up the great work :)
Where should I start, if your looking for a clean, inexpensive, remodeled, quite setting with a Professional staff...DONT RENT HERE! Ive been a resident for over 4 years and watched this place go downhill. New owners Stellar/Centerra continue to ignore the quality of life that is going on here. Being a disabled veteran I have never been more disrespected by anyone than the current manager Christina Davis. To be dismissed so callously by someone who obviously lacks the experience to perform basic duties is a pure shame on Stellarresidential. Im not sorry I chose to fight for our country and you when I didnt even know you, yet cant even get a response from you? Thank God we have choices and I will be moving on.
I have had a nice experience living at Centerra. Jessica and Bernadette (the managers) are amazing and handle issues quickly.
Moved my sister and her family out of here this past weekend. What a complete nightmare. The 4 yrs she lived here she never had trouble. Since this new company Stellar residential took over, they have extremely incompetent and socially challenged staff. My sisters water in her building was shut off a total of 5 times for days in the past 5 months. Dont move here!!
I absolutely love living here! The office staff has been nothing, but a great. They are helpful, straight to the point, and is personable. If you arent living at Centerra, you are missing out! :)
Horrible experience. Glad I moved. Just putting the truth out. Hope to help someone. People pay rent and have to follow the leasing agreement, but no accountability to the management staff. Hard to reach staff by phone and dont return calls. Light in kitchen broke. Took 5 days to fix. Had to call multiple times. I was told to buy a lamp and they were too busy to fix. Posted personal info on a piece of paper and left on my door. After giving my notice to leave, got worse. Given 3 different move out costs. If this your job of leasing apartments, basic math should be a priority. Had to finally contact corporate office to receive my final refund of my deposits. They even have a person to take complaints. She was not available and you are unable to leave a message. The mail box was full. BEWARE
Management NEVER EVER EVER EVER returns phone calls. I have to ask them MULTIPLE times to take care of something simple. Not to mention there’s cockroaches here and I’ve contacted management twice about them and nothing has been done. Move somewhere else!!! The price is way to high here to have to deal with all this!!! Herd a rumor this is section 8 housing as well.
My husband and I moved here six months ago, we had several issues when we first moved in. The hot water heater in the apartment was dated 1994, so needless to say, we had no hot water. The apartment was supposed to be newly renovated, however, it was not clean. I had to clean both bathrooms. The front door was ill-fitting and did not have a sweep or peephole. The filter for the heater/air conditioner was filthy, for all we know, that may have dated back to 1994 as well. The dumpster/trash area is disgusting, old dirty furniture sitting there for days. There was also a giant roach in our place the other night. It is now June and 100 plus degrees outside, so, we go down to the use the pool and find that it is closed until further notice. It is quite challenging to like this place. Here is a photograph of the bloody mattress that sat by our dumpster for a month. It was only removed when the lenders were coming to evaluate the property. I am certain if I had complained to management about this issue, I would received a rude and unprofessional response as I have come to expect from Terra the new property manager.
Absolutely love living here! Tara, the office manager, is extremely helpful and always polite. I always see the pool being maintain, which is a plus.
Its ghetto and ugly! The maintenance staff is standoffish. They will give you an sour attitude for calling them because most of it cannot be repaired. The plumbing & fixtures are so old it was probably built in the 1950s. I would suggest a complete demolition and start all over again and then you can ask for $1,000 rent. Right now they couldnt pay me enough to live in it. If they were to pay me $5,000 a month I still wouldnt do it! If they paid me 10,000 a month Id fake like Im living there but I rent somewhere else.
I toured a couple of the complexes within a few minutes of Centerra with my brother who is moving to town. The Centerra Apartments were not necessarily as nice and updated as some of the others but we came back because the management staff seemed far superior. We appreciated the good customer service so much.
My son is in the area going to school and couldnt feel more comfortable with not only the apartment and area but with the other tenants .Everyone is super nice, especially the management and how they have continued to look in on my son from time to time. The recent renovation has been a added bonus.....beautiful!!!!!
I loved living here when it was owned by Rincon. The staff was awesome and I never had any issues. A few months ago it was purchased by Stellar residential and this management company is horrible. It has been a nightmare. The manager Christina is horrible, she is rude, unprofessional, ignores call, emails and mesaages. She has made it hell to live here. The other gentleman in the office is just as bad. the first few weeks he was here I had to bring concerns to Ben who was the acting manager and apparently he was from cooperate, advising him that his employee spent more time on snapchat (we saw his snaps on snapchat) than returning phone calls. Obviously nothing was done and it was just made worse when Christina arrived. From extremely inflated water bills, nothing but excuses from management, horrible customer service especially when they first obtained the property, constant water shut offs for months due to pipes bursting in parking lot, issues with rent amounts every month and those are just a few of the main issues. There are a lot of unhappy residents at this property and nothing is being done about it. At this rate I would not recommend any of their properties, especially Centerra. (1 star rating)******There has been a lot of changes in the past few months. There is new management staff and new maintenance. They have started painting the exterior and fixed a lot if issues that had not been addresses before, hot in and pools were fixed, pipe leaks were fixed. It has always been a great area surrounded by lots of places to eat, drink and shop within walking distance. It is a quiet are and it has all new appliances. I am a lot happier here and they have made it a lot more comfortable to live here thanks to Jessica and the new staff for making it feel like home again. (Rating changed)****
This apartment complex does landscaping 3 times a week, sometimes at 5:45 in the morning, which is illegal. I live across the street, and my complex only landscapes once a week, and were larger. I try to put up with the noise, but it gets really old. Especially since the worker (I usually see just one person) seems to lack technique, so the noise is back and forth for hours. The other day I saw him blowing off bushes. This cant be necessary three times a week. This place has a dumpy appearance, and reading the other reviews, I cant imagine living here. Other reviews mention roaches. I face an apartment that has had an enormous pile of boxes on their balcony for two years. Cardboard boxes attract roaches. I tried emailing my noise complaint directly, but their website doesnt work, and the phone number doesnt go through. If the neighbors and tenants are saying bad things, it must be awful.
Great apartments and even better management team. Hands down the best apartments to live at in the area. The newly renovated apartments are great, prices are spot on, I dont feel like Im being ripped off. Management team is very responsive at addressing any issues.
Recently we had an ownership change. I have been a resident here for 3 months. I love the tall trees, shading the walkways and apartment homes from the heat of the sun, and the grassy courtyards through out the complex. Theres even a fenced in area called The Bone Yard for playtime with your fur babies. I originally questioned myself if I had made the right decision in moving here. Now that GreyStar has taken over I am super excited for the upcoming changes. They are preparing for a complete overhaul of the complex. No more avocado green buildings, and each unit will be renovated w new upgraded appliances, countertops, two-tone colored walls, and flooring. If you have previously viewed, or stopped by, before August, I highly recommend a re-visit to the complex to meet the new managers, Tammy and Trisha. These women are extremely helpful, professional, and personable in fitting the needs of current residents, as well as their passion in finding your new home for prospective tenants. I dont typically write reviews, but I was pulled to write one for Centerra. I am now pleased and satisfied to call this my home. Thank you, Tammy and Trisha, for the prompt and dedicated service you have given me, as well as other tenants, here at Centerra.
OkI have lived here for a long time. This place was not up to par when I moved here a few years back. When I initially moved in the staff was great and very personable but through out the years I feel more threatened than anything by the staff. All the staff is so rude you would think after being here for so long you would get some sort of respect. NOT THE CASE here.ay place to live
I moved into the apartments when they were under the old management and it was a nightmare from the moment i moved in with my fiance and it put a strain on our relationship. I am so thankful that Centerra came and took over. It was like a black cloud was lifted. First Trish found things that were wrong in our contract, we were over charged for pet deposits. Than I was added to the lease when originally i was told i could not be added. Then we met Tami and she has just been fantastic to work with she is always so pleasant and extremely helpful . We also just met Theresa and she is also very It is a very great team running Centerra and the improvements so far are making it a great place to come home to..
As kind as the maintenance team is, the apartment keeps having issues. From a leaky roof to the water not getting hot to appliances breaking frequently (fridge, garbage disposal, washing machine, dishwasher). Ive lived here for a few months and I gotta say Im not impressed with Stellar, the new company running the joint.
Please Read! its not long...Just a really a poorly managed place. My wife and I really wanted to like it here; after a few issues upon moving in, we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt- now here 6 months and just keeps going downhill. Also- it seems they will let pretty much anyone move in here (manager said there is no section 8 but my experience begs to differ?)We thought this area would warrant something of better class- might as well be downtown. Our fair assessment- not worth the price here- not at all.UPDATE7/4/19- Home on the 4th of July!! My wife and I had police called on us by the incompetent manager here- Yes, REALLY! She said the pool was closed because they found bottles in the trash the night before. A lovely holiday. Mind you- there was no sign of this on the gate which we entered. Also, no sign of glass, trash or anything that would deem the area unsafe- She thought she would punish everyone for something she obviously cannot manage. Lets here that again!!- She thought she would punish All residents for something she obviously cannot manage. And- It is not the first time for this. Seriously- they left one pool on the property and not the other- just utterly illogical. In another complaining review on google, management said the pool was closed to fix a faulty handrail- That was not at all true- just a cover. We pay a lot of money here for nothing but BullSh. We are model residents- Clean, Quiet, pay in full and on time and most importantly- adults. Why would she want to F with us?We stand by our earlier comments of section 8 but wish to add- its also un-managed like it.Here is some advice to the manager- Put up a camera to monitor at night and evict the ones causing the issue- simple, cheap and effective. According to some of the neighbors who live in apartments facing the pool- They would greatly thank you for it!Here is some advice to the management company- Kick in a few more bucks and hire a professional manager- it will most likely save your reputation. We would have never expected this based upon its geographical location, however, we confidently expect a BS response to this post.
Best management I’ve ever had! They genuinely care about their tenants and are there when you need them. Everyone a lways have a smile on their face as soon as you walk in the door and greet you in the nicest way possible.Very clean community. There are dog waste stations around the complex and that for me as a dog owner is a plus, and to make it even better, they have a dog play area where I can let my little guy can run wild.Definitly a place I can call home. I recommend this community to anyone, and think everyone should at least stop by and say hi because they are that nice!
We moved here in August and have been dealing with cockroaches since day 1. Weve reported the issue to management and they have come sprayed our apartment a few times already, but the problem persists. The walls are thin so you will be able to hear almost everything. Also, this is a pet friendly complex and unfortunately neither the tenants nor management keeps the property clean of pet fecal matter. The rent here is too expensive to be dealing with these fixable problems.
Prices way too high... moved in with someone who was already evicted from his apartment... I was threaten by the maintenance guys that if i showed up on property again they would call the police on me.
Super friendly apartment complex, the people who work here really care about their tenants, spacious apartments, one or the best places to live left in the area.
New Administration, good and clean apartment, Looks like new in recent days..
I love casa Santa fe and glad to call this my. Home
Truly I usually hate moving cause everyone knows how stressful it can be and you always come across those small problems no matter what! One thing I might add is that through this moving process it wasnt the case at all! The management was incredible and completely understanding, the gm nick is nothing but one hundred percent genuine and made my transition into the complex an actual good moving experience. Anything I have need or asked for they have been on top of it and get it done asap. Let alone I am loving the new rennovations they have done with the place!Thank you centerra for making the stressful moving experience not so stressful and actually a gpod memorable one!
10 weeks into this and it has been one of my worst experiences. After arrival doing a walk through it was a disaster the counter tops were all scratched up and several areas bad visible from the dinning area. the refrigerator bottom shelf was all cracked the shower areas were even worse. They scheduled to come in and do repairs which if anyone has a emergency maintenance call they are priority. The head maintenance guy didnt let us know he wasnt coming so 3 days waited . Then a professional company came in to paint and missed 2 whole areas by the oven . No one ever followed up to make sure this was done. Sprinkers shooting water extremely bad for several days water waste and we pay for water here. NOT to the water company we all have to split it. Bone yard the poop bucket hasnt been changed for sure since the 9th its the 20th smells really BAD. Patio area sits by trees people like to have there dogs pee and poop on no one cleans it so cant sit on patio it STINKS the pool area all the chairs are getting dry rotted and all stained even the upper club house area. Jacuzzi hasnt worked since arrival the bubblier doesnt work that is the main purpose for a Jacuzzi . Send emails and its days for a response. The master bedroom doesnt get cool its the way it was set up the maintenance man said. All vents are closed except bedroom and living room and at a very bottom unit with 2 apartments above the bills are running $200 a month at 80 degrees doesnt seem right! The list really goes on needless to say and of course the parking is 1st come first serve so if you are not in by 7 and parked you dont get a covered spot. You dont want to leave once you have a covered spot for the rest of the evening. This truly has been not a good experience having to sign a year lease this is why. This list truly could go on for days really I havent even touched the surface of problems. Needless to say the price for Scottsdale this is the cheapest and definitely shows it. Pay the extra dollars to go somewhere else because you pay the extra between storage, electric, water, and aggravation of resort amenities .
Its been just 3 days since I started living here. Its the worst experience. There is a high voltage power line and office is not telling anyone on this. I spoke to one lady Page in the office and she is very loud, not ready to talk at all. Worst experience. I am planning to leave this place as soon as possible.
Worst place I have every lived...We are getting ready to move out at the end of our lease (THANK GOD!) For starters, Maintenance is nearly impossible to get if you speak with Cathy. When we first moved in, we wanted to run our dishes through a quick cycle in the dishwasher before putting them away. The dishwasher damn near flooded the kitchen in 10 minutes. It took them 3 days before anyone was able to come look at it. They replaced it with an even cheaper dishwasher that you can only load half full to get your dishes even close to clean. Then after about a month of living here, we noticed the AC was leaking. It wasnt much at first, but we called down anyway. Cathy told us it was just condensation and was normal for that time of year. She advised that we not turn the AC off when we leave (even though we werent) that would help...ok. A month goes by and it is progressively getting worse, she again said its normal. Then winter weather started and we used our fireplace more than anything for warmth. Then came about feb when we started to use the AC again. Same problem. I waited a month before calling again, this time I told her someone needed to come look at it. I told her a day I would be home from work to let the workers in and look. She said ok. Well she sent them on the wrong day and said I told her the wrong day and she didnt know when they would be able to reschedule it.So we inevitably gave up and have been soaking a towel every two days with the amount it leaks.its constant and annoying. The stove. I only have one small burner that actually works well. the large burner will work when it wants to, but sometimes goes out in the middle of cooking or boiling anything, it is beyond annoying Quality. EVERYTHING IS CHEAP! The dishwasher cant be fully loaded or your dishes wont be clean, and it is ridiculously loud. The AC is so loud it sometimes wakes me up at night when i kicks on. The paint they use is a freaking joke...If you put anything on any pained surfaces, it peels when you remove it, no matter how light the contact it or how long its been there. Also if you like to decorate, avoid this place. THE WALLS ARE PAPER THIN. The towel bar in the 2nd bath literally fell out of the wall when I put three towels on it (for decoration, they were not thick or heavy). So now there is a hole We have to patch, or we will be charged for it. I hung one curtain rod and immediately regretted it. much like the bathroom, it ripped out of the wall after a week. I didnt bother trying to put up the others. YOU HEAR EVERYTHING. the neighbors use the bathroom or shower? you hear it. They turn on the AC? you hear the unit run the whole time. The go out the back sliding door? you hear it. They watch a movie? you know it. You will also notice ( and this may just be ours since we are on the second floor) the floor isnt level. there are many uneven areas. Most noted is in the kitchen, and the guest bath. EVEN THOUGH THEY HIRE CLEANERS, CLEAN EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU SETTLE IN. We found paper covering most light fixtures, gritty sand like stuff one the closet shelves, bathtubs had residue on them (im assuming from whatever was used to clean them), and WHEN WE WENT TO DO LAUNDRY FOR THE FIRST TIME MY BOYFRIEND FOUND A THONG AND SOCKS FROM THE PREVIOUS TENANT ON THE FLOOR! Inconvenient set up.Throughout the entire apartment, there is only one place you can set up your router and such for internet. Also, the placement for cable in the living room is in the dumbest possible place. We had to run the cable along the carpet and up the wall to set it up. i trip over the cable constantly. There is also only one place to have it in the bedroom. PARKING SUCKS! They tell you its assigned but its not really. you get a pittle permit sticker to put in your window, but they dont have anyone who actually checks to make sure everyone in a covered space has a permit. The workers park their little golf cart in resident covered parking, and they dont share a space, they take up two seperate spaces. And the office staff parks in the covered parking. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
Horrible apartment complex!! worst customer service ever!
Its an ugly green color
Worst staff Ive ever dealt with in a complex, cheap and/or broken appliances, neighbors wouldnt quiet down until the early morning, mail boxes are tiny, and everything inside is outdated and a huge eyesore.
Thin walls
The worst experience.
Nice Apartments
