Truly in love with Liv North Scottsdale! The leasing team is so wonderful to work with; Tamara and Tayler have helped my fiancé and I every step of the way. Their community events are so much fun! They have a wide range of social events and fitness classes to participate in.
I havent lived here but visited a friend recently. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I came to visit. A helpful tip: the Google Maps pin may make one think the main building is on N. Dial Blvd, when in fact the leasing office is actually on the southwest side of the complex (closer to the Fidelity investments building and to the Chargepoint stations). Also, while the address says Scottsdale Rd, its actually just a little east of that busy main road on a side street.
Liv North Scottsdale used to be great, before new head management took over. In the 3 or so years I lived there, it went very downhill. Its the cheapest within a lucrative area, which is appealing - but youll get exactly that, cheap. I lived in two apartments within the complex and battled frat style parties during the day and night which made my situation unlivable. After asking an apartment to turn down their music during a day party with good-intentions to find a workable solution for everything -- the situation escalated to where I was scared for my, and my families, well being. The next week, they knocked on our door unprovoked and screamed at us in the hallway disrupting the other neighbors and had to call security twice due to that and a threatening note on my door that it was in my best interest for them to not see me again, and that they would circumvent the liv management rules by saying thats not what they prefer to do.After presenting this note to the Liv security, the Liv security told me that I should call the cops and that they would personally fear for their safety. Read that again - the LIV SECURITY - said they would fear for their safety of my living situation. After a lengthy discussion with Liv management about harassment, which it states in the lease is not allowed (in all capital letters) the liv management decided that they would provide the tenants with a noise complaint, and that harassment is outside the scope of Liv management. Which is interesting, because Liv management signed the lease agreement that harassment is not allowed. We received a field report for harassment from Scottsdale PD, still Liv management did nothing. Which calls into question, if its not Liv managements responsibility to uphold harassment, the security team would be scared for their safety, and the Scottsdale PD takes a harassment report and considers it a credible threat worthy of documentation -- who runs Liv North Scottsdale? This was, in all honesty, unfair to those tenants because the issue was not noise but that they verbally and in-writing were threatening other tenants. When asked for clarification, Liv management was unable to provide any justification. Weve never had any ill-intentioned neighbors in the years of renting that weve had at while at Liv, with no control of the situation or any noise complaints.Twice I saw guests of residents physically break into the buildings. Dogs were off leashes jumping on people just walking by. Groups of guys leaving trash all around the building, in the bushes, and insulting other tenants as they walked by. Drunk groups of guys casually smoking weed with their door open. Carpets that are disintegrating. Stained floors. Tenants grilling with propane tanks on their balcony - a safety hazard. Weve had friends come and go from Liv with the same story - go to the Catherine, or Princess, your livelihood is not worth the couple hundred youll save. Youre worth more than they can provide. My story highlights the inept attitude of the building management and the unwillingness to improve. I will say that the maintenance team and the front office team are top notch and should be applauded.
Its tough to write a review when the office shows no interest in showing or offering information about the apartments. I called to find out about the availability and felt as if I was bothering the person.
Ally is the best! She made our experience on making a decision where to live very easy, being in sales we always say people buy from people they like. And Ally made this very true. Thank you so much for making us your first priority.
Love my apartment, location, amenities.friendly staff.Quck to respond to maintenance issues.lived here for three years. Most reasonable compare to other apartments in area..Wish the quiet time after ten was enforced. And security would be available at night on weekends and holidays.Hope pool and spa will be better maintained daily after it has been renovated.New management is good about informing residence about what’s going on in our community. There is no perfect place but I will continue to be happy and live here
If you are the type of person who likes to know when the tenants above your unit walk, run, open and close the closet, and even flush the toilet, I strongly recommend here! I am giving 2 stars because maintenance and staff are nice and I dont think they can do anything about the noise (I have complained three times since moving in last month) since it is due to poor construction of the buildings itself.
Liv North Scottsdale- I love it! We have been here now almost a year and I have never encounter a problem when it comes to a request. The staff from maintenance technicians to administrators always friendly and accommodating. Definitely I call liv “ my home”Ghosoun
Overall my experience living at Liv North Scottsdale was an extremely positive and luxurious one. The one thing that really stood out to me that ultimately made me pick this apartment over others was how clean my apartment was when it was shown to me. It really made all the difference in the first impression. I think that is one of the most important parts. The stainless steel appliances (gas stove stop ❤️) worked well and were appealing. Washer and dryer were top of the line. But I did miss an entry closet (washer and dryer took the whole close up). The rooftop area, pool, barbecue, and game room were all very nice and public areas were well maintained for the most part. Underground parking in Arizona, loved that!!! The dog park could’ve been cleaned more often and more lighting is definitely needed in the dog park. The staff are friendly for the most part. Gym is decent. Walking distance to two amazing shopping malls. Rent is expensive but if my job brought me back to Scottsdale I would move back here in a heartbeat.
LIV North Scottsdale has been my home for nearly 5 years. This was supposed to be the first stop before moving on to a permanent home. But I fell in love with my apartment, the elegant hotel-like atmosphere, the roof-top lounge and the impeccable service. Not to mention that iust outside your door are a myriad of shops and restaurants at the Scottsdale Quarter and Kierland. This is HOME and I decided I couldnt do better.
I Love the location of this complex! Close to work and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and entertainment. Pretty decor, great pool and wonderful rooftop area. I’ve lived here for nearly 5 years primarily because of the location. However, the staff turnover is constant which leaves tenant requests unresolved in my experience. The apartments are small for the price but every other complex in the area compares the same. The buildings were not well thought out with respect to insulation and/or noise barriers Between floors. Unless you live on the top floor, you hear your neighbors every move like they are living in your own space. Building A is not secure/gated which is a definite Con for those residing in that building.
Very nice place to stay!!! Clean and gorgeous!!! Everything was perfect and I recommend 100%
OH BOY! THIS PLACE IS THE AWESOME! ITS SO FANCY AND THE PEOPLE ARE SO NICE, YALL ARE JUST THE BEST. I LOVE USING THE AMENITY AREAS AND HAVING ALL MY FRIENDS OVER! THEY ARE ALWAYS SO IMPRESSED. MY APARTMENT IS SO FANCY AND ALL THE LADIES LOVE IT. I LOVE LIV YALL.
I have lived at LA V North Scottsdale for 18 months. I read a lot of negative reviews and I just don’t understand. I have never had a problem with any of the staff or maintenance. Whenever I requested things to be fixed it was done within 24 hours. In most cases it’s done in two hours. I find the staff very professional and friendly. There was a time several months ago When the office was understaffed the majority of the day. That is no longer the case. I would recommend living here to anyone.
Would not recommend this place. The host on Airbnb “Jia-Li” is rude and extremely unprofessional. The place is a dump and smells like a dump. They have air fresheners in every room to hide smells. The hallways are missing trim. The trash is left in the hallways. Beds are seriously hard like mentioned in another review. Did I mention the host is rude?Maintenance doesn’t care. Gave 2 stars because the location.Find somewhere else to say. Too bad I didn’t look at the reviews on google.. you live and learn. No kidding..
Lets put it this way, I complained about noise and was pretty much told to eff off. I would purposely mark my door for intruders and everyday when I got home my marker was moved. I live on the 3rd floor and their is a strong scent of marijuana and always loud rap music. More people have moved out, due to the inflation of rent. You sign a contract for a specified amount, then you get your rent emailed to you and its $700 more! Yes, $700.00 more! When asking for a break down, youre told they dont do that. If you want an apartment who has lost a majority of their people due to lack of professionalism, than please by all means move in here. The people I have talked to while moving, have expressed they have moved due to the lack of respect and professionalism you get from your management. You are way over charged, when you can get the same amenities down the road for way less! I dont recommend to anyone! Unless you like to just flush money down the toilet.
I wish I could say I enjoyed my experience living there, but unfortunately it was awful! Glad to be out of there. First of all, my concerns and issues were pretty much ignored or just never addressed. Expectations certainly were not met.-N
Beware! You might be sacrificing your healthy by choosing to live here!Advise to existing tenants - this property management use very cheap air filter ($2 / piece) that is only good for 30 days, so change it as often as you can or use your own.Advise to newly moved in tenants - DO NOT assume your air filter is a fresh one upon moving in like I did.Advise to possible tenants - look elsewhere. really.. this property management only cares about their bottom line and not responsive when confronted with problems caused by their oversight. Here is my situation - I lived here for about three months and been having all sort of respiratory healthy issues, which I have no prior records for. And it comes time to change the air filter I found out why... I pulled out an air filter completely caked with dust mite AND dry wall dust. When I confronted the property management about this, below are the responses I got over the past weeks without any actions taken from them yet.Assistant PM & Maintenance Manager - confirms that this is typical build up for about 4-6 months, so it was most likely changed right when the last people moved out. That would also account for the drywall dust/paint dust buildup. Then they offered their apologies and a stack of $2 filters for me to change as often as I like.VP of Multifamily - asked when is a good time to call and never called. Then proceed to pass me down to the Operations ManagerOperations Manager - she just tells me it’s tenant’s responsibility to change the air filter and they need to consult their legal department for further action, such as to allow me to move out of a not very healthy living environment. So I am currently suffering from constant coughing, shortness of breath, chest congestion, occasional random fevers, and another 8 months of living in this place. Again, I advise you to choose better than I did.
Im mixed on this place. The pros are the front office is pretty awesome and responsive. There is an Amazon delivery box set up. The pool area is nice. The gym has good free weights. The location is great right next to Keirland. Maintenance always fixes any problems I report that same day. Now for the Cons: When I lived there a tenant across the parking lot would leave his dog with the window wide open for the entire day. This dog constantly barked. Despite several noise complaints, nothing happened. Plus, very strange you would leave your window open when its 100+ out. Also, the buildings are cheaply made. Unfortunately, like many Scottsdale apartments, you can hear your neighbor sneeze. The gym does have a good set of weight, but have only 1 tread mill. They did have 2, but replaced it with a cheap piece of equipment that will easily make you trip and fall if you run on it. Bottom line, good amenities, great staff, but thin walls an noisy neighbors. Anyway, if you are ok with noisy neighbors, this place is good. Did I say I hate noise? Yeah. Difficult to decide between 3 or 4 stars due to the noise.
Liv is a great place to live! We just renewed for our third year. Everyday feels like a vacation. We love the amenities, and the staff are all very helpful. The location could not be any better!
I waited in the office for nearly half an hour. In that time I saw no staff members. I hope they treat their residents better than the prospective. I will be leasing at another property.
Attentive staff and well managed organization.
Seems like a wonderful place but the leasing office is extremely hard to get ahold of. No retuned calls or emails in over a week and a half
WARNING: Do yourself a favor and stay away from this complex; the most unprofessional staff/team weve ever encountered at such establishment. Theres too many other Apt., complexes in the area and far too many with much more to offer for less. Most and foremost the difference in professionalism at the nearby locations are far more appealing. The staff at Liv are definitely not knowledgeable enough of what needs to be disclosed at the time of inquiry to a perspective tenant. We had left two messages to the VP, she didnt have the common professional decency of returning our call. At the 11th hour they wanted additional information. I could go on and on. I spoke to a few tenants there, and they shared with me their dissatisfaction and couldnt wait until their lease is up, and urged me to go else where. Glad I did.P.S. ~ I have nothing to gain from this post, other than to warn kind people who might fall for the fluff and and the lies, as we almost did.
Our experience living here was not good. The staff tried their best to be helpful, but the construction of the buildings is so bad that every. single. noise. can be heard through the apartment. The people below us were miserable due to our noise, and we were miserable because of the people above us. Truly, it sounded like we were living in a public housing unit, or the projects that is how LOUD it is. My son was also 1 foot away from being killed as he stood in the parking garage right behind our car, when a resident drove into the garage at over 50 mph. Many of the residents have no regard for cleanliness or following the rules of the gym. Many people would workout without shoes on, proper clothing, etc. It was disgusting! I had many run ins with people at the gym. Again, not a fault of the staff at the building, but just the overall feel of the place and the people that rent there... its not high. A lot of low class residents with terrible manners, and the completely wrong attitude towards shared living space.I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
Congenial atmosphere, helpful staff
Staff turnover from assistant to head manager and inappropriate staff responses left much to be desired. The casual clothing carries over to the casual attitude of the front office. The building and structure has its own set of issues. Liv Scottsdale also refuses to post negative reviews on their website, they have also been caught in the act of posting fake reviews. The floors are thin and monthly emails about being quiet and a good neighbor will be sent out. In the living room area, I could hear the people walking above, in the bedrooms I would be woken up to them opening and closing closet doors and bathroom doors, I use a loud HEPA filter as background noise to sleep.Unfortunately, the building I lived in had a sewage smell issue along with a small flood of sewage. Water was shut off and the garage had raw sewage entering from the drains, which luckily I noticed and moved my car before the flow reached it. From that point on the first floor had the worst smell, the carpets in the first floor were soaked that night, I have pictures of them with simple drying units nothing was replaced. Eventually I was told it shared the drainage with the fast food places near the building which makes sense since you can smell it walking along the road near the sewage manholes, others complained about the smells some had heated conversations with management who kept telling us over and over “we are working with the city and doing all we can”. Each day they would send a staff member with a spray bottle that looked like something an exterminator would use to spray deodorizer on the carpets of the hallway, which left a damp deodorizing smell mixed with sewage smell. The front office paid close attention to never respond in email about the smells and to never send out an update or information on what was going on, it took them weeks to even investigate the smell and each time they would come up with a new excuse before finally giving us the “we are working with the city”. I felt my health was put at risk after looking up and learning about all the toxic gases that can be found in sewer gas and to be trapped in an enclosed area.Is this place an apartment or a hotel? They ended up renting multiple units to companies/individuals who furnish and run the apartments as vacation rentals from daily to monthly rentals. I was expecting to live in an apartment complex with some sort of minimum lease not having constant people come and go. These folks didn’t follow the rules, loud drinking and smoking around, disrespect for pool and gym rules. I was lucky the people directly by me were long term, but others gave me horror stories of massive amounts of people staying in one unit and the constant changing of people, I couldn’t imagine with the thin floors dealing with this. Each time I would call and speak with the assistant manager about an issue I began to ask if they or anyone had walked the property, issues would go without repair for weeks including the ever broken entrance door. I figured having staff that lived on property would mean things would get done and taken care of, after all they use this as a selling point on the tour as some sort of positive. I see another review accusing them of entering their units, it would be a miracle if you saw the office staff out of the office actually walking around the property, and even if they did walk around they didnt seem to care or make nothing of it.
Beautiful:)
Awesome place to visit!
