So far so great. I came in on a Tuesday and needed to move in Saturday. Cindy managed to pull some strings and work hard with maintenance to make my apartment move in ready an entire week earlier then scheduled! Farrah promptly responded to every email, keeping us updated and informed the entire process. Jessica helped us sign everything and thoroughly answered any last minute questions that arose. Great team work. Thank you to all of the staff for making a miracle happen!

So just like for everyone moving from one place to the next was crazy. It’s even that much more stressful with all the COVID-19 stuff happening— and having three kids.I’m grateful that the team here did a fantastic job to help us as much as possible. There were only a few things that needed to be taken care of in the actual apartment for maintenance, which is understandable because the apartment had to be turned so quickly to meet our move-in date needs. But the maintenance team was incredible, Jose and Ashton worked early in the day until late in the evening to get us squared away. And now everything’s perfect. We’re really appreciative! So far so good for the first two weeks here. It’s really nice to live in a community where the management team is so helpful and friendly. Thanks guys!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Leasing office was so shady and kept changing the requirements day after day. We sent in TWO offer letters, statements and STILL doubted our background. Main supervisor had a sour attitude and started yelling saying I rather refund your holding fee than have you live here, and yes I have a recording of the call. I wouldnt recommend applying here out of state, they have major trust issues and always go back on there word. 3 different people kept telling us different things every time. From move in date, to additional fees, to more evidence. Customer service was the least of their concerns. If I could rate negative, I would. Also, applied for another complex rated higher, with all the same documents AND WE GOT APPROVED AND THE APARTMENT THAT SAME DAY.

I lived here unfortunately for over 5 years while the place was sold five times not a bad place when we started living there but eventually just too many CD people moved in however my apartment had a great view of the McDonald mountains so I wouldnt give it two thumbs up but I wouldnt say two thumbs down either.so they didnt like my honest evaluation and replied back to me that they had no record that I ever lived there however I moved out four years ago and still no friends that live there and its the same old thing Yes everything I said I stand behind and the management staff was slimy. If you have an issue in management theyll sweep it under the rug but beware because theres many cockroaches under that rug the view was beautiful but once again do you have to temper that with their inability to maintain their facility especially the swimming pool which mostly was green or closed and if theyre wondering who is this guy well look a little deeper and youll find I live there for many many years

My only issue is with management(long story).Last year in August during a bad wind storm a large 35 foot tree in front of my patio fell onto the parking lot. No one was injured but the tree roots destroyed my patio. Management had the tree removed the next morning and told me that they would repair my patio as soon as possible. February 2019, my patio is still not completely repaired. For six months management kept giving me the run-around saying they were in dispute with their insurance company to cover the repairs. November of 2018, Wanda (Apartment Manager) called me to let my know that repairs would begin that weekend and should be completed in four days. When contractors finally started working on the patio in December 2018, they would only work two days every 2 weeks for only a couple of hours each time. The entire time management did not keep me informed on anything. If you do decide to lease here hopefully you wont have to deal with management because it sucks. Now I have to exclude Farrah from the front office because she is awesome and very friendly. The following are email is Managements response.(RESPONSE FROM MANAGER)Hi Adrian,I really want to apologize, I was under the impression that you were being kept in the loop and this is not acceptable service from me or my team! Save this email address for future correspondence it comes directly to me and I check my emails even many times when I am not in the office. Farrah has been off and I did not get your email to respond right away.I respect your frustrations and would be upset too, if I was in your shoes. I am not sure where the communication was dropped while I was out on vacation for a good part of December and since then, but this is not the service that we give our residents. The insurance review and contractors have all taking way too much time! I have left instructions and asked if you two had been communicated with over the time frame and I guess I was misinformed.  I will be having a meeting with my team today, as my policy is always to inform and communicate to assure that our residents that even through we cant do it today, we are doing it. This goes for anything.I was informed about the tree on August 14th and sent photos so I could see the damages. Seeing the photos, I told Josh that I would start working on arrangements and I immediately reached out to contractors to try and get someone out 1stthing in the morning. It was dark and I told Josh to make sure you were ok and told him that I would be out at 5:30 AM to take photos, follow up with you and meet contractors. In which I did.As for your repairs, the contractor did tell us that they would be here and have it completed. The contractor had delays, and then again with the walls… As you already know. I am really sorry that you have been the one to look at and deal with this every day. I working with them on punch lists and corrections that need to be madeI did inspect your patio this week, and unfortunately notices issues with the specs of the design and quality issues. I am actually meeting with the owner of the company that did your patio this morning to look at it and will let you know the plan. I will also talk to them about the inconveniences that they have put you though! You are able to use and enjoy your patio, the only thing that might need to be done is move item away from the walls to do addition work. Which you will be notified of in advance! We do not want you to leave and really hope we can build that trust back, however if you are set in moving let us know.Wanda Wint | Community Manager

I moved here last year and signed a one year lease. In addition to rent there is also a monthly fee for trash, sewer, water and HOA fees. I was told this fee would be between $40 up to $100 at most during the warm weather months. That was a lie. This fee has never been below $100 and in fact last month was $115. In addition they are raising my rent by over 9%, with no additional services being offered. Maintenance takes forever with any resident issue, and I even had a tree fall on my car. Management just said to file a claim with my insurance. It was their tree that was not properly pruned! Do not move here!

My wife and I have been here since we got married in 2011, and shes been here for an additional six months beyond that. The management has changed quite a bit but it hasnt necessarily been bad changes. Things have gotten a bit more strict and, though it meant getting pinned with a fee for being 30 minutes late on a payment, I can appreciate being more strict on things (having been in the military). If youre a light sleeper, ask to be away from the pools because yes there are parties; my wife and I are right next to one though and we dont have any trouble sleeping. I do wish there was an explanation why after two years our rent increased by about $40/month, but whatever I can deal. The only reason we are moving out is because we close on a house soon, otherwise wed stick around. People are friendly enough, and aside from the parties things are relatively peaceful and everyone keeps to themselves mostly. And packages dont just get lost like K. says. If you look at the addresses nearby there are some that are almost identical... sounds like a sorting problem to me, Ive had packages get delivered to me that were for another complex or even another apartment number in the same complex before. Mistakes happen, this place is run by humans. This place wasnt knock-your-socks-off amazing, but I dont know of any place in the world that is. I hear Disneyland/world is, but I just dont know about that cause Ive never been there.

My experience here at Casa Santa Fe has been mixed. When I moved in there was actually a hole in the kitchen wall. It was under a cabinet and covered with a plastic grocery bag. Other maintenance issues were present also, I truly dont think maintenance was in my apartment before it was rented to me. The office has been responsive to any requests I make, slowly, but I dont always get what I expect. And the office is frequently understaffed when I go in. Yes, I see the roaches the other reviews have mentioned. Smells come in through the under cabinets, and my parking spot is two buildings away. I agree with another review that this experience has been unusual compared to other apartments Ive lived in, but my price is good. Except......Now, my lease is up for renewal and the contract they sent me is more than $200 above what was offered in writing and agreed to. Even if this is just a mistake, it shouldnt happen. Now Im worried about signing a contract Id previously had no issue with. And they added property tax of $10 a month. I thought renters didnt pay property tax. Plus sales tax.I dont know yet how I feel about the new management company, but so far I did like the old company better.

Took two weeks to fix our dryer, another time we didnt have a dishwasher for over a week. The assistant manager said it was our fault because it wasnt a dishwasher, but rather a sanitizer. She told us we were supposed to wash our dishes by hand, and use the dishwasher after to sanitize everything. Exasperated, I took pictures of the make and model, downloaded the owners manual from the manufacturer, and even highlighted the section that said it was commercial grade, and even rinsing wasnt required. The dimwit said the manufacturer was wrong, and she knew that because her boyfriend was a maintenance man, and he told her so. They keep replacing old broken appliances with old broken appliances. The first manager told us the cockroach, about the size of a small pony, which was walking across the living room floor the day we moved in to the unit, was a special breed of cockroach. She claimed it was a sewer cockroach and there was nothing they could do to remove them. After a couple of seconds of Googling it was revealed that a sewer cockroach simply refers to any common cockroach that is well feed, this very large, but definitely not special, or hard to remove. They gave us the colors, and type, of patio shades that they require. Then after purchasing two we were told they changed the colors, and we were forced to remove them. But prior to removal the gardener destroyed one with his weed whacker. Then a towing company they allow to patrol the lot stuck stickers on the window of my truck, that I havent been able to remove for a year, because the temporary permits had fallen off the back window due to dried glue, and we have had the same parking spot for three years. It seems to be a slightly better now since the assistant manager, who lied about everything, and wasnt very bright, either left or was fired. The information I have posted are only a few of the many problems we have had to endure since moving into this slum.

Move out costs are higher than the amounts they advise. Charged for 4 drip trays for one refrigerator, charged extra for cleaning and I’m still waiting for the response for a request for that receipt. They say you can have a free carpet cleaning at lease renewal but deny your request when you ask so they can charge extra for that. Over 24 months should be NO problem CHARGE for paint according to the price list but they charged $50 for touch ups. When greystar (who now runs the complex on the other side of 115th st)was the management company it was wonderful, I’ve been looking forward to leaving for the past 3 years that AMC has been managing the property, given the reviews of AMC online I wasn’t as surprised as some people by the excessive costs.

I have lived here for nearly two years and the first year seem to be fine. When new management took over things starting going downhill. I’m very disappointed in the lack of communication the front office has with their residents. I have had maintenance requests that were not fulfilled, and had to place them again. I have tried talking to the front office regarding the smoking policy and have been told different things and also have been ignored. Our neighbors smoke and anytime I use the AC, heater, fan or dryer it smells of cigarette smoke. We are given one parking spot, which is fine but the issue is that someone else is constantly parked in our spot including maintenance. I have addressed this issue twice and it’s still not taken care of. Along with other reasons, we look forward to our move out day.

If I had the money to move out of these apartments now, I would. When we moved in, the apartment had not even been clean, carpet was a mess and things were falling apart. It took me trying to get a hold of someone for a month to have anyone come in. When we have had other maintenance issues that required someone to come, it has taken several attempts to get someone to come in. (we had an air conditioning start to pour out water and they never even called back. ) People are always loud late at night, the grounds are filthy and they STILL do not know how to let you know when you have a package. You just have to call every week and ask if you THINK someone might have sent you one. The new staff is completely clueless and when we were late on rent, we tried for 3 days to get the total amount due and no one replies. All in all the worst renting experience and staff I have ever dealt with and can not wait to get out.

Casa Santa Fe Apartments in Scottsdale used to be a decent complex but the management company that recently took over the Apartment Complex is terrible. It was managed by Greystar and now is managed by a company called AMC. There has been so many problems it is really a joke at this point but I will least a few of the issues so that you get a sense of what living at this complex would be like.Let me first start by saying I tried to address my concerns with the Manager Nikki but when I went to the office she is never there. I was given an email address and emailed her and it took 6 days to respond to me. They seemed to forget that we are paying customers. Time after time when we want to get something from the office they are closed. On Memorial Day weekend, both pools were locked up due to repairs or water issues. We could not even use the gas grills which barely work.So here’s a list of what you can expect if you move into this complex. The neighbor above us urinated on his patio and onto our patio furniture. This was one of the issues that took Nikki 6 days to respond. I have an email into the District manager named Josh and it’s been a week and there has been no response at all.The pools in the front of the complex are green. Literally. There are rowdy neighbors partying at all hours of the night and the pools, when they working, are filled with drunken neighbors with a complete disregard for anyone else or there are groups of unaccompanied adolescent and teenagers with absolutely no supervision.Maintenance is a joke. Good luck getting anything fixed if it’s broken. There is trash and garbage out in the lot and around the property constantly.I am a current resident at Casa Santa Fe in Scottsdale at 11105 N 15th St. the management team simply does not care. I would not recommend this apartment complex.

Very disgusting apartments, infested with roaches AND bedbugs. When the management was told about the infestation, they said that we must have brought them with us. This apartment is very infested and there is no way that the bugs were not here when i moved in. A pipe burst in the bathroom, it took them almost a week (without water too) to fix the pipe, but only after everything was soaked with toilet water. The manager was very hard to get a hold of and doesnt seem to care what breaks in the place. I was then told that I was responsible for cleaning the gross bug filled apartment. This is the worst place ive ever been to. More then 1 neighbor has said that there is a bedbug problem in the complex. Photo proof will be on yelp to see as i cannot post them here. When i say my place is infested, its very infested, All of my personal belongings are ruined and they pretty much said too bad. We will be calling the health department on them.

I have read several negative reviews about Casa Santa Fe and I am not sure that the authors actually live in this complex, as their experiences totally contradict mine.I evaluate a property based on a number of factors.1) Location – I initially thought that 115th Street was too far east for me but quickly discovered that I am less than 10 minutes from Shea and the loop 101.2) Exterior appearance/layout – at first glance, if some of the necessary signage were taken away, this could easily be mistaken for a condominium complex in Palm Springs or a fishing village in Greece, what with the white stucco exterior and colorful shades and shutters. Because everything is not in a boring straight lines it may take a day or two to figure out how to get from point A to point B but, once you do, it is, as the saying goes, easy peasy.3) Amenities – outstanding, what with a main pool that looks like it belongs at a five star resort, a second pool, a well equipped exercise room and the number of other things that have made my experience outstanding. And, for any of you with the dog, this is about as close to heaven as one can get because the complex has its own dog park. I used to travel to the one on McDonald and Hayden – 10 miles each way. I am now saving more than $30 a month in gas and at least one half hour each day in time.4) Interior layout – perfect, at least as far as I am concerned. The 750 sq. ft. provide plenty of room for a large bedroom, and even larger living room with fireplace, a dining area, a very modern kitchen and bathroom and plenty of space for me to have a multi computer office.5) Staff – the three young ladies who work in the office are individuals who, if I still own my owned business, I would hire immediately. Competence is, obviously, necessary but without attitude becomes grating at times. These three individuals know what they are talking about and always do so with a smile. If any of them are having personal problems there is no way I have ever known about them.6) Maintenance – I know that for some people this might be first on your list but no matter where it is you can rest assured. The next property I see that does not ever have a single problem will become the first so the question is, how are things like this handled. The best word I can think of is expeditiously in that repairs are handled quickly and in a way they never have to be done a second time. There are things that mightve taken me two days to fix that they have handled in five minutes – and always with pleasant personalities. Since I have a great deal of time remembering names I have now deemed them to be Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid and Wyatt Earp but, however they are to be addressed, they know what they are doing. Finally, a disclaimer that some of you might find to be necessary. I do not work for this complex nor am I related to anybody who does. That being said, at this point of my life I am looking to be happy in a way I find to be comfortable and Casa Santa Fe satisfies both of these needs. Five stars, three thumbs up and 11 on a scale of 1 to 10.

The new owners told our roommate we couldnt do it, then when my fiancé called the lady working in the office said she had to call her boss and then called back saying they could do it just this once for us, but they dont normally do it. Today my fiancé called to see how the paper work was coming along and they said they will no longer let us sign it over because in the original Casa Santa Fe lease agreement we signed back in August, it states nothing about the ability to get off the lease unless we break it. The new workers in the office are super bitchy and rude!
