Only place Ill let anyone touch my hair. My 8 year old also gets her hair done here. They are so clean, friendly and they know how to cut hair very well even for the beginnings. Giselle has been my favorite by far, luciana has also done my hair their (which o think is no longer there). The best part is if they think they cant cut the hair they dont try and do it themselves they will recommend you to someone else who is more experienced; which I love!

I came here after a bad haircut I got at Tricoci. Laura was very nice and understanding and did an amazing job with my hair! She is also the layering queen and Ive never had a stylist cut in such great layers! Will definitely come back!

I love this place and I’m a regular customer. I ended up going to this salon for hair because their color as they called it as permanent hair color has many issues as it get off from my hair after a wash and I can see my gray hair. After spending a lot of money on it I stopped going there for my hair service.I visited this place for other services but my last two experiences wasn’t good with massage specially in regards to the cleanliness of the locker. This is my second time I found many tiny hairs in the locker where they told us to keep our stuff. The bottles for conditioner was empty. They charged the full amount along with the Wellness fee that they increased the price by telling us as it’s done because of the safety of the people and by doing deep Cleaning since pandemic. Hair dryer station wasn’t clean .If they can’t maintained the cleanliness then why they charged the wellness fee. I don’t feel pampered as I was before and even there is a huge difference in the quality of the service since pandemic.

The spa feels like a retreat. I could spend hours back there! The salon in top notch, hip and the stylish. They have every Aveda product youd ever need. Front desk service was A+. Ill def be making it a quarterly treat. The facial and massage menu is spectacular. Plenty of professional technicians to choose from. Highly recommended.

Salon and Spa are everything as advertised. Spent a few hours getting a facial, pedicure and massage and my body and mind Thanked me for it. They are very professional and clean. Customer service is their top priority.

I had a bad experience with this place, Amanda just ruined all my hair, the haircut was terrible, ripped off my hair, not evenly, the length of the hair is different throughout the entire head, i also asked not to remove the length, but she cut me decently, the styling was also horrible, when she was combing and pulled out my hair, it was painful. I don’t know, maybe there are good masters, but Amanda just doesn’t know how to cut. does not know how to dry hair either.

Omgoodness. Martha is wonderful. Shes not only very sweet and gentle... She KNOWS what shes doing. She took my graying looking hair and literally revitalized it. It was amazing. I told her this before I left I will say it again... Shes got a client for life.

The stylist opened her station drawer and a brush was filthy with hair. She didnt introduce herself when I arrived. The blow drying looked old . The salon looks pretty but the stylist didnt have the knowledge the haircut was not bad . The receptionist was pushing her to finish quickly so she could take another client. Not a high end spa hairsalon. It was my first time very disappointed.

I literally never post reviews, but this was such a great experience. The salon is clean and open, I didnt have to wait at all for my appointment, and the people there are all so professional. Karla, who colored my hair, is fantastic - she managed to do exactly what I was envisioning even though I was horrible at trying to describe it. Definitely, definitely going back.

My massage from GARY was fantastic and would use him again. However the pedicure was just so-so and Ive had better at much lower cost. Reason I chose to write, however, is because of my HORRIBLE haircut from Angie. I have never had a worse haircut in my life. Just wanted a tiny trim and explained repeatedly that I am trying to grow out my layers and I left with a horrible chop job. Been less than a month since my cut and Im going elsewhere this weekend in hopes of SOME correction to the awful cut.

I have been here for different services, and they are always all great! Most recently I had a Pedicure with Kat. Not only is she so sweet, she was so gentle and it was such a great experience. I have had a few massages here and they are always so relaxing. All of the girls in the front are so helpful and kind. Always willing to go the extra mile for you. I highly recommend it here!

Highly recommend this spa! Victoria was absolutely amazing for my facial and eyebrow wax! It was a very clean and relaxing environment, and I left feeling totally pampered and my skin was just glowing!! Again, go to Victoria, you won’t be disappointed!!!

I had asked for a balayage touch up and when I arrived I stated exactly what I wanted and that it was a balayage touch up, which was suppose to be $75. Amanda was very sweet however she charged me for something totally completely different then what I wanted. They charged me for partial highlights and a gloss. Which ended up being $159. They also charge an extra $4 because of COVID-19 which they don’t tell you about. I didn’t complain about the fee because I am very understanding and I didn’t want to argue with them either because they must get a few complaints over it too. Honestly I wouldn’t ever come back and instead I recommend going to Salon Neapolitan. I always go there and I only decided to try this place because of the reviews but after going I was so utterly disappointed.

What an amazing experience we had at Asha Salon Spa Woodfield. The reception staff was very accommodating with coordinating Liz and Ashley for highlights and a haircut for my niece. Both Liz and Ashley did a consultation before they started, asked all the right questions. Their expertise and knowledge were put to good use and my niece was thrilled with her color and style! Very competitively priced, I found that the amenities and service are top notch. We will definitely be back.

As soon as I walked in felt safe in regards to covid. Took my temperature at the door the greeter stood away from me but in a nice professional way. The service was good I got a acne facial. The person who took care of me was awesome gave me a mini massage while cream was working. My only complaint its to pricey $135 + for squeezing my face manually and putting cream and warm towel. Did not see much of a difference when I got out was very disappointed. ☹

After waiting 2 months to get my hair colored after another salon over bleached and ruined my hair, I finally love my hair again!!! Liz understood what I wanted and did such an amazing job with the color. I am so happy I found an amazing, creative, understanding colorist. Highly recommend the salon, colorist and front desk staff are amazing!!!!

I am disabled, dont drive, and have been a customer of ASHA for over 15 years. I double checked my appointment for a full color, cut, highlight and called Friday. Told them Im going on vacation tuesday. I arrived at my appointment only to be told by Marissa, the manager that I do not have an appointment for a full highlight only partial. I will never return to ASHA again. Since Karen moved to Tampa, I hesitated trying a new hairdresser but kept coming and buying products. You lost a very good customer. I did my haircut services from Asha SalonSpa. The stylist was amazing, patient and did a detailed haircut. She me get rid of the split ends, without loosing length of the hair. I would really love to recommend her.

The staff at the Schamburg location are outstanding. Margo, Angela, and every single person always greet me with a smile, call me by name, and even when busy I always get treated very well. Beautiful salon. I went from long to short and had 7 inches cut off from my hair. I had a color consultation about moving from a blondish brown to a low maintenance brown slightly lighter than my natural color. Ashley F. did a wonderful color formulation and cut.

My first time coming was today and I had an amazing experience. Pretty and clean salon along with amazing customer service. I received a facial from Lana and she was so nice. My skin was glowing after and she had a warm and greeting presence. I would totally recommend her! I also had a no chip manicure done and it was great too. My nails are shaped well and clean. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come again. I recommend it to everyone.

I recently received a gift card and have never been here. I decided on using the gift card for a wax and it was as good as a wax can be. They have prices based on the level of experience the employee has. I went with fresh talent, which is the least expensive, and the girl did a great job! Overall it was a very relaxing and luxurious experience.

I had an appointment for a massage and a facial. I had such a great time. The salon is gorgeous. Once you get back into the spa area, it is so relaxing! I had my massage first and I feel like they had thought of every little detail. After that, was my facial. I loved the products and she did a really good job with my facial. The only thing that kind of set the experience back for me was that during my facial, some of the products got into my eyes. I didn’t notice it so much during the facial because my eyes were closed, but for the rest of the day, my eyes were blurry, red and watery. It was an accident and I know not intentional. That said, I would still recommend Asha to all of my friends, and I have.

Im VERY picky about my hair, and havent gone to a different colorist or stylist in four years. Lizz at Asha Salon Schaumburg eased my anxiety & gave me a beautiful Balayage sun-kissed look, and Angela cut and styled my hair EXACTLY as I wanted. I would go see both of them again! Also, I felt very safe at the salon during this COVID period. It was VERY clean, well-spaced out, and easy to social distance.

The salon is beautifully done and the staff is wonderful. I get my haircut here and my husband gets his monthly massage, the spa area is stunning! Love it

Thomas is such a AMAZING STYLIST, couldn’t ask for anybody better! It was my first time getting professional help with my hair and he made me feel comfortable and relaxed. His conversations and the whole process put me at ease!

Salon is beautiful, very high end. I went in for highlights and the stylist did a great job. I was 6 minutes late because I could not find the location so they switched my stylist with some more expensive and did not inform me there would be a $35 price difference. ( FYI the door is black with black lettering so it is very hard to find, I circled the mall twice trying to find the location). The experience was almost great, until after shampooing the lady asked if I would be blow drying my own hair? ( wait, what?) $175 for highlights ( which I was expecting to pay $140) in a high end salon to blow dry my own hair. I was so embarrassed.

Was having a father and son day and stopped by Woodfield mall . We came upon this salon and asked if they had any walk ins available. They accommodated us right away. Kelly did a great job on my 2 year old sons hair, she was so nice. And Paige cut and styles my hair she was sweet and did a great job. My son and I had a Great experience!Thanks, Joey

The services I received from Kelly and Victoria were amazing as usual! My review is based solely on the salons business practices. I will preface my review with the fact that I have been a long time client of ASHA. As a matter of fact, for over 16 years. While I understand that times are challenging because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it DOES NOT excuse the complete lack of transparency that ASHA has exhibited since reopening.ASHA has increased the prices on the services that I receive by $5 for each service AND charges an ADDITIONAL $4 for a COVID-19 fee. The problem is that they did not tell clients until AFTER they completed the services. The day that I went to get my haircut, I had to arrive with my hair already washed and dried. So I paid 10% more for 25% less service than I usually receive. Even then, I only figured it out when I realized that I was paying 10% more than the last time I was at the salon in January. ASHA has a system in place that emails their clients to remind of their scheduled services and also of the promotions that the salon is running. If they are able to do that, why were they unable to email all of their clients to inform them of the increase prices?I did reach out to the owner of the salon. After a few days, she responded Unfortunately, her response was rather defensive. She told me that I should have complained to the people at the front desk so that I would get a credit for the $4 COVID-10 surcharge. Way to put the front desk staff in the line of fire for a policy that the ownership instituted.Im not sure I want to patronize a salon that does not respect their clientele enough to keep them updated of changes in the pricing structure. A little communication would have gone a long way.By the way, Im not the only one that thinks that this was a lousy thing to do. Apparently, multiple staff have left because of this mess.

She cut my long hair. I asked to keep it as long as possible on top of it I asked something and she did something. Totally disappointed and lost my long hair it took 3years to grow my hair that long. I am very pleased with my hair cut I got from Margaret! I really like that she took her time and made sure it was perfect. She understood what I was asking her to do, and she didnt try to suggest for me to do something else (like every other hair dresser Ive had). The salon was very nice, and the price was great!

Im growing my hair to my waist and Ive got about 4-6 inches left. When I began scheduling regular appointments at this salon last year, I noticed a dramatic increase in my hair health and speed of growth overall. By growth of course I mean retention of length. My hair had really plateaued when I wasnt getting it done on a regular basis but once I was attending to it about every 10 weeks, it was obvious each time that gains had been made. I tend to pay around $200 because I get some color done and I think the value shows up over time (4+months). My desire for longer, healthy hair helps me justify the cost and I have not once been disappointed. The Aveda products can be expensive but as far as professional hair/skin care goes, they are within reason and are all-natural for those individuals with sensitive skin/scalp or do not wish to use a ton of unknown chemicals.I am a creature of habit and recommend Karla for color and Moe for cuts, although based on what Ive seen while visiting, I suspect that they are all pretty talented individuals.There are other services offered (massage, eyebrows and possibly manicures) but Ive yet to try any.Lastly, there is a hand lotion that I highly recommend. It smells great and has enough water in it where it goes on smoothly and doesnt feel heavy and greasy on your hands.The cost can vary depending on the experience of the artist so there is some leeway there and you can find a cut and colour that is more affordable but still great quality.I definitely recommend this salon if you are serious about hair growth or hair health and appearance overall.

Theres fabulous stylists here and some not as fabulous so it totally depends who you get. But Ive always had nice haircuts and love the added touch of the hand massage. The environment is fantastic. Just be prepared to pay a price for being pampered but thats to be expected for a salon in this area.

I was disappointed with my cut last time and with the help of Gina and Gwen, I love my cut and color. Their attentiveness and customer service is amazing. I was able to get my cut fixed within a week and I am beyond happy with it. Thank you for listening! And thank you for my beautiful hair.

I had a haircut with Margaret and she was fantastic. I had the best scalp massage I have ever had. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. The style last me three days. I highly recommend this location. The staff is friendly and Margaret was amazing.

Unfortunately, I had one of the worst salon experiences I’ve ever had. I came last week and had my nails and toes done so poorly. The polish was so thick, it bubbled on my toes. The girl doing it was very nice, but she started doing my nails and waited until she was almost finished to tell me I had to pick a new color. I did, and she started over. It took 3 and a half hours to finish. I decided to complain because I had paid a lot of money for these services. I talked to a girl and she offered a polish change. I said that i paid a lot for my services and I didn’t just want a polish change. She politely offered to schedule the services over again complimentary. She also said the manager would give me a call the next day.Now, a week later, I just had my nails and toes done by Emma. She is absolutely fantastic- if you do go to this salon, I highly recommend her. She is phenomenal. When I went to check out, she told me it would be $80. I told her that it was supposed to be comped and that the manager never called me. There was no note in my file like there should have been. She went back to ask someone about it and then it was free.I really enjoyed my experience with Emma, but the experience I have had here was honestly terrible. I hate to complain, but I don’t know if I see myself coming back. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

$42 for a mans haircut..I dont think so

I usually go to Asha for a haircut with Nomi. Always very happy with the haircut and everything. Not a single problem ever. Were leaving this friday out of town. Unfortunately Nomi was booked for this week, so I had to go with Anette last minute. Haircut is really good but when she was cleaning my neck she burned my skin a lot. I didnt notice it till I got home. My neck was and still burns. I think she knew that,because she didnt give me a mirror to check the haircut from the back like they always do. Disappointed with my experience this time.

We love Asha! We live out of state and have purchased several gift cards for family members that live near Asha. They have all said they would rather have a gift card for their spa services than anything else! Wonderful experience for them from the minute they walked through the door until their services were complete. I highly recommend.

This review is for their spa...the spa is beautiful and peaceful and their services were absolutely perfect. I had a 90 min massage and 60 mins Tulasara facial, both were divine, but the facial with Tina was exceptional. She spent so much time, everything felt and smelled wonderful and honestly, it was more than just a facial, she had wrapped my feet and hands to provide extra hydration and it felt soooo good! I cannot wait to go back!

Highly disappointed with my most recent appointment at ASHA Salon. I have been going there for several years and got sticker shock with this last appointment. I did speak with one of the managers and shared my disappointment with how much they charged for a service that only took 5 minutes. The manager was very understanding and was taking notes during our phone conversation. She asked if she could get back in touch with me the next day. I told her most certainly. Still waiting for a call back.

This was one of the best experiences I had in a long time. The people were friendly and very efficient. The service was great. The massage and the service from all your personnel are addictive. I will add a massage to my monthly routine. Also, I am buying a give certificate for my daughter and her husband for a couples massage.

Great Experience, I have tried to experiment with a couple of other places, but my experience at Asha is always the best. The products used, the surroundings and their beauticians are all very good. Will continue using them.

Love, love, love this place! I have been coming to this locations for years. Their spa services are out of this world. I work long hours and always call them last minute to schedule an appointment (which I feel bad about) and they always have time to get me in their schedule. The staff is always so friendly and very happy to help! I love calling and talking to James! He always takes care of all my scheduling needs. Whenever I have my cut and color done, I always leave feeling like a million bucks!

I got a no chip manicure at the Woodfield location that did not last a day. The location was really nice, but my manicure was pretty sloppy and started chipping later that day. It started completely coming off after 3 days. I might go back for other salon services, but definitely wouldnt go here for another manicure as Im seeing some other comments with a similar experience.

Rude and unwelcoming. Booked me with a girl that had no experience in pixie cuts. I do appreciate that she was honest and told me she didn’t want to mess up my hair but REALLY? Maybe ask these questions while booking the appointment then I wouldn’t of wasted my time and money to drive here. To make it worse the girl at the front desk was chomping on her gum as she checked me out WITHOUT an apology. I’d beware before scheduling.

I had a massage today and the the therapist did a good job. The atmosphere in the spa was nice and relaxing. The young lady that rang me up at the end, however, was incredibly rude and made my experience much less enjoyable. Her attitude and short responses were shocking and a complete 180 from the service I received upstairs. Its a shame; Im not sure if Ill return.

I use several people at this salon and spa and theyre all great. Service is always good and prices are relatively reasonable. They have deals occasionally too. Highly recommend. Only downfall is that parking can be really bad because of legoland.

I had an appointment recently at Asha for a touch-up on my roots and highlights. My colorist came, we chatted about doing a touch up my roots and redoing my highlights. She did my roots, which wasnt a gentle experience. I waited 30 minutes and then it was time to wash my hair. She didnt do anything about my highlights. The person who washed my hair must have been a new addition. Water was splashed all over my face and in my ears. Clearly she was inexperienced and definitely needed more practice and training. My hair was completely soaked when I walked out, I couldnt wait to be done and out of there.I would still highly recommend Asha for their Spa services, but avoid the Salon.

If this review was about customer service I would give it a 5 because Ashley was great but this is also about my nails. I had my nails done on Saturday and by Monday I noticed cracks in a couple of my nails but one nail top completely came off. Im not sure if its the OPI polish, technic or what but Im very disappointed that this happened to my nails after 2 days for as much as I paid to have them done. I walked in to see if I could have it done but they did not have a tech available so now Im still walking around with one nail completely not done. So said, very disappointed.

I love coming to Asha Salon at The Streets of Woodfield. I know my service and treatment will be excellent as always. This is my happy place!

Jamie was very helpful with suggesting new hairstyle that I needed badly. I was offered multiple beverages & also had amazing scalp massage before the haircut that helped me relax. Its worth it. Definitely recommend it.
