Worked with David Polcik and he’s very good at his helped me out the best he could with what I had told I only had so much money and didn’t want to pay more than my old monthly payments and he found a way to make it work with as little money as I had and I ended up leaving with a brand new 2021 Hyundai Sonata which I love and didn’t think I’d leave with the same day. The folks at Patrick Hyundai made this one of the smoothest transactions I have ever had. I emailed and negotiated the price beforehand. Before I even went to the dealership I knew what the cost of the vehicle was as well as the out-the-door price. Which included taxes and fees. The salesperson, Ron, was very easy-going and low-pressure. He answered questions and made it an easy process. The women in the office made the paperwork a breeze, went over products they offered but were very low pressure. I would recommend Patrick Hyundai to anyone looking for a Hyundai or any new car in general.

Horrible buying experience ever!! Don’t buy from…they false advertise their prices!! Spent entire day trying to get financing approvals from my own credit union and asking questions to dealership with limited responses…and when ready to close the deal I’m told the price is different essentially because I’m from out of state! Zero customer service with these guys! The best thing about this experience is it helped me be buyer beware for my next experience. I know now what questions to ask right up front! I was very interested in a vehicle they had listed on thier site, so I used the text feature to ask several very specific questions. Got Samantha, asked the questions, she gave me the link to the vehicle on their site which I had already been to and looked through. Asked the questions again, she, again, told me to look on their site with the link she provided. Clearly not interested in answering my questions I asked to speak to someone else in sales. She said they were too busy?! Such a waste if time, they need to invest in better customer service reps, do not recommend!!
I have a brand new Hyundai Palisade. My car was due for its first oil change . I took it in today .They were fast and efficient . I noticed a scratch in the back . This was my first experience with Patrick Hyundai as well as leasing for the first time. Tom Scimeca is the authorized dealer contact that superbly handled our lease agreement and a terrific job in seeking out the vehicle we chose which was not available locally. Tom was a pleasure to work with, extremely courteous, very personable and professional in explaining everything. I have never dealt with this dealership and with the service so far, I trust that my favorable comments will hold true throughout our lease. Also enjoyed the photo and talking with Tom about his Olympic daughter, congratulations!
They will continously blast u with calls and text msgs trying to get you to bring your car in for maintenance. 2 to 3 calls a day sometimes plus a few text and it doesnt matter how many times you ask them to stop.....Since I have asked them to stop numerious times now, moving forward each call I receive I will write a negative review on sharing this annoying experience. Next yelp, then the BBB, facebook, etc....
I went into for an oil change, and received excellent service. Ill start by saying that everyone was so nice and helpful!My husband and I started our car search back in January - long story short, we have only ever owned beater cars and my car finally gave up - we decided to invest in a new car that was in our budget. We live by Wilkins Hyundai, but my husbands friend had a better experience over at Patrick Hyundai, so thats where we started. I began by talking with with Dorothy and she was so very helpful! She let me know what they had in stock according to my wants and she set up an appointment time for me to come in and test drive the vehicles. Now again, we were there back in January, and as always life usually gets in the way. We werent able to purchase a vehicle until late April, but I do appreciate during those 3 months I wasnt spammed with e-mails and calls asking when I would come back. Dorothy would check up on me every now and then but she wasnt aggressive about it.Finally, when we were able to make our purchase, our salesman, Ron Skalski, was amazing! I was pretty picky about what I wanted in a new car but he listened to my needs/wants and we ended up buying a 2022 Tuscon SE. Ron is so pleasant and knowledgeable about the vehicles there. He made us feel comfortable and answered any questions we had!Overall at Patrick Hyundai, they really listen to you and make you feel welcome!

I had good dealing with them on buying a car and they promised to pay my last two payments and a end of lease fee, but they did not pay in full I contacted them via email three times and they said they would work on getting it resolved, but never did and never called me back. Promises giving and promises not kept. Make sure you get something in writing if they are paying off another car or lease or you end up like me 2-3 months later getting a bill that was not paid and screwing with your credit rating.
Second time purchasing a vehicle at this dealership and always ask for Dave. Very patient and honest which I love and appreciate. The entire staff were welcoming and had great energy. Test Drive Experience - Very goodCar buying experience and car price -1. Dont expect they will honor TrueCar price if you want to trade in your old car. I had to pay more than $700 than the car price mentioned on TrueCar Website.2. Be ready to buy a worthless mandatory package (which will bump your car price by another $1499) if you want to buy car from this dealership. This information is not mentioned on their website.3. Be ready to drive on Thursday morning (10 AM to 11 AM) to get missing item (part of mandatory package) installed if they are not installed in your car at the time of delivery. Surprisingly no other time works for them which is quite frustrating.Time for car buy process - Plan for a whole day as it took more than 5 hours to finish all paperwork and get new car out of the dealership. I had to cancel my dinner plans due to this delay.Note : Dont forget any of your personal item in your old car as you will never get it back. I missed my I-PASS in old car and when I called the dealership next day; I was not at all entertained and they lost my I-PASS. Once you buy the car they will just forget about you so dont expect too much.

Overall bad experience in dealing with the Service Department and manager on some maintenance work I had done. The manager has not returned my calls and has not followed thru on my case. Disappointed and would not recommend doing business with Patrick Hyundai.
Called service for an appointment and couldnt get one for 10 days so I went in and talked to Gus service consultant and he was able to get car fixed in 3 days and found extended warranty so it was no chargeGREAT JOB GUS!!!!

Worked with Manny and Taylor buying a new SUV 08/2020. Manny was very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and presentable He worked with me achieving a price I thought fair value and never made me feel pressured or became hostile while negotiating. Taylor worked with me going over all the bells and whistles and explained thoroughly their functions. She had my mobile phone and car utilities synched and working in no time. Never did I feel like I didnt know what was going on. Buying a new car can be very timid but they both made me feel at ease during the process. I would highly recommend. The only thing I wish more was Taylor came with the purchase of the SUV, shes definitely a babe!

Due diligence was performed and we narrowed things down to two dealerships. This was a big deal to us and a long term relationship was on the line. (Not ours. LOL) I won’t be able to put into words exactly why Patrick won out. It was an overall feeling.We’ve learned there are multiple people to deal with in a purchase. Starting with the “greeter” who answered the feeler sent out. Ketyra answered all questions and pointed us to the next step.Maz. He was our salesperson. And let me tell you, he was aMAZing! We came in at our appointment time. He was friendly and professional. He got the car ready for our test drive. Patiently explained features we’d need. Chuckled with us as we discussed direction and advised if we make all rights we’d end up back at the dealer. Once back with him he went over some options with us and totally understood our wanting to mull it over. No pressure. One more question the next morning which he promptly answered and that’s it. We set the time to sign the papers.My fiancé got there first to get the ball rolling since I was at work. I got there later and the “feeling” continued. Maz was with another customer but I was greeted by others and felt at home. After a snafu that got corrected quickly, we worked with Fernando for our financing. Of course that’s the most torturous part. LOL. Yet he made the process go by quickly and neither of us felt pressured into “extras”.I know this is a long review and if you’ve read this far, thank you. I am literally writing this only two days post purchase. I read the reviews for here and the other dealer when we were deciding between the two. I know that any business will have 5 star and 1 star. I am not disappointed and I will update when we go in for our first maintenance.

I am definitely not the easiest customer to deal with... but let me just say that David Gruszeczka did an exceptional job at making me satisfied with my vehicle choice. He was very professional, yet personable. Even after the deal has been done and over with, he has gotten back to me in a very reasonable time frame to answer any questions I’ve had. The dealership experience overall was mediocre, nothing to complain about except the extremely lengthy time we sat waiting for the vehicle’s temp plate to be put on and to sign final paperwork.

This is a well deserved Glowing Review!This was our fourth car dealer of the day and first time at Patrickl Hyundai ever. It would be a cliche to say they are a breath of fresh air, but it was a very unexpectedly easy and no pressure purchase. It took less than two hours to choose a car from many and pay for it, with no games, no added dealer expenses or cosmetic packages or tricks and just straight up honest people from sales to finance manager. Mazen Shunnarah was our salesperson and very knowledgeable and offered answers to questions he suggested we might want to ask. He did not have to go to a managers office for every step which was assuring. Highly recommended dealership from this experience. Thank you.

I called and talked to some one at 4 o’clock and verified they had the car there that I was interested and made an appointment to see it at 5. When I got there I was told that someone had put a deposit on that same vehicle (the only other people in there). When I asked when they did that the person said an hour ago, the same time I had verified it was there. I walked out and the same people that got the car, walked out seconds after me with out said car. I went to another Hyundai dealership and gave them my business.

Typical dealership where salespeople and finance advisors straight out lie to your face in order to get you to buy . Leaving a 1 star rating because of the service department . Multiple times I have expressed concerns about my car . They always tell me “everything is fine “ . No cat should be shaking or rattling . I even paid for a vehicle inspection and diagnosis . Of course they said everything was fine . The very next day I took my car to another dealership and they finally found the problem and fixed it on the spot . No need to reach out @Patrick Hyundai. You will not be getting any more of my business

He was thorough, straight forward, kind and knew how to find the perfect car for me! He even went out of his way to make sure I got the color I wanted. He was wonderful! I was at the dealership from 5pm until 10pm. I couldnt believe it took 5 hours for the deal. The finance department was finally ready for me around 9pm. I am also pregnant, so going into finance I just wanted to sign what I needed to sign and go. My husband was with me at the beginning, but I had him go home around 8pm, since it was taking so long.The finance manager Fernando is really nice, but I seriously wanted to rip my hair out when I was in his office. For over 30 minutes he kept badgering me to get the extended warranty. I said no probably about 10 times and he wouldnt stop. He just kept giving me different numbers and saying the favorite finance manager saying Im pretty much giving you the warranty. He finally gave up around 9:40pm. I got home EXHAUSTED. Looking back, I wish I just told him the deal was off and just left. Why do they have to be so pushy? I feel like because I was alone and my husband wasnt with me, he tried to take advantage of the sale. Im sure if my husband was with me he wouldnt have been so pushy... he even kept saying just sign for it and dont tell your husband like what?? are you serious.My husband and I also purchased a 2021 Camaro at a different dealership (Dekalb Sycamore Chevrolet) back in November, and they were SO quick and there was no pressure to buy anything extra. We were only there for an hour and a half. They asked if we wanted extended warranty, we said no ONE TIME, and they said not a problem. They did not bring it up again! Patrick Hyundai needs to learn from them.I am giving 2 stars, because I think the price I got for my 2019 Santa Fe was fair.
Currently own a Hyundai that I purchased at a different Hyundai dealership many years ago, came in really quickly since I was in the area to ask a few questions over at the service department. Although I am not in the market for a car just yet, Chris helped me out in service, even though that is not his work place area, I found out he’s in sales. No one was available at the time and Chris saw me and asked if there’s anything he could do to serve me, not just help, but serve! Now that’s customer service to a whole different level. He took his time and was able to answer all of my questions. Gave me his business card and let me know if there’s anything I ever need to let him know as he’d be more than happy to serve me to the best of his ability. If youre looking for a car or anything, go see Chris over in sales! Definitely didnt get this kind of treatment at the Hyundai dealership I purchased at. Went to Patrick Hyundai for the first time today and even though I bought a car at a different dealership the service I received was excellent, they performed the first oil and filter change with tire rotation, they washed my car and I didnt had to pay a cent. Thank you for the great service.
We walked in with the expectation of purchasing a car to take off the lot. Many associates were hanging around, occupied by their phones and one even playing Solitaire. Not one person greeted us and after standing around the showroom expectantly for 5 minutes, we ended up just using the bathroom and walked out and bought a Toyota down the street instead.
This was a routine oil change and tire rotation at no charge. We were checked in quickly and courteously. We were contacted within the anticipated time frame and picked up our vehicles. As an additional courtesy, we were given a car wash rain check due to the exceptionally cold weather.
This was a five-star experience for my husband and I. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the experience . Would recommend to anybody to buy from Patrick Hyundai. We love our 2021 Hyundai Tucson.

Leased a 2022 Kona 6/22/21 and had a great experience! Dorothy Victorson, Experience Advisor, was my first of several contacts via phone, as I had leasing questions. Wanted to get an idea of the lease cost before I came in to test drive & sign. She was wonderful getting back to me several times and having me speak with Ron Skalski, Sales & Leasing Product Specialist. One of the nicest persons I’ve ever met. Spent 4-5 hours with him, as leasing paperwork & car prep takes some time. Passed the time with great conversation & he filled me in as to each leasing step. – Part 2: Came back 6/24 @ 9:30pm as right rear tire was losing much air. Even though dealership had closed, Ron met me at Service door & filled out my paperwork for drop box. I had scheduled a 10pm cab pickup. Waited outside until a little past 11pm, with no cab even after several calls. While sitting on bench. Ron & Katie (Business Mgr.) approached me, as they thought I would have left sometime earlier. Katie called for an Uber pickup which arrived shortly. When reaching my Des Plaines destination, I realized that I couldn’t pay for Uber, as she placed & paid via “her” phone. When returning to Patrick Schaumburg 6/25 for pickup, Katie would not accept reimbursement, even after several attempts. And Ron has followed up several times since. I must say Patrick Hyundai was a most pleasant experience. Ron, Dorothy & Katie, thank you. (Give them a raise & promotion.) All staff was great.

So Corey Paller is a good sales guy to work with. However, once he hands you off to finance your experience goes down hill for the rest of the purchase experience. I should note that the advertised price will not be what you pay as it will be advertised to you with discounts you don’t qualify for (veterans discount) unless you’re a Vet of course, I paid $2,000 more forms car than they advertised… My car was delivered with part of the decal missing, plastic still in the car, couple scratches on the rims and when I asked them to remove the pin striping the glue was left on my car for me to get off. My née car within months was leaking antifreeze and getting a loaner car for work was a headache and battle even though it was a warranty repair. When I said the doors didn’t lock correctly they attempted to fix it, but then my special needs 8 year old almost fell out of the car driving because they didn’t test the back doors. After scheduling a recall only last minute after my schedule was rearranged did they contact me to tell me the item was on back order. I got rid of the car at the one year mark- safety first!!! Now I’m trying to cancel the warranty and they’ve ghosted me. I had to contact Zurich directly, and attempt to supply the documentation myself and have learned from Zurich that the dealership refunds the proration of the warranty. But after numerous emails to multiple people there, tweets to them, voicemails left for even the manager I can’t seem to speak to anyone to get my refund. I do have a lawyer on at my disposal and am disgusted to have to employ them over a few thousand dollar refund! Just so you’re aware be prepared to be spoken to as if you are stupid and have zero value as a client whether it’s service or finance, good luck talking to management (never available and don’t return calls or emails).Buyer beware!!!
I recently visit Patrick Hyundai and purchased a 2018 Santa Fe Sport. I scheduled an appointment to test drive two cars, but upon arrival, the 2019 was no longer available, which was disappointing. Guido was my salesman and he went back to his system to see if they had any other options similar to the 2019 to test drive. He was able to find one and being able to compare it to the 2018 really did help solidify the right vehicle for me.Prior to arriving on the lot, I had done a TON of research about the right questions to ask and how to understand all the paperwork theyd put in front of me. While the process was quite long (there was a lot of down time waiting, but I hear thats pretty normal), I felt like Guido and the finance manager, Jorgina, did a great job of answering all of my questions. I felt like they took the time I needed to process and understand the paperwork and options, and didnt pressure me into something I didnt really want or need.I am still waiting to hear back from Guido on the status of my all weather mats that were part of my purchase, but otherwise I am VERY happy with my car buying purchase at Patrick Hyundai.
The purchase of my Tuscan 2 years ago was a really great experience. Cars are good too (I also have a Sonata) That enthusiasm had a lot of weight but unfortunately is fading slowly. My last 2 visits were a disaster. After I mentioned to staff that one tire is losing air all the time they offered to add more air. This is not what I expected from a professional. I pressured to check for signs of damage or screws and they told me the tire is fine. I went to another mechanic, they found the screw. Last visit - I asked to check for oil leaks in front shocks. I also asked if these are on warranty. So shocks are on warranty but when the car was returned they forgot to check them. They took car back and returned saying everything was fine. I went to another mechanic where the guy lifted the car and explained everything. While it isnt terrible leak making it difficult for office guy to detect, I believe there is a reason why top part is greasy and has reddish tone and bottom half is dusty grey. So what am I supposed to think? My other Hyundai is getting old and I was thinking about getting a new one in a year or so but now I wonder how good is warranty if you cant use it?
Chris Reyes was awesome. I have been looking for and researching cars for the last 2 months and had gone to a number of dealerships. I had test drove different cars and fallen in love with them, but had ultimately been turned off by the sales person being too aggressive or not being entirely honest. After walking away from 4 potential cars at 4 different dealerships, I reached out to Patrick and was put in contact with Chris - he scheduled an appointment with me and kept me in the loop during the whole process. He was the best possible person I could have been paired with. The car is a dream, Chris helped make sure there were no hiccups in the process, and he made sure there were no surprises. He killed it.Edit: while Chris was awesome, I did have some issues with the finance team during my car sale and afterwards. Thankfully Chris was helpful and smoothed things out for me, but I was a bit less than impressed. Im not going to change my review because my sales experience was still great, but I will say to make sure you know what your interest rate is before going into the finance office and make sure you look at every detail before you sign anything or leave the building.
After having a horrible experience at a different dealership, I was feeling pretty hopeless. Tom S. treated me with respect and like a human being. As a woman car shopping can be an incredibly nerve wracking and uncomfortable experience but I never felt that way once with Tom. From our first introduction to our final goodbye, Tom was respectful and willing to work with me to make sure I got the best deal possible. I would absolutely go back to Patrick Hyundai if it meant I got to work with him again.
Great mechanic, but service takes too long. I waited 2 days for my car and not everything was completed because they couldnt duplicate the issue during the test drive.
Got Tucson 2022 and I must write this review due to Dawid and Edwin’s extraordinary efforts for getting the car from different location on early basis. Dawid helped us in the car selection and showed different models with the same energy and attitude. Go and see them if you want this brand new 2022!!!
I hate going to the dealer. I equate it to slightly above visiting the dentist. It is typically an unpleasant experience with questionable sales tactics and long wait times. And though I came in with a prepared quote already in hand, Dorothy (internet sales), Dawid (sales rep) and Katie (finance) made sure that my overall experience was top notch from start to finish. Test drove the car, filled out the paperwork and though there was an additional sales pitch for long term warranties (not unexpected if youve ever purchased a new vehicle), it was low pressure, with Katie doing a great job explaining the additional costs and benefits. Overall, my time at this busy, family owned dealership was a positive one and I would definitely recommend visiting them for your vehicle purchasing needs.

Just wanted to mention this business. Overall outstanding. My wife and I needed a new car for a second baby on the way, and this dealership made it happen. Manny helped us find a new 21 Palisade, and after some honest discussion, Scott helped us finish the deal. If you want a car with minimum hassle I strongly reccomend this dealership. We are very happy with how we were treated. Will update as time goes on.
My 2020 Tucson already has a recall on ABS, which is very dangerous to start with. I schedule the service ASAP for the following week. A day before the appointment they call me and tell me they can’t do the service because their system is down so I have to reschedule. I reschedule for later in the week. At 4:15 PM the day before the appointment, they call again and tell me the same story, that their system is down and they can’t do my appointment and I need to reschedule. I have already taken a day off work to get the car serviced, so now I will lose a day’s pay because their system is down and they don’t bother rescheduling till 4:15 PM the day before the appointment. I asked for a loaner, so I can drop off the car and they can do the service when their system comes back up, but they said no. Horrible service. Chances are I will never take my car for service there ever again and most likely will not ever buy another Hyundai.
Corey paller and Scott Are the best people at this shop. They treat you so well and respectful. They did answered all my questions about the car financing and all.I highly recommend this place go give them a chance you will not regretI am happy with my purchase at Patrick Hyundai. Let me start out by saying no I was not paid or compensated for this review though it may sound like it by the time Im done. To make a long story short, I purchased a certified vehicle from Patrick Hyundai but over a few months of ownership, it was apparent that there were a few issues that shouldnt be there with a certified vehicle. These were the type of problems that are pretty well concealed and I am quite confident that Patrick Hyundai acted in good faith not knowing any issues existed with the car. You can imagine that I was not pleased and was ready to unload on my salesman and anybody else that would listen. Well, they did listen! I was told that their job was to make sure that I was happy with Patrick Hyundai and my purchase. So I skeptically and reluctantly challenged them to go ahead and take care of the problems. After about 10 days I was called to pick up my car and I was blown away! They not only took care of the problems that I pointed out but also took care of other issues that they found! They went far beyond my expectations of what I thought they would do for me. When I was leaving with my car it was important to them to know that they did well. I assured them I was a very happy client! As I tell my clients in the business that Im in, dont judge me by the problems we encounter, judge me on how we take care of them. I have all the confidence in the world that Patrick Hyundai had my best interest at the forefront and I would not hesitate to recommend purchasing a car from them. For me, they dont fit the mold of the typical car dealership...they actually care!
Bait and switch. This is not a good place for inmigrants. I went with my son to buy a car and We felt discriminated for this people. Horrible experience. Finally today we bought a car from kia liconlwood approved from bank of america.

My wifes car dropped off to have something checked she gets it back with a dent in the passenger side back door, I call leave a message for the service manager no call back no return call cause they dont want deal with it real nice im done never deal with this dealer again. Learn how to handle customer service.

I highly recommend going to Corey. He went out of his way to make sure everything was right with the car and even followed up the next day after purchase to make sure everything was satisfactory.
Worse experience ever. Horrible customer service. I had an appointment for oil change and recall service for TUCSON ABS KIT INSTALLATION for my Tucson 2017 including shuttle service. Once I arrived the representative told me that the recall service cannot be done because they ran out of the part!!I was disappointed but still wanted to do the oil change. The representative went in with paperwork and come back and say that they cant provide shuttle service because the designated car went out to pickup some parts wont be back in next 35 to 45 minutes!! The representative told me oil change takes about 35 to 40 minutes. I had no choice but do the oil change and wait. The representative was sorry and told me they will work on my car right away and if I want car wash, which I denied. After all this its took them 55 minutes to complete only the oil change.First of all, what kind of people run a business not know the inventory?? Dont they have system to check out how appointment they have verses the inventory??Secondly, when you have an arrangements for shuttle service on specific time how can you send vehicle to pickup some parts??Finally, they dont have respect for their costumers. If you cant keep a promise why make one?
We just bought a Hyundai Tucson 2021. I went more than 5 different stores and everywhere I went they just kinda being rude because I would like to know every detail before I buy the car. But at Patrick Hyundai they understood all my questions and they answered all them with details and having smile on their faces. Corey paller and Scott Helped us so much. I can even say that they helped us out of the box.I really like this place they were so nice and respectful.I MUST SUGGEST EVERYONE GO THIS PLACE FIRST, YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO GO THE SECOND PLACE AT ALL. My concern is NOT with Patrick but Hyundai overall. The Radio/navigational unit failed on our 2012 Genesis Coupe 3.8. The radio part is fine but we cannot get to the setup portion so we can do nothing as far as setting the clock etc. All the dealers we contacted tell us that Hyundai no longer makes this unit and did not give us an alternative to fixing this problem.
