GENESIS of Schaumburg - extremely HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!I bought Brand New Car Genesis GV80, paid over 90k and received the worst service ever… I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this location to anyone!!! If I knew I would never buy a car at GENESIS of Schaumburg.When I bought my brand new car, it had full tank of gas, the next day I got the check engine light. I immediately called the office and asked for assistance. I drove my car to them, they found the problem. One of their “professionals” FUELED UP THE CHEAPEST GAS instead of premium. They reset the problem, and it took me almost a day of fighting to make them take my car and fix it. In 2 days, I got the check engine light again!!Now it has been over a month that I am trying to schedule appointment to fix the problem THEY DID at the first place. I have been calling numerous times, I was told that they are very busy, and the earliest time is 2-3 weeks from now. Even if I will drop off the car myself ( concierge car service is booked and not available for the whole next month) it can take a couple days for them to look at my car and fix the issue. This is insane, they did not even give an estimate time when the car will be ready – they said, “maybe 2 hours… maybe 2-3 days”. I am shocked!!!Do not recommend!!!

I gave the dealership 2 stars instead of the one they truly deserve because the new service manager seems nice and was apologetic. After genesis of Lake Bluff closed, my service dealer was changed to Schaumburg.Genesis is sold under the idea of better service. They consistently did not show up for valet appointments they made, did not complete promised services, and did not provide promised estimates. This happened on 3 occasions until I finally decided to just sell my genesis altogether. I have had a hyundai or genesis for 21 years. Due to the service and warranty issues I will no longer be their customer.
Over the years I have purchased a number of new luxury cars and SUV’s. I can say without doubt that my recent purchase of a Genesis GV80 at Patrick Genesis was best new automobile buying experience I have ever had.The Patrick Genesis team of Phillip Merza, Edwin Cancel, and Manny Diaz that we dealt with was EXCELLENT. My wife and I were promptly greeted, and the closing process started. The trade-in value was quickly reconfirmed. The GV80 was cleaned and prepped with plates and parking decals transferred from our Mercedes Benz. The purchase paperwork started. Simultaneously, Taylor at Patrick explained and demonstrated the systems and features. She patiently answered our numerous questions, allowing us to walk out comfortable with driving our new SUV.We closed on the transaction exactly as previously negotiated and described. The entire process took less than an hour.However, nothing is perfect so you should expect a hard sell from the Finance department to purchase an extended warranty ($5,500 in cost!)Thank you, Patrick Genesis team.
This was the most pleasant car buying experience of my life. Never before was I treated so well. These guys have earned my business for the rest of my life. If you want to deal with genuinely nice and honest people this is where to go.

Great experience throughout the whole entire purchase! The sales team was amazing they help you find the wright car that fits your need and budget no surprises what you see online is what you get not like other dealers and the service department has been delightful to work with . They have new cars for service loaners, I leased my G70 for only $350 a monthit drives better then the BMW that I hade and $150 lessI love it !!!!
Customer service was lousy, nonexistent. They parked our car in their parking lot with a dead battery after they finished the service required. No apology for the dead battery. They gave it a minimum jump; enough to get home, but automatic locks wouldnt work. Will never go there again.
Very bad customer service. With inexperienced service dept employees for quality brand.
