Moving is stressful, I think everyone can agree on that. Once you get settled you then have to get established with all new Doctors; medical and dental. Finding someone you click with, that makes your feel important and valued is an even bigger task. I was referred to Dr. Cooper by a co-worker at my new job who has gorgeous teeth. (She even gave my co worker a referral credit after my appointment) When I called to make my first appointment the receptionist first asked How may I help your smile I thought how wonderful is that. From my first interaction on the telephone to coming in the door everyone was kind and accommodating. I warned the assistant that I have an extreme gag reflex, taking X-rays is really difficult for me and I have hated it since I was a child. The assistant took her time and didnt rush just to get me out the door. She made sure I was comfortable and gave me special tricks that helped keep me from gagging. The Dr. then came into the room and did a full work up of my whole mouth and presented me with a step by step treatment plan that gave me realistic goals to work towards. I knew I would need work and having a plan helps alleviate the stress. She was very thorough, from explaining the procedures to talking insurance. I would absolutely recommend this office to any of my friends or colleagues. (especially since I would get a credit) Thanks so much Smile Designs team and Dr. Cooper! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!! :)

Its been years since I went to the dentist and mostly because I always have horrible visits it always left a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended. This week I went to see Dr. Cooper, just because my wife made me. Her staff is amazing. It was not uncomfortable as Dr. Cooper has angel hands very gentle. She and her staff also took the time to explain things that were being done and why it was being done and didnt make you feel bad with the typical ohhh you need to floss better, we can tell you dont. We will definitely be going back to stay on top of things. The whole family will be going back. Even their prices are amazing!
I think its overdue for a review on this awful place. Where do I even start? In September of 2018 I decided I wanted to get my teeth fixed before I got married that October. When I was younger, I broke half my front tooth off and had filling on it every since. We decided that we were going to put a crown on my broken tooth and a veneer on my unbroken tooth so they would match better. I was very excited going into this process given I have had odd looking teeth for most of my life. Its been a high insecurity of mine and I was very excited to finally get them fixed. I started to feel uneasy when my temporaries were put on. They looked absolutely HORRENDUS and did not stay on at all. They fell off multiple times. I started to get very worried, what if my veneer or crown falls off? I had asked the dentist and she stated it doesnt usually happen. Finally the day came where I got my permanents put on. When I first saw them, I didnt love them. They were oddly shaped. I thought maybe I had to get used to them. I eventually got married and finally felt confident in myself. A few months went by and my worst fear came true. My veneer fell off!! I was in shock. I cried because I had spent so much money and time for this! it was put back on and brushed under the rug. I asked if I could still eat my normal foods and the answer was yes, so I went on doing what I was doing and being very cautious on what I ate and how I ate. A few more months passed, and guess what happened? Veneer fell off AGAIN! At this point I was getting very frustrated. I went in and they suggested a night guard for my grinding. I agreed and was told this would solve the issue and it would not fall off anymore. Woohoo! I have found my answer! Wrong. It had fallen off not once, but TWICE more. This has been FOUR times in total in the less than two years I trusted this practice with my smile. As Dr. Keren Cooper told me herself, not everything in medicine is guaranteed when I asked her why the night guard did not work. I now go everyday scared to bite into something that might be too hard, and I go to sleep every night scared that the veneer will fall off again. I now have to spend another 2k somewhere else to get two matching crowns put on(which should have been done in the first place). If you are considering going here, dont. As the other reviews say, the wait is awful. If you have an appointment first thing, expect to wait about an hour since they like to dilly dally in the back with their group morning huddle while everyone waits in the lobby. Ive tried to contact their insurance professional and they did not do a thing. Keren Cooper is living her best life posting cigar selfies on Instagram while theres people out there she did so very wrong. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
I have never been more impressed or pleased with a dentist in my life! Myself and my three children were all new patients of Dr. Cooper and she went above and beyond for us. When my youngest ended up needing more work than anticipated she made me feel so comfortable with every procedure. I never had to worry about my child when he was in her care. Dr. Cooper even had my child laughing in the middle of a procedure! I cannot thank her enough for her kindness and genuine personality! I dont care what any of these other reviews say. SHE IS AWESOME!
I have always hated the dentist until I started going to see Dr. Cooper thanks to a co-workers recommendation. Her team is always in a good mood and always make me feel like family. Never a dull visit with this dental team. Thank you for making the dentist enjoyable and for going above and beyond to ensure I love my smile. :)
Highly recommend to anyone in need of a caring dentist that really takes her time. She was willing to go slow with me because I have HORRIBLE dental anxiety. In the past I was very dependent on the laughing gas to get through my appointments but Dr. Cooper helped me to overcome my fears to where I dont need it at any appointment. LOVE HER!!! THANK YOU DR. COOPER
My experience at Smile Designs by Dr.Cooper was nothing short of extraordinary!! Dr. Cooper and her staff was very informative, professional and punctual as it relates to the services that was rendered to me. I got a root canal,a filling and a replacement crown. I would never think of going any place else!!!
Ive been a patient with Dr. Cooper since 2007! I absolutely love and adore Dr. Cooper and her staff. I use to have bad anxiety with previous dentists and Dr. Cooper was the answer to a prayer! She is very gentle and really helped cater to my dental anxiety. She is the best, I highly recommend.
Prior to making the appointment, I inquired about the length of the appointment & was told it would be no longer than an hour.Made an appointment for a cleaning & waited 35 minutes before being asked to fill out paperwork & to then be notified that the appointment would take two hours. An hour & a half of questioning & THEN the cleaning. Would not do business with this office again.UPDATE: they have also tried to charge my insurance for a cleaning I never received.
Dr.Cooper has been my dentist for the last past few years and has always taken great care of my teeth. Dr.Cooper and her staff are very nice, patient, and excellent dental services . Awesome office!!
Dr. Cooper and her staff are amazing. She is caring and gentle. I have had terrible experiences with other dentists that made me hate going to the dentist. She helped changed my mind about going to the dentist and made the experience pleasant. Thank you Dr. Cooper
Great dentist and staff. I highly recommend to anyone in search of a dentist in the Savannah, GA area. I was nervous about trying a new dentist after moving from Atlanta but I am so happy that I went to Dr. Cooper. She was one of the only dentist that got me in within a few hours because I was in pain.
The staffs is very professional and patience with theirs patients. Dr. Cooper has a beautiful spirit. When I come in office I feel at home. I love them all.,
Love Dr. Cooper and her staff. Friendly and caring. Wiil recommend my family and friends! ❤
Ive had 2 crowns performed. The second crown was very painful and I cried the entire time. The crown has now fallen apart in my mouth. I am now seeing a BETTER, CARING DENTIST who has gone over my x-rays and pointed out everything that needs to be corrected and was advised to file a complaint with my insurance and the board of dentistry. My husband is going there as well, had work done and is not at all happy with the results. He too will be filing a complaint. Wish I could post a pic of this crown that has fallen apart but I dont think Im able to! Shame on Karen for doing such a bad job!!!! Adding to my compaint. My husband WAS also a patient and his crown fell apart after a week! Why is Karen Cooper still in business? Glad my husband and I found another practice and willing to fixed her mistakes done by her and her Dental assistant SMH
I dont know what kind of office manager they have running this place but they need a new one. Cant blame the dentist because I never saw her. Arrived 15 min early for my appointment and sat there for 45 min after my appointment with no one offering any explanations as to why. When they finally realized I had left they called and asked if I was still in the building. When you work by the hour you dont have time to sit and wait for someone who doesnt value your time. If you want a dentist office that values your time as a patient I dont recommend going to this one.
Dr. Cooper and staff are extremely professional and kind. They take the time to explain everything and ensure you are as knowledgeable as possible about every procedure they treatment plan.
Dr Karen Cooper has set the tone for her practice that all employees adapt to and them as a whole cause the atmosphere to be pleasant, loving, sweet spirited, happy, fun, and very professional. This is a place where each individual is shown genuine care, compassion and kindness whether person, patient, or employee!
The worst experience I have ever had at a dentist. Put in a crown on my front tooth that did not match at all, left crying. Dentist and staff did not care at all, in fact the dentist yelled at me becaue I needed to be numbed three different time because they had me sitting in the chair for seven hours waiting.
Wonderful business. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. The service was amazing!
The most professional and high tech dentist I have ever encountered.
The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is professional and knowledgeable, and Dr. Cooper is awesome! she cares a great deal about your dental health!
Unprofessional, poor work ethic and she and her staff just flat out lied on several occasions. Not sure why she’s even in business because she sure as heck is not a good dentist. Check out her ratings on all sites!!
Best dentist office Ive been to in GA.
Wife has a mouth full of rotten teeth from a poorly done porcelain job. Glue used was substandard, bridges broke, and now she has nauseousness constantly because of it.
Went here a few years ago and I’ll never forget how long I had to wait in that waiting room. I waited over an hour and 45 minutes. They only care about money and once the “dentist” is paid, her attitude changes and she couldn’t care less about you or your teeth. She’s horrible.
Excellent doctor and friendly, caring staff
Absolutely Awful! Do not go here.
Great dentist and staff
Shes all about money
