My boyfriend and I had a couples massage this past Saturday while in Savannah at Sweet Water Spa. I was lucky enough (unknowingly then) to get CJ. He was AMAZING. The massage was magic. I get massages monthly back home and never have I ever had one as good as this! I may just fly back to get another one it was THAT GOOD! I tried to talk him into moving to PA, but sadly Ill have to travel back to Georgia to see him. Spa was beautiful, very serene. Keith at the front desk was great too! I HIGHLY recommend this spa!

Echoing what has already been said repeatedly about this place; CJ & Kristy are phenomenal massage therapists and consummate professionals. My wife and I, while traveling to Savannah for an anniversary found sweet water spa through google and hopefully were paying forward the amazing reviews that led us to them in the first place. Quite possibly the best massages weve received and we get massages near monthly. Keith at the front of the house was incredibly professional, friendly and engaging. We went in for a 90 minute couples massage on a Monday and upon exiting wanted to schedule again for the Wednesday but they were already booked. Hope you enjoy this place as much as we did.

Went for a bachelorette spa day and received a 90 minute massage from Keith. He was absolutely amazing. The a/c was not working correctly and he made sure to take every step to make sure I was comfortable. I was so relaxed after my service and couldnt be more thankful. Great customer service and very professional.

Very intuitive about What would make me more comfortable even when I didn’t know (I’m super tall and Couldn’t get my neck and head area comfortable but he noticed right away and fixed)Best massage I’ve ever had! I really enjoyed my facial and full body scrub today. Both technicians were great! I had only one issue, during my couples facial the young lady abruptly turned on the lights without warning to look at my friends face interrupting my time. I thought it was very unprofessional and inconsiderate of the other person in the room. Other than that the experience was nice!

My husband and I got a couples massage with hot stones and aromatherapy. I had communicated with Keith (beautiful hands and wonderfully skilled) before our appointment as I have skin sensitivities and am SUPER picky about my massage. My massage was wonderful and I was able to relax which is not easy for me to do, Keith did what he needed to get me to a very relaxed state and he is welcome to come work for me in my spa when he wants!! 😉 my husband said his massage was good but could have been a little better; he needs to stop comparing every massage to my 23 year career. An amazing establishment with really kind people and wonderful services. I had a body scrub, a body wrap and a massage and while everything was fantastic, I really need to emphasize how phenomenal my massage with Chedrick was. It was the best massage Ive ever had and the highlight of my trip in Savannah. Had a very relaxing and tension relieving deep tissue therapy massage from the Lovely Keith. Felt very comfortable and relaxed while working on some very sore areas of my body. Booked again for the following week and would recommend this place for massages to anyone passing through ot living here always! Went with a group of 5 ladies for my birthday and we all had a wonderful experience! The customer service was awesome even after a few changes, add ons, and a million questions. Keith made sure the group was happy and comfortable as the environment was relaxing and clean. My massage, scrub, and mud wrap was amazing and I was back two weeks later! My husband and I went in for a scheduled couples message. They had an availability the same day. After our message, they were also able to fit my husband in for a last minute facial. They all did a great job. Very professional. They took the time to listen to our needs and addressed problem areas. Everyone from the receptionist to the masseuse to the esthetician. Meredith did an absolutely amazing job! She was very professional, the ambiance was very relaxing and soothing, and the facial was wonderful. My skin was glowing with a healthy glow at the end of it and my brows were perfect.

After a little scheduling snafu, they were able to move our massage to the afternoon. To make up for the error, they have extra time and additional hot stones and aroma therapy, which more than made up for the delay. The shop is quite inviting and I loved walking up the stairs through the old house, redesigned as a spa. The massage rooms where lovely and comfortable. The massage quality was excellent!

I was honored to enjoy my very 1st massage this weekend from Sweet Water Spa. They were a able to accommodate a group of us ladies ( which was hard to find) The customer service was awesome, everyone was very friendly. Summer was WONDERFUL she did an amazing job in get my knots out my back. The room was very relaxing the essential oils was a plus. I would most definitely be going back.

Went on a last minute weekend trip to Savannah and they were able to get me in for a hot stone massage and gel manicure the next day. Reina and Keith were very kind and knowledgeable on the phone and in person. My massage therapist, Sedrick sp.? I think, listened to my needs about lower leg and foot circulation and was very very good. The nail tech was very friendly and detail oriented. That being said and I fully acknowledge I knew the price of the service, so my next statement is a neutral comment and why Im leaving 5 vs 4 stars. I could prob get the same $60 gel color manicure for 30-35$ and nails and experience would have been the same almost anywhere else. I did not have tips and gel... just gel nail color on my natural nails. To end on a positive note, if I could do the $115 hour hot stone massage each time I was in Savannah (every three months or so); I def would :)

Phenomenal experience at this spa! A hidden treasure that is well worth the time to fit in your vacation. The folks here are amazing. Everyone is friendly and approachable and the service was fantastic. My facial was performed by Jennifer and it was the best facial I’ve ever had done. I highly recommend Sweet Water Spa. One of the most impressive aspects of the day was that they didn’t try to push any products on me like every other spa I’ve ever frequented. Go find this hideaway. You won’t be disappointed.

In town from St. Augustine and decided to decompress and this place nailed. Excellent service from the front door and the massage therapist (Latoya & Jara) that did our couples massage were artists. Definitely recommend both of them!

The spa was very clean, and the staff went out of their way to make sure my sister and I were properly pampered. The facial I received was wonderfully relaxing and just what I needed. Keith even took the time to provide us with a list of restaurants to extend our enjoyment of Savannah beyond the spa.

Got a 90 minute deep tissue massage from Jen. Jen did an excellent job of working out the knots and doing stretch movements. I was perfectly sore with better relaxed myscles. The spa itself was pretty, located in an old home.

I received a 90-min deep tissue massage from Keith and it was incredible! I had a great experience when my partner and I went. It was very intimate and the therapist were experienced and they made us feel comfortable at all time.They had a local feel and it felt great to support a local business. Better going here than a big chain spa facility. It was affordable because I’m a college student but, still felt like I deserved a day to be treated like a Queen.It was a little hard to find, but placing a quick call and found it instantly. Highly recommended to go here and you will be greeted by the two Lisa’s.Take a trip here for you spa needs and you won’t be disappointed. 😊

I had quite a memorable experience at this lovely spa in the heart of downtown Savannah. I entered an elevator and went up. When the doors opened I found myself in another world. The atmosphere, the music, the lighting, it all presented an exotic feel yet the staff made me feel instantly at home. The spa was very clean and the staff was highly professional. I hopped into the sauna first and then received a massage after. Keith did my massage and it was some of the best work I have ever received (this is coming from a massage addict). A group of friends and I went for a spa day at Sweet Water Spa for some much needed pampering by these amazing people. We had the rejuvenation day package and I must say they did not disappoint. We are rejuvenated! There were 5 of us in total and they did a great job of making sure we all got to be together at some point during our services. Veronica gave me the most amazing massage of my life, Lisa the most thorough and relaxing facial, and Ann and Asia kept us entertained while having our nails done. The lunch was superb and hit the spot. My only complaint would be with the bread, while delicious, was a little thick. So if you dont care for a lot of bread I would opt for the crepe or see if there are other bread options. All in all it was a wonderful day that allowed us gals to reconnect and unwind. We will definitely be back at our next Savannah visit! Thank you ladies, and Kevin!

Best place to get a massage

I was in town visiting and woke up with a migraine. Called Sweet Water and they were so incredibly accommodating. They got me right in. Karen was amazing. She has. Such great energy - she was able to relax the spasms and me with just the perfect amount of pressure (not too deep or hard) but extremely effective. Can’t wait for my next visit to Savannah - I will definitely go back (hopefully without a migraine).

Second time coming to this spa. Got a couples massage today and loved every minute! They are incredible and listen to your needs. Coming back again!

My boyfriend and I were in Savannah for a relaxing vacation away from the hustle bustle of New York. We decided to get massages as a way to relax. My boyfriend’s massage therapist was Sarah. He really liked her and felt like she listened to his requests (neck and lower back). I got a custom massage with Veronica. I requested my thighs and calves to be massaged as I have knee pain and this usually loosens everything up. I asked three times during the massage for her to use more pressure however she did not. It felt like she didn’t really care what I wanted for the massage. It was like she had a planned massage and wasn’t going to derail that plan. I left feeling very frustrated and disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this massage even if it was free. I went to this therapist for a service that I did not feel I received. What a waste of $100.

My husband and I went here for our first spa experience together. We both got massages and facials. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I could literally feel the stress releasing from my body. I would recommend them to everyone. After our experience with this spa no other spa will be able to compare. I also highly recommend Vickie as a masseuse. She was knowledgeable and informative, not to mention she catered to my needs.

Pretty disappointed and havent had a chance to actually go there yet. I had a group massage booked back in April for my bachelorette party with only me and 4 other girlfriends. It was postponed due to covid and we tried for weeks to rearrange only to never have calls returned. We finally were able to reschedule and we just got a call 2 days before our arrival that they decided to close again and cancel our appointment. This is extremely disappointing as weve been looking forward to this girls trip for MONTHS. I understand wanting to not make further bookings but it is pretty disappointing to cancel an already booked appointment especially since its already had to be rescheduled so many times. Brides in 2020 pretty much got screwed this year and its just very disappointing to continue to have cancelations to already made appointments.

Lisa was great. I got the rejuvenation day package. Everyone was very friendly especially kieth who took the time to explain everything to me. Only thing I would change is the parking downtown which is not the spas fault but it was a great and relaxing day

While spending a girls weekend with my mom and sister we couldn’t miss going to a spa. This was my first time getting a massage and Samantha my masseuse was great! They were welcoming as soon as we walked in the door offering water, tea, or coffee. With pleasant aromas all around, They eased us into the spa atmosphere as we moved through the spa. We were also pleasantly surprised we were all in the same room for our treatments. We each had our own massesuse who knew exactly what we wanted. I am absolutely sold on massages now!

Loved our services!! We got the Sweet water escape deluxe package and added a pedicure. This was the first time Id had a scrub and wrap in the same day and it was phenomenal, my skin feels so soft and renewed. We also added on the soy massage oil from the candles, and wow, it was heavenly! Im not sure if my skin feels so great because of the scrub and wrap or the soy oil they used, or maybe all of the above. Ashley did our pedicures and she was so sweet and did a fantastic job! Thank you ladies. We will hopefully be back for Mothers day!

We were in Savannah for a girl’s trip and chose Sweetwater Spa for some much needed pampering. Keith was very friendly and professional. He even gave us some great tips for food and on how to get around the city. Three of us chose the 2 for $170 package and got deep tissue massages and body scrubs. The other one got a raindrop massage. We were very impressed and enjoyed our time there. Sarah, Nadia, Lisa, and Chedrick were awesome! We will definitely visit again!

I loved this place! I walked in and was instantly wowd by how beautiful and peaceful it was. I got a pedicure while I was there and it was the best pedicure I have ever gotten! I will never go to a foreign nail salon again if you get what Im trying to say. The attention to detail the young lady put into my pedicure was impressive. She had my toes looking so healthy I almost considered not putting any polish on and walking out just like that. I cant remember the name of the nail tech but I do know she just moved here from Alabama :) thank you for the amazing work!

My massage and facial were perfect. The therapists were so kind and really helped make it a relaxing experience for me. The building, however, is super tiny. I constantly felt like I was bumping into people while walking from room to room. I bought the Rejuvenation Package so I also received a manicure and pedicure. While I loved the pedicure station and chairs, its in a very weird location. When I am paying for a spa package I expect much more than I received. It was uncomfortable basically sitting in the waiting room while getting my nails done. The pedicure was OK, but I wouldnt go back for another one at this location. Same thing for my manicure. I also received lunch as a part of my package. I wasnt expecting to eat it while I was receiving my pedicure, so I was basically eating in front of everyone in the waiting room. I wont even comment on my salad. For what I paid (including the custom massage add on, pedicure and manicure upgrade and shellac nails) I expected much more. Ive experienced other spa packages before at multiple spas and this did not even come close to comparing.

I had a horrible experience, I went in for a facial was recommended to get a chemical peel .The following day my face was burn I followed up and called the spa they asked for pictures which I send in and got no feedback . The owner then asked me to e mail her picture still no feed back . The front desk is wonderful but the owner is truly unprofessional I would never ever recommend this place to anyone . I came at the very last minute on spring break looking for a massage and I must say I am thoroughly pleased. I felt like a princess. The setting is so beautiful and quaint and the masseuse really took care of the knot in my back! I would definitely come again the next time Im in Savannah.

We had a wonderful pedicure experience at Sweet Water Spa. We visited Savannah for my sisters bachelorette party. Our nail techs were amazing. They did a great job and Lisa even took on my Pinterest inspired very detailed nail art. She knocked the design out of the park! Cherry on top was getting restaurant recommendations from Keith on the way out. I highly recommend them!

This is the spa! My first experience was amazing! I arrived 15 minutes late, annoyed with downtown parking and I almost cancelled my services. When I entered the spa I was greeted very warmly, and immediately felt comfortable and at ease. I received the Body&Sole package with an additional service. Each service was amazing! I enjoyed my experience so much I returned a week later for another service!!! The staff is very professional, the spa is clean and inviting, I will definitly be returning.

I went to Sweet Water Spa while visiting Savannah and it was terrific. Veronica was my massage therapist and Lisa did my facial. Both services were exceptional and the ladies did a terrific job. I will see them again on my next visit to Savannah.

I was astounded when the nail tech compared my long cuticles to the ‘nasty pore extraction’ that she did during a facial earlier in the day. I was also disappointed that my massage and facial that was supposed to last 2 hours ended in 1.5 hours because she started late. There seemed to be issues with scheduling - my friend and I arrived 30 minutes early and they couldn’t figure out where to put us. Definitely wasn’t worth the price and will not consider going back.To address the spa managers comments below:I was traveling with a friend, when we booked our appointments we did NOT book a couples massage. We asked that our appointment times coincided with each other so we would be at the spa at the same time. We were surprised to find that we would be having our massages in the same room. My friend called a week in advance to let the spa know her dermatologist recommended that she NOT have a facial. The spa said that they would substitute a body scrub for the facial service. When we checked in, the spa host admitted that he forgot that she was having a body scrub. We did not surprise the spa or make any last minute changes as suggested.The emails that I have received from the manager made excuses for his employees and put the burden of figuring out how to make it right on me, the customer. This is not customer service.I encourage you to read through all of the reviews (not just the good reviews) because youll see a theme of excuses. I wish I had read them before visiting.

We are relatively new to Savannah and found Sweet Water Spa from online reviews. Ive been there twice, had excellent massages and have recommended them to friends. The salon is clean and the building itself has a historic feel.

I got the Rejuvenation Package from Sweet Water Spa and the massage and facial were wonderful. However for a manicure and pedicure I would recommend going somewhere else. The girl that gave me my pedicure was not very experience and layered on the coats of nail polish to the point where even the next day the polish was still soft and of course by that time it was just completely messed up too. Also when she was scrubbing my calluses she cut the sides of my feet where my skin is thinner, which is very uncomfortable and takes a while to heal because that skin is thin. So If you are considering getting your nails/toes done here I would think twice about it, but the massage and facial were wonderful.

My wife and I were in Savannah for our 25th anniversary. We scheduled a couples massage at Sweetwater Spa. Sarah and Kristy were our therapists and I must say that it was the best massage we have ever had. Keith was awesome and treated us with two glasses of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. I highly recommend Sweetwater Spa.

What a wonderful find! From the homey, adorable interior to the super friendly and helpful staff, this truly was a wonderful experience. I often get massages, and this one certainly did not disappointment. So happy I went here!

I got a couples massage here with my wife on our anniversary. The massage itself, atmosphere, aesthetics, and services are top notch. This place is much less expensive than other similar locations around Savannah. The art on the walls is well placed and relaxing, the soothing tones played during the massage are gentle and not overdone, and the massage therapists will work one on one with you to customise the experience directly to you and your individual needs. Best of all, they do understand that many people such as my wife are new to the experience and can be intimidated by the process, and they are very friendly and accommodating to ensure that they have a relaxing visit. Be aware that since it is located on the busiest road in downtown Savannah, chances are the relaxed atmosphere of your massage will most likely be interrupted with sporadic noise pollution such as sirens, drunk people yelling outside, people driving slowly by trying to show off the bass of their sound system, and cars with performance exhaust revving loudly to try and show off. This is not the fault of the business, just a fact of life for any relaxation based service being offered in a modern city. It is something to be aware of if this is something you are sensitive to. My massage therapist was a wonderful person named Gita. I highly recommend requesting her if you plan on visiting this establishment as she did an outstanding job.

Ive been to this spa for massages on 3 or 4 different occasions with different people each time. Every time was fantastic. I have been to other spas in the city and this one was the best by far. The environment is unique and relaxing and the massage therapists were professional and excelled at their work.

Jen was the BEST massage therapist! Not only did she do an awesome job, we got caught up in great conversation. Good people for sure. Definitely will be back when Im in town, and Ill be sure to ask for Jen!!

I met Keith on my first day in town for a weeklong conference. He was so helpful in providing a listing of great places to go/see/eat. He didnt sell me services at the spa until I mentioned that I might get a massage. He immediately said - come on in on Sunday, I know we have openings on Sunday.So on Saturday, I called and scheduled a massage, mani and pedi.They were great. Christie did my hot stone massage and I was still partially out of body for hours after. She worked hard to clear all of my knots and bumps.Then Lisa reworked my waaay overdue heels and cuticles back into shape and kept me entertained with fun conversation the entire time. She also encouraged me to reshape my nails to their correct shape (I never knew we each had a correct shape!!). They look great!I highly recommend the spa and have already recommended them to some of our conference attendees!

My husband and I went for a deep tissue massage and it was great. My husband said he felt really good afterwards and didnt expect it to be so relaxing and good for his achy muscles. I asked for medium to deep pressure and I can tell the therapist went medium into deep throughout my massage. The prices are a bit steep but in the end everything turned out great.

Jara and Sarah were fantastic!!! Best massages we ever got, customer service was excellent and the space was beautiful. We are going back again this week!

Cute and quaint. the massage room i was in wasnt a room. it was closed off by a heavy curtain, so i heard everyone coming in and out of the bathroom. My manicure and pedicure were amazing. Massage was just ok...never asked how the pressure was, etc.

My husband and I went here for a couples massage New Years Eve and we werent disappointed. They fit us in last minute which I was very thankful for because with 2 kids its hard to find arragments to be able to have alone time often. They called ahead of time to let us kbow the scheduling was running 15 min late and when we arrived they offered mimosas while we waited. It was a very nice touch for my husband and I to just sit and get relaxed while enjoying our drinks with uninterrupted conversation before the massage, so we didnt mind the wait at all. We had Keith and Sarah as our therapists and they made us feel comfortable from the moment they walked in. Keith knew exactly what areas needed worked and seemed to read my mind through the whole experience. It was above and beyond for me. Cant wait to go back and will request him again. This was my husbands first massage and he was very pleased with his experience as well. Loved everything from start to finish.

My sister and I were a couple of days ago while on a sisters trip to Savannah. I loved the cozy and historic location. The room where we got our massages was so cozy and relaxing. Arris did my massage and she was great. I would definately recommend Sweet Water Spa to family and friends.

My wife and I had a couples massage and facial last week at Sweet Water and it was amazing!!! It was our first time there and we had such a relaxing experience we would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Savannah!! The staff was also cordial and very accommodating!!!!
