What an incredible company. 👏Everyone from Anthony, to Oscar, and even the general manager has impressed me with thier professionalism, skill, fortitude, and forthright compassion. These guys really care about what they do, and do it right. The quality you get form this company is bar none the best in the south. If you have to get a new AC unit, have problems with your current one regarding repairs, or even upgrades to your home system. These guys are absolutely the BEST. I cannot recommend them enough.

We had Old Coast replace our nonfunctional HVAC. The initial process was very pleasant. They arrived promptly, gave recommendations for replacement and the removal/install was very efficient. It was to that point a very pleasant experience. However, the unit installed was incredibly noisy. Old coast quickly sent out technicians on 3 different occasions to fix it, but none of the visits relieved the noise. I finally reached out to the manager, who said things were in process for factory replacement. He personally came to the house to inspect. I was not able to be there, but my husband was. He said that he did not hear any noise but would look around because “happy wife, happy life” and all. I called to speak with the manager myself and he was condescending and rude.They did not complete factory replacement, but tried one additional fix which finally improved the noise!My review only gives two stars due to the manager and his rudeness. All of the other employees were professional, prompt and efficient.

Came out on Saturday of a holiday weekend which I wasn’t expecting. Quick, clean. Didn’t waste any time and had my commercial kitchen AC unit running very quickly, and explained and showed how to avoid the issue in the future.Had another issue a few months later. John came by and went above and beyond. Fixed the issue quickly and saw to it that it shouldn’t be a problem in the future. Explained everything well. Very satisfied

The entire process with this company, from calling in for help with out broken AC, to getting guidance on the best new AC for us, to install, was extremely streamlined and easy as a costumer. Everyone we worked with seemed to genuinely care about getting us cold air again. Our house was at a toasty 80 degrees for two days, and they even lent us a temporary unit to give cool air to our bedroom so we could sleep, which was great because we have a 10 week old… sleep is super important to us! I would highly recommend these folks to anyone who’s on the fence.

Thomas answered our call for assistance regarding our smart thermostat and how to program each zone with a name. He took the time to carefully go through each of the steps and Im sure that I understood how to take over this part of are smart technology on my own. What was exceptional about Thomas is that he was never condescending, continually smiled, and was respectful. I called Old Coast Heating & Air first thing on Sunday morning, during a southern summer, with record high temps outside because my AC wasn’t getting cold. After calling several of the “Reputable” “Big Names” “24/7 Emergency Services” that never responded OCH& A was very responsive, communicated with me throughout the process and by 1 pm my air was working again. Mr.Sheppard is very knowledgeable and had no problem explaining the issues and we came to a quick resolution. If you don’t have one I highly recommend one of their maintenance packages. I paid no money out of pocket and still have a credit to use for future services. My family and I can not thank them enough from the initial service call (David is great) to the actual work was well worth the investment. They have a customer for any and all HVAC issues for life.

John was very professional and worked so hard for HOURS to get our system up and running. He kept me informed and gave me updates every so often and told me exactly what we needed to do to fix the system. I’ve had the same problem with my system 3 times within the last year and Josh actually took the time to figure out what the problem was and give recommendations on avoiding the problem in the future without being pushy about any subscriptions. Wow!! My A/C quit working last night (88 degrees in the house)after bad weather passed through. I called Old Coast this morning, and they had two awesome technicians here by this afternoon. Thomas Honeycutt and Danny Sarver were exceptional at performing diagnostics and repairing my system. Apparently an electrical power surge caused my problem. After repairs and having the unit up and running, they suggested surge protection for my system. After this close call, I was happy to invest in the protection. The two professionals went right to work and had the system protected and on line in no time! Old Coast just confirmed once again that I have the best company in Savannah for heating and air conditioning sales, service, and customer service! Thank you again Thomas and Danny!

From the intial call into the office, to John, Roy, Hector, and the whole team, this experience was as painless as possible. We had family in from out of town when the AC went out at 100* and they went out of the way to make sure we had adequate portable units until our install. Failed on Friday, new unit running by Monday afternoon. Definitely made a bad situation as easy as possible.

John Koen was remarkable. He went above and beyond in both his thoroughness in completing the job and in making sure I was satisfied. After hearing asthma was behind my desire to have the system cleaned, he not only cleaned it to within an inch of its life... he then stayed late to do additional work so that everything could be done in the same service call. And he worked to get me some discounts when I disputed some of the costs included. All this aside, the quality of John’s work and his work ethic is why I will be using Old Coast in the future. John K. was efficient and friendly. He fixed the A/C that has stopped working, performed regular maintenance, and went above and beyond by investigating our attic situation. We’ve spoken with several contractors (including the last technician from this company in November 2020) about the drastic temperature difference from upstairs to downstairs. He’s among the few to go in the attic. Of those that have been up there, he’s the only one to come back with photos of the situation and show us how badly we need insulation! There’s literally none in several massive spots. Very happy with John - he gets 5 stars.Old Coast gets 3 bc in November they tried to sell us a mini split without inspecting the attic and the attic ductwork. And I find out today that they install attic insulation! 😮But they are easy to schedule and show up quickly. That is hard to find. So...we’re probably going to do another year with them 🤷🏻‍♀️

I purchased a home full of surprises. Old Coast came out within 48 hrs of my initial call to service an old dirty system.After being given several options, I decided to replace the entire system. The initial repair person was great, but he didnt leave until Anthony came to take a look and provide information on a new system. Days later, a total system replacement happened and everything went well. Anthony once again came by and did a post-install inspection a couple of days later to answer question and check the work. Three weeks later due to no fault of theirs, one item that was not replaced (water pump) was faulty and filled the house with a burning smell.I called Old Coast after hours and while the helpline could not guarantee someone would come...Technician John was here within an hour.Anthony was on standby to help again and again. John made a special trip across town to get the replacement part and spent another hour + until it was working and everything was comfortable again.I cant say enough good things about this company. If youre shopping around just call them. Everyone from the scheduler to the helpline to the techs, installers and management have customer service figured out! Thank you!

They installed a completely new HVAC system two months ago. The install went well, but between that process and a maintenance visit I had today I have continued to turn down upselling by their representatives. They have been polite, but if you work with this company expect to have to turn down 5 or 6 additional service offers every time they come to your home.

This is a great company and would highly suggest using them for your air conditioning needs. They were able to help replace my air conditioner over the summer, helped me work with my home warranty company, and even got my air working well enough that I could survive a week with no air conditioning. All of their employees are so professional and kind. They take extra precautions to make me feel safe coming into my home during the Coronavirus. I recently had Alexander here to do a follow-up check and he was awesome. They also love dogs and are sweet to my dog who is very friendly but a puppy and can be jumpy! I cannot recommend them enough!

Old Coast Heating and Air Conditioning is a solid company with excellent service. They are very responsive when issues are emergent and have a good maintenance plan. They also do duct and vent cleaning with the dryer duct and that is a big help. The service people who come to do the maintenance are punctual, polite, thorough and reliable.

When Roy came to give a quote he worked with my schedule and came when promised. Once he came and priced out how much it would be to replace all of my ductwork he had a crew out within a week. Oscar came out with 2 other gentleman and was able to complete the job in 2 days. They were very professional and left the work area cleaner than when the started. I was really impressed by the job they did. I have had other AC contractors out to my house and they fail in comparison to the guys at Old Coast!!!! After a week and a half of no AC while waiting for the home warranty people to act, we decided to reach out to a company with a good reputation that would treat us well. After a quick search, we found that Old Coast had one of the best reputations in the area. They did not disappoint! Roy Moore was our rep, and he came out and was patient, kind, and professional. He answered all of our questions and got us set up with the level of unit and reliable service we were hoping to get for our house. They set us up with the soonest possible time to install the unit, and they gave us a floor unit to keep cool while we waited.The team that showed up on the day was early, professional, and incredibly polite. They took their time to make sure everything was installed properly, and we were up and running before the day was over. The was a total replacement of an ancient unit, and they even had to crawl into the attic space to run another thermostat wire. Needless to say, it wasnt a walk in the park job. They made it seem easy, though, and they were all smiles and good moods when I checked on them. I look forward to continuing our relationship with this company as we enjoy our new unit in our house. As first time homeowners, we know we will depend on them for years to come, and its honestly a relief to know theyre there.

I had an old wheezing AC unit. Old Coast HVAC came out and along with showing me that the unit was on its last legs, pointed out a copper tube that was too small contributing to a loss of efficiency. I made the decision to replace the whole unit and selected the economy model. At no time did Old Coast try to upsell me which I appreciated. After I did my own research later that night, I called my PoC back and he answered every question I had and recommended a better unit (actually telling me a more expensive model was too much for my situation). Installation started on time and went well. The installers were pleasant, hard working and left the place cleaner than it was. I am extremely happy. JerryThese guys came back and replaced my duct work. I live in an 150 years old building with all that entails. After installing the new AC, we realized the ducts were in sad shape. Hector and Ishmael spent two days of hard work to make sure everything was perfect. Great guys! Again, left my home cleaner than it was. Jerry

Our tech was on time and performed the maintenance on out Mitsubishi system. During the maintenance, he showed us that we have things growing in the system that could cause health issues. We needed to install the corrective measures which he did, along with a duct cleaning. He performed these tasks efficiently and left out home clean.

Old Coast installed my new unit in 2016. My smart thermostat had gone out so I called to have my routine maintenance and to possibly fix/replace the thermostat. Stan and Thomas were the techs that come out. They were polite, professional and friendly. They were able to replace my thermostat and have me connected back to it via my app. Above all else, my dog actually liked them. So that makes them the best!

Like to give kudos to service techs Caleb & Thomas with Old Coast. My A/C went out over weekend during start of a 95+ degree heatwave. Monday requested service call by A/C unit installer company whom identified an inside wiring issue. Old 60+ year home built on a concrete slab foundation. Wire conduit is under floor running through slab to outside. No attic or ground crawlspace to re-run any new wiring. A/C unit Installer Company never timely followed up by next day for giving other options. Next day Tuesday called several other A/C repair companies. Old Coast was the only one willing to service me same day after calling. Rest of repair companies put me on a wait list for next available slot when known. Old Coast re-confirmed the wiring issue, but really impressed me with outside the box creative thinking for a solution. They drilled through the lower floor ceiling into an inner closet space and inconspicuously ran the new wire to the wall nearest outside A/C unit. New wiring services fees reasonable and spared me costly expense of tearing up the floor getting to the old wire conduit, along with 3rd party repairs to restore the floor. Old Coast workaround was much less expensive and labor intensive! They also provided excellent same day service to entire indoor/outdoor A/C system pointing out only what other repairs actually needed to endure the upcoming summer! Very pleased in choice to go with Old Coast servicing!

I have hired several HVAC companies in the past and almost all were good. However, I have never had a more professional technician complete any work for myself or any of my clients. The entire process was explained in great detail. After the service call, I received a detailed report with photos to show the condition of both of my systems. Absolutely, the best customer service in the area.

I’ve had a membership with Old Coast for about 2 years and I knew the time was coming to replace my 20 year old AC and 26 year old Furnace. In preparation Roy at Old coast went ahead and gave me options on several great Trane products, did tests on the house to determine what unit would work most effectively, and assured me that if the unit bit the dust they could have minimal wait time on the install. A few days ago it was determined it was best to replace the system then keep racking up costly repairs. Our install crew of Austin, Filbe, and sir #3 did a great job and worked very hard. They were on site for 9 hours and I didn’t see them take a single break. They were quite determined to get the job done. Old coast also offered new technology for piece of mind such as a UV light that installs into the air system that helps to clean the air and discourages contaminants. Overall I’m very satisfied with the whole process, and confident that quality products were installed in my home. Thanks again Old Coast!

My condenser unit was making an awful sound. Old Coast sent Gary out to my house the same day I called. He diagnosed the issue immediately and gave me my options on either repairing the unit or replacing the unit. Unit is 15 years old so I knew it is coming to the end of its life. Same day response. Called in the morning and the technician showed up around 5 pm. Adam, the tech, is knowledgeable and professional. Found the problem and repaired the issue. I had a clogged drain line in the system and it was shutting off due to high water level in drain pan. I thought that the service was a tad pricey, but I suppose that is how it is here in Savannah with all the companies, given the importance and need for effective HVAC systems in this climate. I actually have two systems, one upstairs and one downstairs. I used Old Coast to replace my old worn out upstairs system in July. They did a nice job then, too. I thought that maybe by being a loyal customer I wouldve gotten more of a price break. Turns out that I was given a whole 30.00 off. I suppose that is better than nothing. Overall, not a bad company. All of the local companies have you by the short hairs here in Savannah.

Thomas and Alex were awesome. Our unit was DEAD, they came out quickly even though its the busy season and had it fixed almost as fast. Fair price, excellent service and SUPER responsive. Will DEFINITELY use again.

Old Coast Heating and Air Conditioning recently replaced my central AC unit. From start to finish they did a stellar job. Every employee was knowledgeable, efficient, reliable, and personable, and they arrived on time--to the minute.Specifically, Anthony, the estimator, provided me with an on-site, written estimate that included different price levels and payment options. All prices were competitive. I also had a time requirement, which he included in the contract. If customers have specific, individual requirements, Old Coast will work to accommodate them.To me, Old Coasts most outstanding feature was its preparedness. On the day before the installation, Anthony, Hector (the lead instsller), and Ismael (Hectors right-hand man) all arrived to preview the job and make sure all necessary materials were available. The next morning. Hector and Ismael arrived on time, worked expertly and efficiently, and had finished in about 4 hours. Moreover, they didnt leave until theyd made sure the system worked and Anthony had reviewed and signed off on the project.As a coda to the companys excellence, the next morning a Sunday, I couldnt open the breaker box, which theyd securely closed. I called Valerie, the very helpful dispatcher, who immediately called Hector. He was at my door in about 20 minutes. Not only did he open the box, but made certain my washer worked after a quick reboot.In summary, from the largest reason to the smallest, theres every reason to choose Old Coast for HVAC work. I assuredly will.
