The Best! My French gel lasted 3 weeks without a single chip. We followed the new owner Sam from his previous salon. I live in downtown Minneapolis and its worth the 30 minute drive.*The French Gel manicure picture below is 3 weeks old.

I used to come here consistently from 2009-2013, when I lived in the area. That owner sold it and it’s changed hands a couple times (I think) since then and neither was that great tbh. I decided to stop on a whim today and the new owner is FANTASTIC. Highly recommend and look forward to supporting this first time small business owner. Side note: English is spoken well here and customer service is great.

Everyone seemed to have left good reviews so i came in on a whim and did a walk-in. I got a regular manicure and felt so rushed like they wanted my money and out the door right away. The people were super nice but were more focused on getting me out as soon as possible to make their online appointments on time. She filed my nails so rough she was rubbing my skin and the skin around my nails are now damaged. The nail polish was uneven after she tried to paint it 3 times because the color was “too light” but the polish was so thick in one spot it looked terrible. Maybe it was just my luck, but I probably wouldn’t come back again.

I absolutely love TLC Nails! My experience here was amazing! The service is fantastic, the staff is so sweet and welcoming, and the work is fabulous! If you’re looking for quality work, then I highly recommend you visit this salon!

I don’t trust any other salon with my nails! My nails seem to always chip within a couple of days at other salons, but when Sam does my nails it last for weeks. Have been to a lot of nail salons in my life and this place is the best. 10/10 recommend.

My first time experience at this nail salon wasn’t exactly what I expected, as soon as I walked in I got the most devious look and at first I thought “was it because of my hijab?” But I just shrugged it off, but as time went on she just kept giving me those looks (the owner) and I went to go pay and she wouldn’t even come up to me to take the money, she kept saying she didn’t want to talk to me so they sent the other employee, to be honest that bugged me for a while so then I went back to see if there was a difference between my times there . I asked if they could do my eyebrows and the same woman gave me the same look and said “we don’t do eyebrows anymore” but as her husband was about to speak she spoke to him in her language and he said “our eyebrow machine is broken”, but why did she speak her language? that looked rude and kind of racist because I saw how she was with different colored people . In conclusion I did not enjoy my experiences there .

GREAT PLACE have been going to TLC for years.I feel lead to respond to the 2 women regarding the negative review and waxing claiming that the owners or employees are racists. THIS IS FALSE.No TLC is no longer doing waxing. Owners choice not to do.The 2 with the negative review need to understand a place of business and license with respects to waxing. if it is not needed no business will wax a persons eyebrows, why? Liability reasons nothing to do with race at all.As a person who know about insurance and liability on a business there reviews are false.I have always felt welcome at TLC and see how they treat ALL there customers.In response to negative speaking in their language, often they will speak with each other in there native language when i am there, because they communicate with each other often in their language as many citizens do is not being racists.I believe in honest reviews and since i know TLCs work i felt compelled to share the truth!I always get compliments on my nails every week! Often asked where i get them done. This alone speaks volumes to me as a customer.

Amazing people & atmosphere. They now are under new management, and you can really tell the difference. All their technicians are so polite and professional. I would recommend this place to everyone i know.

Love stopping by this location to get my nails done every so often. They are always super kind. I usually get a quick regular manicure and/or pedicure. Got a mani/pedi done a few days ago for a total of $40. I would recommend anyone in the Savage area to stop by and get their nails done here.

They always take great care of me and give me exactly what I want. These ladies all take their time and my manicures lasts 3 weeks vs. one to two like other places. You may have to wait at times but its well worth it.

Ive been going to Sam (the new owner of TLC) for over 7yrs. I first met Sam when he worked in Minnetonka at a shop that had just opened so I didnt know what to expect. But once Sam did my nails and pedicure, there was NO doubt Id be his customer PERMANENTLY!!Now that he has moved to Savage, Ive spared no expense on following him to this new location here at TLC. I travel over 40min one way and its well worth it!!Im there faithfully every two weeks.I must say they by far are the best Ive ever experienced and this is coming from someone whos been doing this for years and Im VERY selective.Not only does Sam and his wife take pride in the appearance of their establishment, they are also VERY dedicated workers at providing a comfortable, clean, relaxing and professional atmosphere with EXCELLENT service.Sam always takes his time, Ive never felt rushed in any way. He is a true perfectionist. He is so pristine and stops at nothing to make sure your satisfied before u leave. My nails look so perfect people are surprised when they learn these are my natural nails because they look too perfect to be real but they are!  Ive referred several people to Sam over the years and they love it just as much as myself. Once you get into his chair whether your a walk-in or appointment, this is YOUR time. Sam doesnt deviate from you in anyway. Cindy is wonderful as well. Very kind and genuine!Once youve let Sam do your nails & pedi, youll never want anyone else because THAT is when youll see know one measures up!!! So if youre looking for a place to go for complete satisfaction, look no further. Id recommend TLC ANY day!!!

Went in today, the owner did my pedicure. she was very attentive, very nice, and did an amazing job taking her time with the foot scrub and foot massage. five star!

Dependably Exceptional! I’m talking the best mani & pedi I’ve ever had. I do gel, and it lasts for 5+ weeks with no peeling/lifting. Sam is detail oriented, and takes his time to make sure your cuticles pristinely groomed, so then when he strategically applies the polish on just your nail (not surrounding skin) you leave feeling like you should consider a career as a hand model! Additionally, he soaks off gel like you’re supposed to vs using a drill! I cannot say enough great things about Sam & TLC Nails. I am not confused i have evidence i recorded a video. your wife said we didnt do eyebrows any more that means you stoped doing eyebrowls then the owner said the machine is broken you talked in a diffrent language i recorded the whole video my family attorney will review the video everything you did and said is in the video the person who did the pedicure was employe she was nice but the one who discriminated me was the owners wife by the way if you want to see the video i can show you. This is the worst place I have ever been toThere is glue all over my handsMy nails are crookedI now have to go pay someone else to fix it.

WARNINGDo not go here. I did a facial wax here and whatever they put on my face broke me out as soon as she put it on me and she told me that all I had to do was wash my face for it to go away. Im not stupid lady. Do not go here. They are not clean. She did not wash her hands before and used the wax that had been sitting in the pot (who knows if that wax was clean)I still have scarring on my face from this treatment that was done 4 months ago.

I walked in and one of the ladies asked me what I wanted, and I said a gel manicure. She then told me she was already busy. Why even ask what I want??
